Inside a secured location, a scientist was out of breath from leaving his location. But then a portal opened, and out came a strange group consist of a girl, a strange orange creature, an anthropomorphic fox, an anthropomorphic box turtle in a wheelchair, and a man that looked like a superhero.
The scientist was shocked and asked, "Who are you people, and why did you come to my Bunker?!"
Taylor got up and replies, "Don't worry, we are friends, I am Taylor Fearbrave, and on my shoulder is Tess," she gestures to the others and said by how she gestured them, "And with us is Inspector Carmelita Fox, Bentley, and Captain Qwark."
The scientist was shocked and said, "My word, if you're last name is Fearbrave, then you're Shadow's little sister," he pauses, puts a hand to his chest and said, "I am Professor Elvin Gadd, expert in the paranormal activities, but for short just call me E. Gadd."
"Professor E. Gadd?" Carmelita asked.
"Yes," E. Gadd replied.
"A fellow believer in the paranormal," Bentley said.
E. Gadd then said, "It is great for introductions, but I need to contact some help after what happened," the scientist then used his computer trying to call someone until he got through and calls out, "Luigi!" The person, Luigi, was dressed in blue overalls, brown shoes, green shirt with a matching green hat with an L on it, screams and crawls away from something and bumps to a chair behind him. E. Gadd then said, "I need your help, sonny! It's an emergency! The ghosts have gone hostile!" Luigi rubbed his eyes and sees E. Gadd, who the latter then asked, "Ah... What are you doing on the floor?" Luigi was surprised as he gets up as E. Gadd then said, "Never mind that. I'm preparing the Pixalator!"
Taylor sees Luigi wave his and said, "No, no, no, no!"
E. Gadd then said, "Hold still, young feller!" he taps some keys, causing the screen to be blank as E. Gadd said, "Here we goooo!"
When everything was done, eventually a camera moves around, looks down then with a flash of light Luigi was pixelated into the Bunker. Bentley then said, "A Pixelator, what genius way to travel."
"Thank you, Bentley," E. Gadd said, claps at Luigi, who was looking around scared, E. Gadd continues to cheer on himself as Luigi gets up and the scientist said to the plumber, "Greetings, Luigi! I knew our paths would cross again."
Luigi looks at the other company, but then Taylor then said, "It's okay, we're friends, I am Taylor, I am Shadow's sister," Luigi was surprised at this and was happy to meet Shadow's sister, Taylor then introduced Luigi to her friends.
After the introductions E. Gadd noticed Luigi was still scared and the former said, "You seem tense, son. Relax! We're perfectly safe here in this impenetrable Bunker."
"That's a relief," Tess said, shocking E. Gad and Luigi, she looks at them and said, "Yes I can talk, before we even start on your problem E. Gadd, Taylor might tell you guys why all five of us are here."
"Right," Taylor said. She soon explains to the two about everything on what has happened, then concludes, "And that's why we're here."
"Demons, undead, animatronics and vampires, what a menagerie of things you all encountered," E. Gadd said, who then turns to Luigi and said, "Anyhoo, it's been too long, my boy! What have you been up to? I imagine you've been off adventuring with that daredevil brother of yours," he pauses than asked, "Me? Oh, I've just been continuing my research on paranormal happenings and whatnot."
"Well, if that was the case, I could tell you about my experience with paranormal activities," Bentley said remembering many past experiences of the topic when he was with either Taylor or his thieving friend Sly Cooper.
E. Gadd then said, "That's good to know, but back to what I was saying," he looks at Luigi and said, "In fact, after our last adventure with Shadow I became somewhat of an authority in the field!" He pauses then said, "But enough about that. Let me fill you in on our ghostly predicament!" E. Gadd points at a monitor with a purple outline of a crescent moon and asked, "See that on the screen? That there is the Dark Moon. It's a mysterious celestial body that has pacifying effect on all of the ghosts in Evershade Valley."
"A moon that makes ghosts docile, that really was something that could have been useful in some of the tasks with the paranormal," said Bentley.
