Pokémon Fashion Flash
We join our heroes as they find themselves walking on a street called Scissor Street
"Scissor Street? Why'd we come here?" Ash asked
"You'll see" Brock replied
"Sure are a lot of Pokémon beauty parlors." Ash said
"I'll say" Green added as she looked at the buildings
"Is there any place special you want to visit, Brock?" Ash asked
"Yeah. What possible reason are we here for?" Jake asked
"Wait a minute! I just remembered that Scissor Street is also called Breeder's Lane!" Misty pointed out
"That does seem to make sense since Brock is aiming to be a Pokémon Breeder" Green said
"Where is it?" Brock asked as he looked around
" So THAT's why we're here! Brock's always gotta see that latest breeder gear." Ash realized
The gang continued walking through the streets of HopHopHop town.
"Say Brock. Can you tell us why Scissor Street is called Breeder's Lane?" Jake asked
"Sure thing, Jake. Some of the best breeders have shops here. There are lots of terrific make-up places and fashion salons, too, just for Pokémon." Brock explained
"Sounds exquisite" Green commented
"Saur" Ivysaur said
"Cubone" Cubone added
Misty noticed something and runs up to a sign with a Koffing and an Ekans
"Hey! Oh, look! This must be the newest fashion! How cute!" she squealed
"You think that's cute, huh?" Ash asked
"Come on, we gotta go in!" Misty said as she drags Ash away
"Whoa! I don't wanna go in there!" Ash protested
Jake, Green, Ivysaur, and Cubone all look at the sign very carefully
"Doesn't this sign look a little suspicious, Jake?" Green asked
"You could say that, Green. Those Pokémon on the sign is obviously Koffing and Ekans." Jake said "And we all know who owns those Pokémon."
"And don't forget that R on the sign" Green said as she points at the R on the sing
Ivysaur and Cubone all frowned at this
"This is obviously Team Rocket" Jake said
"Come on guys. Let's catch up to Ash and Misty" Brock said
"Right" Jake and Green said
Everyone was seen going inside a salon with an R on it. James voice was heard over a speaker
"You won't believe how beautiful a Pokémon can be! Step in, and see for yourself. Let us dazzle you with the latest fashions by the expert artists at Salon Roquet." he announced
The gang walked up while hearing the announcement
"Did he just say, Salon Roquet?" Ash asked
"He sure did" Jake said with a sweat drop
"Why does that name sound so familiar?" asked Misty
"Whoa! Is that supposed to be a Pokémon, or a Christmas tree?" Brock asked as he looked at the sign
Ivysaur and Cubone snickered as they heard that
As the gang continue to look at the sign, Brock looks around for the place he wants to go
" I think I'm gonna get in line." Misty said
"Huh?" Ash puzzled
"You must be joking" Jake said
"It's there!" Brock said as he points at a building and runs to it "I've found it! I've been looking all over for this place!"
His friends walked up to the building
" This is the store you've been looking for?" asked Misty
Brock nervously reached his hand over to the door, but was unable to open it
"What're you so nervous about?" Ash asked
"Let's just go in" Jake said as they all entered the building
"Hi! Can I help you?" a female voice asked
Brock yelled and darts in the building
The gang looks to see a woman massaging a Chansey. She has green hair and is wearing a white shirt with a stripe on it and white pants
" Just relax. Release all your tension." the woman said to Chansey
Brock was both surprised and amazed by the way the woman was taking care of Chansey.
"Now you'll have more energy." she said
Chansey looks at itself in the mirror and begins to pose. Just then, another woman comes in
"Chansey, I've come for you, darling!" she said as the green haired woman brought Chansey over "Oh! Don't you look precious?"
"Thank you for bringing Chansey to my salon." the green haired woman said
" See you soon, Suzie" the trainer said as she left the salon with Chansey
The woman now known as Suzie looks at the gang
"May I help the next customer?" she asked
"Oh. We're not really customers, ma'am" Jake said
"We're just kinda, sorta, browsing around." Ash added
Brock comes up completely lovestruck
"Uh no. Uh"
Misty quickly pushes Brock aside and sees something
" Look! Isn't that Vulpix the cutest thing?" she asked "Don't you wanna hug it?"
