F3: Welcome to chapter 7 of my RWBY Volume 6 story. We last left off with Cordovin and the rest of the captured team. Now let's find out what happens next. RWBY currently has no property to anyone. With that said Let's Dive In.

Volume 6-7: Captured.

Weiss called up the others and had them meet them at the café just like Winter told them too as they went over her plan. Though there were a few of them that were skeptical of this idea and wondered if it'll even work.

"You think she'll fold that quickly. You said that she's the commanding officer of that base." Ruby replied.

"I know that this might be long shot but yes. Despite her claiming the base as her own it is still property of the Atlas military; therefore, it belongs to Atlas and not her. She'll try and spout something like that when we encounter her so don't be intimidated by that drivel." Winter replied.

"And what if she tries to force us out?" Adam questions.

"I can handle that. I may no longer live in Atlas but I still have connections in the Atlas military. More accurately to the Marshal." Winter answered which surprised everyone, even Weiss.

"The Marshal? Is that a big deal?" Ruby questioned.

"The Marshal is the highest rank that even outranks General. Those that have that rank are the ones in charge of the entire miliary divisions." Weiss answered before looking at her sister.

"How do you have connections to the Marshal?" Weiss asked.

"After the bombing of the law firm in Atlas; Marshal Bradly helped me with my recovery and we became good friends and we keep in touch with each other. Plus, he owes me for saving his butt during that bombing but it still left an impact. I'm sure you noticed how I walk." Winter replied as some of them nodded.

"What happened?" Oscar asked.

"After the explosion I suffered nerve damage to my left leg. Though it was repaired thanks to surgery I walk with a bit of a limp now. Marshal Bradly discharged me from my services with all benefits as well." Winter explained.

"That's impressive. Then I guess you decided to continue your profession and opened a business here." Adam said.

"Correct but for now let's refocus on the task at hand. Getting Blake and everyone else out. Blake is pretty much royalty, being the daughter of the chieftain of Menagerie. This could cause an incident that I know Cordovin doesn't want to get out. And if word got out to them in Menagerie it could spell trouble for the already strained relationship between humans and faunus." Winter added.

"I wouldn't be so sure on that." Cardin replied, making Winter stare at him.

"How so Mr. Winchester?" Winter asked.

"My mother is a member of the council here in Argus. She helped get faunus workers settled here and even helped with some of their businesses. She's well liked in the faunus community despite being human and she plans on heading to Menagerie to speak with Ghira." Cardin replied which surprised even Winter.

"Impressive. Alright for now, we head to the base and see about talking with Cordovin." Winter replied as everyone nodded and with a destination in mind the group began making their way toward the base.

The walk there took about twenty minutes as they saw the gates ahead of them.

"Alright everyone remember do not show any form of force or they'll get jumpy. Just play it cool and nothing happens. Especially to you Miss Rose." Winter replied gesturing to Ruby as she nodded knowing that her mother, sister, and girlfriend were all in there. Neo gripped her umbrella tightly knowing that Star was in the base as well.

Once they approached the gate the guards immediately jumped into action.

"Halt! No one pass this point!" One of the guards shouted.

"My name is Winter Schnee. Attorney of Law. I'm asking for entry into this base." Winter said in a firm voice.

"For what purpose?" The other guard asked.

"I am to understand that you arrested some people earlier this morning. Some of them are huntsmen in training and you also have a huntress in custody. I wish to speak with them." Winter spoke again.

"That'll have to be up to our commanding officer." The guard said.

"Then bring your commanding officer at once." Winter spoke firmly.

The guards looked at each other before one of them brought out a walkie and spoke into.

"Bring Commander Cordovin to the front gates. There is a Winter Schnee wanting to speak with her." The guard spoke as now they waited.

About ten minutes later Cordovin came walking out with two more soldiers walking behind her.

"What is the meaning of this!? I'm in the middle of interrogations!" Cordovin shouted completely livid before she noticed who was standing at the gate before giving a convincing grin.

"Ah… Winter Schnee. To what I owe the pleasure of this visit?" She questioned.

"Actually, from what I was told that you have innocent people in your custody. I would like to speak with them." Winter said.

Cordovin looked at her with a confused look "Innocent people? Now Winter why would I have innocent people in my custody. You know we only capture criminals or did you forget that." Cordovin said.

