What would happen if Lewis Dodgson succeeded in finding Site C? Jurassic Park Terror of Site C is inspired by true events depicted in other literary works, including Jurassic Park the Novel, Jurassic Park: Evolution and the award winning video game Jurassic Park Trespasser.

21. Chapter 21: Underground Annex & Volcano

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 21: The Underground Monorail Annex and Volcano ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

*Large torrents of darkened rain continue to pour down, covering each side of Isla Muerta in a long array of fog and moisture. The landscape grows more hollow with each passing day, as one looks out from the Icy tundra to the large architecture that ascends nearly as high as the clouds. There in the midst of it all, our 4 intrepid Hunters are discovering just how tough it is to navigate this new land. They thought this would be a walk in the park, yet discovered just how wrong they truly were. And during the process, Bill Steingarten is learning an all new appreciation for the life that he's seen…after coming face to face with a true terror that shocks the senses and moves one's mind towards the brink. Large, voluminous swamplands also stretch out in both directions near an arid tundra backdrop.*

*The Island is isolated from most civilization, and it is on the outside of the world itself. In spite of this, the rocky measures of the surface and texture here is surrounded by jagged cliff formations in most parts of the land mass. And one particularly deadly rocky Cliffs formation sticks out right in the middle over near the Caldera, that being the Onyx Crag formation. This extremely dangerous formation is basically the outcropping that is closest to Biosyn's Garden Side Laboratory…and it also happens to be one of the most treacherous rocky cliffs you will see this south of the equator line. In essence, other lands including the Himalayas have nothing on this Crag….and the depth of its caves and depravity of its ledges offer a fair amount of proof of this. At its peak, you can also see a massive Temple like structure built by the ancients. This is where the Spinosaurus aegypticus was born, is what the rumors allege. You might say, Isla Muerta earned its name for a few reasons.*

Muldoon: "Diego….Don't climb up here' right now….I'm bloody busy at the moment. (Muldoon shouts, as he flops on his belly and starts tearing it up down the first tunnel corridor…The massive monstrous velociraptor style bird follows him…And shoots its large head straight out of the ground beneath!)

Risno Archaeopteryx: "GRAAAAAAAWRR! CAAAAAAAAAAAAWW! ROOOOOARR!" ((It slashes up through the cliff's wall, along the jagged edge. It tears at Muldoon furiously, trying to bury its claws deep in his back and rip him back down the incline. The struggle intensifies as Muldoon flops around on his back, and begins kicking the massive creature with his hind legs…then he shoots the repelling hook up another 15 meters to the Cliff above. He figures one of the easier ways to avoid this Dinosaur, is to keep climbing…and hope he can somehow kick it into a nearby hole to trap it.))

Muldoon: "Hang on Diego, I'm thinking this through….We'll get out of this I promise… (He tosses the hook around the Dinosaur's right leg, and tries tethering it to the cliff to see it he can drag it in.) I'm still working this problem out…"

Diego: "Roberto, it's right behind you padre!" ((Diego fires off 4 bola snare blasts towards the massive creature, as it runs in and out of the large cave 4 meters to the right of Muldoon's position. It will take a lot of wit and strategy to outrun this predator.))

Muldoon: "Take this you insufferable beast…" ((He shoots of eight shotgun blasts into the massive Risno Archaeopteryx, finally forcing it to crash into the ceiling…which causes an avalanche that makes two new ledges 100 meters up available to land upon. This gives Muldoon an idea….Perhaps he can go cave spelunking and lure the beast out to a more favorable vantagepoint.))

Muldoon: "Hold on, Diego….This does look pretty bad right now…" ((Finally, Muldoon pulls the strap on his climbing gear and shoots himself up the rocky cliff face another 35 meters. He's used the pulley to create a sling-shot, and is attempting to sling-shot himself right past the Archaeopteryx. Only this of course will not work, if any one of his pulleys go slack.))

Risno Archaeopteryx: "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWR! ROOOOOOAR!" ((Right then, the massive bird bursts through the wall and starts flying & diving into the cave walls…exactly 10 meters away from where Muldoon is resting against the cave in the holdout position. He thinks wrongly that if he holds out just a bit longer, the massive Dinosaur will miss his spot…giving him an opportunity to unload the bombs.))