The gang looks to see a Vulpix resting on a chair.
"It's so cute sleeping like that" Green gushed
Ash takes out his Pokédex and scans Vulpix
Ash's Pokédex: Vulpix, a Fox Pokémon. Its six tails are extremely beautiful. As it evolves, it grows even more tails. Vulpix uses powerful flame attacks.
"Say, Jake. Didn't you catch a Vulpix?" Ash asked
"I sure did, Ash. That was when we were on our way to Celadon City" Jake said
" I love it's hair. I wish I had hair like Vulpix that looks so shiny and soft." Misty said as she reached her hands towards it
"Don't touch it!" Suzie warned
But it was too late as Misty had picked Vulpix up
"You're just about the cutest Pokémon I've ever.." she said
Misty's sentence was cut off as Vulpix fired Flamethrower in her face. Vulpix then leaped out of Misty's hands and back on the chair while going back to sleep
"Very cute" Misty said before falling over
"She warned ya" Jake sighed
"Saur" Ivysaur groaned
Ash's Pokédex: Vulpix uses powerful flame attacks.
"Duh!" Ash said
"That's good to know" Green said
"Please pardon Vulpix, it doesn't like to be picked up or hugged by strangers." Suzie said
" Wish I'd known that sooner" Misty groaned
"Uh, Susie?" Brock spoke up nervously
"Yes?" Suzie asked as she turns to him
This caused Brock to become even more nervous
"My name's Brock. Nice to meet you, Susie. I wanna breed like you. I mean, I wanna be a breeder like you!" he stammered
"It's very nice to meet you, Brock. I'm flattered you want to make me your model." Suzie said
"Yes, I wanna model you. I mean, I'm flattered that you're flattered! I mean, your Vulpix is nice." Brock stammered
The gang looked at him confused
'What's the matter with him?' Jake thought
"What I'm really trying to say is, Suzie, I'm begging you to accept me as your pupil!" Brock declared
This caused everyone in the room to become shocked
"Say what?" Green asked in surprise
"You gotta be kidding, Brock." Ash said
"Mind your own business, Ash! I know what I'm doing!" the former Pewter gym leader snapped "Please say yes, Suzie!"
"I don't have pupils, Brock. Breeding takes up all my time." Suzie sadly said
"What makes her such a great breeder anyway?" Ash asked
Hearing this made Brock furious
"HOW DARE YOU!" he bellowed
"Whoa, Brock! He only asked a question. No need to get upset" Jake said
But Brock ignored him and takes out a microphone
"The sensational Suzie of Scissor Street has been awarded the trophy for excellence at the World Pokémon Breeder's Contest for three consecutive years! Wait! There's more! Lights. In addition to that, the readers of Pokémon Friends magazine named her the most popular breeder, four years running! And her hugely popular website records over ten-thousand hits per day!" he announced
"Wow" Green said amazed
"Now that's what I call a great breeder!" Misty added
"You better believe it!" Brock said
"Okay, Brock! We heard you clear and LOUD!" Ash said in shock
"Emphasis on the loud part" Jake added as rubbed his ears
Cubone rubbed his ears as well as he held his ears during Brock's announcement
" I wonder if this Vulpix has ever won any awards in competition." Misty wondered as she looked at Vulpix
Brock cames out while still talking through the microphone
"That's a fabulous question, Misty. Vulpix is the hottest supermodel of the Pokémon world. Notice the gorgeous, flowing tails that have made Vulpix a champ. Plus, there's.."
