Chapter 8: a super fight

I sigh as me and Blaze stand on the wings of the tornado x. Two days passed slowly but thankfully I had enough time to repair the tornado 1 to almost working condition. I had woke this morning to Blaze, Shadow, and Tails waiting for me to wake each holding two of the emeralds and as I took them i put each in their designated pocket on the inside of my coat.

I smirk as i realize this titan will hate life. The only team up better than burning Blaze and super sonic, is Shadow,Silver, and I in our super form. As we approach the island blaze turn into burning Blaze and fly towards the titan. I smirk as she punches it sending it flying up.

Tails flies as close as he can without a possibility of getting clipped. I quickly jump from the plane to the titan and start running up its back. As i approach its head blaze hits it again causing me to get jarred and it twirls around knocking her away and the tornado causing it to crash into the mountain.

"Dammit better hurry." I run up to the chaos emerald and takes it. Almost as soon as it is in my hand I willed them to turn me into super sonic. I smile as I do an epic pose. "Time to join your predecessors."

As I punch it I grab its arm and throws it into a cliff. I look to my right as Blaze returns from being hit away. Instead of saying anything we just nod and start by hitting it in the stomach making some Liquid Metal spurt out but it quickly got up. The Liquid Metal also appears to have been put to repair it quickly.

I growl and goes to go so fast multiple after images would hit it at once but I'm swatted away like a fly. I shake my head and clear the 100 miles it hit me in a second but a little later then I should be. As I got back I see blaze get hit in the head with a downward swing. I was even more surprised by the fact she got knocked out her emeralds separating from her. I quickly grab her and set her next to the master emerald. I grab her emeralds before they fall into the ocean.

A smile and sigh before i get hit in my back sending me flying again. But as i fly I hold her emeralds close refusing to lose them but they start glowing and my body started warming up. I look at the titan and smirk as the chaos emeralds and the sol emarlds mix making me a light purple with fiery eyes my gloves having flames and my aura instead of a golden glow now a fire.

I fly at it and with a twirl I turn into a flaming blue arrow and pierce it. The hole remaining as I evaporate the metal. I look back and catch its hand as it tries to slash me. I look up at it and flies quickly to its face and uses some momentum to ripe its arm off. It suddenly shoots a bunch of rockets I use them to shoot in its mouth like the original wyvern. But as it eats them I shoot a stream of flames.

I pant as I feel my body become overheated. I fly to Blaze and try to separate the emeralds but the sol emeralds wouldn't listen to me. "Come on i know im not the rightful owner of you but you need to separate." I pant as my body starts steaming and a bit of grass dries and starts on fire.

"Sonic turn back." I look up seeing Tails who also was panting. I look at Blaze as her flame proof clothes start to burn on the edges. 'If i can't separate them I guess i will have to cool down.' I fly up as Tails yells for me to stop and dives into the water. I may be scared of drowning but water has always been a comfort but drowning has been too easy.

I felt myself cooling but my reinforced quills started dragging me down. I sigh internally. 'Guess the thing i should have worried about was me and my stupid plans.' I slowly pass out.

As everything went dark I felt something grab me and pull me up and then something else grabbing and flying me out.

Blazes pov:

'I can't believe Sonic would be so stupid to combine the emeralds. It shouldn't be possible but it almost killed him by overheating.' The chaos emeralds had increased the sols output to the point he almost reached 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.

I stare at his body. I wanted to wait for him to wake and chew him out. I knew he was a risk taker but this was ridiculous. I was too angry so I stood and silently nodded to tails who also looked annoyed but worried. He nodded back as I went through the rift back home.

My pov:

"Ugh." I opened my eyes which felt dry. "What happened?"

"You were a dumbass Tonic." I look over as tails growls. "Stop putting yourself in situations where you almost die. The sol emeralds almost killed you. You reached 998 degrees Fahrenheit." I was a little shocked the last time I saw him this angry was when i had talked badly about his dad.

As I process his words i slowly put up my hands. "Whoa calm down little bro."

"No i will not calm down you have almost died so many times mostly not on purpose of course. But this time is too far. You mixed the emeralds knowing they don't mix well." He growls as he interrupts me.

"I didn't mix them!" I yell so he doesn't interrupt again. "I just caught them so Blaze didn't lose them." I say calmer as Tails looks at me skeptically. "I was going to put them next to Blaze when the titan hit me again and as I flew away they mixed. When I finished the fight I tried separating them but they wouldn't listen to me. So technically I only took a risk throwing myself into the water."

"Hmm strange me and Blaze were talking and we realized that it shouldn't be possible. Especially since Blaze tried when we were making the shields." Tails said as he looked off into the distance with his mind hard at work.

"I'm not sure what happened but they helped maybe they knew i needed the boost. Or possibly something has changed since then." Tails cocked an eyebrow.

"Nothing should have changed unless all her time here has gotten the sol emeralds used to the chaos energy." Tails said but looked towards the tornado 13. "I'll look into it as soon as we figure out how to get home."

I look towards home. "I don't believe that will be too hard." I smile seeing a g.u.n drop ship.

??? POV:

"The titan almost succeeded. But as usual Sonic found a way. This little hedgehog is becoming a thorn in my side. First eggman turns good again and now that I had brought back a titan stronger than before he defeats it." I sigh as surge comes to my office. I fix my glove before turning around.

"How may I help dr. Starline?" She asks begrudgingly.

"See if you can get rid of the pesky kitty." I look back at a freeze frame of Blaze. "He was losing hope before she showed up. I think it's time to break what little confidence he has left." I smile evilly. "And maybe afterwards Eggman will finally realize he doesn't need to help the rodent."

I look at the last 3 remains of the titans. It took me a year to repair them and 5 years to get control of them. But next time I will send 2 at once and they will squish the blue menace.