Muldoon: "Ahhh bloody hell, this is the worst climbing trip of my life…(He shouts as he repels to the Eastern ledge, 12 meters to the right. This time Muldoon finally loops the repelling hook around a second, more sturdy Crag that is parallel to his first position. He figures that if he lures the beast up to the opening of the cave, he could perhaps cause a cave-in to start…one of the key factors that Grant always told him would destroy these beasts from hell. But will the theory prove to be true?)

Risno Archaeopteryx: "ROOOOOOOOOOOARR! GRAAAAAAAAAAAWRR!" ((The massive part raptor flying menace, dashes in from the western wall. It shreds Muldoon's back to pieces with its claws, dragging him into a large cavern which is more than 100 meters up from the first Crag. It looks for certain at this point that he is as good as dead, unless an absolute miracle occurs.))

Diego: "Hold on Roberto, I'm coming up there esse…..Hold on!" ((Diego shoots an extra repelling hook up to where Muldoon is currently stranded. He then begins to fire 15 direct flame rounds towards the beast, collapsing the cave above. The horrible Dinosaur begins to roar in pain, and drags Muldoon into another Crag 10 meters west of their first position. The monster burrows in and out of the wall of the cave, shooting in and out faster than the guns can fire. It is dragging Muldoon up into a massive crevice full of spikes and sharp rocks, and Diego knows this is the only time to strike.))

Diego: "Hold on, hermano! I'm there in a moment…. ((Diego repels upward as fast as he can, outrunning the other Risno Archaeopteryx which burst through the ground below…and he unloads all the canister bombs in his pouch at the same time. They explode in a chain, crushing the cave floor and sending the Archaeopteryx tumbling out to the edge of the cliff.))

Risno Archaeopteryx: "CAAAAAAAAAAAWW! GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWRR! ROAAR!" ((The massive Reptile monster shrieks with a hideous Velociraptor roar and begins running on the actual top of the Crag which Muldoon was climbing on! It's a nightmare, since the beast can both fly and run as fast as a raptor. Finally Muldoon gets an idea, as he begins to tire of these games knowing he will die soon. And right at that moment, Muldoon gets a glint in his eye and holds tight to the cliff…he swings out on the vine 5 meters up from where the creature is and repels to the rocks 20 meters above.))

Muldoon: "Take this, you bi-pedal nightmarish beast…Go suck on someone else's blood!" ((Muldoon then swings straight out with the repelling hook, and in a circle arc he diagonally crosses the cliff at breakneck speed….And right then, tosses the hook to another jagged sharp rock more than 8 meters above him….breaking it loose from the cliffside just a little, as the Archaeopteryx chases him onto this rock. Muldoon then repels 4 meters straight up, burrowing into a small circular hole at least 5 meters away from the Dinosaur. The Archaeopteryx inevitably tries to follow, when suddenly the rocks wobble, sway and collapse….taking the entire outcropping of the ledge and cliff-side tundra tumbling straight down….with the massive reptile bird unable to hook its claws into the wall in time…..as it is sent hurdling down over 800 meters to the rocky jagged spikes below….instantly killing it as the rock explodes.))

Muldoon: (He raises his body from the side of the small inlet cave, and wraps his arm in gauze.) "Bloody hell….That's the last time I go deciding to have campfire stories on this Island…Look alive, Diego!"

Muldoon: "I'm still here…..I bloody well don't think we'll be seeing that bird again, though…"

Diego: "Yes Amigo, I agree! I'm on my way up….Hopefully Dr. Grant and Owen can meet us here soon….Oh by the way hermano, there is another one of those reptile birds…sitting 10 meters up."

Muldoon: "You don't need to ever remind me of that Diego….Don't bother, we got a ways to still go yet to get out of this dam mountain Crag from hell…"

Muldoon: "I've been keeping score, sport….One down, one absolutely terrible beast ta' go….Oh goody."

Diego: "Oh I know it amigo, I know it…."

*Fade out to Isla Muerta around dusk. More than 200 kilometers from there, Steingarten is now surrounded. He made it inside the volcanic ruins, but surrounding him on all sides is a horde of the worst beasts the Cretaceous era ever brought. At least 5 Troodons, maybe 7 are in the chamber now. Worse still, the monsters are slowly circling the cave opening….Getting ready to strike and attack. He could hear them breathing, and these Hybrid Troodons are capable of flying in the dark…Making it all worse.*

Steingarten: "Stay back you fiends, I'm not playing….I will shoot you all full of holes!" ((He angrily lashes out, rotating the huge fire torch in both directions. He swings it sideways, tossing 4 of the Troodons into the cavern wall and making a large crackling sound. The cave thunders with red and green fire.))

