F3: Welcome to chapter 3 of Volume 6 of my RWBY story. We left off with the Ruby and her group survived the train explosion and are now heading to Adam home as all the while Coco is devising her own plans. With that said Let's Get Started.

Volume 6-3: Home Again.

It was about thirty minutes after the back train cars had been severed so that the others could deal with the grimm so that they weren't being chased by them. However, Yang was pacing back and forth hoping to get some kind of call from her mother or even Ruby to see if they were alright.

"Yang your pacing isn't helping and it's making the rest of us worried." Jaune said trying to get Yang to stop.

"I know I'm sorry it's just… mom hasn't opened a portal and it's been a half hour since then. I just hope that they're okay." Yang replied with worry in her voice.

"We get it Yang. I'm worried about Neo and hoping that she's okay but we know that they're both fighters so I'm sure they'll be okay." Star replied.

"Your mother is a strong woman Yang. Just have some patients." Summer said trying to calm her nieces' nerves putting a hand on her shoulder.

"So, what's the plan when we get to Argus? I'm not exactly familiar with that place?" May questioned expressing her concerns.

"Well… me and Jaune are both from Argus so we can go visit our families. They're probably worried about us." Iona replied.

"Yeah. Sis is probably worried sick about me." Jaune added.

"Okay so first thing when we get to Argus, we meet up with Jaune and Ionas family and wait it out till we hear something from Raven or Ruby. Sound like a plan." Summer replied as everyone agreed.

"Just as long we get off this train then I'm all for it." Pepper said trying to keep herself calm from the enclosed space she was in as the train sped toward the terminal ahead of them. After about another ten minutes on the train it eventually came into the terminal and came to a stop as the passengers along with Summer and the others got off the train with Pepper eager to get off train and into open space.

"Finally… air." Pepper said with relief in her voice.

"You really don't like enclosed spaces, do you?" May added.

"Nope. Try being in a locked closet for an entire night and then you'll see what I mean." Pepper stated firmly.

"Alright you two. C'mon it's a bit of a walk toward Saphrons home and boy isn't she in for a surprise." Jaune replied.

"You guys can go their… I'm going to check up on mom and my brother." Iona said.

"You wouldn't mind some company?" May asked.

"Sure. Anyone else want to come with?" Iona asked.

"I'll go. You haven't talked about your mother much." Star said.

"I'll join as well. I'm kind of curious." Pepper replied.

Blake leaned toward Yang a moment as she whispered, "Aren't they in for a surprise." Blake whispered.

"Alright we'll meet back up in an hour. Jaune lead the way." Summer said as he, Nora, Blake, Summer, and Yang followed Jaune while Star, Pepper and May followed Iona toward their respective homes.

=RWBY=

Meanwhile trudging through the snow in the Winter Forest Adam and the group were making their way to his old home with Adam and Weiss leading them while Cardin and Oscar were carrying a sled with an unconscious Raven on it while Neo, Velvet, and Ruby hung back making sure no grimm got to them.

"How much further?" Weiss asked.

"Not far now. Judging by these trees it shouldn't be far now. About ten minutes from here." Adam replied before glancing back to Cardin and Oscar.

"How's she looking you two?" Adam asked.

"She's still out of it but breathing. We just need to get her warm." Cardin replied.

"The quicker we do that the quicker she can recover." Oscar added.

"Alright. We're almost there." Adam replied as they continued to march forward without delay.

After ten more minutes of walking the group eventually a farmhouse came into view as they approached it.

The farm itself consisted of a large two-story farmhouse, several greenhouses flanking a cobblestone drive leading to a large house with a red metal gate with an arch at the entrance. In the back are rows of grape plants along with trees as well that are bearing fruits.

On the sign read 'Taurus Vineyard' but it has been faded and rusted.

"Wow this is… huge." Weiss said rather impressed by the size of it.

"It's… a vineyard. Your family ran a vineyard." Velvet added.

"Yeah, for a long time too. We've had a few employees that helped as well but that was a long time ago." Adam said as he went to open the metal gate as they walked toward the farmhouse. To Adam it was like memories of the past playing before him remembering every detail about his old home but looking at it, it's a shell of its former self.

"Take her inside. There's a fireplace there we can use. The firewood's out back." Adam said as Oscar and Cardin took Raven inside with Ruby and Neo stepping behind them.

"I'll go get the firewood." Velvet said.

"Let me help you." Weiss offered as she followed Velvet to the back of the farmhouse. For Adam he looked outside of his old home before taking a breath as he stepped inside for the first time in a long time. When he stepped inside, he noticed a change. Inside is a large front hall with a staircase leading to the second floor of the home. To the left of the hallway leads to the kitchen while the right leads to the main room of the house.

