Chapter 27
"Senri, what are we?" I asked plopping myself down on his bed. Ah the dreaded question. I've been wondering on the plane ride back. Well the 2nd plane ride when I sat farther from Senri. It seems we have a three feet distance of how far we can read each other's thoughts. That's why Chaotic didn't want us to continue blood drinking so the distance wouldn't increase. Chaotic has also been trying to teach us how to "filter" our thoughts. As in picturing a mail slot and sending a thought through that to the other person. So not every thought sends through, just the ones you want. Honestly, Senri got the better hang of it while I'm still learning.
"What do you mean, Cassie?" He was laying down in bed and placed both hands behind his head. I curled myself around his left side and cuddled him with my arm draped across his chest. This is the first time we've been alone with each other since the bonding. I glanced up at a blushing Senri.
"Do you want me to stop?"
"No, this is nice, just never done it before."
I hugged him closer as a response and continued my train of thought outlook, "are we in a relationship? Are we dating? Are we just friends for now and see where things go? I've never dated anyone before." I think this is new to both of us because he purely feels confused.
"What do you want us to be?"
"That's what I'm asking you," I giggled, enjoying myself being this close to him with no interruptions aka Chaotic.
"We could be friends and gradually build up? Take it slow. I've never done this before either." Dammit, my thoughts are being sent to him, mailbox or not. He nodded in response to that thought.
"Can we go on dates? There is a neat ramen shop that I'd like to take you to," I said, picturing the last time I went with Zero and the cook that thought we were dating.
He hummed in response and then said, "I'm the one who should be taking you places."
"This is an equal partnership. I don't want you to be spending money on me all the time. Let me treat you too."
"I'm the gentleman I can afford to take you out on dates. You shouldn't have to worry about earning enough money from your singing performances with Alex-san. I'm a model I make enough to support both of us." Damn he read my thoughts again. I'm really trying to filter it out here! "You're still jet lagged. It's not going to help with blocking your mind when you're in desperate need of sleep."
He's right, we came back a day earlier; before the rest of the students started returning but we don't have class until Monday the 10th. Right now, it's just Chaotic, October, Onyx, Nao-chan, Ducky, Senri and I in the Moon Dormitories. I only got three hours of sleep.
"Is it alright if I slept here with you, Senri?"
He nodded and closed his eyes. I tangled my leg in-between his and settled off to sleep.
a camera shutter sound*
I popped up like a meerkat in a savanna only to find a shit eating grin that belonged to Takuma with his phone in his hands.
"You're cheating on me, I see. I thought I was your fourth husband."
"Takuma if you don't delete that I swear I'm gonna-"
"Gonna cuddle me to death? I bet Aidou would love to see this." Oh he's trying to up one on me? Me? Oh he has no idea the hell he has released on himself. I threw my head back and gave an evil chuckle.
"Takuma you're being too loud." Senri mumbled and literally threw his pillow at Takuma's face WITHOUT looking. Takuma dropped his phone in response and I dived for it but just as I grabbed it Takuma began tickling me!
I screamed with laughter and tried to kick Takuma off with no avail. "I'm sorry! I won't touch your phone AHAHA PLEASE STOP I'M GONNA PEE!" I squealed into the floor trying to breathe.
"Takuma, enough, she's going to pee on the floor." Senri sat up and lightly pushed Takuma off me.
Takuma lended me his hand and pulled me up off the ground, "hey I just wanted to give you punishment for cheating on me."
"Whatever, dude!" I said grinning at the blonde. "Boy, it's been a year since I saw ya" I just had to do the new year jokes.
"You two are both so loud."
"Chaotic said you've both been asleep for six hours. I decided to wake you guys up since I'm a fantastic Vice President-"
"Whatever! You just wanted in on the cuddle action huh Taku-kun" I wrapped my arms around Takuma only to be interrupted by a growling Senri. Someone's jealous. "Oh right we're being too loud let's leave him be"
As we were walking out Takuma told me how Kaname wanted to talk to me but didn't know what about. I'm sure I knew what the topic was about. Me and Senri's new love bond.

"As for your punishment, I think ten laps around the Moon Dormitory would be fitting before each of your training sessions with Ichijou." Kaname handed me a book that has the latest research on love bonds. He says there's no point in giving us a punishment for love bonds but he does have to give us punishment for underage drinking.
"I hope you can pass along to my cousin that his punishment is to clean the lobby and the kitchen before he goes to bed everyday for two weeks."
I nodded my head at Kaname and Chaotic got up to leave but it looked like he's not outta the woods yet, "Chaotic you must clean the library every other day for a month. I placed two of my students in your care and you let them drink underage" Kaname finished before Chaotic could object.
I raised my right hand to cover my mouth because I was smiling and Kaname cleared his throat and asked if I wanted to do twenty laps.
"No ten laps are great for me to stretch out before Takuma hands me my ass but thanks anyway Kaname!" I said cheerfully while getting out of the chair and quickly walked to the door. Gotta go before I get myself into any more trouble!

"Why do I have to do cleaning duty?" Senri sighed while laying his head on Takuma's left shoulder; I definitely took a picture!
"At least it's for two weeks. I'm pretty sure mine's indefinite. But running before training is great for exercise."
"Why are you guys in trouble anyway?" Takuma asked. We were sitting down in the lobby and it was around midnight. I looked towards Senri searching for an answer across the coffee table but he had the look of indifference.
"Underage drinking. I'm a naughty influence on Senri-kun" I stuck out my tongue and winked at Takuma. In return, he raised an eyebrow and smirked but said nothing as he continued reading his manga. I causally leaned over the coffee table to appear that I was grabbing a cookie when I was asking Senri if we should tell him or he'll tell him himself in my head. Senri sat up and replied he didn't mind.
"Actually, Takuma, there's another reason why we're in trouble," I mumbled, picking at my fingernail on my pointer finger.
"Oh and what's that?" He hummed while still reading his manga. He was reading Attack on Titan.
"Cassie and I made a love bond by accident." Senri finished what I was going to say. He could probably feel my anxiety from here.
Takuma shot his head up and closed his manga at the same time and stared at us with wide eyes. I actually had to snap my fingers in front of his eyes just to get him to stop spacing off.
"H-h-how is that possible? On accident? The act is very intentional, Senri." Takuma turned to his friend.
"We were drunk and after making out with each other," Senri blushed at my words, "I offered my blood to him, you see. Because once in a lifetime opportunity to have your crush who is a vampire suck your blood-"
"I accidentally bit my lip before biting her neck-"
"And I guess his blood got into my blood system and yeah we could see each other's memories-"
"I was swimming in her mind-"
"And now we can read each other's thoughts and feelings."