Gexenic Troodon: "ROOOOAR! GRAAAAAAAAAAAWWR! SNNAARRL! ROOOOAARR!" ((The hideous creature suddenly flies in from the left, then the right…tearing apart Steingarten's left leg and nearly tearing his knee clean off. This could not go on like this, and the room, given it is setup like a trap….Must have some of the answers to getting out of here.))

Steingarten: "Stay back, get the hell away from me….I promise, I will destroy this whole cave!" ((He swings the massive torch into the front of the pack leader, shooting it off through a cage in the ceiling. The area above suddenly collapses, as finally one Gexenic Troodon falls head-first into the Magma…burning alive. Five more to go, he realizes.))

Gexenic Troodon: "GRAAAAAAAWWR! HSSSSSSSSSS! ROOOOOAR!" ((The massive snake-head of the reptile pours in out of nowhere, snapping and snarling as it burrows inside Steingarten's leg. It had finally mutilated his leg and implanted an egg inside of it. The other one rips into a corpse, which appears to belong to his friend Jack….who is now long since dead. He looks on in terror as he realizes four new Troodon eggs were laid within Jack's lifeless body, and now it is boiling over inside the cave.))

Steingarten: "Ahhhh! Stay away from my leg, you beast! (He shoots off 10 high impact poison darts, nailing another Troodon through the face as it flies in. It gets shot with 20 more high impact darts, it finally crumples to pieces and falls into the hot Magma. The timer for the computer begins to count down….He knows he needs to escape out of the room fast, before the whole area explodes.)) You better not follow me!"

Gexenic Troodon: "GRAAAAAAAAAAWR! ROOOOOARR!" ((It flies in from the Eastern side, and suddenly snaps off Steingarten's left hand…leaving nothing but a few fingers behind. It was highly evident more than one person may end up dying here…..But he wasn't going to stick around to find out. Just then Steingarten starts crawling on the floor to the opposite end of the hall, searching for a control panel…anything to access the mainframe computer…so he can figure out this room and get out fast.))

Steingarten: "I'm not going down without a fight!" ((He hook shots to the column at the very center of this unstable, Magma covered room. There is a terminal on the Eastern block, the same one Johan had told him about ages ago. If he can get over there in time, he can probably deactivate the trigger for the main bombs. Just then he hears a massive roar…..It was one of those Hybrid Dinosaurs…and it is inside the room now…over near the West most terminal.))

Ultima Saurus Imperatrix: "RAAAWRR!" ((A huge, double sickle lined claw flies out of the wall near to where Steingarten was hiding behind the console. It then shoves him into the ceiling, like swatting a fly. The large lumbering hybrid half-Carnotaurus half-T-Rex looking creature breaks through the wall of this underground lab, and shatters all the equipment. It had a half-Triceratops face and bizarre Stegosaur spikes all over its back, as it whipped Steingarten across the arena like it was swatting a fly.))

Steingarten: "Oh my….God! This does not look good!" ((He bolts for the barricade in the middle, and tosses himself behind the display of consoles on the west wall.))

Steingarten: "I'm not going anywhere…without a fight!"

*Just then, an explosion goes off destroying exactly half of the whole cave….And tossing Steingarten more than 10 meters out towards the edge of a Magma surrounded cliff. The buzzing monitors wouldn't stop making noises, and he knew this was really bad news. If the countdown reaches zero too early, it could destroy the entire lab as well as the Volcanic cavern…and let whatever that horrific creature is escape from prison. Once it was free, that thing may well tear up a third of this Island. Knowing this, Steingarten grabbed a hold of the side of the Magma cliff and started shooting his rail gun at the ceiling. He was going to bring the Laboratory down, and straight into the Magma no matter what it took.*

Steingarten: "I-I-I-m not going anywhere…I'm not letting you do anything!" ((He shouts as he shoots off large parts of the Magma covered cavern, which begin breaking off all across the giant structure. The enormous Ultima Imperatrix shatters the bridge in half, and tosses all the computers into the fire. It then whips around and brings down the ceiling. Steingarten shoots more than 10 rockets into its chest, as the massive hideous creature begins to crater the entire chamber into the sea of fire.))