Brock was interrupted when Ash pulls him from the back
"We get the idea, Brock! Vulpix is terrific too!" Ash said
"So let's not disturb it while it's sleeping. Okay?" Jake added as he swipes the microphone and throws it away
Vulpix yawns as it continues to sleep. Green giggles at how cute it is
The gang along with Suzie sat down to have some tea while Pikachu, Ivysaur, and Cubone eat some Pokémon food
"So all five of you are traveling on a Pokémon journey together?" Suzie asked
"That's correct, Ms. Suzie" Jake said
"Just call me Suzie. Calling me Ms. makes me feel old" Suzie giggled before looking at Ash's Pikachu and Ivysaur " Your Pikachu has a beautiful, shiny coat. And Ivysaur's bud is so big and unique"
"Thanks" Ash and Jake said
"Are you the one who prepares all of Pikachu's, Ivysaur's, and Cubone's food, Brock?" Suzie asked
"Yes, I do!" Brock said as he stood up
"In fact, he makes different kinds of food for different types of Pokémon" Green informed
"And it's Brock's own recipe, too." Misty added
" My career as a breeder also began when I first became interested in Pokémon nutrition." Suzie explained
Vulpix comes up and looks at the Pokémon food Pikachu was eating. Pikachu offers Vulpix the food it was eating. Vulpix took a bite and tastes it
"Whoa" Brock said as he looks closely
Vulpix finishes eating
"Vulpix" Vulpix said as it likes the food
"I can't believe Vulpix is eating the food I made!" Brock said amazed
"Brock, this is really impressive! Vulpix never eats food that I haven't made myself." Suzie said
"Looks like Vulpix is a fan of Brock's cooking." Ash said
"You can say that again" Jake said
"Ivy" Ivysaur said said as it watches Vulpix eating more of the food
"Thank you, Vulpix!" Brock said before accidentally banging his head on the table "I'm not worthy!"
Suzie was giggles at Brock's antic
"Suzie, we saw some super fancy looking Pokémon when we were walking down the street. Is that really the latest trend?" Misty asked
"By any chance, did you pass a very large salon on the way?" Suzie asked with a frown
"You mean that really tacky looking place?" Ash asked
"Goes by the name Salon Roquet if I may add" Jake pointed out
"Ever since it opened, some trainers have been trying to make their Pokémon as flashy as possible." Suzie explained
"So that salon started the trend!" Brock realized
"A good breeder is always trying to bring out a Pokémon's inner strength and personality, but this new fad is about standing out, not what's inside." Suzie said
"I don't like it either. It's pretty stupid to waste your time showing off." Ash said
"I have to agree with ya, bud." Jake said "My Pokémon have no need for fashion. Right guys?"
"Ivysaur" Ivysaur said as it agrees with him
"Cubone" Cubone added as he felt a little unformfortable at being dressed up
"But sometimes even Pokémon like to get dressed up and show off a little, just like the rest of us. Right, Pikachu? I see it now." Misty said she imagines Pikachu in a dress
"Pika Pika?" Pikachu puzzled
"I think Pikachu's perfect the way it is. We don't need any goofy fashions." Ash said
"There is absolutely nothing wrong with being yourself" Jake points out
"Yep. It's what's going on inside that really counts." Ash said
" I never said the inside wasn't important, but the outside counts, too!" Misty argued
"The inside is what matters!" Ash argued back
"Outside too!" Misty yelled
"Inside!" Ash fired back
"Outside too!" Misty repeated
Everyone sweat drops as Ash and Misty argue
"There they go again" Jake sighed
"Shouldn't any of you stop them?" Suzie asked
"That's like trying to stop the tide." Brock replied
"Yeah. Even if you do try to stop them, they'll just keep going" Green added "You'll get use to it after a while"
" If you think fashion's so great, how about taking your Psyduck to that salon?" Ash said sarcastically
"Hey! What a great idea! Let's go, Psyduck!" Misty said as she let's out her Psyduck
"Psy yi yi" Psyduck said
" Now we'll see who gets the last quack!" laughed Ash
"Ha! Anyway, Psyduck and I are so cute, we'll look good whatever fashion we wear!" bragged Misty
"I'm sure Psyduck will." Ash said skeptically
"WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT FASHION?!" Misty bellowed "Right, Psyduck?"