Okay, Takuma looks overwhelmed. And then I did it. I pulled the hangnail on my pointer finger and it started to bleed. Takuma began coughing and covered his nose trying not to verbally gag in front of me.
I glanced at Senri and his eyes grew bright red. Just before I went to wipe my finger on my leggings Senri walked over and very sensually licked my finger. I just about lost my soul right there. And in front of Takuma! The balls Senri has!
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TWO DOING?" Chaotic rounded the corner with October hot on his heels.
Senri formed another glowing purple light from his mouth and healed my finger. Sitting next to me now he looked annoyed at Chaotic's interruption.
"You know drinking blood is prohibited." October sneered as she pinched her nose. Such a kiss ass.
Also is the smell really that bad?
"It smells like strawberries to me." Senri sent his thoughts to me and placed his hand on my left knee.
"I had a hangnail that started bleeding, kiss ass." I hissed at her like a cat. I've been taking lessons from Onyx.
"Oh and you just so happened to be picking at it?" Chaotic put his hands on his hips. Really? The nagging is annoying. I think that was both our thoughts at the same time.
"We were telling Takuma what happened on Christmas eve and I was having anxiety so sorry for being human." I stood up and matched Chaotic's body posture, "now apologize to Senri for cursing at him. He's not used to how we talk to each other."
I was surprised to see Chaotic actually say sorry to Senri. Takuma apologized to me for gagging. And I admitted that I was now self conscious about my blood but Senri's thoughts made him seem happy that only he gets to enjoy the smell and taste of my blood. I think possessiveness runs in all vampires.

"Hey Yuuki, Zero! Are you guys just about done checking in the Day Class students?!" I shout from across the courtyard. I finished my check in for the Night Class students that arrived that afternoon. There's still a few more tonight that are arriving so I'll come back later for those.
"Just about!" Yuuki shouts back with her hand in the air, waving at me.
I skipped over with my clipboard tucked under my arm, "here give me a paper and I'll help." Zero wasn't acknowledging my existence like usual.
After helping them with the last of the Day Class students, we headed towards the Headmaster's office.
It was a breezy January day. My fading purple hair was blowing in the wind when suddenly a pale hand grabbed my hair.
"Did somebody bite you?" Zero growled and instantly I grabbed his right arm, pushing it up and away from my neck forcing him to let go of my hair.
"Who the fuck told you, you can touch me like that," I snarled and I aimed to push him away with my boot but he weaseled his way outta my grip.
"Who the fuck bit you. Drinking blood on school grounds is prohibited."
Jesus christ how many times can that be said in a month!
"It wasn't on school grounds! It wasn't even in Japan!" I cried out truly done with this discussion.
"You make me sick." And with that Zero stormed off towards the stables.
"Uhhh I'm confused, did somebody bite you, Cassie-chan?" Yuuki asked slowly.
"It was gentle and with consent Yuuki that's all you need to know."
"Being bitten was gentle?" She asked innocently, becoming lost in her thoughts.
"Yuuki, I have never been bitten before so I only had one experience but I would say that I hardly felt it and it was euphoric." I purred at her, my eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Did Shiki-san…?"
"..." I paused for a moment before squealing like a teenage girl. Oh wait, I am a teenage girl! "Yes! And we even kissed too!"
My goodness the way she blushed so hard would put Larry the Lobster from SpongeBob to shame.
Continuing our way to the Headmaster's she had a bunch of questions which I only answered some. She's still blushing hardcore however.
"I think that when they lick your neck before biting is a way to help numb the area. And then you know vampires can also heal with this purple light ball right?" I glanced down at her, "Right? Wait, you don't know!" I slapped my hands on my mouth. Did I say something I'm not supposed to?
"A purple light ball?" Her big eyes staring into mine with astonishment.
Might as well I guess. "Yeah I think only Level B and above vampires can do it. How did you think my arm healed up so quickly? Senri healed it."
"Shiki-san, really sounds like a nice guy."
"He looks indifferent to most things but I think he's a big ol cutie pie. Oh! Did you know he and Kaname are cousins?" I said opening the door to the office. Only to find Kaname and Headmaster talking at the desk. The way I almost shit myself. I'm sure he heard me talking about him because he has this knowing look in his eyes. If I act nervous I'll sure as shit get in trouble but if I own it maybe I'll be fine?
"Oh hi Kaname!"
"Kaname-sama! What are you doing here at this hour? Shouldn't you be asleep?" Yuuki said worriedly. Kaname smiles at her warmly and I continue heading towards our adopted father to hand him the check in lists so far.
As they talked, I signaled the Headmaster that I was going to leave when he told me to stay. Greeaat. I can see where this is going. Literally, because he tapped the side of his neck.
"Cassie helped us with the Day Class check in-"
"But Yuuki did most of the work-"
"Well Zero made sure everyone stayed in single file."
"My point exactly. You did most of the work while he just stood there." I snickered and lightly pushed her towards Kaname. Her crush on him is so cute.
"Keep up the amazing work, Yuuki." Kaname chuckled at her. Yuuki went back to blushing again.
Kaname made his exit and I told Yuuki I could handle the rest so she could leave with Kaname.
I glanced back at the Headmaster once they left the building, "aren't they a cute couple."
He laughed and said "speaking of couples". Guess I walked into that one.
"Senri and I are not a couple."
"That makes life harder for you two. You're eventually going to end up a couple. Why fight it off now?"
"We're not fighting it. We're just taking it slow I guess. Both of us had never dated before, much less in a relationship."
He blinked at me a few times before taking off his glasses and rubbing his eyes, "isn't that the same?"
"Huh uh no. Get with the times, old man! First there's dating and then you decide if you're gonna be in a relationship or at least that's what October says." I shrugged, placing my hands in the air. "What's your thoughts on the matter?"
"Well the deed is done so there's not much I can say."
"Do you think Senri is a good match for me?"
"He's a good student. He tackles a job and school work wonderfully. I just wish you two didn't jump into this so fast."
"Trust me, I think both of us wish that. I just feel bad because if it doesn't work out between us, his blood wouldn't taste good to other vampires. If he dates other vampires that is. And I wouldn't be able to date other vampires because of the blood situation. Takuma already gagged at the smell of my blood and that was with a hangnail. A hangnail!" I sat down in the chair and leaned over the desk with my head in my hands.
"Do you have doubts that it won't work out?"
"... no not really. I just don't think I'm good enough for him. I think Rima is more in his league." I admitted feeling worse that I said it outloud. Instead of it being a small voice in my head. The Headmaster is so easy to open up to.
"I think you're a beautiful young woman who is in the highest league." He said softly, smiling at me. It was cheesy but I'll give him this one.