Ultima Saurus Imperatrix: "ROOOOOOOAR! GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWRR! SNAAARL!" (The giant Hybrid Dinosaur crushes the 3 remaining Gexenic Troodons under its massive feet, and begins to shoot off a cascade of jagged electric bolts throughout the room. It tears the ceiling wide open, just as the countdown reaches zero and explodes….destroying the entire Northern hemisphere of the cavern, and sending Steingarten, along with everything else tumbling straight off the cliff's edge. They plummet more than 200 meters down to their presumed demise, where we are left to assume Steingarten dies.)

Steingarten: "I'm not…..not dead…d…eaad…Yet!" ((Suddenly, Steingarten grabs a hold of the side of the rocky magma basin and pulls himself onto a ledge more than 50 meters down. He looks on in horror at the massive, menacing beast which has crawled out of the volcanic cavern. That horrifying monster appears to be an Ultima Imperatrix, and worse than that, it seems to have escaped the Volcanic ruins and is making its way out to the world at large. It shatters the western wall and bellows out with an angry, horrific roar as it stares over near the Icy Woodlands. The beast could smell competition.))

Ultima Saurus Imperatrix: "ROOOOOOOAR! GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWR!" ((It hurls its massive arm out, destroying part of the mountain and leveling the nearby structures. It knew by scent alone, that another Dinosaur…a Septio Spinosaurus no less, was out there. And it wanted to go find it, and kill everything in its path until it could discover where the Spinosaurus was to destroy it too.))

Steingarten: "Oh dear….This has…turned into a massive problem now…." (He makes his way up past the final Volcanic subterranean cave. Steingarten looks for the computer terminal…anything still working, that would allow him to access the map and shut all doors on the southern half of Muerta…so that no one and nothing else…could break through, and allow the Imperatrix to begin a total rampage.)

Steingarten: "My my….Oh do I hate being right all the time…" (His eyes dart towards the western archway and deep into the subterranean jungle…searching for signs of the Dinosaur that broke out.)

*Pans out to the interior shot of the tunnels. Ian Malcolm as well as his kids, Kelly and Arby are moving along at high speed down the turbulent river rapids inside of a huge tunnel silo that leads to the interior structure of Biosyn's main underwater laboratory. He stares towards the east tunnel crossway, noticing the massive Megalodon's shape appears to be getting closer and closer. Right as this occurs he begins to aim the launcher on the Jetski down towards the sea tunnel floor.*

Ian Malcolm: "Kids, don't worry about it…I'll take you to the new Seaworld this year….Really, I promise this time! We can have roast clams and crabs on the oasis of the riviera, or something..(chuckle)"

Kelly: "Dad I think it's catching up!" (She screams, as suddenly the giant Shark's head crashes through the ocean wave and up through the Eastern channel as it begins to rip apart the engine.)

Arby: "Kelly look at that…up ahead is a giant ramp!" (Arby points to the long ramp 20 KM out.)

Megalodon: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAWRR! ROOOOOOOARR!" ((It crashes straight out of the water, in a massive wave and suddenly comes in from the west partition. Its enormous jaws swipe in directly over the Jetski, nearly cutting the back end in half.))

Malcolm: "O.k I admit…That one will hurt a bit…Hold on!" ((He suddenly glares and jets straight up the floor ramp that is sticking outside of the massive water tunnel. Huge waves crash in against the Jetski from the left and right side, as just then the Megalodon smashes through the Eastern observatory window…zooming around in a loop and shoots straight out of the pipe works nearly cutting their Jetski to pieces in the process. Just in time though, Malcolm pulls away at the fork…..and lifts the Jetski straight up the on ramp as the massive Megalodon crashes right through the bridge. It narrowly misses their head, and continues swimming down stream…when Malcolm gets a new idea.))

Kelly: "It is catching up! Oh god, no…"

Malcolm: "The thing is, the ancients who ran this Island left us answers….Real answers, older than time. They said that if "one looks towards the northern moon, the answer to your dilemma will reveal itself" which means in essence…we ought to be looking a lot more and dodging attacks less!"