E. Gadd then said, "Anyway, when I heard about it, I jumped at the rare chance to study ghosts in a peaceful environment. It was incredible, my friends! I was doing some of the best research of my long and storied career!" He pauses, then said, "That is, until something snapped inside the ghosts, and they suddenly got all hostile! It got so bad, I had to escape from Gloomy Manor and hide here, where the ghosts can't find me." He pauses again, then explains, "Of courses, I'm not one to sit around and twiddle my thumbs. I wanted to know why the ghosts freaked out. So, I settled in and did some research to figure out what had happened," he pauses then explains, "That's when I discovered something truly astonishing: the Dark Moon had vanished from the sky! And on top of that, the whole Evershade Valley had become enveloped in an eerie fog," he pauses, but then continued, "Now, I can't be sure, but I think the disappearance of the Dark Moon is what caused all this mess. And what a mess it is!"
"Yeah, but nothing all five of us had experience," Taylor said, giving nods to her friends.
E. Gadd then said, "Well, if we don't do something about it, the ghosts might leave this valley and terrorize the world beyond! Worse still, my research will go to waste! We can't let that happen, my friends!" he pauses, then said, "Now, I've got good news, and I've got bad news. Wait here," he pulls out and showed the group something and said, "The good news is that I found a fragment of the Dark Moon nearby!"
"So, what's the bad news?" Qwark asked.
E. Gadd replies, "The bad news is that I found a fragment of the Dark Moon nearby, meaning the thing's broken. And this Dark Moon piece seems to be corrupted by some sort of energy..."
Bentley looked at it and explained, "Whatever corrupted this fragment must've had a little bit more power to it, which is fear power."
"Meaning that whoever corrupted it used the power of a Dark Crystal, so that means the Fear Clan is involved," Carmelita added.
E. Gadd then said, "With all that, I reckon it's a disruptive energy that suppresses the Dark Moon's ability to pacify ghosts!" He pauses, then said, "But lucky for us, I've got inventions for all kinds of situations! Stand back, everyone!" E. Gadd moved something on his chair and what appears to be a record player pops up. E. Gadd puts the fragment into the machine, then four scrub brushes popped up and began scrubbing the fragment clean.
Once it was clean, Bentley said, "Ingenius design for cleaning this fragment!"
E. Gadd then turned to his computer, types some keys, chuckles and said, "I've done it, everyone! It seems the regained its original power!" He then asked, "And did you all hear that wooshing noise outside, youngsters? Let me check my instruments," Luigi then points at E. Gadd and spins his index finger with a 'hoo-hoo' noise, telling the group that E. Gadd might be crazy, earning him a smack to the back of the head by Carmelita. E. Gadd then said, "Criminy!"
"What is it?" Taylor asked.
"All the fog around this Bunker... is gone!" E. Gadd replied.
Tess said, "Well, now we can see a little better."
E. Gadd then said, "Quick! Let's take a look at a map of Evershade Valley."
Everyone looks at a map of the area and sees a pulsing icon of a house. Bentley then said, "It seems not only the fog around the Bunker was cleared, so was the fog surrounding that area."
"You're right, Bentley!" E. Gadd said, looks to the plumber and asked, "Luigi, do you know what this means? We should be able to reach the Gloomy Manor now!" He pauses, then said, "But more importantly, it means that restoring the Dark Moon will solve all our problems! If we find all the Dark Moon pieces, the fog in the valley will vanish and the ghosts will return to normal."
"But?" Carmelita asked.
E. Gadd replies, "But until then, all those ghosts will need to be contained. That's where you come in, Luigi," the plumber looks at this with a questioning look as E. Gadd explains, "Why, you're the best ghost wrangler I know, son!" he pauses, then said, "Coincidentally, you, along with Shadow are also the only ghost wranglers I know..." Luigi was really scared at this as E. Gadd asked, "So, what do you say, young feller? Will you help me capture the ghosts and restore the Dark Moon?" Luigi wasn't feeling like it from how he's acting, but E. Gadd chuckles a bit and said, "Of course you will! It'll be like old times!"