"Thanks dad." I smiled brightly at him watching him tear up at the fact I called him dad. It's really nice to have these talks with him.

It was Sunday night and I was sitting on the couch down in the lobby with Takuma, Senri, and Rima with Onyx half on my lap and half on Rima's. October, Aidou, Ruka, and Candy Kain were sitting on the other side. Chaotic was laying down on the coffee table as a cat yet again.
So far I learned that if I just blasted music in my head Senri can't read my thoughts. Well unless they're loud enough but the mail slot technique is working just progressing slowly. I keep playing "Everytime We Touch" by Cascada in my head but everytime I do I picture Senri as the song plays out. And I can't stop the urge to dance.
"Okay someone play a catchy song so I can't stop singing Cascada in my head please." I groaned.
"Which one is it the touch one or bad boy?" October began searching on her phone.
"Oh play Satisfaction!" Chaotic stands up on the table and on his hind legs begins dancing "Push me. And then just touch me. Until I can get my satisfaction."
"This is my life." Senri said in his mind which sent me into a cough laughing fit.
"Ugh what kind of repulsive song is that?" Ruka said in disgust and the three of us gasped at her but didn't even bother to comment on it.
"Here, let's play Lindsey Stirling," October hands her phone over to me. She has a newer phone than I. "That way it's neutral. Crystalize is a great one to dance to." I typed it into spotify.
As the song starts out, Chaotic stepped off the table and transformed back into himself. He bowed towards October with his hand out asking for this dance. As the music picked up, the couple danced under the moonlight.
"Do you like to dance, Cassie?" Takuma chirped, leaning forward to grin at me. What the fuck is he plotting.
"I like swing dancing because it's fast and seems more romantic than the waltz. I loathe waltzing; it's so slow and boring." I groaned with my hands on my face and then turned back towards Takuma, "I had to learn how to dance when I was in London. We had to go to a couple soirées." I finished in a posh accent before breaking out into many giggles. "Plus I've been trying this new thing with swing. Like adding more gymnastics in it. I'm not very far though. I only just mastered the back flip and I've been using our training to put it into dance too."
"Show me what you got" he smirked as he stood up, hand out to me.
"I'll dance with you no problem but I'm not adding the fancy stuff in front of everyone." I grabbed his hand as the next song Shadows played. (A/N: i have no idea how to write dancing scenes so just listen to the songs and imagine two people dancing to that plz for reference https/t/ZTYEABk53/)
I'm surprised he kept up with the speed of the song and for someone who has never heard the song before he seemed like a pro at it. A lot of spins. By the time the song ended I was dizzy. And had to hold onto Takuma until I got back to normal.
I've we returned to the couch, Senri and Rima were nowhere to be seen. I figured Senri was going to tell Rima about the bonding so I didn't mind leaving them alone.
"You told me to go fast!" Takuma sniffled a laugh.
I giggled at him in return, "Oh no, I'm not complaining, that was amazing! Just need to remember I'm only human Taku-chan."
The couple were still dancing. They love to dance.
"You've gotten quite comfortable using their first names," Ruka tossed her hair back.
I stared blankly at her, "what's your point? That's what friends do. You wouldn't know since you don't have any." I couldn't help it. She just acts like she's better than anyone.
"Now Cassie-" Takuma started but Aidou interrupted him.
"BUAHAHA! She's right you have no friends!"
"You're the one to talk, Aidou!" Ruka resorts back but I gotta say that was a weak comeback.
"My, my, look at the trouble, you started." Takuma whispered in my left ear.
Technically, she started it but I finished it. "Hey let's go while they're arguing." I whispered back.
Upon entering my room, Onyx was in her cat tree rubbing on some catnip I left there earlier. I walked to my travel bookbag and took out some American sweets like a tootsie roll and threw it in Takuma's lap. He was sitting on my bed and still reading Attack on Titan. I sat on my bed opposite to him. Without even questioning what I threw at him he ate it. I like that I have this trust with Takuma. Just then, Senri walked out of his room and into mine. I hit the spot next to me on the bed to beckon him over.
He laid out on the other half of the queen size bed, "I told Rima."
"How'd she take it?" I questioned, anxiety rising inside me.
"Pretty well, just shocked. Thought I was dumb for doing something so stupid without stopping myself."
"Uhh, which part did she think was stupid?" I raised an eyebrow. Did she think the idea of me being bonded to Senri was stupid? I wonder if she does have feelings for him after all.
"It's not like that, Cassie." Dammit my thoughts are loud again. "The fact I bit my lip and then continued to bite you when I should've stopped." Ohh I see. "I felt it but paid no attention to it, gomen." he sighed and closed his eyes. My pillow is going to smell like him. I'm so excited. Then he looked at me with one eye and eyebrow raised.
"Hey no judging me. You smell good." My worry has gone away by now.
"You know it's confusing when you two read each other's thoughts and then answer out loud to each other." Takuma chuckled at us.
"Hey we can only do it to a handful of people Takuma, be grateful you're one of them" I laughed wholeheartedly. On nights like these I'll remember them forever.

Well that was interesting. I just got off a Skype call with my friend Spike. He lives in Seattle but is originally from Norway. He's called Spike because of his hair. I guess you would label him as a punk. I personally think he's a man whore but still a good friend. It's just weird because he never showed interest in me and now he asked me out on a date over Skype before my 17th birthday.
Today is the 14th. It's Saturday, two days before my birthday. I'm looking for October to tell her what just happened but she's not in her room so probably in the lobby.
As I'm walking down the last flight of stairs, I noticed Takuma wasn't present like usual but Senri, Rima, October, Chaotic, and Aidou were there. Crap.
"October, can I talk to you upstairs please." I begged, wanting to leave the lobby as soon as possible.
"I don't wanna. I'm going to paint Rima's nails after Chaotic is done with mine." Oh in my hurry I didn't notice that Chaotic was doing that.
Senri looked back at me with a pocky in his mouth. I quickly looked away from him.
"Ugh fine. Spike asked me out on a date."
I could hear Senri's pocky stick snap.
"Who the fuck is Spike?" Chaotic asked, not looking up from his work.
"He's a friend from Seattle. The thing is he's never shown any interest in me before and now he's asking me out."
October hummed and placed a dry fingernail to her lip, "did you ask why?"
"Duh of course I did because I'm suspicious. He's said before when I was attending the same school as him that he doesn't date. Indicating, he just fucks. But he made up this story about how I came so far from being a shy bookworm to the person I am today." I sat down in an empty chair between the two couches, still only looking at October. "I don't think it's a dare but I'm still unsure about it."
"Where would the date take place? Is he coming here?" She asked, fanning her other hand.
