Returning to Yultim Volcano-Part 2
"Watch where your place your feet." Fillon pointed out as she watch as Rintaro place a hand on a piece of rocky that is jutting out of the wall slightly.
"Thank you, I will." Secre responded as she glance down and placed a foot on anther piece of rock.
With the wielder of Nagare and the wielder(s) of Eien no Midori, they attempted to chase after Rin, who decided to run ahead, and eventually got lost themselves.
This lead them to make the decision of simply making their way towards the Dungeon and hopefully meet up with the others.
Before long, the "two" of them have reached the rocky ground.
"How are you handling the environment?" Rintaro as he watch as Fillon picked herself up off the ground, the wielder(s) of Eien no Midori having decided to drop the last segment of the rocky wall.
Fillon became silent, a probable indication of speaking to Domi.
"We're doing okay." Fillon responded, although the wielder of Nagare notice how the currently controlling soul is breathing slightly heavily.
"Well, if you starting to feel overheated, then let me known and I'll drench you two." Rintaro explained, causing Fillon to snort slightly.
"Thanks for the offer." Fillon responded before glancing around.
"Where did Rin disappeared to?" The wielder(s) of Eien no Midori thought, a small frown appearing on her face.
"Where is everyone!" Rin said in a shock tone of voice as she glanced around and saw that she's completely be herself.
When the Magic Knights have entered the underground caves of Yultim Volcano, the wielder of Hayate dash ahead, effectively ending up by herself.
"…" Rin became silent.
"Maaaayyyybe I should have stayed with the others….." Rin thought, a small frown appearing on her face.
Whilst Fuegoleon, Ekrixi and Shan wouldn't be happy with the wielder of Hayate running off by herself, Mereoleone wouldn't mind a bit.
"I should probably try to find my way to this Dungeon." Rin muttered as she took a deep breath and adjusting her Mana-Skin.
It was at that moment that the wielder of Hayate sensed an unhuman Ki, causing Rin to become tense.
"Heh. I was wondering when I may run into these monsters that Lady Mereoleone mentioned." Rin thought as she turned around and saw lizard-like creatures slowly approaching her, flames licking their mouths.
"I hope you're lot a prepared to feel the winds, the air sure is stuffy down here." Rin commented with a small smirk on her face as she counted at least five of the lizard-like creatures.
Silence filled the air for a few seconds, with the only sound coming from the bubbling lava that can be heard some distance away, before the first of the lizard-like creatures launch an attack.
The wielder of Hayate jumped to the side to avoid the stream of fire whilst drawing the sword of the winds from her Grimoire.
Rolling across the ground before getting back on her feet, Rin then launched herself at the closes lizard-like creature with Hayate in it's single blade form.
In response, the second lizard-like creature used it's claw to block the incoming attack.
"Huh. Quick reaction timing." Rin noted before sensing another attack coming towards her, this timing coming in the form of a headbutt from the third lizard-like creature.
Luckily, Rin managed to avoid the incoming attack, resulting in the third hitting the second, knocking it to the side.
"Hah!" Rin said with a wide smile on her face. This cause the two lizard-like creatures to start growling angrily as they focus their attention onto her.
"Hey, come on now, there's no need to become angry." Rin commented as she turn Hayate into it's shuriken form.
Rin then threw the shuriken-formed Hayate just as the fourth and fifth lizard-like creatures lunged towards her.
"Wind Magic: Wind Ninja's Sky Walk." Rin announced quickly as she began to "walk" into the air whilst the shuriken-formed Hayate struck the second and third lizard-Like creatures. The fourth and fifth lizard-like creatures began to launch fire-balls from their mouths.
"That won't be good!" Rin thought just as the shuriken-formed Hayate returned to her hand which she then threw again, but this time at the fourth and fifth lizard-like creatures.
The sword of the winds struck the fifth lizard-like creature in the face, causing it's head to change direction, effectively launching it's attack at the fourth lizard-like creature.
"Hahahaha!" Rin laughed just as fourth lizard-like creature made angry growling sounds at the fifth lizard-like creature.
However, it was at that moment that the wielder of Hayate sensed a Ki right beside her, causing Rin to sharply turn her head to the side and saw that the first lizard-like creature has managed to climb up the walls and was preparing to attack her with it's claws.
Acting quickly, Rin grabbed the returning shuriken-formed Hayate and transformed it into it's twin sword form and blocked the claw-based attack.