Arby: "That uh, that's great to hear, Dad…"

Malcolm: "Ok, Arby….Here we go…Look up towards the Eastern moon this evening…You see the interesting shape and silhouette, the way it traces the horizon? That's the same way our life does….You, me, the stars….We're all a part of the same family out here…We all belong to chaos theory.."

Malcolm: "That's telling me the answer we need right now, Kelly….See the Megalodon is a shark, right….So it can't ever get us on land…..We're safe if we get the hell away from the water.."

Kelly: "What are you…..going to try to do!?"

Malcolm: "There's a cave up ahead, kids…I'm going to run it straight through the center line…."

Arby: "Which means…"

Malcolm: "Which means it'll run through that Electrical cable overhead….Presumably becoming fish bait…Or getting electrocuted as it flies up, that works too…"

*Just then, Malcolm plows the Jetski at over 90MPH straight up the incline….Away from the massive Shark as it flies through the air, nearly face-planting into the cave's entrance. The giant Megalodon shark flies straight up as well, but gets caught in the Electrical cable that Malcolm left up there…..which starts to fry the Hybrid Dinosaur until it turns into a giant piece of toast. It was starting to retreat.*

Malcolm: "Kids, move into the cave now! Yeah I know….we were certainly blessed to find that ramp….Look alert, the Megalodon can't get to us out here in the cave! But Biosyn sure can…"

Kelly: "Wow, great job dad! We actually made it out…" (She stares around at the empty cave.)

Malcolm: "O.k., so I was halfway serious about the Seaworld part…We could go to Epcot Center first, I promise alright…Anyway (He stares out the small opening in the cave which has now shut them in from one side.) I think we're in a cliff-side region….Oh my god, is that Owen Grady over there!? And Muldoon? Wow….I thought these guys died for sure particularly Muldoon….Hey kids, look at this!"

Arby: "Wow, no you're right dad….That looks an awful like Owen and Muldoon to me!"

*Malcolm slowly yells down the Cliff face towards where Muldoon and Diego are making their way up, 150 meters down from where he is standing. He notices it probably isn't Owen after all, as he takes note of the fact that Diego is wearing Owen's hat which caused the mix up. In any case, he's very glad to see them as well as civilization after all this time.*

Malcolm: "Robert Muldoon! Are you guys o.k., what can we do!? It looks like quite a rough cliff you have found here. Have you heard from Dr. Grant or Dr. Sattler? "

Muldoon: "Oh bloody hell, Malcolm it's you! Thank god we found you, think there's a Helipad up there at all? We need to get out of here soon enough…and no I haven't run into Ellie or Alan yet…nor Harding."

Malcolm: (He yells at top of his lungs.) "Harding!? What…no. Did you just say my Sara is on this Island? Oh my god, Owen also….No, oh geezuz I have to warn them….There's a giant Megalodon up here!"

Diego: (Yells back) "What? Did you just say a Megalodon is on this Island paco!? Oh geezuz, I didn't plan on anything like this…"

Malcolm: "Yeah, we're safe from it for now. That giant shark as well as a Kronosaurus are on this deadly Island…I think Diego, it is the deadliest Island I've ever been to…And Alan and Ellie need to know why."

Kelly: "It's gone for now, but it's likely going to come back to the reservoir…..Oh geez, now we know Sara is here too! This is crazy….the Dinosaurs are like something out of a horror film…real scary I mean."

Malcolm: "That's alright kids, I seem to remember Jurassic Park being pretty terrifying too…"

Muldoon: "Oh bloody hell, help me to forget all those terrible trips there….I'd love it to be stricken from memory Ian if it could be…In any case, that giant flying Hybrid Dinosaur is about 20 meters below where I'm climbing and it's trying to kill us right now….I sure could use a hand here. (He yells upward.)"

Malcolm: "Yes, of course…of course. Listen, there's no real way out of this cave. The cave-in blocked everything. I heard the Megalodon is going back to its nesting ground, 20 miles north of here at the base of the reservoir….We may have to deal with it for a final time…"

Malcolm: "I can't get any response from the radio….If we go outside, and climb straight up the cliffs…That seems to be as good a path as any to reaching the main Summit helipad. I hear there's a fork in the road at the top so an easier way in there….and if Grant or Sattler join us soon…we might be able to escape the first part of this death-trap Island plus deal with the DX virus…"

Kelly: "Uh dad, there's a real problem here…"

Diego: "Andale Roberto, we need to get moving out of here!"