"No. We'd do it through a Skype call. I'd make spaghetti for myself and then we'll talk on Webcam-"
"That's not a date," Rima said, handing her right hand out towards October.
"I don't mind, I'm easily amused." I shrugged.
"What did you say?" Aidou asked curiously.
"I said yes, of course. I never been on a date before-"
"Get dressed, we're going to town." Senri cut me off and in the blink of an eye he was midway up the staircase. My eyes widen out of confusion. "C'mon it's already seven, restaurants start closing around nine."
I bolted upstairs to catch up to Senri.
Chaotic's POV*
Everything is going according to plan. I chuckled, causing the girls to look at me.
"What did you do?" My honey bunny asked me.
"Only what was necessary."
We watched Shiki and Cassie speed walk out the door. Cassie waved goodbye but Shiki was on his phone calling a driver.
"And what does that mean?" Aidou asked.
"I called up Caleb from Seattle asking if there was anyone that could possibly like Cassie. And that Cassie needed a date before her birthday because someone here hasn't asked her yet."
"Oh? Shiki-san likes Cassie?" He asked, causing my wife to stop painting.
"Are you serious? You haven't noticed this whole time? And you're supposed to be a boy genius!" She called him out. Tiny sparks were coming out of her right hand.
Aidou's ice started forming on the ground and his seat creeping towards the girls.
"Enough." I growled at Aidou and took my darling's hand, giving her a kiss.
"I hope they have a good date." Rima smiled gently at me.
Cassie's POV*
When we got into the car. I asked Senri where we're going again. He was taking me to a fancy sushi place in town where you can have all you can eat for a set price. I quickly got dressed into one of October's black dresses that hung from the side of my shoulders with my black skinny jeans.
Back at the dormitory when I finally caught up to Senri he was fuming with jealousy. Even now he was still angry.
I reached for his left hand and rubbed my thumb in circles on the back. He was very certain of taking me on my first date instead of Spike. A proper date. His thoughts made it very clear he didn't like Spike and was determined to show he's better suited for me.
"Stop reading my thoughts." His voice popped up in my head.
"I'm sorry to make you upset, Senri." I mumbled out loud with tears coming to my eyes. We aren't dating so why does he have such strong emotions about this.
He took his hand and rubbed my cheek, "I didn't mean to make you upset. Sorry about my attitude."
I lay my head on his shoulder breathing in his scent until we arrived at the restaurant. The hostess almost refused us, since the closing time was near, until Senri gave his name and she sat us in the VIP lounge.
"Wow look at Mr. Fancy Pants using his name." I teased, causing him to blush. We were sitting in a booth shaped as a U and had a wall separating the other booths. We're sitting opposite of each other. "Ya know we don't have to go to a fancy place. I'm happy spending anywhere with you Senri."
"You were going to spend a first date in the bathtub eating pasta. You deserve more than that Cassie." He says looking at the menu even though we already know what we're getting.
Once he ordered, plates began coming out and he even ordered king crab legs. I know in America a pound of that costs 50 bucks alone. I have a feeling he's spending more than he should on someone like me.
I finished the legs before moving onto the sushi. I'm not much of a cucumber or avocado fan but I didn't want to seem ungrateful.
Once we were full and I got better at my chopsticks, I asked if he wanted ice cream which would be my treat. He was amazed that I was still hungry but I explained that you always make room for dessert.
Suddenly I was feeling bold and I wrapped my legs around his. Playing footsie under the table was enough to make him cough.
"Senri, if you want, I can be your dessert." I winked at him. I was fighting my own blush and used a napkin to wipe my mouth. Hopefully the blush wasn't that obvious.
Through his own blush he mentioned that I shouldn't tease him.
"Oh I'm serious. Are there any vampires in the restaurant? I didn't sense any."
"None. But here?"
"We can't do it at school. Where else we gonna go? A hotel? Because that doesn't look wrong."
Senri's blush reached his ears and calls for the driver to guard the booth. The driver was human but I think he knows about vampires.
Senri slid over to me and asked if I was sure.
"Yes, besides I've been studying the book Kaname gave me and it said that as long as you don't exchange blood with me the distance won't increase so we're good. Everything will be okay."
"I don't want to hurt you."
"You didn't, it felt amazing last time." I kissed his cheek.
He brushed my hair out of the way and began kissing my neck before finding a spot that made me breathe out his name. Licking at the area he gently sinks his teeth in and I'm in heaven again. This pleasure is so addicting I want more of it. Facing him, I placed my hand on his neck pulling him closer to which he moaned.
In my head I can't help but think of the date tomorrow. Maybe I should cancel it or just make it a hangout instead.
When a grunt cuts through my mind, "Think only of me when I'm drinking your blood." I replied with a memory of seeing a shirtless Senri from a magazine.
When he stopped and healed up my wound. He whispered, "You're my strawberry," and playfully bit my ear which caused me to moan out that I was his.
After he paid for supper or well, breakfast in our case. We made our way to a 24/7 ice cream parlor. It was based on a western style parlor so I was happy they had cookies and cream. He had a small matcha ice cream cone.
Once we were settled at the counter, I suggested if he wanted to taste mine and vice versa but when I went to lick his I made it seductively as possible to get back at the whole licking my finger thing. His blush could have competed with Yuuki's.
"What did I say about teasing?"
"I'm an innocent little angel, Senri. Whatever do you mean?"
Suddenly, I felt a chill go up my spine. Somebody's watching us. I look around the room before glancing outside. It was obviously already dark but I could only see the reflection from inside. I thought I saw someone in a long jacket but once I blinked they were gone.
"We were being watched," I said slowly, "we should leave soon."
"Let's go now."
I linked arms with him as we walked out towards the car. It was chilly, just not as cold as Nebraska.
Thankfully, without any interruptions, we made it back to school in one piece. As we were walking through the Moon Dormitory Gates, I couldn't help but be amazed at how the moonlight danced across Senri's skin and hair. He seemed too beautiful at that moment.
"I believe I should be saying that to you." he smiles at me. I am so happy that I made him smile, that I fist the air.
"I smiled before."
"No you've smirked at me before but nothing like this cute smile." I pinched his cheek. "Thank you for today by the way. It was lovely spending time with just you, Senri." I smiled down at him brightly because I am taller than him.
"Happy early birthday Cassie-chan" he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer before kissing me on the lips.
Yeah definitely gonna cancel that date tomorrow.

"So you blow me off for a guy that you don't even know you're dating. Wow Cassie, that's a new low." Spike howled with laughter causing me to lower the volume on the laptop.
I did cancel the date but I decided to hang out with him instead. "We haven't discussed it yet! If you're going to be rude I'll hang up."