Right now, everything was off as there was currently no power in the building.

Adam went to the right seeing Cardin and Oscar gently placing Raven on the couch letting her sleep as she is still recovering with Ruby checking on her and Neo.

"Weiss and Velvet should be back here with the firewood. I'll see about getting power back on to this place. Cardin, Oscar can you guys gather kindling. So old branches would do fine." Adam said.

"Yeah, no problem." Cardin said as the two left the room leaving Ruby to tend to Raven and Neo.

"How's she doing?" He asked.

"Nothing yet. She's been unconscious for an hour now. I hope she wakes up soon." Ruby said.

"She will. Just give it some time Ruby." Adam said reassuring the young teen as she could do was wait.

Velvet and Weiss returned with an armload of firewood each along with the kindling Cardin and Oscar got. It didn't take long for the fireplace to get started as the flames roared to life, warming up the area around them. All the while Adam found the generator to power the house for a while until they could get other means of transportation to get to Argus.

"So, what's the plan now?" Cardin asked.

"We wait until Raven wakes up and then we'll get another transportation to Argus. The others are worried stiff about what happened on the train." Adam answered.

Ruby took out her scroll for a moment to talk with Penny.

"Penny. You have a signal for communication?" Ruby asked.

"Negative. We're still far away from any viable signal tower." Penny answered.

This made Ruby groan at this seeing at they might be stuck at the farmhouse for a while till her aunt wakes up.

"So… I'm rather curious about something." Weiss said.

"About what?" Oscar asked.

"The relic mostly. When we were on the train Summer mentioned that the grimm were attracted to the relic." Weiss replied as she got up and looked directly at Oscar.

"Care to explain that Ozpin?" Weiss asked addressing the old headmaster.

Just then Oscar's eyes changed color just briefly in which meaning Ozpin was now in control.

"While I am uncertain why the grimm are drawn to the relic personally. I do have reason to believe that it might be due to their origin. Regardless of that I fear that telling you will only add to the anxiety and negativity which only draw more grimm to us. For now, I believe its best that I hang on to it." Ozpin said reaching for the relic only to be snatched by Cardin.

"Yeah, why do I get the feeling you're just hiding something from us." Cardin stated.

Ozpin only sighed as he reached out his hand "Mr. Winchester please hand over the relic. This is not the time for playing games." Ozpin ordered.

"This isn't a game Oz and I'm with Weiss on this. I think you have something that you're hiding from us." Cardin added holding onto the relic firmly.

Ozpin sigh "You don't know what you have in your hands young man." Ozpin said trying to reach for it.

"What do you not trust us?" Cardin asked which made Ozpin freeze a moment.

"As a matter of fact, I don't. Being around for so long like me has taught me many things. Such has the human mind can be twisted to betray those that they've put their trust in. I've already witnessed that one too many times." Ozpin said.

"Like with Lionheart. Someone you trusted in your inner circle and yet he was working with Salem this entire time." Weiss stated.

"Lionheart was a great man even before Salem found him. What he has done was reprehensible that is no lie, but we all have regrets that we have done and that is something we cannot take away." Ozpin replied.

"Then did you know about my team?" Velvet questioned looking down at the floor, her hands molding into fists.

"Did you know about Fox, Yatsu, and even Coco. Did you know that they were working for the enemy? For Salem?" Velvet asked, her voice slightly raised before she lifted her head and glared at him.

Ozpin didn't even bother answering the question as all she could do was glare at him.

"So, you did know? And you did nothing!" Velvet shouted as she wanted to approach him but Weiss stopped her from doing so.

Ruby then got up from her aunt's side and stood directly in front of Cardin facing Ozpin.

"No more lies Ozpin. I thought we agreed to that." Ruby said firmly.

"I'm sorry Ruby but you must understand that my behavior is from experience. The reason I kept you all at an arms-length is because I have no reason to fully trust you all. If Lionheart can betray then the same can be said about all of you." Ozpin replied harshly making them all stop.

"You think we'd betray you… for what reason do we have to betray you." Ruby said.

"I don't know that for sure Ruby. So I'm going to ask again to please hand over-"Ozpin started but then he held his hand feeling Oscar take back control but only just.

"Oscar is that you?" Ruby asked.

"I can't keep him back long. He's afraid of… what you'll find out… what he's hiding. Her name is Jinn. Say her name to summon her. Hurry!" Oscar replied trying to hold Ozpin back.

"Her name?" Ruby said holding the relic in her hands before turning to the others who only nodded.