Malcolm: "And what would that problem be, sweetheart?"

Kelly: "There's a giant Temple like thing at the top of the cliffs here….And Biosyn has their personnel patrolling the area, over nearby the excavation site. (She inhales.) I've been swimming for days in this place so I know it well…they're resurrecting some kind of Dinosaur using the super computer…"

Arby: "Maybe that's what killed Gerry Harding….."

Kelly: "You mean Sara's dad?! Yeah, maybe…..but it's something worse. There's a hybrid Spinosaurus here dad, and it was hunting for Dodgson….One of the most lethal Dinosaurs we've ever seen…"

Malcolm: "What…..Why was it here!? What in the blaze is Biosyn up to on this Island…."

Kelly: "It was experimented on so much, and it's so outraged…that it has come to the north part of Isla Muerta to hunt down Dodgson and Alan Grant….It wants to eat them both…This is why we got to be so careful of Biosyn out here, and why I think we'll need to follow Steingarten or hope he helps us…"

Arby: "Don't keep repeating that Kelly…-"

Diego: "Hear her out hermano, this is too critical!"

Kelly: "Because I think he's still alive….and might be one of the only people that can help us destroy those creatures before this whole Island is over-run with monsters…"

Malcolm: "I'm listening, Kelly….Neither Sara nor myself trust Steingarten at all…But you know, I agree the risk to reward ratio is worth it in this case….I can't believe that traitor Dodgson is still out there.."

Malcolm: "I really thought he was dead finally…Now there's this whole Island, and Biosyn is on it…"

Kelly: "No dad, no way that Lewis Dodgson would go down that easily….Maybe the senior staff revived him, or somehow gave him a new face. In any case he's definitely here…and the hybrid Spinosaurus is hunting everywhere for them….We're all in danger unless we find where Dodgson is hiding for sure!"

Malcolm: "Seems crazy to me…But I need to inform Alan…Because it may be our best chance, is to find Dodgson first…Especially thanks to that Spinosaurus that can turn invisible…actively stalking us all now. And Owen….Where is Owen!?"

Muldoon: (Yells up.) "We need to get out of here, and get to the isolation center up at the top of the incline. That will help us deal with the DX problem. As for Owen, they will soon be joining us here….As if it does any good. I see why they call this place deathtrap Island now Ian, it's truly bad here…Real bad."

Malcolm: "And adventurous…Don't forget adventurous, this ancient land is crazier than a roller coaster at Six Flags LA! But really what does anyone expect….Biosyn doesn't change their spots, that's for sure."

*Just then, Muldoon reaches up and tosses his repelling hook more than 50 meters towards the next outcropping. He begins to climb much faster, as Malcolm, Kelly and Arby begin to climb straight up the cliff as well. There is about 500 meters left to reach the intersection that goes straight to the top. And Diego tosses out more than 20 flash bang grenades, which create a tunnel in between the two partitions. They start to climb, and accelerate their climb between the canyon walls as they move faster and faster up the cliff face. 2 Hybrid Dimorphodons attack from the west edge, shooting their venom toxin on each of them. Diego reaches out with the hook launcher and shoots one, looping its massive body into the chasm above. He then starts pulling the 2 pulleys at the peak, forcing the rock to tumble out and the 2 massive Dimorphodons to begin clawing their way up the rock face. They are frantically grabbing at Muldoon's ankles, and finally force him to plunge 10 meters down….while Malcolm runs across to the other side of the rocky Crag and repels further up. He tosses a slack rope down to help Muldoon accelerate his climb and begins climbing straight up himself, as large boulders tumble.*

Malcolm: "I never knew we'd be doing this together….Climbing this horrible cliff, and actually enjoying the scenery! Look at that, you can see most of Isla Muerta from up here…Amazing view." (He shudders, as four more high-velocity poison rounds are shot into the Hybrid Dimorphodon and Risno Archaeopteryx which had attempted to dig out of the cave wall, and slash Malcolm's two legs in tatters. The other Archaeopteryx viciously nailed its claws into Kelly, trying to shove her straight out the cliff.)

