This not compelety lore accurate. The information I got is from the backrooms wikidot.
Garfiel was in shock. How did they all end up here. He looked at his unconscious. They had to visible scars. Garfiel shook subaru's arm.
"What happened?" Subaru asked groggily. He stood up and looked around, "Wait, where the hell are we?!"
"That is what I have been wondering," Garfiel says in a distressed tone. They both look around wildly. There was no visible end to the rooms. They just seemed to go on for an infinite amout of times.
Garfiel points at the others on the group, "Should I wake them up?"
Subaru thinks for a second, "Sure, I guess."
Garfiel wakes Otto up first. While Garfiel roused the group Subaru decided to walk around. The place looked oddly familiar. He might not have been to a place like this but he has seen it somewhere. As the knight walked around. The carpet was oddly moist. A thought sprouted in Subaru's mind. Could he use return by death to send them back? Was his checkpoint in this place? He didn't have a knife, and his checkpoint might be a bit too far back. Was the risk worth it? Death would be painful because there wasn't anything on hand that could dispatch of him painlessly. I shouldn't treat my life as a tool, Subaru mentally chidded to himself. He wasn't even sure if his authority would even work. He kept on walking around while thinking. Subaru looked down at the carpet and noticed it's moistness. Subaru rubbed his hand on the yellow carpets. They were lightly moist. The liquid was an oil like substance. It had a sheen to it. The lolimancer started to walk back. He looked around. The surrounding never changed. He started walking faster, and faster. Soon Subaru was outright sprinting. Had he walked that far?
"HEY GUYS!" Subaru screamed, voice brimming with fear. He started breathing heavily. He kept seeing the same yellow walls over and over again.
"Hey, Subaru," A voice called out in the distance. It was Beatrice. Subaru started sprinting in the direction of the voice. Soon the whole group was in sight.
"Where the hell did you go running off to?" Garfiel asked, voice laced with annoyance.
"Sorry, I was trying to scout out the area and got a bit lost," Subaru said sheepishly.
"Really Subaru, that was very reckless and dangerous. You could have atleast went with one other person," Otto chided.
"Um, question, how did we get here?" Emilia asked.
"I have no idea. This place looks oddly familiar," Subaru thinks out loud. All of them look towards Subaru.
"You are telling me you have been to a place like this, I suppose?" Beatrice asks.
"Not exactly," Subaru responds. The whole group looked at the Subaru with a confused expression. Subaru said a lot of weird things that they didn't understand, so they simply brushed off his weird comment.
"I think we might have gotten here by teleportation magic," Emilia concludes.
"That is very possible, but what is this place even? It has no windows to outside. This can't be Lugunica. There is no way." Otto says.
Suddenly a memory surfaced in Subaru's mind. He saw this place on the internet. He couldn't remember exactly where on the internet, but it definitely was from there. But, no, It was supposed to be some weird creepypasta thingy. Subaru usually steered clear of those kinds of content. They never exactly interested him. But now that information was crucial. All he could remember is that this place is near infinite.
"I have an idea," Subaru blurts.
"Whatever this idea is I hope it can get us away from this place. This buzzing sound is hurting my ears," Garfiel complained.
"We should all stick together and explore this place. It should have some exit. We must stick together or we will get lost," Subaru concluded.
The rest of the group nodded in agreement. Sticking together was the only way to not lose eachother in this odd place.
"Let's follow the right wall," Subaru says.
"And why is that?" Otto asks.
"I mean, that is usually what you do to get out of a maze. This place is kinda like a maze so it should work," Subaru deducted.
Subaru started walking and the rest of the people followed. Subaru kept his hand against the wall. It had a very smooth texture. Subaru occasionally looked back to see if everyone was still there. Thankfully no one got lost.
"How long is going to take, I suppose?" Beatrice whinned.
"I am not a hundred precent sure. But my intuition is telling me it is close," Subaru said.
"We all know how good your intuition is," Otto muttered under his breath.
They kept on walking. The walls stayed the same color.
"Captain! Look!" Garfiel exclaimed.
He pointed in the distance. There was an out of color wall. They all ranned towards this weird colored wall. This strange wall led to a room. Inside were four wooden chairs all around a wooden table. It was a small table that was also made of a dark wood. The room had manilla colored wall with the same pattern.
"How is this supposed to help us?" Emilia asked.
When they walked closer they saw an envelope sitting on the table. Otto reach out and opened the mysterious envelope. Otto opened it and inside was a sheet of paper.
"What language is this?" Otto asked looking at the sheet of paper in pure confusion.
Everyone looked at the sheet of paper. Subaru immediately recognized the language. It was written in English. His English was a bit rusty since it has been a while, but he still could some what read it.
"This isn't any language that I know of," Garfiel replied.
Subaru snatched the piece of paper out of Otto's hand and started reading it.
"Do you understand what it says?" Otto questions.
"Yes, although not much." Subaru concluded.
Subaru skimmed through the text. It mentioned something about no clipping. What was that supposed to mean? It had instructions on how to no clip into a different level. In short this place has many levels this being the first. This place was called level zero.
"So guys, this had instructions on how to leave-"
"Awesome, I can finally get a break from this annoying buzzing sound," Garfiel interrupts.
"But, we will be transported to a different level." Subaru finishs his statement.
"What is this different level?" Emilia asks.
"Well on here it is saying this place has a large amount of levels. Each level has a different lay out. This level kinda sucks so I think we should go to a different one,"
"Well, let's hope this level 1 is a better place. How do we get there?" sighed Emilia.
"So it says we need to hold out hand on the wall for 3 minutes, and then 'jump' through it. That is how you noclip out of this place," Subaru informs.
"Jump through, noclip?" Beatrice asked, highly confused.
"I have no idea about the jumping part. I am pretty such that noclipping is sorta like teleporting but not really. In short you don't know where you will end up," Subaru says.
"Not the best idea, but what can we do about it," Otto mutters.
Subaru puts his and on the wall. Otto stops him.
"If we want to stick together should we hold hand while no clipping?" Otto inquires.
"I mean we didn't hold hands when we got sent here." Subaru says.
"It is not worth the risk." Otto persists.
Otto grabs Garfiels hand. Garfiel grabs Beatrice's hand. Beatrice grabs Emila's hand. And finally Emila grabs Subaru's hand. Subaru flinched, nobody seemed to notice his reaction. Subaru put his hand on the wall and they waited.
"I feel kinda of sceptical about all of this," Emilia confesses.
"I feel really stupid doing this. This probably doesn't even do anything," Subaru says in an annoyed tone.
He jumps at the wall... nothing happened.
"Oh come on," Garfiel whinned.
Otto stumbled on his robe falling back. Suddenly they all fall and they hit a solid floor. The obnoxious buzzing had stopped. They were now in level 1.