"That was close…..?" Rin thought before noticing the other four lizard-like creatures preparing to attack her.
The wielder of Hayate attempted to move out of the way, but became surprise when she saw that the first lizard-like creature is gripping the sword of the winds tightly.
"They sure are intelligent when hunting prey." Rin thought whilst attempting not to panic.
"Sand Creaton Magic: Swift Panther." A voice announced and a panther made from sand suddenly appeared and attack the four lizard-like creatures, interrupting their attacks.
"Huh?" Rin said in a confused tone of voice whilst the first lizard-like creature seemed to become stunned as the sand-made panther rolled the four lizard-like creatures onto their backs.
The sand-made panther then launched itself towards the nearest wall and start to run up it, heading towards Rin and the fist-lizard like creature.
Rin quickly moved her head to the side to avoid the incoming claw with the sand-made panther successful striking the lizard-like creature with it's claw.
This released it's grip on Hayate.
"Now's your chance, Rin!" The voice said and the wielder of Hayate began to attack the lizard-like creatures, defeating them.
"Thanks for the help." Rin said as she began to look at the person who aided her.
However, her eyes widened when she saw that the person is Shan with a slight disapproving expression on her face whilst her sand-made panther walked up to her.
"….Did I do something wrong?" Rin asked, the wielder of Hayate starting to gain a slight nervous expression on her face.
"How about you deciding to run ahead than everyone else by yourself?" Shan questioned, causing Rin to laugh sheepishly.
"Sorry…" Rin said…..whilst avoiding eye-contact, causing the previous wielder of Endless Dash to sigh slightly.
"Anyway. You did good on fighting them by yourself until I decided to aid you." Shan explained, making Rin to nod her head.
It was at that moment that Shan noticed something.
"You should probably be careful when swinging your blades." Shan pointed out, causing Rin to gain a confused expression on her face as she glanced down at the twin blades of Hayate and saw that both blades are burning red.
"I didn't realize how hot those claws where!" Rin exclaimed in her head as she glanced back at the lizard-like creatures.
"Heh. You should get them cool down in water first before Mr Daishinji sees them." Shan commented, a small smirk appearing on her face.
"Yeah, I will…." Rin responded, not wanting to imagine Tetsuo going on an angry rant towards her and the others when they get back.
"What the heck is this monster!" Leopold exclaimed as he stared at the huge spider-like creature that is staring down at him and Noelle.
"Is this one of those monsters that Lady Mereoleone talked about?! It's just a huge spider!?" Noelle shouted in her head, her body shaking slightly.
"Noelle…..are you scared of spiders?" Leopold asked, him noticing the silver hair girl shaking.
"What?! No!" Noelle shouted in response.
Seemingly starting to become impatient, the spider-like creature shot out a burning red poison out of it's mouth, causing the two Magic Knight to jump out of the way and when Noelle glanced at the spot where she and Leopold where once starting, she saw that the ground is bubbling.
"Hm? Has this monster's poison has lava-like qualities?" Noelle questioned in her whilst raising an eye-brow.
"Noelle!" Leopold called, causing the silver hair girl to snap her head back towards the spider-like creature and saw that it is seemingly preparing to shoot webs.
"Fire Magic: Spiral Flame." Leopold announced, releasing two spiralling fire tornados from his palms which then struck the spider-like creature, causing it to stagger to the side, but seemingly done no other damage.
"Figures my attribute has no effect on this monster, considering the type of environment that we're in." Leopold thought with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon's Spikes." Noelle announced and fired water-shaped spikes at the spider-like creature. The water-based attack caused the spider-like creature to hiss slightly.
"Did my attack caused damage?" Noelle thought, expecting the spider-like creature to easily withstand the attack.
"That isn't important, time to continue my attack." The silver hair girl thought before dashing forwards, Argent-Couronne at the ready.
The spider-like creature fired a line of web which Noelle easily jumped over, but her eyes widened when she saw that the spider-like creature has started to create a series of shapes with the following line of web.
"I'm in trouble!" Noelle shouted in her head as she positioned Argent-Coronne in front of her.
Fortunately, before the series of webbing could make contact with the silver hair girl, a stream of fire appeared, burning the line of web.
This seemingly cause the spider-like creature to become shock before turning towards where the attacks originated and saw Fuegoleon and Salamander.
"Brother!" Leopold said with a smile on his face.