"Jinn." Ruby said aloud as the relic glowed released a blue mist around them as it then started to rise before revealing a glowing blue skinned woman with pointed ears. She has flowing dark blue hair as she wears a gold chain headdress, big hooped earrings, a choker, gold cuffs on her wrists with chains dangling from them along with a bracelet on her left forearm, anklets, and a belt of chains around her waist that ends in a large ring with three prongs. She has dark blue sclerae and pupils and lighter blue irises. But one thing that they all could see is that she was completely nude except for the wisp-like smoke that resembles a skirt of a dress.

The woman seemed to stretch out her arms like was just waking up from a long nap.

"Wonderful." The woman said looking down at the children in front of them.

"Tell me… what answers do you seek?" The blue skinned woman questioned her tone sounding curiously.

Meanwhile back in Argus Jaune and his group were walking toward his sister's home and luckily thanks to him they were able to figure out where it was as they shortly arrived at his sister's home.

"This is where she lives?" Yang asked.

"Yep. Oh, and fair warning she can be very hospitable to newcomers." Jaune replied.

"It's not like were not used to it." Nora said as Jaune knocked on the door and immediately heard footsteps coming toward the door. The door opened revealing the blonde-haired woman with blue eyes as she immediately gasped seeing who was in front of her.

"Um… hey Saph good to see… whoa!" Jaune started but was immediately brought into a hug from the older girl.

"Where in the world have been you big dolt?" Saphron questioned holding back tears.

Jaune immediately returned the embrace hugging his sister.

"Sorry if I worried you sis but I'm okay now." Jaune said calming her sister. She eventually let him and wiped away her tears as she collected herself.

"I'm just glad that you're alright and not dead." She added with a happy smile on her face but she then noticed the others standing behind him.

"Oh, I'm sorry you must be Jaune's friends. I'm Saphron Arc. Jaune's older sister." Saphron introduced herself.

"It's a pleasure to meet you ma'am but wouldn't be all right if we do introductions inside. It's nippy out here." Summer replied.

"Of course. Please come inside." Saphron said as everyone piled inside into the living room. After a round of introductions later Saphron came back from the kitchen with warm cups of hot chocolate.

"So, tell me what exactly happened after Beacon was attacked. I heard it wasn't very good." Saphron asked.

"To be honest sis, everything just happened so quickly that we barely had time to figure out what was going on. We got the alert about grimm attacking and next thing we know we were evacuating the civilians. It was utter chaos." Jaune described.

"That's an understatement." Nora chipped with a growl.

"I'm sorry about what happened to your team Jaune. I saw on the news of who had all died in that attack. It's not easy to expect the loss of someone." Saphron replied placing a hand on Jaunes knee before looking to Nora.

"We appreciate it Mrs. Arc. It was tough losing a friend of ours like Pyrrha and Ren." Yang replied.

"Please call me Saphron or Saph." Saphron said but then she remembered something or more like someone.

"Oh, there's someone I want to introduce to you all. Be right back." Saphron said as she got up before heading upstairs.

"Wonder who she's bringing? Maybe a boyfriend." Blake said.

"Boyfriend! If it is then I want to have a stern talking with this guy." Jaune said, having a protective scowl on his face.

"Calm down Jaune. If it is then we should at least be kind to the man." Summer replied.

Jaune calmed down as he sat back down on the couch. However, Yang noticed on the mantle of the fireplace a picture that looked like Saphron in a wedding dress standing next to… another woman wearing a tuxedo as Yang tried to recall the woman.

"She looks familiar but where have I seen her before?" Yang thought as Saphron came down from upstairs holding a two-year-old infant in her arms.

"Everyone this is my son Adrian." Saphron introduced as the infant stared at their guests as he cutely waved to them.

"Awe! He's so cute!" Nora said staring cutely at the infant.

"He's adorable Saph." Blake added as Saphron sat down, setting Adrian in her lap as he watched curiously at the guests.

"Wait, you're married. Why wasn't I told anything?" Jaune asked.

Saphron sighed "I'm afraid that's my fault Jaune. It was a spur of the moment and I wanted to invite you along with the rest of the family but after my fallout with dad… it just didn't feel right. I'm sorry." Saphron apologized.

"Hey it's okay. I understand. Gives me more of a reason to see who the husband is right." Jaune replied.

"Well, it's more like a second wife actually." Saphron added with a giggled which confused the others but Yang was still looking at the wedding photo carefully but then it suddenly hit her of who the woman was in the tuxedo.

"Wait a minute… now I remember." Yang said.