"Psy-y-y duck?" Psyduck said confused
"This may be more of a challenge then I thought it would be." Misty muttered
"Better get going!" Ash said
" Ha! You'll be jealous when we get back from the salon and Psyduck turns out to be even cuter than Pikachu! Come on, Psyduck!" Misty said as she and Psyduck head on out
"I'll go with her. To make sure she doesn't do anything too reckless" Green said as she heads out herself "See you later guys"
"See ya" Jake said
"I wonder if it's what's on the outside or what's inside that really counts in the end. Ever since that new salon opened, I've been wondering about my methods." Suzie said
"Don't say things like that!" Brock yelled "Suzie, you've got to keep following the path you believe in!"
"He's right, Suzie. You can change a Pokémon's outer appearance, but no matter what, they are still the same on the inside. After all, true strength and beauty comes from within" Jake said
"Ivysaur" Ivysaur said
"Cubone!" Cubone said boldy
"Jake has a point. We have to stick up for what's inside together! Right, Pikachu?" Ash asked Pikachu
"Pikachu" Pikachu replied
"That's very kind, but, how can we?" Suzie asked
"If they wanna put style over substance, we'll give customers substance with style!" Brock said
"What do you have in my mind, Brock?" Jake asked
Pretty soon, the boys were able to get some customers into Suzie's salon.
"There's still a few seats left in the back of the room for our lecture on Pokémon care!" Brock said through his microphone
" Each Pokémon needs your special care and attention. Whenever a Pokémon's been injured in a battle, it should be given a therapeutic massage." Suzie lectured as she massages Pikachu
Meanwhile, Misty and Psyduck were in line to Salon Roquet. Green was behind them
"Remind me again why you are joining us, Green?" Misty asked curiously
"I just thought you could use some company" Green answered before thinking 'Also to check out this Salon Roquet myself. I swear there is something suspicious about this place'
The line to Salon Roquet got shorter leaving only the girls and Psyduck left.
"Hey! Wait! Where did everybody go?" Misty asked
"Why did they left?" Green wondered
The very same trainer with the Chansey walked up to them
"Say, weren't you two over at Suzie's?" she asked
"Of course. We just saw you leave with your Chansey" Green replied
"Susie's lecture just started. It's a series about Pokémon care. Today, she's talking about massage." she informed them
"A lecture on Pokémon massage?" Misty asked
"That's interesting" Green said
Back Suzie's salon, Suzie continues her lecture. Ash and Pikachu are with her while Jake, Ivysaur, and Cubone are next to them
"This volunteer and his Pikachu will now demonstrate the techniques we learned in today's lecture." Suzie said
Ash and Pikachu nod at this
"As you may already know, a Pikachu's electric sacs are located in its cheeks, and they become very tense after a difficult battle." Suzie explained
"Pika Pikachu" Pikachu replied
"Ash, would you please massage Pikachu's cheeks like I showed you earlier?" Suzie asked
"Uh, sure" Ash answered
Ash walks up to Pikachu who was lying on the table.
"Uh, let's see" he said as he massage Pikachu's cheeks
"Maybe, uh" Ash said as he continue to massage Pikachu's cheeks which he likes "How does that feel, Pikachu?"
Everyone was astounded by this
'You're a natural, bud' Jake thought happily
"Good communication between Pokémon and their trainers is essential. These techniques build trust and bring out a Pokémon's personality." Suzie explained
"I think Susie will agree with me that any technique is only as good as the trainer or breeder who uses it." Brock add on
The people that have went to Salon Roquet begin to wonder if what they did was wrong as they looked at their Pokémon.