"Are you two okay?" Fuegoleon asked as he glance between Leopold and Noelle.
"Yes, Sir." Both Leopold and Noelle responded at the same time.
This cause Fuegoleon to gain a small smile on his face before turning his attention towards the spider-like creature with Salamander beginning to growl aggressively.
"Now then, time to deal with you….?" Fuegoleon said before noticing something with the spider-like creature.
With the spider-like creature, it started to become nervous at the presence of a spirit, causing it to immediate retreat, disappearing into the darkness.
"…...How anti-climatic." Leopold commented in a blank tone of voice.
"Hmph! What did you expect? You're brother wields a great spirit after all, it would be expected for anyone and everything to back away from a spirit's presence." Noelle commented in a confident tone of voice.
With the captain of the Crimson Lions, he currently possess a frown on his face.
"That monster's Mana…..it feels artificial…." Fuegoleon thought, starting to become concerned.
"And that should be the last of these….things." Donna commented as she took out Ikazuchi from the belly of the same lizard-like creature that Rin fought before.
"Hmmm. These creatures certainly have adapted to survive the environment." Secre commented as she examine one of the defeated lizard-like creatures.
As of right now, the two Sword of Logos Magic Knights, plus Ekrixi and some Crimson Lion Magic Knights, have been dealing with a large group of lizard-like creatures which have decided to ambush them, but were easily dealt with.
"Right, we're keep on moving everyone." Ekrixi said, causing everyone to nod their heads, although some of the Crimson Lions are slight iffy about having someone else other than Captain Fuegoleon, or Mereoleone, is telling them what to do.
"Why did Lady Mereoleone had to be relaxed about how everyone can travel these underground caverns by themselves." Ekrixi thought with a small frown on his face.
"At least Captain Fuegoleon did become concerned with the safety of his men whilst Sarha decided to split off to round up anyone who gone too far, like with the current wielder of Hayate." Ekrixi thought again before shaking his head before starting to follow the others.
With Donna, the wielder of Ikazuchi is glancing at the previous wielder of Rekka with a slight nervous expression on her face.
"You want to ask about Asta, right?" Secre suddenly ask, causing Donna to nod her head.
"Yeah….." Donna responded whilst gaining a sad expression in her eyes.
The wielder of Ikazuchi is still feeling guilty about the entire ordeal of kicking Asta out of the Clover Kingdom which then results in the rise of his Primitive Dragon form.
It was at that moment that Ekrixi sense Donna's eyes on him.
"Is there something wrong?" Ekrixi asked as he glance over his shoulder and Donna quickly turned her head to the side.
"She was wo-?!" Secre began to say, but her mouth was swiftly covered up by Donna's hands.
"Not now." The wielder of Ikazucki whispered in a firm tone of voice, making Secre stare at her for a few seconds before nodding her head.
"I'd expect that Donna and the others are wanting to know how Asta is doing…." Ekrixi thought, he and Shan have expecting at that some point the Sword of Logos Magic Knights, or Fuegoleon, Mereoleone and the self-introduced Leopold, will what to know how Asta is doing.
"That elf/human girl will likely be curious about my grandson as well." The previous wielder of Rekka thought, inwardly becoming surprise at this realization.
It was at that moment that footsteps can be heard, coming from a side tunnel which is located just a head.
This cause everyone to become on guard, but after a few seconds Rintaro appeared, half carrying the now controlling Dimi.
"Domi!? Are you okay?!" Donna asked in alarm as she and Secre rushed forwards.
"Yeah…..just still getting to the heat…..despite using Mana-Skin…." Domi responded with a small smile on her face.
"I have been using my magic to soak "her" in water, but even still….." Rintaro explained before trailing off with a slight unsure expression on his face.
"Hmmm. We need to get to a location where the temperature is lower." Ekrixi commented, a slight worried expression appearing on his face.
"Is there even a place like that here?!" One of the Crimson Lion Magic Knights asked with a questioning expression on her face.
"Of course. There are usually small areas in volcanic areas where the temperature is tolerable." Ekrixi explained, making the Crimson Lion Magic Knight to nod her head, yet there is a slight uncertainty within it.
The group of Magic Knights continued to make their way through the underground cavern of Yultim Volcano until turning around a corner and saw Mereoleone sitting on a rock who perk up when saw the approaching group.
"Oh? So all of you managed to make it here….alive." Mereoleone commented with a slight grin on her face.