"Remember what Yang?" Summer asked.

"That woman in the photo standing next to Saph. That's Harriet." Yang answered.

Saph only nodded "Yep. My little bunny but how do you know her?" Saphron questioned as Adrian played with Nora and Blake.

"She was me and my sister's babysitter back on Patch a long time ago. Whenever our parents would be out on a mission she'd come over and watch us. She was like a second aunt to us. Wonder what she's up to now?" Yang questioned pondering a moment.

"Well, to surprise you all she's actually a member of the Ace Ops." Saphron said surprising everyone.

"The Ace Ops. That's quite impressive." Summer said.

"Yeah, I'm very proud of her. She was here about a few months ago actually. We got to spend a few hours together before having to be called back but there are times, I wish she'd stay for good you know and spend more time with me and with Adrian." Saphron replied.

"I'm sure she can make time. Besides I still need to have a chance to meet her." Jaune said as the group continued to talk about all the things that had happened and about other things in their lives.

=RWBY=

Meanwhile Iona and the others were walking toward her home as they entered the west section of Argus. Luckily Iona still remembered where her house was as they were now standing in front of it much to the surprise of her team and May.

"This is a big place. Are you sure we're in the right place?" Star asked.

"Yeah. Just be ready." Iona said as she knocked on the door. Footsteps can be heard from behind it as then the door opened revealing a twelve-year-old tiger faunus boy as he gasped in surprise but then lunged at her in an embrace.

"Sis! You're back!" The boy cheered.

"Good to see you too Lyon. Now where's mom?" Iona asked.

"Oh, she's in the kitchen with Miss Nikos." Lyon said.

Hearing that Pyrrha's mother was there pulled a little on Iona's heart reminding herself of Pyrrha.

"Let's go inside." Iona said as the four of them entered the home Lyon went to the kitchen to tell mother.

"Mom. Sis is back!" Lyon called out as the four followed him to the kitchen.

There by the stove was Sienna Khan as she was standing there now dressed in a dark blue short-sleeved shirt and black jeans. Her hair looked damp like she had gotten out of the shower recently.

Sitting at the table was Athena Nikos. She was dressed in a dark crimson long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. Her hair was out of its signature ponytail as it flowed down her black.

Sienna turned a moment her amber eyes now staring at Iona and her group. Just then she stopped what she was doing and walked toward Iona stopping right in front of her.

"Is this Sienna Khan? Wow she looks intimidating in person." Star thought for a moment, getting a good look at the tiger faunus in front of them.

"Blake said that she was the high leader of the White Fang before stepping down. Now she's a mother." Pepper thought while May only looked on.

"Hey mom… I'm back." Iona greeted as then Sienna embraced her daughter wrapping her in her arms holding her close.

"Welcome home." Sienna said holding back a tear in her eyes.

"I was worried that my message didn't get to you in time but after I heard the news about Haven, I just knew that you were alright." She added.

"I know mom. Thank you for worrying about me." Iona said as they separated from the embrace before turning to the others.

"Mom, I want you to meet some friends of mine." She added gesturing to her friends.

"This is my partner and leader of the team Star Azure Schnee." Iona introduced.

"Pleasure to meet you ma'am. The whole Schnee thing is complicated so I won't bore with the details." Star replied.

"I'm sure it is." Sienna replied.

"This is my teammate, Pepper Orion. She's a loyal friend to us and a great teammate on which we can rely." Iona commented.

This made Pepper blush slightly at the small praise "You don't have to put it like that you know." Pepper said.

"And finally, May Zedong. She's from Vacou but she decided to come along anyway." Iona stated.

"It's nice to meet you ma'am. Though I must admit Argus looks better than Vacou." May commented.

"It takes some time to get used to the weather around here. But it's good to see all of you made it here in one piece." Sienna replied.

"Hey! What about me!?" Lyon cripped making a pouty face at them which made Iona laugh a little.

"Alright you. This is my brother Lyon. He can be a little troublemaker when he wants to but he's a good brother." Iona said before gesturing to the woman in the chair giving them a small wave.

"I can introduce myself if that's okay." She said getting up from the chair and giving them a small bow.

"My name's Athena Nikos. I'm Pyrrha's mother. It's an honor to meet you all." Athena said introducing herself.

"The pleasure's our ma'am." Star said, returning the bow.

"Please come sit we were just about to serve up some dinner. It's a good thing I made extra then." Sienna said, inviting them to their table to sit.

As they sat down Star couldn't help looking toward Athena seeing the exact resemblance to her daughter Pyrrha. However, thinking of Pyrrha made her think back to the combat classes she'd seen her fight in and her nearly flawlessly winning all her fights with minimal loss of aura. They were good friends so it does hurt knowing that they'll never see their friend again.

