~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 20: The Onyx Primitive Crag ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

/Large sheets of rain and hail, continue to pour down upon the snow-drift tipped landscape. As long, highly detailed tunnels stretch out under the basin in both directions which get larger as they get closer to the base of the cliffs. Up high above the Icy woodland tundra, you find a structure which is not able to be seen from either aerial view or when hiking the nearby jungle. It lies directly past the Cliffside Labs as well as the Gardenside Laboratory and Ice shore river, and the structure seemingly goes straight up for miles. This is the rocky, rough formation that seemed to have been crafted here by the Native people of this Island many generations ago. It is so extreme on the surface because it is much closer to the heated cores of the volcanoes. Legends have been passed down over the years as to why it is so dangerous and rocky in this side of the outcropping, as some of the cliffs are so jagged you can't see the top either.*

/They call this region the Onyx Primitive Crag, and it is directly on the most eastern side of the massive Island known as Isla Muerta. It is located around 90 miles due east from the basin of the first volcano, and at least 50 miles from the lethal Icy Woodlands and widening swamp. This terrain however is not easily spotted, and is incredibly treacherous to navigate as you seemingly can't get inside by way of normal caves. The Crag extends straight out of a cliff face instead, with deep tunnels that appear to go deep inside the complex and loop back around to enter a large dark tunnel system. Within the tunnels are many formations of rocks, limestone and extremely dangerous stalagmites which hang perilously above one's head with no guarantee they will stay intact or fall straight down. The Onyx Crag is home to many a species, including dark boa constrictor snakes, hybrid Dinosaurs and gigantic subterranean slugs making it one of the most inhospitable cavern systems found inside a Cliff structure on any Island. This is the hidden region which is covered in sharp, distinctive rocks which crop up from the formation without warning or reason. It is where you need to strain your eyes to look over the canopy at the horizon so you can see the hundreds of ledges and mountain crop formation that rises up across the ridge. Inside the east tunnel is a chasm that crosses the rugged rocks which construct the peak, and the arches each stretch across in both directions to meet the apex in the middle. This is also where the massive Voya Quetzalcoatlus and Viso Dimorphodon make their official hunting ground, as some of the cliffs stretch upwards for miles without so much as a single opening displayed along the edge.*

/There is no side entrance to speak of, nor is there any climbable partition to enter the most secluded area yet that extends outward from the Volcanoes of Isla Muerta at dusk. This area is entirely devoid of secret entrances or ravines, making it a struggle by any stretch of metric to climb and navigate. However, with the entire east Jungle so far outside the peninsula at night to the point it directly faces the moonlit mountains…that's not really a problem for this Crag formation at all. This is considered by most accounts, to be more dangerous than Mount Everest and a longer stretch of climb than even the North Appalachian Mountain peaks…yet in spite of all this, our explorers wish to brave the danger and ascend straight up its face. As Owen, Muldoon and Diego come outside the other end of the third floor that reaches out from the Garden view laboratory, they stare on in awe at the massive Onyx Crag which faces them from the western slope. None of them can believe their eyes, as in no other area have they ever encountered such a massive Crag as what lies before them. Yet they approach it with caution and enhanced anticipation, as they recognize this may be the big break they've all been looking for. Just then, Diego outstretches his hand to touch the side of a large slab of rock jutting out from the mountain crag and feels it with his right palm. He caresses the vertical inclines, and the small bumps that fall in and out of the giant rugged structure. It is in that moment that they realize they will need to scale this Crag somehow, yet the reality is unlike the mountain pass…there does not appear to be any trails. Right then, they are finally realizing it will be necessary to walk straight up the face of this cliff which sticks out…until it at one point reaches and elevates to the very top. Without climbing gear, it will prove nearly impossible to make the climb on this rocky Crag. Upon the very top of this structure, also appears to be an important building that leads to freedom. As Muldoon looks upon it with hesitation, he recognizes for the first time the danger they are in…since nowhere before has he seen anything approaching this, especially on Isla Sorna which is filled with mostly hilly mountains as well as a few cliff-side structures. This area on the other hand is extremely unusual, and dangerous….since the Onyx Crag appears to also link into the volcano…and the surface terrain extends upwards for a minimum of 8 miles. They will have to somehow traverse this, if they wish to stop Biosyn and discover the secrets of the Island of Site C…yet Muldoon knows in that moment that this destiny awaiting them is exactly what will be fulfilled.*

Muldoon: "I've bloody never seen anything like this before in my life…."