"And we will do whatever we can to help as well," Taylor said.
Everyone looks at the monitor of Gloomy Manor, but then E. Gadd then asked at a scared Luigi, "What're ya scared of sonny? It's just a few harmless ghosts," he pauses and said, "Well...a few hundred ghosts. And they're not exactly harmless," he looks at everyone, and said, "But looky here- With everyone here, my brains and your...ah...your..." E. Gadd was trying to think of something.
"His what?" Tess asked.
E. Gadd hums, then said, "We're in a bit of a pickle here, aren't we?"
"That is a bit true, but we been through a few pickles in the past," Bentley said.
E. Gadd nodded, then said, "Well, the only way out of this mess is to restore the Dark Moon," he looks at the group, and said, "Which means you all are going to need some ghost hunting gear, my friends!" He pauses and said, "And wouldn't you know it-I left my new Poltergust 5000 somewhere inside the Gloomy Manor."
"Well, that isn't good," Qwark said.
E. Gadd then said to Luigi, "So now that I've cleared that blasted fog from around the place, I'm sending you in after it!" He moves his hands a bit and reached somewhere on his chair to show what looks like a handheld gaming device, which flips open and turn on as he asked Luigi, "Look familiar? This customized DS has an interactive map of the Gloomy Manor on it. It'll also allow me to communicate with Luigi while you all are exploring."
"That is very creative, I definitely need to make something that can even show a map of future locations in the binoc-u-coms," Bentley said.
E. Gad gave Luigi the DS, who puts it away, but then the scientist gave the plumber a flashlight, which the latter stumbles and managed to grab it while the former said, "And it's mighty dark in there, so one of you'll want this flashlight," Luigi puts it on his back, then E. Gad said, "OK, youngster. Let's test the DS!" Soon a jingle was being heard which Luigi answers it for it came from the DS, E. Gadd then said, "All righty. I'm gonna go ahead and mark an important location for you," Taylor and Luigi look at the DS and see the marker, then E. Gadd said, "That's the Garage. I think that's where I left the Poltergust 5000."
Luigi puts the DS away then Taylor said, "There won't be any problems, Luigi, since me and Tess are going with you to help."
E. Gadd then asked, "You three ready?" Taylor nodded which made the scientist say, "I'll zap you three to the Gloomy Manor with my new and largely untested Pixelator!"
"Untested?!" Tess asked in shock.
"Let's hope all of the pixels make it this time," E. Gadd said and chuckling.
"Wait, what?" Taylor asked.
"Hang on girls! And hold on to your mustache, Luigi!" E. Gadd said while he used the stick on his chair causing the monitor with Gloomy Manor on it to pixelate Taylor, Tess and Luigi into the monitor while E. Gadd chuckles.
After a few seconds Taylor, Tess, and Luigi were all in one piece while in the air. Luigi shakes his head and said, "Here we, go-ow!" while he said that the trio fell to the ground, while Taylor landed on her feet with Tess on her shoulder, Luigi wasn't so fortunate and fell on his bottom.
Taylor helps him up and said, "Okay, let's get to work," Luigi nods and they began their journey.
They went up to some iron gates, which opened by themselves, and once the trio passed them, they closed very fast and loud, making Taylor and Tess jump while scaring Luigi as they look back at the shut gates. Suddenly they heard a jingle, which Luigi knows is the DS, he opens and asked, "Hello?"
They see E. Gadd's face and the scientist said, "Luigi? Come in, Luigi. You there with Taylor and Tess, young feller?" E. Gadd looks and said, "Ah, there you three are! I was worried that the battery died in the DS," he pauses and said, "But I turned the screen brightness down, so it should be good for a while."
"So, what's the reason of calling? Just testing to see if it works?" Tess asked.
E. Gadd replies, "Luigi looks a little nervous. Try to loosen up a bit, son."
"Well, you would be nervous if some iron gates closed by themselves very fast," Taylor stated.