"If I'm correct you have the following people in your custody. Two members of Ionas team which one of them being her team leader, two members of Team RWBY which one is a sibling, a licensed huntress, along with a May Zedong, Jaune Arc, and Nora Valkyrie. Is that correct?" Winter stated firmly.

"Hm… all I have in my custody is a terrorist and those that were aiding her." Cordovin said.

"Please do not play games with us." Weiss spoke up standing next to her sister.

"We were told that you captured them for no apparent reason other than your bogus accusations of my teammate being a supposed terrorist. You don't know that for sure." Weiss said firmly.

"Mind your tongue little girl. I am the commander of this base. My base. If there is a threat in Argus then I will deal with it. In fact,…" Cordovin paused as she looked toward Adam.

"That man with you is Adam Taurus. He's wanted for several murders including robbery of the SDC dust. I can have him arrested on that alone. In fact, let's change that." Cordovin said as she snapped her fingers.

"Guards. Arrest Adam Taurus." Cordovin said as the guards were about to move Weiss quickly got in front of him.

"You want him you'll have to get through me first." Weiss growled her tail fluffed up.

"Miss Schnee. Need I inform you that you are defending a criminal. Continue this and I'll have no choice but to arrest you as well." Cordovin said.

"But you won't. I am the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company and I would give you a bad reputation if you were to arrest me." Weiss added.

The soldiers and Cordovin paused a moment like they were carefully deciding what to do next.

"Gotcha." Weiss smirked but then Cordovin… laughed which made the other soldiers laugh.

"I'm sorry my dear but I have been informed that you were disowned as heiress of the SDC. So, your little threat is nothing." Cordovin spoke, which shocked Weiss to her core.

"No… but I was going to…" Weiss thought.

"Now then if you'll step aside, we'll be arresting Adam Taurus now." Cordovin said so casually as the soldiers started to move in toward them.

"That's far enough!" A womans voice shouted as they turned to see… Cardin's mother?

"Mom!" Cardin said just as surprise to see her.

"I thought you were heading off to Menagerie?" He asked.

"I was but then I heard the commotion going on over here and decided to investigate. And behold what I see is a snobby commander trying to flex her authority and arrest an innocent faunus." Tabitha said.

"L-Lady Winchester, I assure you that this faunus in front of you is indeed a criminal. Why he has-." Cordovin started but Tabitha cut her off.

"Has he committed a crime as of late? Or cause any harm to a person?" She questioned.

"Um… well… no not exactly but-." Cordovin said again but again Tabitha spoke over her.

"Then there is clearly nothing to worry about. Now I believe this lawyer here is wanting to speak with those that you have in custody so please… I suggest you grant her request." Tabitha said giving off a fearsome glare that sent shivers up their spines.

"She's scary." Neo signed as they gulped nervously.

"Y-Yes. I was about to do that. Open the gate!" She ordered as the guards opened the gate allowing the others to pass through.

"Now see that wasn't so hard." Tabitha said sweetly making everyone sweetdrop.

"Thank goodness she's on our side." Ruby muttered.

"Now then if you'll pardon us. I'll be visiting my clients now." Winter replied as the rest walked past Cordovin and the soldiers as they didn't do anything to impede them.

However, Cordovin could only look on as she watch them enter her base as she growled at this.

"Now then I have an engagement in Menagerie so if you'll excuse me." Tabitha said as she walked away from the base.

Once Tabitha was away Cordovin mood shifted as she was angry about the turn of events.

"Get the general on the line. And tell him there's a breach on the base in Argus." Cordovin replied.

"But ma'am there is no breach in the system." The soldier stated.

"Oh… there's going to be. If I have a say about it. We'll simply stage it. Spread word to the guards. We'll capture them all at once. A group of radicals tried to invade our base but was swiftly captured by our military. Yes, that sounds perfect." Cordovin replied as she and the guards walked away.

However, outside there base a lone female figure overlooked the base and its operations as she smirked at this. It was the perfect setup and they don't even know it.

It was Ilia wearing a cloak over her clothing as she felt a presence near her. She grabbed her weapon on her hip and then turned, pointing her weapon at the person behind but the person was holding a gun to her.

"Well, isn't this a surprise." Ilia said.

"Yes… a surprise indeed." The woman's voice said as it was revealed to be Coco Adel as she lowered her weapon.

"So, what are you doing in Argus?" Ilia questioned.