Risno Archaeopteryx: "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAWRR! ROOOOARR! RAAAAAAAAAAWWR!" (The massive reptile bird surges upward in a burst of speed, with its raptor claws tearing into Kelly and Malcolm from behind. It starts to rip apart the rock face, just as Diego speeds up and climbs another 50 kilometers straight up. He shoots off a large hail of poison projectiles, straight into the third Archaeopteryx which had started climbing after them. Finally it swings out and explodes on the Dinosaur, as Muldoon attaches more than 5 canisters of C4 to the pulley and flings it down like a slingshot. The explosion ricochets killing both the Archaeopteryx and giant Dimorphodon nearby.)

Muldoon: "Bloody hell….I just know we're going to be glad to get the hell to the summit soon. This is the worst climbing experience of my entire life, I tell you Diego….And Ian, I am sure Dr. Grant will learn why very soon here…"

Kelly: "It grabbed my hair!" (Kelly points the M4 rifle towards the western cliff, shooting the giant towering hybrid Pterosaur in the eye…as it finally plummets off the side to its death.)

Malcolm: "Yes, we need to get out of here as soon as physically possible….and…We need to take pictures of this place, so we can resolve the DX problem as well….I'm guessing Sara or Alan will know what to do in regards to that….Especially with that abandoned Biosyn lab near the top…Let's hope they do."

Malcolm: "And lets hope kids, we don't immediately run into Dr. Henry Wu either….I found him, surprisingly alive here on Site C….But boy does he have some things to answer for…that's for sure."

*More than 200 kilometers from there, near the basin of the Indoraptor Ceremonial Shrine. Dr. Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, Sara Harding, Billy Brennan and Anne Carter make their way down the tunnel. They hear rushing water on the other side, not realizing they are a few miles out from the Onyx Crag. There has been no sign of any animals, aside from a shorter version of the Indo-raptor so far. But Alan Grant is getting anxious, realizing the Spinosaurus is out there…and it is hunting for all of them right now.*

Alan Grant: "That's right, Ellie….This whole structure was designed to worship those hideous beasts…Including the Indo-raptor….Like I told you before, it seems Dodgson is trying to resurrect a terrible beast….Something known as the Ultima Saurus or Ultima Imperatrix, that has been deceased for millions of years. One of these monsters was around during the days of the Incans…"

Ellie Sattler: "I was going to say, I hadn't heard of anything like that for eons….An old wive's tale, to make it seem like the ancient tribes truly worshiped them…I think that type of Dinosaur is entirely made up…"

Sara Harding: "In any case, we need to keep moving. Ian is up ahead I'm sure of it. We got to find out what to do with the viruses…especially the DX virus itself."

Billy Brennan: "The pathogen for those things….Let me look at the computer over here. (Brennan breaks into the Biosyn computer that's on floor 7 of the East Hangar. In the corner of his eye he also spots Soyona Santos…the 3 soldiers are carrying some kind of DNA extraction kit. They are trying to rip open the cavern directly underneath the Ceremonial Indo-Raptor shrine. This angers Dr. Harding considerably, who begins to lash out at the prospect of them being here.) (Billy types in the code, RED GREEN SEVENTY NINE AMBER CANE. Which he got from studying Hammond's newspaper…the code reveals that the pathogen Biosyn is hunting for is located in some kind of burial underground.) It looks like they are using giant cranes to dig out this whole area….to find the pathogen."

Alan Grant: "The pathogen for what, Billy?!"

Anne Jones Carter: "That's Soyona alright….We should split up. I'll go into the Western Ruins, down the corridor there at the south….See if I can spot what Biosyn has underneath the Streams area…There's something bugging me about this area, since I saw that Indo-Raptor going down there…"(She disappears down the slope in the dark.)

Billy Brennan: "The pathogen for their secret experiment, the one Henry Wu covered up. I think it's for the Ultima Saurus, or Imperatrix….One of those horrible beasts that could only have been created here."

Ellie Sattler: "You are joking….I asked Brian on the way here…He said those Dinosaurs are a myth."

Billy Brennan: "Not quite, Dr. Sattler….Not if as Malcolm feared…They created it through the Hybrid program…Cloning technology and re-genesis leads to very perilous side effects."

Sara Harding: "But they wouldn't dare do something that awful….Biosyn could cause an outbreak with those type of reckless actions."

Alan: "But then again, Sara….This is Biosyn we're talking about here…Controversy is their middle name.."