"Okay okay," he chuckled, "answer me this. You went on a date yesterday right? Because he didn't want me to take you on a date first. Did you kiss? Have sex? Flirted?"
"What are you getting at? And no, I'm still a virgin!" I walked over to the door and shut it.
"Everything you guys did is basically dating. You should be happy! But if he says that you're still just friends, dump him, he's just using you. Take it from a guy like me, Cassie. I know what I'm talking about. Anyways I gotta go have a good night and happy birthday!" Spike hung up.
I never thought of Senri using me before. I guess I would make a good blood bank for him. Especially, since he's stuck with me for life. However, I have a feeling that if he was near me he wouldn't like that thought.
Last night after we got back and I was dressed in my pjs, Aidou saw my neck and apparently I also have a hickey on top of the bite marks. And called me out on Senri drinking from me. In front of everyone in the lobby. Did I mention in front of everyone, even Kaname! All I had to say for myself was that it wasn't on school property and I ran upstairs. I've been upstairs since. I don't understand why Aidou can't keep his mouth shut and like try to use it for blackmail like a normal person. But he's such a kiss ass to Kaname that I should've expected this.
Chaotic didn't get mad after I showed him the book where it mentions the blood exchange. He told me to just be careful. And Kaname hasn't approached me so I guess I'm okay there.
Walking outta my room, I headed straight for Senri's room when Ducky catcalled me. Here we go.
"So if I take you out on a date do I also get to drink from you too?" Ducky brushed his hand against my neck. I'm getting sick and tired of unwanted people touching me. I suddenly grabbed his arm and used my body to help launch him over my back and onto the floor. By the time he stood up, I had already whipped out my katana.
"You little bitch." Ducky's eyes glowed red.
"You have no right to my blood." I hissed, putting myself in a fighting position like Takuma taught me. Speaking of the devil, Takuma came up from behind me and stood to my right and Kaname stood to my left. They're both saving my ass.
"That's enough. Hideki, come with me." Kaname spoke calmly but the atmosphere around him was suffocating.
My katana switched back into a switchblade and I placed it back in my pocket.
"Can you explain what happened, Cassie?" Takuma asked, slightly uncomfortable.
"I was heading towards Senri's room when Ducky stopped me and touched my neck. He was mocking me about going on a date and then getting to drink my blood. And then I flipped him over my body. Did you like my posture, Takuma?"
He sighed, "I did like your posture yes but you need to be careful who you pick fights with. You're technically still a novice at fighting, Cassie."
"I see, I'm sorry for worrying you." I bowed low before standing back up.
He smiles before adding, "I really thought it was cool how you whipped out your sword. I thought I was watching an anime." He walked me to Senri's room before walking back to Kaname's room.
I knock on the door before coming in only to find a sleeping Senri. Gently closing his door, I paused outside his room. I'm trying to decide if I should join the others downstairs or go back to my room. I don't want to disturb him. But before I could take a step the door opened behind me and all I could think about at that moment was Spike's words about how he's using me.
"Excuse me? Using you? What?" Senri stepped aside letting me in and I replayed the discussion I had with Spike earlier to Senri's mind.
"I really don't like him." He growled under his breath. "You have enough insecurities, you don't need one about me liking you." We laid on his bed, him on his back and me on my side.
"He means well he just has a certain way of saying things without thinking how it would affect others." I said placing my head on his left shoulder. I blew cold air on his neck. "So what are we-"
"Dating. We don't need no confusion over that. I want to be with you, Cassie."
I kissed his forehead as a response, "best birthday present ever and a sexy one," I joked, placing my left hand over his chest.
He hummed and closed his eyes.
However, I was still in a playful mood. Ever so slowly, I inched forward and lightly bit his neck.
"What are you doing?" He chuckled, pulling me on top of him so I was straddling his lap.
"What are you doing you pervert," I giggled leaning forward slightly grinding down on him.
"I thought I told you not to tease me."
"Oh yeah? What are you going to do about-" I couldn't finish my sentence because I was flipped underneath Senri. Staring up at him with wide eyes I commented how I should tease him more often.
His eyes glowed red and he nuzzled his way into the crook of my neck and whispered that I'll regret that. Ever so slightly he began kissing my neck, which turned to licking and just when I couldn't handle it anymore, he dragged his fangs across my neck. He was right. I do regret teasing him because I want him to drink from me so bad. He groaned in my ear when I said that in my mind. However, I think he's teasing himself.
Lifting my legs, I hugged his waist and pulled him closer to me. Doesn't help that he was wearing sweat pants so I could feel everything. Moaning his name, I couldn't help but beg him to drink from me. He growled in my ear and bit at my earlobe not enough to break skin but enough to send me overboard.
I squealed and tightened my grip around his waist when Takuma walked in.
"Cassie, I need a statement- oh my god!" He covered his eyes and face with a piece of paper.
Senri tries to get up but seeing how we're tangled up he ends up losing his balance and rolls off the bed with me coming down on top of him.
"Takuma Ichijou, have you ever heard of knocking?!" I cried from the floor, super embarrassed as I jumped up landing on the bed with Senri following suit.
"I'm sorry the door wasn't locked so I thought it was okay to enter. I'll never do it again!" I can't see his face but I can tell that his ears are red. "I'll just leave!" he went to turn around but then knocked into the door with his head.
"Takuma, what do you want, what's with the paper?" I said exasperated. Senri is blushing so red and he won't make eye contact with anyone.
"I wanted a statement about what happened with Hideki."
"What happened with Hideki-san?" Senri asked, looking at Takuma. I quickly played the event in my head for Senri and he got pissed. "And you didn't think to tell me about this first?"
"No, because me asking if we were dating or not seemed much more important than Ducky being a dumbass."
"He placed his hand near your neck. His fingertips touched your neck." Senri snarled not directly at me but because of the situation.
"Did his fingers touch you?" Takuma asked writing something down on the paper.
"Yeah but I don't see what the big deal is. I'm just tired of people touching me."
Senri stared at me in bewilderment, "Cassie, he could have cut you with his nails. I'm not worried about the bonding being let out, I'm worried for your safety." Oh that makes sense.
"Oh I see I'm sorry but I'm okay," I walked over to Senri and touched his hand, "next time something happens I'll tell you."
"Let's hope nothing happens again." Takuma said with a serious expression. And then he looked towards us with a shit eating grin, "so you two are dating now?"
I returned the grin and casually said, "Oh no I just let guys climb on top of me all the time Takuma. Yes we're dating now" I laughed at both of their faces.
"I'm so happy for both of you."