"Trying to get back to Salem. There are plans that still need to be done. Are you going to be joining us?" Coco questioned.

"Afraid not. I have a score to settle here." Ilia said firmly.

Coco only sighed "You're still going on about Blake. Ignore her. Her plans come-." Coco started but Ilia pointed her weapon at her stopping her.

"Her plans mean squat to me! The White Fang is gone because of her! I'm all that's left! Even if I have to rebuild from the ground up, I'll do it." Ilia replied.

"So, you can take her plans and shove them sideways!" Ilia shouted as she turned away from Coco.

Coco only growled at this act of defiance "You're going to regret your decision. You'll see that you should've came with me and then your life would've been spared but if you want a death sentence than be my guest." Coco said as she left Ilia to her own devices as she tried to come up with a way to get back to her queen as Ilia laid in wait for what else to happen.

=RWBY=

Inside the base Winter and the group were guided by one of the soldiers to the detention cells as he opened the door to the detention cells. Those that were in the detention cells peeked through their cells only to see the others.

"Ruby!" Yang shouted cheerfully as Ruby ran to her cell.

"Hey Yang. You alright?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah. Better now that you guys are here." Yang said as Raven walked over to her cell.

"Don't worry we'll get things settled." Raven added.

Iona went over to check on her partner and Pepper making sure that they were alright.

"Hey thanks for coming. This isn't what I was expecting." Star said.

"That's because we got a kick ass lawyer here to set the matter straight. Weiss's sister is a lawyer so don't you all fret." Iona said.

However, Weiss got a look at all the cells and noticed that someone wasn't in a cell with them as she marched over to the soldier.

"Where is Blake Belladonna?" She asked firmly making the soldier flinch.

"I'm afraid she's in a different section of the base." The soldier gulped.

"These people are innocent and are to be released from there cells and belongings returned to them immediately." Winter ordered firmly.

"Um… I must receive orders from the commander herself." The soldier said.

Ruby then walked up to the soldier holding a hard glare at the soldier.

"Take us to Blake. Now." Ruby growled apparently not in the mood to hear the soldier's excuse. The soldier gulped as he made a choice.

"Alright. Follow me please." The soldier said.

"You guys hang out here. We'll go get Blake." Weiss replied as she, Winter, and Ruby followed the soldier.

Raven walked over to Summer's cell as she was grinning at her "What's so funny?" Summer asked.

"You know back we were teens this was exactly opposite." Raven chuckled.

Summer couldn't help but chuckle with her "Yeah… expect it was me coming to the police station to bail your sorry butt out of prison for what was it again… oh yeah a drunken brawl." She added.

This made Raven blush slightly remembering that event "Yeah I know not my greatest moment." She said rubbing the back of her head.

Meanwhile, the Schnee sisters and Ruby were being guided to another section of the base. They saw a metal door ahead of them. The soldier inputted a code and the door opened. They headed inside and Ruby immediately headed toward the first cell that was in front of her but no one was in it. She then check another and then one after that. It wasn't till the next to last cell that she saw a figure that she was familiar with laying on a cot.

"Blake." Ruby called out. Blakes ears twitched as she stared from her cot seeing Ruby standing there along with Weiss and Winter.

"Ruby." Blake said but her voice was hoarse as she got up from her cot but almost instantly her legs about gave out on her as she fell to the ground.

"Blake!" Ruby called out again seeing her girlfriend fall to the ground but then got a good view of her condition that even made Weiss gasp.

On her right arm were electrical burns that looked like they haven't healed yet. But most importantly Ruby was appalled at was the burn over Blakes left eye as it was barely opened but it looked like it was glossed over and her eye was red from the damage.

"My goodness…" Winter muttered.

Both of Ruby's hands formed into fists as she turned and glared at the soldier, her eyes starting to turn black.

"Who. Did. This." Ruby growled angrily glaring at the soldier. Weiss saw this and stepped between her and the soldier.

"Ruby don't. This is a military base. You attack him and we're all in trouble." Weiss said, trying to reason with her seeing how angry Ruby was getting.

Ruby's nails dug into the palm of her hands as blood leaked through her fingers.

"Who. Did. This. TO. BLAKE!" Ruby shouted taking another step toward the soldier who looked at her nervously.

Suddenly before any of them could do anything the sound of an alarm blaring came to life.

