Prompt: "The real treasure was the memories we made along the way."

"I almost died!"

"Ah yes, that was my fondest memory."

Pru shook her head as she thought back on the job that the team had just finished. Form where she was sitting, Pru could see Nate as he sat in front of the monitors in the living room area, surrounded by paperwork and seemingly hyper focused on whatever he was doing, as well as the rest of the team over in the kitchen area. The lot of them had just gotten back from Lillian Foods, where they had (somehow) successfully pulled of a heist and magic show, all of which Pru had witnessed on the security cameras that she had hacked (because she did have some skills that out-classed Alec at times).

Smirking slightly, Pru stood, placed her tablet on the desk, and walked over to the kitchen, passing Alec trying to do card tricks with Parker as she did so. "And your queen should be this right here."

"Alec, that's a seven of clubs."

Parker smirks as she holds up the queen. "Stole it."

Before Alec could say anything, Pru cut in. "You know, there are definitely worse things that she could steal. Besides, the real treasures are the memories that we made along the way."

Alec gave her a harried look. "I almost died in that elevator."

Eliot scoffed (and Pru could see the small smirk even though no one else could). "Ah, yes, that was my fondest memory." He began looking through the fridge, blatantly ignoring the glare Alec was sending his way. "I'm going to finish off the kung pao."

Nate waved a piece of paper back at them. "Okay, yeah, I've got three possible clients to research! Just want to finish."

Pru furrowed her brow as Sophie called back to the mastermind. "I've got an idea. Listen, why don't you give Dr. Jameson a ring?"

"I'm working. Working over here."

Pru pursed her lips as Alec went back to doing card tricks with Parker. Eliot looked at both Sophie and the manager. "What? He's fine. We practically had to beg him to come back, alright? He's not drinking, he's at the top of his game. I got to be honest with you; I can't believe we actually pulled this one off."

Sophie gave him a droll look. "Well, that's the problem. He keeps winning. And every time he wins, he believes a little bit more that he can control…life."

"It's what gets him through the day."

Pru scoffed. "And what happens when he loses? The first time that he lost, it broke him. If he were to break again," Pru sighed and looked sadly over towards the mastermind. "I don't think that even we could pick up the pieces."