*Somewhere to the south of there, Owen and Claire begin to approach the massive Acrocanthosaurus hybrid…Unaware of what true horrors they face.*

*Around 10 kilometers west of where they were standing, the Biosyn personnel gathered around the table. Miles shouted something in anger at Soyona, as both Eli Mills and Jenkins spoke up. Then Dodgson started to give everyone a red glare. Things were not going as smoothly as needed.*

Dodgson: "I told you, for the last time Soyona…Harvest is not going to fail me. He found where Owen and Ms. Dearing are hiding…They are still inside the Garden Side Laboratory, of all places…"

Dodgson: "He has assured me that it will be their tomb…In the meantime, Soyona you have been ordered to lure Anne Carter down here…If we can get her into the Dig Site area, then you can also trick her into coming over to Streams 2 to open that sealed door I have a problem with."

Miles: "Boss, what on earth do you mean? Anne Carter isn't going to move for us so easily..."

Eli Mills: "With due respect, Dodgson…They avoided Miles and our best sentry units inside the Indo-Raptor shrine…what makes you think they won't avoid your ambush now? We need a very large apparatus to deal with this. I suggested Soyona take Indo-Raptor number eight to deal with them."

Soyona Santos: "I'll get Anne Carter down there, right where we want her….Then we can take the others out and seize Dr. Sattler. (Inhales.) Dodgson, if I may ask….What's so important inside that door?"

Dodgson: "The remaining codes that activate our special design for not just the Indo-Raptor, but the septio Spinosaurus itself…..Pretty soon, when the pathogens line up the Ultima will be awakened.."

Dodgson: "Right then and there, Dr. Grant will learn a horrifying epiphany about me….You should not ever look a gift horse in the mouth, more than once that is…It results in a failed experiment."

Eli Mills: "That sounds quite horrific Dodgson…Heh I like it, let's do this for Oscar."

Dodgson: "After he tried to interfere with my Amber mines the first time, I'm ready for payback on Dr. Grant in a much more brutal fashion. (Inhales.) He left me to die, and die I did Mills at the hands of those Dilophosaurus meatheads no less….Yet I rose again, and I allowed you to rise again. Because my brain did not entirely vanish, and with Biosyn's technology I was reborn a new….With greater intelligence…enhanced hearing and smell, and most importantly….Superior reflexes. (He grimaces.)"

Dodgson: "Oh yes, Dr. Grant….You can't ever quite get the Dinosaur out of me, that part is true….And it is all thanks to your efforts Alan that soon one of the greatest specimens ever seen will return to Earth…"

Miles: "Really Mr. Dodgson…And what is that?"

Dodgson: "I'm referring to Ultima Zeno Saurus of course, the Imperatrix my poorly informed disciple…And Soyona, are the samples ready to test for the extraction sequence?"

Soyona: "Of course they are, Dodgson….You returned to us after all. So your word around here is law."

Jenkins: "What about the girl, and the Lockwood manor that's still found on this Island? Dr. Tramare never destroyed it and the pair of Spinosaurus creatures took up residence over there…"

Dodgson: "Forget about it, Jenkins….You will take Harvest and go deal with Owen Grady, while my soldiers capture Dr. Grant. Because by this time four days from now, the entire world will regret the day they messed with Lewis Dodgson. I rebuilt Miles from square one, I even made Soyona's armor stronger….And from this point forward, much of the world will need to bow to my wishes…"

Dodgson: "After all, it was I who came up with the computer codes from the CRAY to create some of the finest specimens we have ever come in contact with….Including the Indo-Raptor. And it was my genius, not Dr. Wu's….which allowed us to transcend time and capture an entire Mastodon from Mesozoic era."

Jenkins: "That's true…(He looks at the frozen white Mastodon.) What about Ramsay?"

Dodgson: "Simple, I run the show now….If Ramsay will not turn Biosyn Valley back over to my control, I will personally release the Ultima from this Island….And I will make sure he does return it to me, as the Gods intended. I am going to show the world from this point forward, my true unhindered vision…!"

*Cross pan to large, enormous rock structure and power drill at night near the Indo-Raptor Ceremonial site on Isla Muerta which sits very near to the base of the Volcano. This has been a long time coming, and this is truly a terrifying prospect each of our explorers face. The horrifying realization sinks in, that if they do not stop Dodgson and wreck this Island….the entire world's future may prove to be very hazy indeed. This is after all a terrifying place from beyond time's shadow…this is Site C.*