"Miss Nikos…" Star started getting the older woman's attention.

"Yes?" Athena questioned.

"I know that this probably late but… I would like to offer my condolences." Star replied.

Athena could only give her a small smile in return "Thank you. It means a lot that my daughter was surrounded by great friends. She'd often write letters home about her experiences at Beacon and she did happen to mention you and your team as well and she also writes to make sure that Iona is doing alright as well." Athena said.

"Yep, that's Pyrrha." Iona said with a smile.

"I remember that after school you and Pyrrha would rush over here and play all day." Sienna replied.

"Yeah, that was rather fun." Iona said with a laugh remembering the good times.

"I may not have known Pyrrha for that long but it sounds like she was a great girl to be around." May added.

"She was… and she'll be remembered by those that cherish her memories." Iona replied.

"Yes, you are correct on that." Athena said as she got up from her seat.

"Leaving already?" Sienna asked.

"I'm afraid so. I still have much to pack and place in storage." Athena answered.

Sienna nodded "Alright, remember my doors are always open in case you need anything." Sienna replied.

Athena gave her a small nod "Of course. You're a great friend Sienna and a kind soul." Athena stated as she took her leave.

"Is she going to be alright?" Pepper asked.

Sienna could only sigh "It's hard to say. Everyone has their ways of coping with loss. But I feel that she's on the way to acceptance. It just takes time." Sienna replied though she still couldn't help but worry for Athena as she knows that it's hard to accept something that has happened.

=RWBY=

Meanwhile, at the military base Commander Cordovin was doing her routine check up on the base making sure that everything was in tip top form. However, there was something rather concerning for her as of late. She had yet to receive word from General Ironwood about the inspection but instead she got word that the inspection had been called off completely for some strange reason that she couldn't figure out.

"Probably still trying to get Jacque off his back. Yes, that must be it. No need for worry." Cordovin thought as she continued her check up on her base.

"Commander Cordovin!" A soldier shouted running toward the shorter woman.

"What is it? Can't you see I'm in the middle of something." She retorted.

"Apologies ma'am but there is someone at the gate that wishes to speak with you. Says that it's urgent." The soldier replied.

She only groaned at this but responded anyway "Very well. Let's see what this person wants." Cordovin stated as she and the soldier walked toward the gate.

Other soldiers were there when they arrived and she noticed outside the gate stood a person in a cloak with the top of their face covered unable to see their eyes however Cordovin could tell that the person was female because of the figure.

"Now then, you wished to speak with me." Cordovin said.

"Are you Caroline Cordovin?" The woman asked.

"I am. I'm the commander of this base. Now speak woman. You said this was urgent." Cordovin said.

"Very well. I'm afraid to inform you Commander but your city has been infiltrated by a member of the White Fang." The woman stated getting their attention.

"Impossible. No one could infiltrate my city. How do you know this?" She questioned the woman.

"Because I was once a member of that horrid group. I left that life behind me after I've seen her kill a fellow friend of mine. She's brutal and must be stopped before she kills again." The woman said.

"I've heard the news from Haven Academy. The White Fang had been arrested." Cordovin stated.

"All but her. I've seen her fled before she could be arrested. Even alone she can be dangerous. I implore you Commander this terrorist is in your city and must be brought to justice at once." The woman said.

Cordovin thought for a moment, not sure what to think of this.

"Think about it. You bring the last of the White Fang to her knee and you'll be made a hero. You'll be respected among your peers and who knows maybe something even better." The woman stated.

Cordovin looked at the woman before she made her decision "And just what is this girls name?" Cordovin questioned.

Under the cloak the woman smirked "Blake Belladonna. She's a cat faunus with ears on her head. Be careful though, her semblance can create multiple clones of herself. She's very tricky to catch off guard." She replied, handing Cordovin a picture of Blake through the gate as she took it in hand.

"Very well then. We'll start by looking for this Blake and have her arrested immediately. Guards! Prepare for departure!" Cordovin ordered as the guard were assembling.

The cloaked woman revealed to be Ilia Amitola grinned darkly as she walked away from the gate.

"Soon Blake… my revenge will be complete and you'll burn in hell for what you did." Ilia replied as she disappeared waiting for her chance to strike.

F3: Well… things just escalated. Ilia has returned and has tricked Cordovin. Wonder how that'll turn out. Don't forget to leave a comment and please make sure to follow and/or favorite this story. With that said this is Fireuser3 and I'm Out.
