After Ares had his little incident, Hermes went to inform their father who seemed to be acting more of a father lately, he wondered if this sudden change in his fathers attitude had something to do with percy. It seemed the young hero of Olympus was truly making the gods change, granted it seemed none of them realised it themselves but they seemed to have changed a great deal. Their children are happier, they have been going down to the camps at least once a week to spend some time with their kids. Persephone Jackson truly is making them better. Hermes knocked on his father's office door. "Come in," came the voice of the king of gods. Hermes opened the door and walked in to see his father at his desk quill in hand writing on some sort of document. Upon seeing him Zeus put down his quill and looked towards his son, "Hermes, what can I do for you?"
"Its ares,"
Zeus' face scrunched in confusion, "what about Ares?"
"He collapsed today,"
"What!"
"Yeah he was training with some of the other war gods and he seemed to get a pain in his chest then when they left they told Apollo upon seeing him and I going towards the training area. When we got there he was training on his own but as we got closer he stopped and well collapsed."
"What caused this?"
"Apollo doesn't know."
Zeus nodded his head with worry etched in his eyes, this was new Zeus never showed concern towards any of them, perhaps Percy was having an impact on him as well. Maybe that was why he gave percy that offer, maybe he saw how much of an impact that percy had on them all and wanted to thank her for it in some way. Before Zeus could answer Lady Iris rushed into his office. "Forgive me sir but you need to call an emergency meeting."
"What for?" Asked the king.
"Sir it involves Persephone Jackson." At that both gods freeze. They knew damn well that Lady Iris wouldn't bother them if it wasn't a big problem and for her to specifically mention a demigod was cause for alarm.
"Very well i shall gather everyone, is Ares well enough for this?"
Hermes nodded before flashing to get his two brothers.
They were all in the throne room when lady Iris brought a message to show them she thought it would be better than telling them. The rainbow slowly faded; they all saw Percy Jackson in the kitchen wearing a light blue hoodie black jeans and white socks. Everyone held their breaths worried about what they were going to see. When percy had pulled herself from her bed she had walked over to the door and they all watched as a stranger kidnapped the demigod. Rage filled the room even Ares felt red hot rage at the sight, everyone was in uproar until the showing changed to something else. It showed them where percy was, she was asleep in this enormous canopy bed that looked fit for a queen, the sheer size of the bed dwarfed the demigod as she lay peacefully. She did indeed look peaceful. They waited with bated breaths when they saw her wake up and pr\cticaly throw herself from the bed, they might have found it slightly amusing how she merely tumbeded from it if it wasn't for the situation she had found herself in. Ares froze at the sight of her; she was wearing an elegant nightgown, one that was not uncommon to be seen in the shops around olympus. They all watched as the ghost woman spoke to the demigod, everytime Percy seemed to become scared ares felt that same pain in his chest. Soon someone walked into the room.
with percy*
The woman had disappeared and she could hear the sound of footsteps entering the room. Immediately she swung herself from the bed to look at the person who had entered it was the stranger who had brought her here. The mask they wore was black and covered almost their entire face, they looked like something out of a nightmare.
"Well it seems the young princess of the sea has awoken," he said in a deep voice that made percy nervous and backed away as he took a step towards her.
"I'm not a princess and why have you brought me here?"
The man let out a low sinister laugh. "That is none of your concern for now,"
Percy interrupted him doing everything in her power to not appear afraid, "it is my concern there are people who will be looking for me."
"They can look but they will never find you," he said, moving closer towards her. Percy continued to back up until her back hit the wall she truly was trapped. This person was huge compared to her. He was as tall as her father and uncles who were massively tall in fact all of the gods were, percy wasn't stupid she knew she wouldn't win a fight against this guy even though every once of her body screamed at her to fight and run. "But you have nothing to fear if you do as you are told," said the person coming up to stand in front of percy. His hand reached out and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Now all you need to know is little princess,"he said the word princess in a mocking tone which made Percy shiver. She was scared she wanted her father, she wanted someone to help her, she knew that it was childish to want her father to save her but could you blame the girl. "You will remain here and do as you are told you dont there will be consequences if you do then i will be happy to give you a reward. Such as you will be allowed access to another room or something else. If you disobey you will regret it. No one will find you here, noone found the others. The others didn't do as they were told, the others also failed and well you can guess what happened to them. But you, you won't fail me, now will you." Percy felt sick, she knew that there were others here but this whole thing got so much scarier what did they fail at.
"Who said i will do anything you say," she yelled trying to find strength in the fake confidence she had.
"Ohhh such fire will get you in trouble but if you need a demonstration i will gladly obliged," the man had run his finger over her cheek as he spoke. Then he grabbed her arm and where his fingers touched a huge burning sensation shot through her body, it was like his fingers were made of fire and the scarlet flames were eating away at her skin. The pain was overwhelming as percy let out a pained yell dropping to the floor, as she did he let go of her arm. Percy cradled her arm to her chest inspecting it, there was only a red mark of their not burnt flesh like she had expected. Tears pricked at her eyes. The pain was horrific, not like anything she had felt before but she couldn't cry, not now not when she had been in worse situations. Slowly, the person knelt down towards Percy, their black cloak shifting over his knee, "you see I don't take too kindly to being spoken to like that but now you see. You disobey, you get punished, if you run your mouth you get punished, if you try to escape you will be punished. Now that was a light punishment. If you follow my instructions and don't do any of the things I just said then you won't be harmed, do you understand." percy nodded still cradling her arm avoiding eye contact. That was a light punishment, she didn't doubt that she would be punished for disobeying but she didn't think that would be a light punishment. What did this person want her for, why had all the others failed. The man reached out towards her without realising it percy flinched and subconsciously moved back only to be met with the wall. The man smiled at her reaction, clearly pleased with it. "Now that's better, you are not going to disobey me again now are you, if you do you know what will happen. Now enjoy your new home food will be sent for you and remember no escaping. I will be back soon with your first order."
Percy watched as he left her arm still burning, as the door closed she couldn't help it tears began streaming from her face, he'd be back soon with her first order, how soon that could mean a great number of things, it could be a few hours, minutes, days, weeks. She really wasn't looking forward to this order, not in the slightest.
"Please someone prove him wrong, please someone find me," percy begge through tears knowing no one could hear her. She felt weak and she hated it. If she had her powers it would be different but she didn't know she could only rely on outside help or by some miracle to escape without being caught.
back on olympus*
The olympians watched the exchange, anger rising as the events unfolded. Some goddesses were dabbing their faces with tissue at seeing their hero on the floor begging for help, it was true none of them had ever seen percy so broken before. Poseidon looked like he was going to commit crimes that would make tartarus look like a holiday destination and to be frank no one in that room would stop him in fact they would all join.
Ares felt his blood boil when the man dared to touch Percy but then when he heard her scream from pain he nearly broke the arm rests on his chair. But when the man had hurt percy he felt pain in his arm as if he himself was feeling the injury percy had gotten why would that happen?
The man's words also made him fume how he could be so cruel, it didn't matter the olympians were not going to let this slide.