Diego: "This is unbelievable, hombre….Do you think some of those Mastodons and Ice animals are hiding inside the crevices of that place too!?"

Muldoon: "I think so…..and bloody hell, that area at the top is where we'll find the Hatchery if there is one. And also where the schematics for Site C are clearly housed, so somehow we got to make it up."

Owen: "Forget it, Robert…I'm a climber but I'm no professional Rock Face Repeller. This is not what I signed up for at all….Claire and I will go back in the Northern end of the Laboratory, she thinks she found a computer….maybe we can find a map or something of use inside there and regroup…"

Claire: "That place sure looks like a lot safer of a bet for now…..Let's see what is in the northern Annex of the Lab, that's my first bet anyways…"

Muldoon: "Forget it folks, I know how bloody awful this situation looks. But we can make it…..if Diego gets out the climbing gear, we should have enough hand holds to navigate this Crag…and destroy the Hybrid Dinosaurs waiting inside its eastern cave along the way, even if it's the Archaeopteryx.."

Muldoon: "Just have some patience here…I'm thinking.."

Diego: "I hope you're bloody thinking a lot faster, Roberto! I can hear something growing in the western cave over there….I bet Biosyn constructed some kind of underground tunnel system here."

Diego: "Roberto we need to get out of here now…Andale! I don't wish to stay anywhere near this Crag, let's either start climbing up and get out or find a way around it…"

Muldoon: "There is no way around it, Diego! Just give me a moment….At the top of this towering rock formation is probably some of the original contents for the Spinosaurus…We have to make this climb."

Owen: "We don't have a choice, you mean!? Why did it have to be giant sharp rocks.."

Muldoon: "It sure looks that way….For sure, from here… And this is why I'm glad I found an extra hook-shot in the supply closet earlier."

Diego: "I can't believe this….one of us is going to die here, I'm ready hermano…Let's get climbing…"

Muldoon: "I'm figuring out a plan for that…in any advent, we need to get going straight up soon."

Claire: "O.k, while you guys figure it out…Owen and I are going indoors to check the generator room. I keep feeling like we're missing something, so we should split up for a bit.."

Owen: "That's a great idea Claire…I saw something moving and swirling a lot in the Eastern corridor…I believe there should be an answer as to what they left roaming in the labs…"

Muldoon: "You two, be extra careful….We've never encountered anything remotely like this. There could be a creature indoors we don't know about…here (hands them a second handgun and crowbar). Bring something that can freeze quickly… (slides a can of antifreeze across the table)."

Diego: "I'm not so sure we should do this, paco….Something could definitely go wrong…Need to be extra on the lookout Roberto…are you planning on going up first?"

Owen: "I'll meet you back around the edge of the Lab…go in ahead of me."

Claire: "Did you hear that…There's something moving over the ridge.."

Muldoon: "Alright, Diego don't worry about it….I'm going up ahead. I'll check the first rocks forty feet up and see for myself what other terrain appears on the grip locks above."

Diego: "I'm telling you, there's something moving up there esse…."

Muldoon: "That's your imagination…Just stick close here."

Diego: "Whatever you say, paco…I'll wait here near the second ledge for a few minutes…"

*Muldoon carefully begins climbing up the Crag, knowing there is no other way through.*

*Meanwhile, more than 800 feet from the beginnings of this rocky Crag, Owen and Claire are slowly descending a staircase to get much more familiar with the Lab. They hear a low, audible growl almost like it is piercing the southern corridor…yet they cannot see anything visible. The idea is tossed out there that perhaps one of them needs to run over to where those red lasers are covering the hall…and quietly move past it to see what is in the foyer beyond. Yet Owen knows better, since he realizes something very disturbed is crawling around the hall passage at night….something no one needs to learn of now. *

Claire: "Look at that, it looks like a key lock….I can get inside this door if I just have a bit of time."