It was switchover time on Monday evening and the Day Class girls and some boys were just starting to gather at the gate. As Yuuki, Zero and I managed them into two rows, Alex came up to me and gave me a one sided hug. "Happy Birthday, birthday girl! Too bad it's a Monday. We could go out to celebrate but you have class, boo. The twins were talking about coming to visit you but I'm surprised they didn't show up."
I raised my eyebrow at him, "you tell them to stay put. It's not worth it for them to come all the way from Cali to here for one day."
Some of the girls that were listening to our conversation and were actually decent wished me a happy birthday. I was surprised but thanked them anyway.
"Alex the gates are about to open, you need to leave the path please." The screaming began as the gates creaked open.
October and Aidou were the first ones out. They have been spending a lot of time together in the lobby lately. They might get pissed at each other every now and then but I think they enjoy each other's company.
Recently, Alex has told me that there's some boys who are crushing over October and I've told her but I think it's gone to her head. She waves at the group of boys now definitely liking the attention just like Aidou.
Senri and Rima were in the back of the group so they could wait for me to catch up. However as this routine started, a new routine started with the Senri fangirls. They would wait until I either leave with them which isn't supposed to happen because I can only get to class once they all left. I unfortunately had to tell them to not wait for me.
"Hey after 4th block when I come out to patrol, how about you guys hit the sack? You both look horrible." I told Yuuki and Zero. Yuuki looked worried because I'm still new to patrolling but thanked me. Zero, on the other hand, grunted and walked off, still not really talking to me. Even at the little birthday get together that Headmaster had for me after the two got outta class, he still hardly acknowledged me. I mean, what's done is done. He just needs to get over it.
Running up to the school, Senri and Rima were waiting for me as I entered. "I'm sorry about that guys, those girls learn to adapt to any situation."
"That's okay, just happy you didn't get shoved around today." Rima smiled and Senri nodded.
"Senri, how come in the mirror I can't see the bite marks but everyone else can?" I asked in my mind.
"Vampires can see the scars, even if we heal the wound. I can even see the scars on your arm from the attack when humans can't." He replied in my mind.
"What about vampire hunters?" I asked, remembering that Zero could see the bite marks.
"I'm not sure. Never had the chance to ask one."

It was early Saturday morning, and everyone just got done with class and most of us were either headed towards the kitchen or to bed. I was about to go to Aidou for tutoring when I received a phone call from the Headmaster that I have some guests waiting for me at his house and I should come over soon. I quickly told Aidou that I'll be skipping this session because of the unknown guests. I didn't bother changing out of my uniform thinking I'll return soon enough. Senri was cleaning the lobby and I told him I was heading out.
With a kiss goodbye, I bolted out the door and ran most of the way there. Ever since Kaname has me running around the dormitory my stamina has been getting better.
On the way over, I worried it was Kaito and Yagari-san. I don't have the patience to deal with Kaito tonight err well day I mean.
Upon entering the entrance way, I could hear two familiar voices.
"Are you serious? I told Alex to tell you two to stay home." I looked at the twins and then to a yawning Alex, "what good are you?" I yawned back.
"SURPRISE!"
"UGH it's four in the morning, shut up both of you." I gave Hayden and then Aiden a hug.
"Your father agreed to let us bring you to Tokyo today!" Aiden cheered. Honestly, how is he not jetlagged?
So the plan was that Hayden has a business deal with an old friend of his in Tokyo this morning. They arrived yesterday but had to catch up on sleep. Hence why they're having the business deal today. And it just so happens to be my birthday week so they wanted to celebrate with me. Alex is coming along because they requested him too. I was also just told that I can sleep on the train so that's just cute. A two hour nap with a full day ahead of us. Great.
We got to the train station just in time to quickly board. Alex snoozed off before the train took off. He was sitting with Hayden and I was sitting on the other side with Aiden.
The twins are 6'2 and naturally have dark brown hair, with deep blue eyes. Hayden now has dark blue hair. He's a bit of a man whore but he's a great business man for a 17 year old. Aiden has black hair with dark purple highlights. He's more on the artistic side of things he loves creating music and helping others learn how to play instruments. Hell one of the businesses that Hayden owns is a chain of music shops that teaches people how to play instruments, along with selling instruments you can also rent out the recording studio to make your own cds. It's in major cities across the US and soon England too. I guess if you had to label the twins they would be emo.
Falling asleep on the train was surprisingly relaxing. However, just when I began dreaming I was being told to wake up. I don't really understand how to navigate through Tokyo but the twins do so Alex and I just trusted them. We eventually got a taxi and went to this fancy place called Hakushū Teppanyaki. I guess they're well known for their steaks. I just know I'm gonna try their Wagyu Beef.
We were directed towards the VIP lounge to another U shaped booth. Where there was a boy who had short black hair and thin glasses who got up from the table. He was Japanese and was wearing a suit and tie while Hayden was dressed more casual. Hayden said his greetings in Japanese before introducing us in English.
"Of course you remember my brother. And these are our childhood friends, Alex Emerson and Cassie Leach." Then he introduced the boy as Kyoya Ootori. Where have I heard that name before? Apparently, Ootori-san's family owns hospitals and the meeting today was to get some type of music therapy to help comfort the patients. I'm not sure. I'm barely awake at this point.
"Ootori-san, are you in high school?" I asked once they were done talking business. He was a cutie but looked younger than me.
"Yes, I attend Ouran Academy as a first year." he replied oh so formally. Ouran?
I looked at Hayden with wide eyes. "He goes to school with Scotty and Touma-kun?"
"Yes I'm actually in the same class as Touma-san. Are you referring to Kenzo-san as 'Scotty'?" Kyoya-san asked politely. Why is he so formal with us even Hayden isn't being formal anymore.
"We've been calling Scotty his nickname for so long, I almost forgot his real name." I giggled and tucked a strand of hair behind my left ear.
Hayden explained to Kyoya-san how the elder cousins of the Anderson family came up with Scotty's nickname and that he was supposed to refer to himself as such so the fact that he hasn't means he's in trouble.
"Where do you two attend school?" Kyo-chan asked. I can't help but say his name like that in my head.
Alex was wearing his normal street clothes while I was in my uniform.
"We go to Cross Academy. Alex is in the Day Class. And I'm the Night Class's Prefect." I pointed at the sleeve on my arm.
"You actually attend school at night?"
"Yes, hence the bags under my eyes," I laughed as I pointed at my face, "the twins popped up when I was about to get a tutor lesson before bed."
"See we saved you." Aiden laughed.
"Actually, I enjoy being tutored by Aidou, he's a great teacher." I shrugged.
"Your uniforms are very elegant."