'I wonder how the girls are doing' thought Jake
Misty, Psyduck, and Green are standing by the door of Salon Roquet. It opens and they came in
" Hello there, everybody!" Misty greeted
The patrons' become surprised by seeing them. Misty was confused while Green looked at them with suspicion
'Why do they look so familiar' Green thought
"Welcome, young ladies." the female patron greeted
The female and male stylists grabs Misty and drags her to their work zone
"Hey! What are you doing?" she asked in shock
"Step in! Don't be shy." the male stylist insisted
" No, not me! Psyduck!" Misty protested
"Right this way" the small patron said as he pushed Green forward
"I didn't agree to this!" Green protested
"Don't be so hard on yourselves. You're just as lovely as any Psyduck." the female stylist said
"Hey! Hold on a second!" Misty yelled as they did something to her
"It's another masterpiece!" the male stylist said
It then shows that they have given Misty a huge makeover. Her hair is tied up in buns and held up by two pink-heart shape and green circle hair ties, and two pink hair clips. Misty was also wearing a red shirt with a pink jacket with with green and yellow stripes and an image of an Electrode. She was also wearing a pair of goggles on her neck. Misty was also wearing different shoes as well.
"Whoa" Green said as she looked at Misty's new look
"You like them?" the female stylist asked as she and the male stylist holds a mirror in front of Misty
Misty looks at her reflection and absolutely loves her look
"I love it!" she said with glee "You've really captured the real me! You're a totally amazing artist! I look so cute!"
" I'm thrilled." the female stylist said
" There's nothing that pleases us more than a satisfied customer." the male stylist added
The two stylists then looks at Green
"Now for you" the female stylist said
"Wait wait wait wait!" Green said frantically
But the two stylists drag her in and did the same thing they did with Misty
"Hey! Stop that!" Green yelled before giggling "That tickles!"
The two stylists were then finished with Green's makeover. Her hair was tied in a ponytail. She was also wearing a dark green shirt over a red jacket, a blue short skirt, and light blue flat shoes. They then held the mirror up to her
"What do you think?" the male stylist asked
Green looks at her reflection
"Wow. Look at me! I look really good in this" Green admitted as she looks at the clothes she is wearing
"Glad you like it" the female stylist said
"Why don't we try out even more new styles?" Misty suggested
"Time for a makeover!" the two stylists said as they begin to apply makeup on Misty's face
Meowth became very annoyed by this and decides that enough is enough
" Forget about the makeover!" he yelled "Those girls hang around with that Pikachu and Bulbasaur! We gotta grill the kids to figure out how to steal them!"
It was then that Misty and Green finally realize what's going on
"Hey, wait! You're Meowth!" Misty said
"I knew it! You're Team Rocket in disguise!" Green yelled
James and Jessie then attacks Meowth
"We we trying to find out until you blew our cover!" Jessie snapped
" First, you get the opponent to relax, then you pump them for info!" James added
"So, stop pumping me and get that Pikachu and Bulbasaur!" Meowth shouted as he scratches them
Meowth's scratching also removes Jessie and James' disguises
"We'll never tell you phonies anything!" shouted Misty
James grabs Green and holds a paint brush in front of her face
"So, you two figured out the truth. Well, you better tell us where Pikachu and Bulbsaur are if you don't want your face painted like Frankenstein!" James threatened
"In case you didn't know. Bulbasaur is now an Ivysaur" Green informed
"Ivysaur?!" Team Rocket said with confused
"That's right. Do what you want to my face, but I'll never tell you where Pikachu and Ivysaur are!" Green yelled defiantly
"Me neither!" Misty said "Hey, Psyduck!"
"Psyduck?" James asked
Everyone looked around the salon, but Psyduck is nowhere to be seen
"Where'd Psyduck go?" Meowth asked
"I don't see it." Jessie replied
"It's gone" Meowth said
"Psyduck" Misty grumbled in frustration
"Where did it run off to?" Green wondered
Green's question was answered as Psyduck was waddling over to Suzie's salon. It was able to escape without anyone noticing. Psyduck squeezed through the crowd of people and found Ash, Jake, Brock, Suzie, Ivysaur, Cubone, and Pikachu before getting their attention.