Owen: "We don't have that kind of time right now…how are you so sure? What if it's one of those giant creatures from hallway eleven?"

Claire: "Hallway eleven? Huh? What are you on about now?"

Owen: "There's a giant salamander type monster over seven yards from here in Hallway eleven…"

Claire: "No…Owen…you're seeing things.."

*Claire continues to stare at the control panels inside the lab. They each have a dark pigmentation, denoting some kind of sequence of buttons. On one of the panels that stands at the far left hand side, a large lever is shown that says "Push" to De-pressurize the Sterilization room. Next to it, is a number of older numbers displayed in chronological format. They clearly show the sequence for some kind of blood compound, perhaps this is the Enzyme isolating partition room Claire begins to wonder aloud. *

Owen: "N-n-no I mean something is uhh…Something is right above us right now."

*Just then, a large low and audible growl is heard…it seems to shatter the air around the thick, arid laboratory as well as the halls next door. There is something hideous and unknown moving behind the pipes. And as Owen gathers the courage to shine his flashlight towards the east passage, the both of them realize why all those stories around cave worms were passed down. There, standing in the shadow with almost no light to bare its features….is a giant Therizinosaurus Hybrid that smells worse than any type of monstrous slug or hog they had ever encountered. It has hideous razor sharp teeth, and two enormous gaping claws that look like they had just got out of a medical exhibit in France. Right then, it begins to step forward in the dark….intent on stabbing its huge sickle claws directly through its next targeted victim.*

Claire: "What the hell is that….! Owen…..get me out of here….as soon as you can!"

*She blares at the top of her lungs, as her hands quickly fiddle with the keyboard and try to pull up all the access codes in this lab. There are a number of compounds, chromosomes and keywords….yet most of them are not sorted out in any recognizable order she knows or has seen. And worse still, there is no real directions that would indicate what order each number needs to be added on screen.*

Xalteo Therizinosaurus: "GRAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRR! ROOOOOARR! GRAAAAAAAAARGRRR!" *Suddenly, the massive Red eyed Therizinosaurus' head bursts open and reveals a giant worm like creature, with hideous tendrils sticking out from the left and right side. There is also an almost catatonic, menacing looking Insect like head that sticks out from the top of its neck pointing down. And it glares directly at Owen, as the creature begins to shoot out 7 of its tendrils straight into his neck as it quietly drags him across the floor towards the freezer decompression machine. He is running for his life, dodging a giant razor sharp sickle while sliding across the floor down the hall to Chamber R…..where the radiation extractor suddenly lights up and buzzes to life. Large splotches of liquid shoot off left to right. The entire area is soon heavy with a thick secretion, a mess of tangled ooze stretches up & down the corridor….as the Hybrid Therizinosaurus rears up on its hind legs and with its right hand sickle claw….attempts to cut Owen's leg entirely off. Claire is floored with a face of horror, and runs to eject the massive Fire Extinguisher from the nearby wall. She quickly runs across the room to the East side of Chamber R, which is some kind of radiation room….and tries with all her might to freeze the beast.*

Owen: …."Oh my god, it's going to cut my foot off! AGGHHH, do something!" ((Owen shouts, as he unleashes more than 7 rocket projectiles from his grenade gun…realizing it would've been smart to bring out the M4. He shoots every last bomb at the Dinosaur, then tosses the socket wrench/crowbar that Muldoon gave him earlier directly at the creature's head. It rears back in amusement and plunges its sickle claw through the laboratory table, nearly piercing Owen's entire arm in the crossfire.))

Xalteo Therizinosaurus: "RROOOOOOOOOOAAR! RAAAAAAAWWRR! GRAAAAAAAWWRR!" ((Its 2 massive sickle claws fly through the cold steel, destroying the auditorium desk…and lifting it high in the air as part of the ceiling begins to crumble around them. Claire rushes in with the fire extinguisher, shooting of dozens of bolts of liquid nitrogen. Then suddenly the creature disappears…..oh great, they both think. It must be gone. Only there's no such luck, as this Dinosaur is far worse than anything they ever ran into in Paddock 11. All a sudden, the Hybrid Therizinosaurus smashes through the Satellite station for DNA isotope extraction….lifting it high into the air…and then plunges out of the ground three feet from where Owen is sitting. This terrible creature is capable of digging underground, and shooting up straight beneath its targets whether that be Icy ground or rocky ground. Any type of terrain is open season for this Therizinosaurus, and that makes catching it off guard incredibly tricky.))