"Aw thanks Kyo-chan!" Why the fuck did I call him that? Oh well better change the subject. "The Day Class has a black uniform compared to my white one. But haven worn both I prefer the Night Class one. I think it makes me look cute." I giggled and Alex rolled his eyes. "What's also pretty cool is the fact under our buttons are our initials."
"Wait really?" Alex coughed out having choked on his drink.
"Yeah how have you not paid attention?" Now was my turn to roll my eyes at him.
"I don't have a lot of free time to be staring at buttons."
My left eyebrow twitched and I snarled under my breath, "Are you insinuating that I do?" I glared at him.
"Apparently, since you have time to look at buttons." he said matter of factly with his hands on his hips.
I'm gonna fucking kill him.
"Why do you think I haven't been attending your lunches? I'm either sleeping or training with Takuma-"
"Oh I thought you were sleeping with your boyfriend."
I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL HIM.
The silence around us was palpable. You could probably hear a pin drop.
Suddenly chaos broke out when I tried to bolt from the middle of the booth to attempt to smack the shit outta him. Aiden got in my way however and Hayden raised his voice.
"Excuse me? What boyfriend?"
"You're dead. I literally know where you sleep!" I snarled at Alex before politely turning to Hayden. "I don't have a boyfriend, we just started dating." I spoke calmly because I remembered we have a guest at the table.
"Same thing." Hayden narrowed his eyes and put his hands on his hips demanding to know more.
"It is not, they're in the dating phase." Aiden rolled his eyes at his brother.
"Whatever, that's not important. What's important is the fact you didn't tell us and that we could've met him when we were there this morning."
I sighed angrily pulling out my phone to type in Senri's full name and most of if not all of his jobs popped up on Google. Even fan clubs. And I slid my phone over towards the twins. "His name is Senri Shiki, he's a professional model here in Japan. And he's in the same grade as me (2nd year). And you two don't need to meet him because you'll scare him away."
"I won't scare him away, I just want to make sure he has good intentions with my little sister." Hayden spoke in a bad Russian accent and cracked his knuckles. I deadpanned at him.
"He's cute I'll give you that. Has he modeled for Aunt Emelia yet?" Aiden grabbed my phone and began going through my photos without my permission.
"No not yet, she needs to have a show in Tokyo first."
"Oh so he's using you?" Hayden scoffed.
"What? No he's not using me!"
"I'm sure he could get the job on his own. He's very good. Maroon hair with light blue eyes? That's a rarity." Aiden found a picture with me, Takuma and Senri, "who's the blonde?"
"Oh that's Taku-chan" Alex cooed in a high pitched voice.
Kicking his shin under the table I suddenly felt a lot better.
"Why does he have fan clubs? I don't get it." Hayden asked, going on Google on his phone.
"Trust me, he has fangirls at switchover." I said in a monotone voice. "He can't even wait for me to go to class until he's in the school building because the girls won't leave until he does."
"Oh so he keeps your relationship private from them?" Hayden went back to cracking his other knuckles.
"Yes! Because remember the video Alex sent of the girls attacking me when Aidou danced with me? They're fucking crazy and will attack me. But everyone else in the Night Class knows I'm dating him! And you stop cracking your knuckles, you ain't gonna do shit to Senri. And is this really the topic we should be discussing in front of Kyoya-san?"
Everyone seemed to have forgotten that he was there. Hayden apologized to Kyoya and Aiden comforted me while I had my head in my hands. I was so embarrassed. This is why I didn't tell them because I didn't know how to tell them without them reacting like a babbling, bumbling band of baboons.

Kyo-chan actually hung out with us after the restaurant. It almost seemed like him and Hayden were the parents of the three of us. They took us to an aquarium called Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa and we just got to the underwater tunnel area.
"It's like Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo, just longer," I said looking up in amazement at the stingrays and fish.
"I knew you'd like it," Hayden smiled at me gently.
"This would be a great place to take someone out on a date," Aiden nudged my shoulder.
"He should be taking her out on dates, not the other way around." Hayden rolled his eyes at his brother.
"He took me on a date last Saturday night." I said slightly offended by the gender roles, "it was neat he used his name to get us in this fancy sushi restaurant."
"That's called reservations, hun." Alex said sarcastically.
"No, it was unplanned." I spun around to face them, "he's an Elite like you guys." I said looking at the twins and Kyoya. Alex not so much.
"I hate when she calls us that." Aiden crossed his arms against his chest. "Ever since you stayed the summer in London you've been referring to us like that."
"But it's true. There's high class and then there's the Elite. The Marchioness of Midford taught me that."
"She's right." Kyoya spoke up, "The Elite is a separate class of their own."
"See, he gets it. I'm from a small town in Nebraska. I met the twins at a park by my house when I was five. Thanks to their older cousin Maddie. Compared to you guys I'm probably low class." I said looking back at the giant fishy in front of me.
"Cassie, don't say that-"
"It's true. But at least I know how to attend soirées." I grinned back at them, "Oh did I tell you I met the Queen a few weeks ago!"
"How?!" Aiden asked with wide eyes that disappeared behind his bangs.
"Sammy boi painted a landscape picture for her and when he went to give it to her over tea time he invited me with. I was scared at first because you know proper stuff isn't my forte but she was really nice to talk to. However, she thought Sammy boi and I would make a great couple," I physically cringed. "She invited me back when I'm in London next time."
"You're not giving us all the details." Hayden said suspiciously.
"Well she was crying because she missed her late husband and I was worried about her so I placed my hand on top of hers to help calm her down and it worked. She says my heart is pure~!" I skipped off down the tunnel and onto the next exhibit.
"I call bull!" Alex said, running after me.
"I can see it." Aiden glanced at his twin and Kyoya before joining us in the next exhibit.

By the time we were done hanging out in Tokyo and we're planning on heading back to Cross Academy, Kyoya said his goodbyes. I slipped up a few times by calling him Kyo-chan. He only looked slightly annoyed but by the fourth time his expression was neutral. He welcomed us back to visit him sometime and then we watched as he got into his driver's car. It was nice hanging out with him because awhile he started loosening up and actually truly laughed a few times. Not that I was studying him or anything.
Upon entering the bullet train back to the town of Cross Academy. I sensed that there were a few vampires on board but they paid no attention, only to themselves. However, just in case I stayed awake this time. Two hours flew by with no action thankfully.
Arriving into town and then waiting by the taxi lane, I spotted a familiar ashy brown hair in a long brown trench coat. Turning erruptly, I tried to aggressively flag down a taxi but to no avail. As fate would have it, I came face to face with Kaito.
"My, look what the cat dragged in!" Kaito called out, slandering over to me and the boys. Alex recognized him immediately and went on high alert quickly informing the twins on what Kaito did to me last time.