E. Gadd was silent, but then said, "Be that as it may, tiptoeing about won't get us anywhere. You guys can also run as well. Now get a move on!"
Luigi agreed and said, "Ciao," and closed the DS.
They began running up the stairs of the manor when they heard some noises from a window. They went to it and saw some green blobs of light. The trio went to the window to see what is in there.
Inside the room they see a green ghost from Taylor's vision in an old-fashioned car honking its horn. A second green ghost appeared and went into it as the first one looked serious as if he was driving the car. The car began to shake, causing the driver to be confused and out of the hood where the motor for the car should be the second ghost took out a green bulb while making a noise as if saying, 'yoohoo.' The driver laughs as it flies out of the car while following the second ghost which leaves to another area.
After they stopped looking in the window, the trio went to the door, which was locked. Tess soon said, "Looks like we need a key to get into the manor," Tess turns around and saw a little blue mouse with a key tied to its tail, causing her to say, "There's one!"
Luigi and Taylor look to see the mouse, paused for a bit, but then Luigi screams in terror upon seeing the mouse, causing him to drop his flashlight. As Luigi picks up his flashlight, Taylor then said, "Get that mouse!"
The chase was on until Luigi got the key while the mouse scurries away through the gate. The trio went back to the doors and Luigi used the key to unlock the doors. The trio was surprised when the key vanishes after being used, but Luigi opened the door, points his flashlight inside, looks around asked, "Hello?" He goes into the manor with Taylor and Tess following him.
The door behind them soon slammed closed, surprising the trio, Taylor soon said, "Man, I am starting to hate it when those doors do that!"
The trio went left to go into the garage. Luigi decided to look into the car where the motor is, and inside they find what looks like a vacuum cleaner. Luig takes and holds it up high, Tess then said, "This must be that Poltergust 5000 E. Gadd told us to find."
Luigi then puts it on, put his mouth into the area where stuff goes in and said that made his voice echoey, "I do it," he then dances a bit but bumps into the car, causing the hood to close and a pile of dust to block the way out. Taylor and Tess were about to say something when the jingle was playing, meaning E. Gadd was calling from the DS. Luigi takes it out and asked, "Hello?"
E. Gadd replies, "Ah, you've all found it! Good work, you three."
"That we did," Taylor said.
E. Gadd said, "That there is the new-and-improved Poltergust 5000! It's simple to use, Luigi, since you are familiar from using the previous Poltergust. Before you all go hunting ghosts, why don't you test it out on some of the junk in that room, Luigi?" he pauses, then said, "Go on! Give 'er a whirl!"
"Ciao," Luigi said and puts away the DS.
Taylor soon heard Bentley's voice saying, "Taylor, I contacted Shadow to find some materials so we all will help Luigi with our own Poltergusts, with some help from E. Gadd. In the meantime, press on with Luigi, for when the time comes, Shadow might give you a new ability."
"Roger, Bentley," Taylor said.
She and Tess watch as Luigi was testing the Poltergust while looking around, which he used to vacuum up some dust and some coins Taylor sees hanging on top of them. After a few seconds, Luigi vacuumed up a tarp to reveal a chest, which he opens to reveal a key which he picks up. The jingle suddenly went off again, so Luigi answers the DS and asked, "Hello?"
E. Gadd came on and asked, "How are you liking the Poltergust 5000 so far, Luigi? Not too shabby, eh? Just wait until you catch some ghosts with the thing! In fact, there should be a few nearby..." he pauses for a bit then said, "As for what Bentley told you, Taylor, Shadow will bring stuff that will he and I will use to make some more Poltergusts, which will benefit on what their weaponry looks like. You all will thank me later!"
"Ciao," Luigi said as he hangs up and puts away the DS and continues to use the vacuum to get some coins, then all three looked into a window where the ghosts went through.
Outside the trio see the two green ghosts from before playing catch with the bulb one of them took. However, one of them was about to throw it but the other flinched, distracting it so it will really throw it, and the bulb went through the one that flinched and shattered a window, and laughed. The ghost that got trick glared at the ghost that tricked him, causing the latter to flinch and shrugged its shoulders while the from face palms until they both went into the area where the bulb went.