Owen: "Hold on Claire, I'm going to lure it out…. ((Owen shouts as he runs across the test-tube table North of the X-Ray scanner machine. He runs as fast as his feet will move, while large canisters and test tubes fly across the room in all directions….exploding across the entire hall into a ball of green fire. Then, right when he thinks this is working….suddenly the hideous Therizinosaurus goes silent…and bursts straight out of the grating on the wall north of where Owen landed! It even knows how to dig through walls, and shoot up and down hallways…..this was not good news, Owen slowly realized.))

Xalteo Therizinosaurus: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAWWR! ROOOOOOAR!" ((Its 2 enormous sickle claws plunge straight through the wall, and knock Claire to the side. It then rears up and stabs its second huge sickle claw straight through Owen's arm, lifting him high in the air above its head. The hideous worm like appendages cover the man's body, as it tries to consume him and devour him whole…..when out of nowhere, a huge shining spiky object plunges straight through the Therizinosaurus' massive head. It was a silver-tip Russian Pick Axe, and Claire had managed to sneak up behind it while the Dinosaur was standing up on top of the de-compression module. It had pierced straight through, causing the creature to rear back in shock as it bellowed loudly throughout the hall….stabbing its other claw straight through the incoming attacker.))

Owen: "Oh god, no…..Thank you for stepping in right on time! I think we need to freeze this beast…"

Claire: "Take THAT, you scaley ungrateful sonof a b!ch! That will teach you to chew with your mouth open…" ((She then begins to pelt it with fifty canisters of liquid nitrogen….as the Dinosaur slowly backs up and its massive tendrils fly out in a star formation…while it backs up into the large Laboratory incinerator that stands 400 feet to the north. Large skin flies off as the corridor begins to fill with red mist due to the carnage. They were moving it towards the incinerator room, as this is the only way Owen believes this shockingly horrific creature can finally be killed.))

Xalteo Therizinosaurus: "ROOOOARR! GRRAAAAAAAAAAAWRR!" (It stabs its large claws into an electrified table, and hurls it down the hall towards Owen and Claire. This Dinosaur is quite intelligent, almost like the same people who created the Velociraptor had experimented on it as well. It then stabs its claws directly through a water pump, causing massive amounts of water to flood in….as the entire Lab begins to be covered in water and chaotic mushroom residue across each wall and ceiling surface.)

Xalteo Therizinosaurus: "GRAAAAAAAAWR! ROARR! RAAAAAAAAAAAWWRR!" ((Huge pieces of debris fly off in all directions, as Owen dives under its legs to the other side. He shoots four consecutive rocket bombs straight into its neck, and pushes it back over the main experiments table so it falls straight into the concrete wall. It then bursts through the floor west of where he was standing, making it clear this Dinosaur is absolutely no small challenge to deal with.))

Owen: "Claire….oh for gods sake….Blow up the chemical compounds lab, just blow it up! It's the only way to draw its attention away from us for a moment…"

*Just then, Claire ignites the flame thrower and blows up the entire Test-Tubes isotope center where all the experiments were taking place with COMPOUND Z. The ground electrifies nearby, and shocks both Claire and Owen to fly head first backwards into the wall. Yet as this occurs, it also electrocutes the hideous creature….forcing it to finally slip backwards into the wall, and stumble as it nears the incineration room to the north. *

Owen: "Take this, you son of a btch.." ((He screams as he lights up the transport Crane, that is directly next to the X-Ray scanner. He maneuvers the Crane diagonally past the red laser trip wires, so it goes straight for the hybrid Therizinosaurus massive towering frame. He then pulls up fast, and the crane zips forward and knocks the massive sauropod backwards…as it finally trips on the ceiling cables, and falls head first into the incinerator room where excess debris and calcium deposits get disposed of.))

