Rocket was surprised, finding his baby girl in his bed with him, guessing she'd had trouble sleeping but didn't have the heart to put her back in bed snuggling her gently which was easing her anxiety ruffling her mohawk gently as she was explaining she'd had an nightmare about being in the fortress which made him get it reassuring her that wouldn't happen. "I know this daddy as you care about me like Groot." Shocket mumbled to him making Rocket nod.
"I do kiddo. Along with Linda." Rocket said to her feeling her relax lying beside him making Rocket choked up on the inside for her as Tivon had messed her up but he and Linda were helping Shocket heal of sorts hearing her gently snore making him chuckle softly. Later that morning, Groot saw him enter the kitchen wondering where Shocket was hearing him tell him that Shocket was sleeping in seeing Linda there understanding, after Rocket told her that Shocket had trouble sleeping.
"Yeah, sometimes I have trouble sleeping because of the time she and I spent with Tivon." Linda said.
"Linda… what're you doing here. Won't your friends be worried." Linda heard a tired Shocket ask.
"Nope as they know I hang out here. You look really tired Shocket." Linda said. "I'll nap later but let's eat okay." Shocket told her making Linda and Rocket exchange a look as they were having pancakes plus Shocket was having juice while Linda was having coffee stunned Shocket would be in the WWEB program at Avengers Campus after Summer knowing Shocket might be anxious but she and Rocket could help her.
"Yep plus we've been reading books about school, to prep her. I also want her to meet her cuz, Casey." Rocket said.
"That's good as she'll know that things will be okay. That's a good idea her meeting Raccoon Girl." Linda whispered.
Rocket nodded drinking coffee as he knew Shocket might be anxious about her first day, once she made a friend it would be okay knowing Spidey was the WWEB teacher and he and Wase had a daughter named Itsy so that could work smirking like a scheme was working out making Linda wonder what he was up to along with Groot and Shocket making Rocket shrug yawning as he was tired.
"Where're we, daddy and do you know these people who live here." Rocket heard Shocket ask. It was later that afternoon and Rocket had brought her to Roxy and Oreo's house so she could meet Casey. "Yep this is Aunt Roxyand Oreo, your cousin Casey's moms. You'll have fun, trust me." Rocket told her hearing Roxy answer it smirking seeing Roxy answer big and let them in saying Casey was in the living room watching Sonic 3 making Rocket chuckle knowing this seeing Shocket walk into the living room as a part with Shadow was on making her in awe asking who that was making Casey astounded, that Shocket was here.
"That's Shadow and yeah, he's cool like Sonic. You're Shocket right as Rockie told my moms about you.
I'm Casey your cousin." Casey told her making Shocket nodding as she joined her on the couch making Rocket smirk at this knowing both kits were bonding making him, Roxy and Oreo smile knowing this was a good thing knowing it might encourage her to talj to other kids especially when she started at Avengers Campus after summer.