After having enough looking, Taylor then said, "I think that bulb might be important, we better get it as soon as we can," Tess and Luigi nodded in agreement and went out of the garage after Luigi vacuumed up more dust. They were back in the entrance hall, where Luigi used the vacuum to get more coins and a fake door tarp to reveal a real door which they went into. In this new room Luigi used the vacuum to make a rug roll up to reveal a pressure plate, which he presses on to cause a wall below a window to open to reveal some coins, dollar bills and a few gold bars. Luigi checked a drawer before use the vacuum on a fan, causing it to spin until another key came off one of its blades, which he grabs and caused some spiders to come down, but after a few seconds they went back up before Luigi can vacuum them. Next, he vacuumed up some coats, which revealed some dollar bills, then a cobweb that blocked some coins which were vacuumed up as well before the trio left the room.
Back at the entrance hall, Luigi used one of the keys to unlock the two doors between the two suits of armor, which the key vanishes as the last one, and the group entered a dark hallway. In the hallway they see the two green ghosts, causing Tess to say, "There's the bulb!" as they see one ghost tossing it up and down while they are happy, but then it sees them and the other as well. The ghost with the bulb tosses it to the ghost without it, but it tossed it back but tossed it back until the latter gave the bulb to the former, who groans in defeat and they both flew off to the next room.
"There they go again with the bulb," Taylor said, the group went off, but then a suit of armor came to life, causing the group to get out of the way as it drops down a sword on them. Taylor then shouts, "Make a mad dash to the other doors!" The trio did while avoiding the swords and Luigi used the last key, they had to unlock the next doors, which soon disappeared after being used, and went to the next area.
Inside the area, the trio look around in the dark, which of course Luigi was a bit scared at this, but gasps as the trio see the two green ghosts float down. One pointed up and the trio see the bulb on a chandelier where a candle should go. The ghosts laugh but then looked at the trio and were shocked and flew off to a doo that was locked without a key.
"Well, this is a bit of a problem," Taylor said.
The trio went to the door and notice a panel that has a green circle similar to the bulb. Tess then said, "Looks like we need the bulb for that panel."
Suddenly they hear the jingle again, which Luigi takes out the DS and asked, "Hello?"
E. Gadd appeared on the screen and replies, "My friends, do you see that green circular panel on the wall?"
"Funny, we were wondering about that," Taylor replies.
E. Gadd then said, "Well, it unlocks the door. All you've gotta do, Luigi is flash it with the-" he notices something and said, "Criminy! The Poltergust 5000 is missing the Strolbulb! You guys won't be able to open that door without it."
"So that's what's that bulb called," Tess said.
E. Gadd then said, "Those pesky ghosts must've hid it somewhere. It looks like a little green lightbulb," he shows the trio the picture of the Stolbulb, then said, "Find it, posthaste!"
"Ciao," Luigi said and puts away the DS.
"Well, we did find it, but question is how do we get it?" Taylor asked.
Luigi goes upstairs and went to the chandelier, thinks about something, but then used the Poltergust to make a fan above the chandelier to move. As the fan moves the chandelier was lowered down to the floor below. Taylor and Tess see this, causing the latter to say, "Great idea, Luigi, keep lowering it," after the chandelier was close to the girls Tess takes the Strolbulb and said, "I got it!"
Once Luigi comes down to join the girls, Tess gives him the Strolbulb and screws it into a hole on the Poltergust, which glows making the group happy. Luigi puts the Poltergust back on him. Luigi gets his flashlight, which was now attached to the Poltergust, and it begins to build up a power of light which comes out with a big flash, blinding him a bit. The trio heard the jingle again, making Luigi take out the DS and ask, "Hello?"
E. Gadd was on and said, "Whoa there, feller! Don't go flashing yourself with that! The Strolbub isn't a toy - it's a powerful tool! For one thing, it can activate any of my inventions that feature green circular panels. And it's mighty easy to use: just aim and press the button on the flashlight turn it on to flash. Try it on the nearby door!"