Xalteo Therizinosaurus: "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWRR!" ((It lifts its 2 massive claws high in the air, and plunges them through the vent in the ceiling as it comes crashing into the underwater pool directly above the Dinosaur. It tries unsuccessfully to flood the chamber, just as Owen tosses in 17 experimental C4 canisters inside the incinerator room and seals the door shut while narrowly running out the other side. As he just barely misses a brush with death, suddenly the generator fires up.))

Claire: "Bye bye, don't you ever come back here again…." ((Claire shouts, as she fires up the conduits and lights the incinerator machine to turn on full blast. Then out of nowhere, the C4 ignites causing the massive Therizinosaurus creature to get caught in the deadly blast…and blow clear apart as it roars for its final moments during its inevitable death.))

Owen: "Geezuz…So...you think Biosyn will have that in their records for new miracle cures in patients?!"

Claire: "Very funny smarty. Forget that, I'm just glad you're alive….I need to finish extracting the list for the DX infected Dinosaurs from the lab computer….Here, give me the diskette so we can leave here fast. Let's get to Muldoon and get out of here."

Owen: "I thought you would never ask….Good god this place is enormous…"

Claire: "Here, let me click this into the keypad real quick… (She enters password: DECOMPRESS. Suddenly the computer locks up for a second and shows off twelve new Isotopes. One of the screens shows the Compounds for the Indominus Rex 2.0, and another the hybrid Carnotaurus. Dr. Wu had clearly been here recently but left a trail of software traps to tag new visitors) Wow…there's a hidden code here….It looks like Dr. Wu was trying to clone some type of new creature out here.."

Owen: "Claire, we don't have time for this….Unless you mean we need to go back to the pressure room."

Claire: "Negative, that's a negative Owen….we need to enter the stairs and find the Diffuser machine that is four rooms up from here. If we can't get that Embryonics chamber open and destroy these things, then when we meet with Muldoon this won't do us any good. Help me secure the COMPOUND Z here."

Harvest's Voice: "Well, well well….I'm afraid I can't let you do that Ms. Dearing. You see, the diffuser machine is extra special to Dodgson….That's how we took control of the DNA in the new Spinosaurus…and that could present quite a problem for Dr. Wu."

Owen: "What the?! Who cares about that? Who are you?...Holy hell Claire, I think we got company from a pair of Biosyn soldiers over here…

Harvest's Voice Speaking Through A.I: "Ahhh yes, Soyona sent me here to deal with you in person. Unfortunately I got delayed at the mines since my machine recently dug up the CRAY."

Harvest's A.I Voice: "So instead, I'll let my Predator A.I soldier do the talking. (The huge humanoid robot targets all 4 its lasers upon where Owen was standing…and starts blowing it to pieces.)

Claire: "Oh my….run, get behind the cabinets!" (Claire leaps into action and gets on top of the Eastern Isotope testing desk, which is littered with Test tubes and DNA samples. She starts shooting the machine gun at the Harvest A.I Robot which is now trying to kill them, as it shoots off dozens of heavy splinter-style concussion frequency beams at the door blowing it sideways and hurling Claire to the ground. Out of nowhere, a massive explosion goes off as the Harvest A.I starts to float down the hallway hurling out giant flame rounds in each direction….destroying most of the office all the way down the corridor. It picks up Claire and tosses her through the Eastern wall, which is still electrified to keep the large Allosaurus trapped in its experimental test site. Unfortunately, this reactivates the alarms as well as the rotating camera above the door….so now Owen is able to easily see the Dinosaur including the robot.)

Harvest's A.I Voice: "We don't need you fools interfering with our plans anymore, this is a personal Soyona task for me this time…You got my friend Oscar killed Claire, before even arriving at the summit!"

Claire: "I don't know what you're talking about you creep… I didn't even know Oscar, I just heard that he worked with Nima. Working for Biosyn has utterly fried your brain!"

