I was at home doing homework. I figured I'd get that all done before I leave to go shopping with the girls. We are planning to get some new clothes for our California trip and we needed to get a few things for Dawn for her birthday. I was leaving with Claudia. By the time she came over, I was already completed with one of them. Then, we left to go meet up with the other girls.
At the mall, Kristy said, "Mary Anne called me last night and said she's have been hearing from D.J."
"Oh, good," I said.
"She said the tickets are on the way," said Kristy. "It should be shipped before her family come down for Dawn's birthday party."
"Dawn's going to have a fun time at Disneyland," said Claudia.
"Especially with the Tanner family," said Mallory.
"Is it me or is Marci all moody lately?" asked Jessi.
"I think she is," said Kristy.
"Why?" asked Mallory.
"I wonder if the girls miss her," I said.
"You have a good point," said Claudia.
"They were disappointed to miss out from Mary Anne's sleepover, but they were out of town for that weekend," said Kristy.
"Oh, yeah, I forgot they weren't there," said Jessi.
"So did I," said Mallory.
"Mary Anne hopes to see the girls at Dawn's party," said Kristy.
"Are they planning to go for California?" I asked.
"Not sure," said Kristy.
"I know they got invited to join us," said Claudia.
"Mary Anne said they usually have plans during school vacation," said Kristy. "She didn't want to keep her hopes up."
"We can go eat first before we do shopping," said Claudia.
"Okay," said Kristy.
"I have an idea while we're here. I'm thinking I can design shirts and put Dawn's birthday crew to wear when we spend the day at Disneyland," said Claudia.
"That's a great idea," I said.
"Mary Anne plans to surprise Dawn that way," said Kristy.
"I'll give it to her when we're in California," said Claudia.
"I can't wait to see the girls," said Mallory.
"Same here. The Willis girls and Beth are coming with Mary Anne's family," said Kristy.
"Depending on how Kayla feels," I said.
"I know. If not, she can wait for California," said Kristy.
"That's true," I said.
"I have other idea for the shirts. Kayla Strong," said Claudia.
"How about we do the Dawn's Birthday crew during the party and we can use Kayla Team for Disneyland?" I asked.
"I like that idea," said Kristy.
"Me, too," said Claudia.
"We can buy the birthday shirts now and get the ones for Kayla Strong when we buy supplies on Friday after school," I said.
"I'll wait to see if Marci and the others will be coming before I buy their shirts," said Claudia.
"Makes sense," said Mallory.
"We'll get all these together on Friday during the meeting in between calls," said Kristy.
"Okay," said Jessi.
"We can always come back with them if needed," I said.
"True," agreed Claudia.
We went to the food court. Most of them shared a pizza and I had salad. I can't have process cheese because of my diabetes. After we ate, we went to a few stores to get gifts for Dawn's birthday before we went to buy some clothes. We got wrapping paper and boxes to put the gifts together. We picked our favorite colors for Dawn's birthday crew shirts.
After all that, it was time for us to go home.
"See all of you tomorrow at school," I said.
"See you then," said Kristy.
At home, I was getting things ready for school before I went back to do homework.
"Are you going to your father's this weekend?" asked Mom.
"He already knows I can't because of Dawn's birthday party. It's the busy time for us to get things ready," I said.
"Oh, okay," said Mom.
I lived in New York my whole life. Dad was transferred here for a while and we went back there. After my parents divorced, Mom decided to move back here, so I did the same thing because all my friends are here. When I finished, I went to take a shower and changed into my nightgown.