"What in the world!? Is there an attack?" Winter asked.

Just then the soldier brought out his weapon and pointed it at the three of them.

"Security breach! Detention Cell 4!" He shouted, aiming his weapon at them, surprising the three.

"Put your weapon down soldier. We were allowed in by your commander." Winter replied trying to reason with the soldier but he didn't listen.

Just then more soldiers entered the detention cell brandishing their weapons at them.

"Don't move! Hands in the air!" The soldier ordered.

"What the heck? What's going on here? We were allowed entrance into the base." Weiss replied as she took a step forward but when she did that the soldier fired a shot in front of her making her stop.

"Hey! Watch it!" Weiss added.

"Hands up! Don't make me repeat myself!" The soldier ordered.

Ruby growled at this as she reached behind her ready to grab Thorn Gear but Winter stopped her.

"No… whatever's going on here they are obviously following orders so for now everyone do as they say." Winter replied showing her hands in surrender. Weiss growled at this but then followed suit as did Ruby. No doubt the others are being treated like this too so they had no choice but to surrender for now.

The three were cuffed and taken away as Ruby gave one last look over to Blake before being escorted out.

In another room, which was the security room, Cordovin was overlooking this event and she was quite pleased with how things happened so quickly. Plus, she had a perfect cover story for how this happened.

"Ma'am everyone has been captured and are now in lock up." A soldier replied.

"Thank you. That's covers that at least. Now for the perfect cover story just in case things get too dicey. We'll say that a group of insurgents came and infiltrated the base to try and free their comrades but were apprehended before they could. Thankfully there was no casualties." Cordovin replied.

"You think they'll believe that?" The soldier questioned.

"Of course they will. And it'll be a way for us to regain their trust after the whole incident at Beacon. Besides one of them is Adam Taurus, the one that we've been after for quite some time now. Once they notice that he's incarcerated the people of Argus will trust us again." Cordovin replied.

"Get me through to General Ironwood. I have some good news to deliver." Cordovin said.

"Yes ma'am." The soldier said as he began opening a transfer line to Atlas to contact General Ironwood, Cordovin could already feel things were starting to go her way.

=RWBY=

Saphron was pacing around her house as it has been over an hour since they've left and it was nerve wracking for her. However, she wondered if Ruby and the others are okay. She pulled out her scroll and decided to call her brother Jaune to try and see if anything had changed. Unfortunately, it only went to voicemail in which she hung up.

"Something's not right I just know it." Saphron said.

Adrien, however, whined a little as he reached out toward Saphron. She lifted him up and held him close.

"I know sweety. I miss Jaune too. But we must wait for everything to be settled?" Saphron said.

Adrien whined but then he spoke something to her "Mama." Adrien spoke surprisingly.

This made Saphron smile a little from all this but then it gave her an idea as she opened her scroll before going through her contacts to find her wife's number. However, she was rather hesitant to call considering she was part of the military but she did say that if it was important or an emergency, she was to call her.

She pressed the call button as her scroll started dialing.

Meanwhile in Atlas Harriet was still adjusting to her new role as General but with some help she had adjusted but she was currently on a long-distance call with the headmistress of Shade Academy who also happens to be a member of the Atlas board, Vanessa Tora.

"I do understand your concerns Miss Tora but as you know without those dust trade routes Atlas cannot deploy its dust to the other shops that currently need it. Already reports are saying that several shops have closed shop because of not getting the demand they need." Harriet replied.

"While I can understand where you're coming from general Bree. However, I cannot simply allow unprotected dust to be deported all over Remnant. Especially with the incident that happened in Vale not to mention the other criminals that lurk about." Vanessa said.

This was becoming a problem but it was something that she was willing to solve.

"Miss Tora I am willing to compromise on a solution that benefits both parties. However, I cannot do that unless we reach some form of common ground. Which is why I have a proposal that will help the both of us." Harriet added.

"And just what proposal is that General?" Vanessa asked.

"As you know the soldiers have been recalled to Atlas due to the events in Vale which involved a majority of our mechs and paladins. Right now, there are some that do not trust Atlas. However, here's my proposal. I provide with the dust then I'll let you provide with the protection detail. I'll even let you hand pick your huntsmen for it." Harriet proposed.

Vanessa placed a hand to her chin before she spoke again "Does that include inspecting the dust before it is transferred." She added.