"Hey. It's Misty's Psyduck" Jake said
Pikachu, Ivysaur, and Cubone went up Psyduck
"Pika?" Pikachu asked
"Ivysaur?" Ivysaur asked
"Bone?" Cubone asked
"Duck Psy yi! Psyduck! Psy yi yi! Duck! Psyduck!" Psyduck yelled frantically
Pikachu, Ivysaur, and Cubone were alarmed by this. They turn to the others and begins to explain everything in their language
"What's the matter? Did something bad happen to Misty?" Ash asked
"And Green?" Jake asked
"Pika pika" Pikachu said
"Ivysaur saur" Ivysaur added
"Bone Cubone" Cubone added
"I knew there was something off about that Salon Roquet" Jake said "We better get over there and fast"
Pikachu, Psyduck, and Cubone raced out of the salon with Jake, Ash, Brock, and Suzie following behind. Psyduck was left behind as a result
The humans and the Pokémon made their way over to Salon Roquet. Our heroes went inside
"Misty!" called Ash
"Green!" called Jake
"Pika!" Pikachu yelled
"Saur!" Ivysaur added
"Cubone!" Cubone added
Team Rocket then took noticed of them. Misty and Green were tied up in two chairs
"It's Team Rocket again!" the boys said as Suzie came in
"Are we glad to see you, boys" Green said happily
"What took you guys so long?" Misty asked
Ash and Brock then took noticed of Misty's face
"What happened to her face?" they asked before struggling to keep themselves from laughing
"Dumb boys" Misty grumbled
"Whoa" Jake said as he looks at Green
He had never seen Green all dressed up like that. It made him blush seeing her this beautiful. Seeing Jake stare at her also made Green blush as well. She turns her head away bashfully.
The three boys then snapped out of it and focused on Team Rocket
"Let Misty go right now!" Ash demanded
"And let Green go too!" Jake also demanded
" Sorry, you'll have to wait your turns. We won't be finished with their makeovers until they look like this." Jessie said before doing a pose
" We're conducting some important beauty research." James explained
"Beauty research?" Suzie puzzled
"You call tying our friends up beauty research?" Jake asked with a glare
" Can't you understand that it's the beauty inside that counts?" Suzie asked "Every Pokémon is beautiful, we just have to help the Pokémon discover it!"
"What's she talking about?" Jessie asked
"What does she know about pretty Pokémon? Who cares about the inside? Outside counts." James claimed
Meowth then begins to scratch them
"What do you two numskulls know about Pokémon breeding?! This whole Salon Roquet idea was supposed to be a scam, remember?!" he reminded
Suzie becomes shocked at what Meowth had said
"I should've known!" Jake said angrily
"It was a brilliant plan! Part 1: Think up some stupid Pokémon fashions and take piles of money from the trainers." Meowth explained
Everyone who had been to Salon Roquet overheard this and all begin to realize their errors
"And part 2: Whenever a trainer brings in a rare Pokémon, first, get the trainer distracted, then steal the Pokémon on the spot!" Meowth finished
"What?!" Ash yelled
"How despicable!" Jake yelled
"And our greatest masterpiece of all will be that Pikachu of yours as well as your Ivysaur. How about a trade? These twerpy girls for them." Jessie offered
Misty and Green gasped at this
"Sorry, but no deal!" Jake said boldly
"Ivysaur!" Ivysaur growled
"You're trying to steal Pikachu and his Ivysaur, we're gonna battle!" Ash yelled
" Count me in, too! Tag team!" Brock yelled
Pikachu, Ivysaur, and Cubone all got into a battle stance
"Salon Roquet is ready, with our own fashion battle platform! Here goes!" James said with a laugh
He takes out a microphone and pushes a button. The ground begins to shake and the salon transforms into a platform. Jessie was seen dressed as a knight while James was dressed as a woman.