Owen: "Uhhh…claire…keep him distracted.. (Owen motions for Blue to sneak up from the rear exit.) thanks." (He rolls out a few gas grenades to create an explosion in the corridor.)

Harvest's A.I Voice: "Like hell you didn't know him! Oscar told me all about you… (Harvest begins to shout, as the remote controlled android tenses up to start shooting hundreds of shot-gun blasts across the office….and upon impact, two of those shots ricochet and strike Claire knocking her over the chair.)

*Just then, Blue appears from nowhere and leaps across from the Eastern foyer directly on top of the robot. She slashes at it intently, as the A.I robot suddenly tosses a table at Claire knocking her back towards the balcony that lies 50 feet above the test tube tables. Then Blue finally runs up the wall and slashes the Harvest Robot's arm off, tossing it down the stairs where it makes a huge explosion. Right as this occurs, the Harvest A.I android finally lifts the medical shot injector from the pod and stabs it through Blue, tossing her to the side and knocking Owen over. It looks like the battle is won.*

Owen: "Oh no you don't….Not today you psycho!" (Owen opens his bag and out tumbles 8 electric static shock grenades, which fly in and fry up the A.I robot's circuits as it begins to overheat.)

Harvest's A.I Voice: "Oh no you don't….Dodgson and Soyona ordered me to personally kill you….Don't worry, I'll make the death painless." (He tosses Owen through the wall so he goes flying to the east side of the balcony, without noticing that Claire has snuck up behind with the flamethrower.)

Claire: "Chew on this, you horrible son of a btch….Get Control Alt Deleted!" ((An endless parade of flames fall out in a single row, which fries the A.I's circuits as the robot flies backwards into the enclosure where the Hybrid Allosaurus is waiting for its opening to escape.))

Owen: "Claire, hurry…We need to get to the diffuser machine!"

Harvest's A.I Voice: "Ha ha ha, that tickles….Now I will have my revenge for Oscar…and Billy too!"

Proto Allosaurus: "RAAAAAAAAAAWWRR! GRAAAAAAAAAAAWRR!" (The huge Dinosaur wakes up in an awful mood, staring at the Harvest Robot like it had just found a new chew toy.)

Harvest's A.I Voice: "What the hell….How did you get out of containment…Oh god, no not now….Down….No, stay away and get down! AWHHHHHHH-"

Proto Allosaurus: "ROOOOAAAARR!" ((The massive head of the Allosaurus suddenly erupts in red flames as the fire pours off, shredding everything inside the room including the A.I robot. The entire inner chamber fills with a green lethal gas…as the containment area starts to rip apart.))

Owen: (He stares over at Claire a moment.) Don't worry, Blue will be fine…that beast whatever it is can't get out of its prison cell…..Let's hurry up, we got to get to the diffuser machine right now!"

Claire: "Don't worry Owen, I'm on my way over there now….We will have the codes we need soon. (She punches in a few more codes into the keyboard.) As for your other idea, getting the hell out of here as soon as possible definitely works for me!"

/Meanwhile, outside near the edge of the Onyx Crag is a most peculiar sight. Robert Muldoon and Diego are continuing their climb, realizing that the only way out of this 4 way trap and away from the deadly lab is straight up. As Muldoon reaches a height of about 500 meters, he looks slowly beneath him at Diego who is struggling to keep up and realizes he still has another 400 feet to go before he reaches the first ledge on the North Terrace. The blood, rain and sweat pours down on their faces from above….as they look directly to the right and left to check for threats like Dinosaurs. There is something truly sinister in the air, and they have no idea from what direction it will arrive.*

Muldoon: "Diego don't go faster than me, bloody hell whatever you do. This is no joke out here, I mean it amigo. This is the real deal for sure, and somehow we have to scale this cliff without help."

Muldoon: "Wait….don't make a sound….What the hell is that shape moving…20 yards from here!?"