"Yes." Harriet said firmly.

Vanessa hummed a moment before she spoke "Very well General Bree. You have yourself a deal." She said, which made Harriet smile a little.

"I'm glad we can come to an understanding. I'll have a flight crew prepare a dust shipment immediately. Till next time Miss Tora." Harriet said.

"Until then General." Vanessa said as her image vanished. Harriet sighed glad to finally make some progress with the dust routes.

Just then a soldier rushed into her office. "Pardon the intrusion General but there is a call for you from our base in Argus." The soldier replied.

"Put it through." Harriet ordered.

"Yes ma'am." The soldier stated before leaving the room.

Just then a few moments later a hologram came up showing Cordovin her eyes closed but before she could get a word in Cordovin spoke.

"Ah General Ironwood my apologies in advance for interrupting you but I have some news that I wish to inform you about." Cordovin said.

"James Ironwood has been relieved of his command as general. This is General Harriet Bree Arc you are speaking to." Harriet replied in which Cordovin opened her eyes as she noticed who she was speaking with.

"What!? What do you mean Ironwood has been relieved of his command! What has he done?" Cordovin questioned.

"He was asked to step down from his position by the Marshal. In short, I've been put in charge of the military as the new General. As for what he's done is confidential. Now state your business." Harriet replied.

Cordovin growled at this muttering under her breath before she spoke.

"General… I had recently captured a member of the White Fang along with a group of radicals trying to free her. I was hoping that you'd come down to the base and take them out of my hands." Cordovin replied.

Harriet only hummed at this "Are you sure? Last I heard the White Fang was captured at Haven Academy. Are you sure that your information is correct?" Harriet asked.

"I am. Does the name Adam Taurus and Blake Belladonna ring a bell?" Cordovin asked.

Harriet thought for a moment. "Belladonna? That does ring a bell but from where? Wait… there was someone by that name at the Vytal Tournament. And Adam… I'm not so sure." Harriet replied.

"The Belladonna name does seem familiar but what of Adam? How was he captured?" Harriet asked.

This made Cordovin stumble a moment "Does it matter how he was captured all that matters is that he is in custody. Along with those radicals that were with him. Now I was hoping you'd come a take them." Cordovin said.

Harriet only sighed seeing how forceful she was being which also brought some concern.

"Very well. I'll have a ship ready and be there." Harriet replied just as her scroll rang Cordovin ended the call.

She brought out her personal scroll seeing it was her wife calling her as she answered it.

"Saph what's going on?" Harriet asked.

"Sorry for bothering you but you said to call you if this was an emergency and well… I think Cordovin arrested innocent people." Saphron said.

"Are you sure?" Harriet questioned.

"Yes. A girl named Blake and a few of her friends were staying at my place and then next thing I knew Cordovin comes barging in our house and arrest her and her friend for aiding and abetting." Saphron said.

Harriet slightly gripped her scroll tighter after hearing what Saphron said. Barging into her home scaring her wife and child like that with armed soldiers. This wasn't going to slide at all.

"She did what!?" Harriet shouted.

"She… even threatened to arrest me if I got involved." Saphron said. Harriet was now furious and this situation was going to get rectified immediately.

"Oh don't worry… I'll handle this situation." Harriet growled.

"Really? How?" Saphron asked.

"Just leave this to me Saph. Cordovin is about to receive an unhappy visit." Harriet replied before giving her a goodbye as she hung up.

"Corporal!" She shouted as a soldier entered the office.

"Yes, General Bree." He spoke.

"Call down to the air docks and tell them to have a bullhead ready in five minutes with a flight crew. Also call Cynthia of the Stealth Ops and tell her to have Team Polaris ready and waiting at the docks." Harriet ordered.

"Yes ma'am!" The soldier spoke as he ran off from her office. She was not happy about what she had found out, which made her wonder what Cordovin was hiding or if her claiming to capture this group of radicals she spoke of along with Adam Taurus. But one thing was for certain she was going to rip Cordovin a new one for scaring her wife and son because she just make the wrong person angry.

F3: And that's chapter 7 of the RWBY story. Looks like Harriet is about to head to Argus and she's not going to be happy when she get's there. Wonder what else will happen? Don't forget to leave behind a comment and please make sure to follow and/or favorite as well. With that said this is Fireuser3 and I'm Out.