"And now, Salon Roquet present a fashion extravaganza and Pokémon battle-thon! To protect the world from boring fashion." Jessie announced
"To dress all people with flash and passion." James announced
"To give all Pokémon pretty faces."
" To extend our art to outer spaces."
"Jessie"
"James"
"Salon Roquet, when it comes to chic, we know what's right."
"Surrender your taste and prepare to fight."
"We're supposed to battle on that?" Ash asked
"Dazzle them, Ekans!" Jessie ordered
" Knock em dead, Koffing!" James ordered
Ekans and Koffing appeared still in the costumes that they wore on the sign
"I suppose that answers your question, Ash" Jake said
"We don't need costumes. Pikachu's super energized from that massage! Go!" Ash yelled
Pikachu runs up to face Team Rocket's Pokémon
"Geodude, go!" Brock yelled as he lets Geodude out
Jake noticed Green still tied up in her chair while on one of the platforms
"Guys, I'm going to get Green. You think you handle these guys?" Jake asked
"Sure thing, Jake. Leave it to us" Ash said
"Ivysaur, Cubone. With me" Jake said to them
His Pokémon complied as they all sneaked off to the side of the platform
"Be careful" Suzie said
"Geodude, give em the Seismic Toss!" Brock ordered
Geodude grabs Ekans and used Seismic Toss on it, but the snake Pokémon rolls like a wheel and knocks Pikachu back.
"Thunder Shock, now!" Ash ordered
Pikachu lands on the platform and unleashes Thunder Shock at Koffing and Ekans, but they spun around to repel the attacks with their costumes still. Pikachu was bewildered by this
"Koffing, cutie, Sludge makeover!" James commanded
Koffing shoots sludge in Geodude and Pikachu's eyes blinding them
"Pikachu!" Ash yelled
"Geodude!" Brock yelled
While Team Rocket was busy with battling Ash and Brock, Jake, Ivysaur, and Cubone snuck over to the side of the platform and to where Green is still tied up. Making absolutely sure that Jessie and James didn't see them, Jake quietly picks up Ivysaur who uses it's vines to grab Green's chair and lowers it down to where they are. Jake then sets Ivysaur down.
"Jake. You saved me" Green said as she was very happy to see him
"With some help from Ivysaur that is" Jake said "Use Razor Leaf to cut the ropes, bud"
Ivysaur did just that and Green was free. She then runs up and gives Jake a big hug
"Thank you, Jake. You're my hero!" Green said before giving Jake a kiss on the cheek
"Heh heh. No problem" Jake said as he blushed very deeply "I have to say. I like what you're wearing, Green. You look really pretty"
"Aw. Thanks. That's very sweet of you" Green giggled while blushing herself
Back with the battle,
"Now, the finale! Go!" Jessie ordered as she points a sword forward
Ekans and Koffing begins to charge at Pikachu and Geodude, but they tripped and ends up tearing their costumes
"Oh no! It's a fashion disaster!" James yelled in shock
Jake, Green, Ivysaur, and Cubone met back up with their friends just in time to see the battle
"Get up, you guys! We still got a battle to finish! Let's go!" Meowth commanded
Meowth, Koffing, and Ekans charged at Pikachu and Geodude. Only for Vulpix to block their way causing them to stop. Suzie then steps up
"Now what?" Brock asked
"Vulpix and I will take care of them!" the Breeder declared
"We'll give your Vulpix a makeover when we get rid of its tails!" Jessie taunted
"Time to give you a lesson in breeding! If all you worry about is your Pokémon's outer beauty, it's inner strength will be lost!" Suzie lectured
"A Pokémon is like a fashion model. All that counts is a pretty face!" Jessie retorted
"Like mine!" Meowth said as he, Koffing, and Ekans charges at Vulpix
"Vulpix, wrap them up with Fire Spin!" Suzie commanded
Vulpix charges with power. As Meowth, Koffing, and Ekans got closer, Vulpix unleashed Fire Spin which blasts them back and trapping them in a fire tornado
"Now that's powerful!" Jake said amazed
"Cubone" Cubone said amazed
The fire tornado then got closer to Jessie and James
"Must save the gowns!" they yelled
"Hey! Don't Fire Spin me! Help! Help! Help!" screamed Misty who was still tied up
Jessie and James were then caught in the fire tornado which goes up the stairs and sends the villainous trio flying into the air
"We're blasting off again!" they cried
Everyone was shocked by Vulpix's attack
"Now that's an attack" Ash said
"You said it" Jake added
Ash takes out his Pokédex to look up the move
Ash's Pokédex: Vulpix's greatest attack: Fire Spin. Using powerful flames to block it's opponent from moving, it then inflicts great damage.