*Muldoon suddenly looks on in frustration at the cracks in the walls, realizing he hears an audible growl. There is nothing there however, just silent rocky crevices. The realization had donned on him a while ago, as he studied his pocket PDA to see which direction to go on GPS to locate the computers. In fact, the only real reason he was here now was to find those computers…input the DNA compiler codes, and kill off the embryos if possible. That and scrub the DX lists clean of Dinosaur specimens, and extract Dr. Grant from this Island….if for any reason he was still on this infernal hell of an Island of course. But he already knew this was going to be a longer trip than that. Then he heard the growl again….there was something yanking…tugging at his hooked repelling line and the rope. Yet there was nothing seen.*

Diego: "Roberto, how much longer do I wait?! I want to get up to the other side of that cliff soon hermano so I can grab some water….I see some water up the cliff face there closer to you."

Muldoon: "Don't try to follow directly behind me Diego, damit I warned you before…. (He exhales.) There's something alive here in the cliffs….I can't see anything but it's there, for sure."

*Then all a sudden something truly terrifying smashes through the side of the Cliffside where Muldoon was standing a moment ago. Its head is part Triceratops/Velociraptor and its body is that of an Archaeopteryx…..Worse then that, it has massive Spikes coming out of its spindly arms….Like it was built to be some kind of horrendous flying snake which can also burrow underground. And he couldn't even tell anything about it that would be of help. Its massive hooked claws suddenly sliced Muldoon's rope, and there he was dangling from the cliff's edge…400 feet above a death trap. He grabbed for dear life to the closest hand-holds which were 3 meters to the East, and kept moving…in quiet order. *

Risno Archaeopteryx: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAWWR! CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! SNARRL!" (The massive Hybrid Archaeopteryx came out of nowhere, and started biting and clawing at Muldoon in furious waves. The first three slashes spilled out across his arms, the next his chest, and suddenly he was on his stomach alongside the ledge more than 300 feet up from where Diego reached the terrace…crawling along the tunnel floor of the cavern. That horrific Dinosaur then spun sideways, and knocked the ceiling to pieces as it began to circle Muldoon in the cavern attempting to yank his leg right off. Its massive Velociraptor style head plunged straight through the cliff, biting at his arms…slashing his chest open….as Diego suddenly caught sight of the horrible beast more than 200 meters above him. Diego took out his iron-sights rifle, and started shooting more than 30 shots directly at the Dinosaur. Yet it was still pulling Muldoon in…and meanwhile, his friend was fighting for his life to get inside a cave so as to avoid a chilling fall downwards to one's immediate death. They knew, especially Diego did…that it was time to escape from here as quickly as possible. But the ledges have started to give out…Where to go? Where do you go when you're more than 700 meters up?)

*Camera pans out to Isla Muerta at dusk, as Claire and Owen slowly make their way through the dark corridor. They take the elevator to floor 14 and drag Blue along with them, unaware of what type of horrors await just two doors down. The giant, towering set of medical labs glistens in the moonlight.*

Owen: "Claire there it is, the Diffuser machine….To use the Compounds so we can kill those things and go meet up with Muldoon. I see it, we can make it if we run."

Claire: "What….Owen, no we can't make it right now….you're crazy…"

Owen: "What..? Why is that…."

Claire: "Because….Two meters to your twelve o'clock….We are being hunted by that hideous beast."

Claire: "Didn't you see it!?"

Owen: "Not yet, I don't….Don't think…"

*Suddenly, at the north end of the hall it approaches. The hideous, white shape of the creature takes them by total surprise. It is indeed a Hybrid Acrocanthosaurus, known as a Bisinio Acrocanthosaurus Primatrix….and it has a worm sticking out of its head with three arms. It's the most awful thing either Claire or Owen have ever seen, and it can dig through the walls by sneaking up behind its victims to top it off. It looks like the creature has contracted a terrible disease, and there is no way to enter the room with the diffuser machine without first destroying the fuse box. And then getting past the Acrocanthosaurus which has made this Lab its home.*

Owen: "Oh no…..Claire, run to the conference room! I'll meet you near the cabinets.."

Bisinio Acrocanthosaurus Primatrix: "GRAAAAAAAAEEAAAAAAAAAAAARR! ROAAARR! GROOOWL!" ((The huge, disease ridden monstrous Acrocanthosaurus begins shooting in and out of the walls….Like some type of awful, horrific Silent Hill worm. And there's no other way out except through it.)