"Ciao," Luigi said and puts away the DS, and went off to where the trio came in, making Taylor and Tess follow him in confusion.
Tess then asked, "Hey Luigi, where are we going?"
The girls followed him until they were outside, there Luigi was using the Poltergust to vacuum some dust and revealing coins and gold bars. He even used the Strolbulb to flash a bud, making it bloom and spit out lots of coins, dollar bills and two gold bars. Next, he flashes three more flowers and got some dollar bills and gem. The jingle went off again, so Luigi takes out the DS and asked, "Hello?"
E. Gadd's face was shown and asks, "Doing some gemstone hunting on the side, eh, feller? Can't say I blame you. Those gems are one of a kind! Worth a fortune, I recon! But remember: you all have a job to do! You'll have time to look at your gems later in the Vault. Carry on, youngsters."
"Ciao," Luigi said before hanging up and putting away the DS. He uses the Strolbulb to flash to make one more flower bloom, causing it to spit out some dollar bills, before the trio returned to the mansion. Luigi led the trio to back to room where the key on the fan was. Luigi uses the Strolbulb to flash on a panel, which causes the panel to activate and move some bars that blocked the door. The jingle went off again, so Luigi took out the DS and asked, "Hello?"
E. Gadd said once his face appeared on the DS, "That's the ticket, sonny! But there's more:"
"What else can the Strolbulb do, Professor?" Tess asked.
"The Strolbulb allows you to stun ghosts by flashing them. Only then can they be captured," E. Gadd replies, pauses then asked, "Got that? Now, go give those paranormal dust bunnies what for!"
"Ciao," Luig said before putting away his DS.
Taylor notices something at a corner where a painting on the floor is, she finds out it is actually an Ability Sphere, she looks at it and sees what the ability is.
She sees a stick figure holding a long stick in a hand, and next another stick figure with one leg curving up. Taylor next sees the first stick figure move the long stick and a long-curved line appeared with a spider web, catching and trapping the second stick figure.
Taylor told everyone what she saw, which caused Shadow to say from her binoc-u-com, "That Taylor is called the Soul Snatcher, similar to the Soul Slam on your Soul Robber, the Soul Snatcher will let your Soul Robber to capture ghosts and trapping them, making it easier for Luigi to use the Poltergust to stun and capture the ghosts."
"Thanks for the info, Shadow," Taylor said and she, Tess and Luigi continued on.
The trio went to a window where that wall opened with lots of treasure when they first were in the room to see what's in it.
They see what ghost dog digging up something, which turns out to be another gemstone, but it was a different shape. The dog plays with it but then throws it up a tree and leaves the area.
They trio stopped looking.
Luigi decided to go off to the door he opened with the Strolbulb with Taylor and Tess following him. There they found some mice, one that was golden, Luigi flashes them and they turned into coins while the golden one turned into a gold bar. Luig next used the Poltergust to get the circle gemstone.
Tess then said, "Okay, I think we're done here. So, unless we need to get more stuff, can get those ghosts?" Taylor and Luigi nodded and went back inside.
After going through rooms, and avoiding the hazards, they were back in the big room where they got the Strolbulb. There Luigi used the Strolbulb to unlock a panel but then went upstairs and used it on a wall safe, which gave him more money. After getting the money the trio went into the next room. Inside, Luigi first vacuumed up some coats and a piece of wallpaper and got some treasure. Taylor looked and said, "This toilet shouldn't be here," she begins to think until Luigi looks into the toilet, until the lid hits him, then sits in it, but then the wall with the toilet moved and they were in a bathroom. Taylor sees Luig in a sink, causing her to say while grabbing his legs, "Hang on, Luigi, I'll get you out!" After a few seconds Luigi's head was out of the sink and water sprayed on him.
He then gets on the floor and dries himself and begins to vacuum a mat under him. Tess sees this, and said, "Luigi, I wouldn't do that if I were-" the mat was vacuumed up, causing the plumber to flip, while the ottsel finishes, "you," the mat revealed a drain where some more treasure came out, which Luigi vacuums up.