'Wow. I have got to teach my Vulpix that move someday' Jake thought
" Did you see that?! A cute exterior hides inner strength! That's the Pokémon's true personality!" Brock said to the crowd
Everyone understood what Brock said as they begin to remove the accessories as well as the makeup that Team Rocket has put on their Pokémon
"As I said before: true strength and beauty comes from within" Jake said
"Ivysaur" Ivysaur said
"Cubone" Cubone added
Green looks at Jake with a blush. She was starting to develop feelings for him. Just then, Psyduck came up
"Psyduck!" Misty called
Psyduck looks up to it's trainer
"Just when we really needed you, you ducked out on us! Get up here quick and untie me! Untie me, now!" she demanded before coughing as she was slightly burned by the Firespin attack
After untying Misty and Green changing back to her normal attire, the gang was back in Suzie's salon
"Nice work, Vulpix!" Suzie said to Vulpix
"Vul!" Vulpix responded
"Thanks to all of you, I believe in what I'm doing again. You helped me regain confidence in my beliefs." Suzie said to the gang
"No problem, Suzie. Everyone needs a push in the right direction now and then" Jake said
"It's not hard when the person you're helping is as great as you are." Ash added
"And Brock?" Suzie said to the former Pewter Gym Leader
"Uh, yes?" Brock asked
"I was very impressed by the way you handled your Pokémon in a crisis like that." Suzie said
"Suzie" Brock said
"I have a lot more to learn about breeding Pokémon, even if I do have a championship. I'm still a student, not a teacher. Looks like you and I both have journeys ahead of us." she said to him
"You're leaving, Susie? What about your Pokémon salon?" Ash asked
"Yeah. Isn't that your job?" Green asked
" There are things I can only learn if I leave here. I want you to continue your journey, too, Brock. From now on, we're rivals." Suzie said as she held out her hand to Brock
"Uh, sure" Brock nervously said as he grabs her hand and shook it
Vulpix then walks up to Brock and nuzzles his leg which surprises him
"I'd be grateful if you took care of Vulpix for me." Suzie said
"Huh?" Brock puzzled
"You're the first person other than me that Vulpix has been friendly with. Right now, I believe you could do a better job of raising Vulpix than I could." Suzie explained
Brock's eyes flowed with tears as she said that
"Thanks! I don't know what to say!" he said with a bow
The friends and Pokémon all cried tears of joy as they watched this
"You don't have to worry, Vulpix. I promise I'll take good care of you." Brock assured Vulpix
He takes out a Poké Ball and sucks Vulpix in. The Poké Ball pings signalling Vulpix's capture
"Alright! I got Vulpix!" Brock said as he held up the Poké Ball
Everyone was happy for Brock as they look at each other. Jake and Green looked at each other, but then starts to blush. As Ash looks at Misty, who still has her make up on, he begins to stifle his laugh
"Hey, what are you laughing for?! This makeup is very fashionable!" Misty said
Even Ivysaur and Cubone begin to stifle their laughs as they find Misty to be very silly with the makeup on her face
The gang said their goodbyes to Suzie as they begin to continue on with their journey through Kanto. They were completely unaware of an angry mob chasing after Team Rocket.
