Self-Inserts all suffer one fundamental setback: they see the future once. One snapshot of a future that will swiftly go off the rails, and even then, their information is limited and flawed. Treva, future-seeing ten-year-old and distinctly not a Self-Insert, does not have this problem. She does have a lot of other problems, though. Not least of which is being a ten-year-old.