Pushing past the trio I met Kaito head on, "why do I keep running into you? Are you obsessed with me or something?" I looked back at the boys and told them to stay. And headed over to Kaito, slightly pulling his left arm until he turned 180.
"They can read lips," I said as I covered my mouth for a second to itch my nose.
"At least you're not hanging out with vampires for once. And no I'm not obsessed with you. I guess it's fate."
"Sure, it's just a coincidence. Whatever. What do you want?" I asked while crossing my arms over my chest. It's colder than usual outside.
"I'm gonna say something and I don't want you to interrupt me." Kaito sighed and glanced to the side, probably checking on the position of the three stooges. "I want to apologize for how I acted the last time we saw each other." Wow. I have a feeling that Kaito doesn't apologize a lot. "Everyone reacts to their first kill differently. I'm used to others treating it as a celebratory thing. And you had a point to what you said. But when you're fighting for your life you can't think like that because you would be the one to end up dead." I gulped. I hadn't thought of that perspective either. "Oh and the sensations will eventually go away." Kaito placed his hand on my shoulder and stepped closer. "Is Cross training you?"
"Takuma is." I cleared my throat.
"Of course a vampire would. If I had more free time I would train you."
I cocked my head side to side and glanced at the floor. I can't believe I'm doing this. "Do you want my number so when you come to the academy you can give me a call so I can train with you for a bit? I want to get stronger."
Kaito glanced down at me surprised and agreed. I texted him my number and called just to make sure. I have a feeling Chaotic is going to be pissed with me.
"Thank you Kaito!" I smiled brightly at him before returning to my friends. Alex was pissed because he wanted to get in a fight with that guy because of last time. But I wasn't having it and finally flagged down a taxi.

"Oh come on if we go visit him in the Moon Dormitory we can see him in his natural habitat!" Alex explained looking at the Headmaster, the twins and me. We just got back from the cab ride and the twins want to go meet Senri at the Moon Dormitories. At least that's what Alex talked them into.
"He's not some animal that you're seeing at the zoo!" I spat getting pissed off on how he worded it. "It'll be easier for Chaotic, October and Senri to come here to the Headmaster's house since the twins are staying here for the night. There's absolutely no reason for you, exclusively you, to go into the Moon Dormitories. It's against the rules for a Day Class student to step foot inside our gate."
"Okay but the twins aren't part of the Day-"
"Absolutely not. I have classmates who are probably in their pjs and don't want strangers looking at them in their said pjs." I was having none of this and the Headmaster looked proud at me for standing my ground.
"Alex it's okay we can wait for them to-"
"They shouldn't be in the pjs if you guys are up all night."
"I'm not going to violate my friends' privacy just because you want things to gossip about to the Day Class boys." I glared down at him. "Keep this up and I'm writing you up for detention."
"For what?!" Alex screeched and then turned towards the Headmaster for help.
"I'll write you up myself if you don't stop pushing the subject. Now you can either wait here for the others or go back to your dorm." The Headmaster spoke.
Alex chose to leave. He was upset that I called him out on his gossip points.
"Wow a strict Cassie is a sexy Cassie."
"Shut the fuck up Hayden. I don't like it that he's mad at me." I plopped myself down in a chair
"He'll get over it, his anger never lasts for that long."
Just then there was a knock at the door. Chaotic and October entered first followed by Senri and Takuma and Rima. Aww how thoughtful that they were here for Senri as he faced the twins.
The twins stood up and greated Chaotic and October. October came over and pinched Aiden's cheeks like she always did since we were kids.
Then I introduce the twins, "These are the twins, Hayden and Aiden." I pointed to each one and they gave a slight greeting before turning towards the three musketeers. "This is Rima, Takuma, and Senri."
Hayden was still sizing up Senri when the trio greeted the twins in their own way. The twins stepped forward and singled out Senri. Slithering around him as if they were snakes. They were asking basic questions from how old he is, to where he lives when he's not here, to what he does for a living when they already bloody well know that!
I walked over to Takuma and Rima and apologized on the twins behalf for their strange behavior.
"No, it's great to have siblings to be so protective of you." Takuma chuckled, earning a bonus point to the twins in Senri's favor.
I hooked my arm with Senri asking him in my mind if he was alright. He said that he was fine and that he had more aggressive interviewers for magazines.
I let go and headed for the table in the corner where Chaotic and October were already sitting. Everyone else followed me, even the Headmaster. He was clearly enjoying this interaction.
It was getting towards the end of the questions when Hayden just had to open his big mouth, "I see you don't express much emotions are you sure you can handle Cassie's emotions? She's bipolar."
"HAYDEN MATHEW ANDERSON" I barked standing from my seat. Why does he have to bring up my mental illness like that? But before I could finish my sentence Zero and Yuuki walked through the door.
"Done with patrol, Headmaster! What's for- oh?" Yuuki stopped staring wide-eyed at the group.
Aiden popped up and greeted Yuuki. Hayden and Zero greeted each other like long lost friends confusing everyone in the room.
"Are we done here?" I asked Hayden. He and Aiden gave a thumbs up towards me and Senri before continuing to talk to Zero and Yuuki. "I'm gonna go to bed." I bowed my head at the Headmaster rather dramatically and stood straight up.
"I have supper cooking in the next room." He pouted.
"I'll have to take a rain check. I only had two hours of sleep today."
"We'll stay for supper Headmaster!" October chirped already drooling at the smell of the roast.
Takuma, Rima, and Senri walked back with me to the dorms.
"Again, I want to apologize for them."
"It's okay Cassie, it shows that they love you very much." Rima smiled up at me, easing my worries away.
"Well thank you guys for being there for Senri, you added many bonus points in his favor just by being there for him."
"Anything for our Senri." Takuma laughed as he side-hugged him. I'm happy that we can have great friends like these.
Taking two steps at a time I ran upstairs to my bedroom and once I left the bathroom dressed in a loose band tee, booty shorts with thigh high socks, I sunk into bed with Senri. He wasn't tired but I was definitely going to bed. I replaying everything that happened today in my head to Senri instead of explaining everything out loud because that takes too much time. This would be easier if he could drink my blood but no can't do that on school grounds I huffed.
"I like how you're more disappointed about the blood drinking than I am." Senri sent back, you could hear a chuckle in his tone.
I whined out loud and hugged him closer to me, "it's so much faster to send memories when you're drinking my blood." I mumbled with a pout while rubbing my eyes.
Just then I received a kiss at my temple. I glanced up at Senri, while he still had an expressionless face he had so much emotion in his eyes, maybe even love? But it was still early to tell. I'll happily wait until he's ready.