"Here…?" Rintaro asked in a confused tone of voice before noticing a stone arch-way some distance away.
"The entrance to the Dungeon." Ekrixi stated, making Mereoleone to nod her head slightly.
"Have the others came through here?" Ekrixi asked, expecting that those who have splintered away from the group arrived earlier and already went into the Dungeon.
"Nah. As far I'm aware, your the first to arrive." Mereoleone responded before noticing the state that Domi is in.
"I'd scouted the interior of the Dungeon's entrance and it's much cooler than out here." Mereoleone explained, causing Domi's eyes to lit up.
"Thanks!" The wielder(s) of Eien no Midori before suddenly dashing towards the entrance of the Dungeon.
"Don't go too far!" Ekrixi called, but Domi was already out of sight.
"I hope "she" will be okay…." Rintaro said in a slight worried tone of voice.
"I think the both of them will be okay after a few minutes of cooling down." Ekrixi commented, causing the wielder of Nagare to nod his head slightly.
It was at that moment that more footsteps can be heard, causing the currently present Magic Knights to turn towards the direction of the footsteps and saw Noelle, Leopold, Fuegoleon and the remaining Crimson Lion Magic Knights appearing.
"Everyone managed to get this point in reasonable good condion." Fuegoleon commented with a small smile on his face.
"We just need to wait on Shan and Rin." Ekrixi pointed out, causing the captain of the Crimson Lions to realize that the two named aren't present, along with…..
"Hang on. Where's Domi/Fillon?" Noelle asked, noticing the absence of the wielder(s) of Eien no Midori…..whilst giving Rintaro a glare.
"S-she's just cooling off in t-there." Rintaro explained whilst stuttering slightly as he point towards the entrance of the Dungeon.
This cause Noelle to sigh in relief.
"Hey! You guys managed to get here first!" A voice called, causing everyone to turn towards the source of the voice to Rin and Sarha approaching the group.
"You!" Noelle snapped slightly as she marched up to Rin, making the wielder of Hayate stop in her tracks.
"Y-yeah?" Rin asked, starting to become nervous.
"Why did you decided to run ahead by yourself?!" Noelle demanded in an angry tone of voice.
"I….eh….I'm sorry..." Rin managed to say in a weak tone of voice.
This cause Noelle to growl slightly.
"I'm pretty sure that Acier has never became angry like this." Ekrixi thought whilst going through all the memories that contain Richita, Acier and Sayo.
"Right then. Now that everyone is present, we can start searching the Dungeon." Fuegoleon said, catching everyone's attention, along with making Rin relieved that she wouldn't have to face Noelle's anger…..as of the current time that is.
And there we have, the second part of the "training" at Yultim Volcano which mainly involves everyone making their way towards the Dungeon. We also got a glimpse of Shan's magic.
In Gotchard:
1) Everyone arrived at the spot where Spanner instructed them to go and swiftly stole all 101 Chemy Cards, with the aid of some members of the Alchemy Assosiation before disappearing. Lachesis appeared and revealed that Spanner wants to transmute all of the Chemies onto himself, a process that will put great strain on his body, but he plans on defeating the remaining two Dark Kings along with the Chemies. Houtarou then got a phone call and was told that the Ichinose Kitchen got attacked.
2) After being encouraged about the current situation, Houtarou and the others encounter Spanner, who was in the process of transmutating himself with the Chemies before getting intruppted. Houtarou and Spanner fought which ended up with Gotchard being the victor, along with the destruction of the Valvard-Driver, and Spanner walked away. Meanwhile, Atropos got kidnapped with Gaelijah explaining that she planning on transfering the strength of the human model into Atrops, becoming a stronger Malice Doll, along with the death of the human model who Gaelijah revealed that Atropos is modeled after Rin.
And there we have it, the destruction of the Valvard-Driver, although I'm expecting that Spanner will transform back into Valvard during the last episode and it is revealed that Atropos is based on Rin, something that makes sense since the two of them interacted a lot during the series. So if Atropos is based on Rin, then it could be that Geryon is modeled after Fuga.
So with Kamen Rider Gavv, the secondary Rider has been revealed, Kamen Rider Valen who uses the chocolate-based Chocodon Gochizo into a yet unknown gun-shaped Driver. It seems that Valen is a reference to Valentine's day. There is also a rumour that Shoma is actually an alien and the Henshin Belt Gavv is a part of his body.