Next the plumber vacuums a shower curtain and revealed a green ghost showering. The ghost and Luigi scream, while the former runs but hits a wall. Taylor then said, "Sorry for disturbing your shower." The ghost floats away to the wall where the other room they came in was. Taylor soon said, "Come on, we got to get him!" Before Luigi did, he vacuumed up a towel reveal a secret stash that gave them more treasure, then all three went back into the other room. As they were back in the other room, they head for the door but a green ghost to scare them, which Luigi screams as the ghost chuckles while some purple aura blocks their path. Taylor soon said, "Looks like we need to capture the ghosts to get through," she thinks and said, "This gives me the chance to try the new Soul Snatcher ability," she uses her Soul Robber, and a huge web appeared, snaring the ghost that tried to scare her and Tess, giving Luigi the chance to use the Strolbulb to flash and stunned the ghost. Luigi soon began to vacuum the ghost, even shocking it a bit until it went into the vacuum with coins.
Another ghost appeared in front of where the coats were. Taylor used the Soul Snatcher again and Luigi used the Strolbulb to stun it and vacuumed it, giving them more coins. The lights came on, Luigi pumps his flashlight arm and said, "Oh yeah!"
The aura vanished, causing Tess to say, now we can leave this area," the trio went to the door to go back to the big room.
The trio found out it was dark again and they see three more ghosts. One was making a mess while two were taking a bath in the fountain. Taylor flings the Soul Robber, snaring all three, who then struggled, but Luigi flashed the Strolbulb on them, stunning them, then vacuumed them. One more ghost appeared and, but Luigi stunned it and captured it, giving the group more coins. The lights came on and the auras vanished. Taylor then said, "This Soul Snatcher ability really is good."
Suddenly they all heard the familiar jingle, Luigi takes out the DS and asked, "Hello?"
E. Gadd's face appeared and said, "That's the spirit, you three, especially you, Luigi! Literally!" E. Gadd laughs and asked, "Just like old times with Taylor's brother, eh feller? All right, that's enough for now. I'll bring you three back to the Bunker."
"Ciao," Luigi said, hanging up, spinning the DS back into his pocket, dusted his hand and jumps up and the Poltergust sprouts out confetti, and said, "We did it!"
But then a monitor appeared and with a message:
MISSION COMPLETE!
Next the monitor flashes and the trio began to be pixelated.
The trio were back in the Bunker, where E. Gadd clapped, then said, "You all made it back! And with all your pixels to boot!" Luigi wipes his head as E. Gadd continues, "Good work, you three. We might just make it out of this mess. Let's see what you sucked up with the Poltergust 5000," Luigi agrees, then the scientist pointed down and a hose came up, surprising the plumber, who puts the piece of the vacuum in, then a small monitor showed what they got, which were first the circle and triangle gems, the green ghost and up to 686 worth of treasure.
"You really have many inventions as I do, E. Gadd," Bentley states.
"Thank you, Bentley," E. Gadd said, spins and said to everyone, "Incredible! I'll start studying these ghosts posthaste," Luigi was wondering something, then the scientist asked, "Eh? Wondering where that pipe goes?" he pauses and said, "All the stuff you all collect goes to a super-safe Vault below. It's a good idea to visit it often to check your progress and see the results of my studies. I've got ghost descriptions, hints... even each ghost's spectral mass! Knowledge is power, after all!"
"You got that right, knowledge can truly be powerful," Bentley comments.
E. Gadd then said, "OK, I'll scan the Gloomy Manor in search of paranormal signals. I recon the ghost that took the other Dark Moon pieces is hiding in there."
"That's good, we need to learn more of the Fear Clan member's motives," Bentley states.
It took a long time, but I finished the next chapter at last. Though I am not to say this, but I can't take any picture requests for my stories, unless they can be free, which won't happen. Back to this, what will Taylor, her friends, and Luigi be facing in this next adventure?
