Chapter 25 Music Video Part 1
Saki's POV
The Next Day
"Alright everybody! Are we all ready for our hike?"
Everybody replied with some sort of 'yes' or 'ready' to Tsukasa's question.
"Then what are we waiting for", he asked. "To the trail!"
...
We had been hiking the trail for a while now, and some of us were beginning to get tired.
"How long do we have to keep going", Ena asked as she slouched down in exhaustion.
"According to the map", Rui started as he held it up. "We should be reaching a rest point in…I would say about ten minutes."
"Ten minutes", Ena asked in dismay. "I'm not sure if I can make it until then!"
"I'm…kind of tired too", I admitted.
"You are?! Do not fear, Saki! Your big brother will come to your rescue!"
After Tsukasa said this, he went in front of me, before squatting down.
"Saki, get on my back", he instructed.
I did as he told, and once I was on his back, he lifted me into the air; which made me giggle.
"You used to do this all the time when we were kids, Onii-Chan", I reminded him.
"Akito, let me get onto your back", Ena demanded.
Akito opened his mouth to say something, but then he looked at us, before sighing.
"Here", he said as he squatted down in front of Ena. "Get on."
"Thank you", Ena said. She then got on Akito's back, and he lifted her up into the air.
"I've got to take a pic of this", Airi said, before getting out her phone. "Say cheese."
"Cheese", Tsukasa and I said as Airi took the picture.
"Now then", Tsukasa started. "Let's us continue onward with our hike!"
With this, we continued to walk for a bit. Then, we started hearing something.
"What is that sound", Akito asked.
"It sounds like…flowing water", Toya pointed out.
"The rest point is supposed to by a river", Rui revealed. "I guess that means we're getting close to it."
"Oh thank goodness", Akito said, before he began rushing on ahead.
"Hey, I'm not that heavy", Ena said angrily.
We then all walked onward, and when we reached the rest point, we were surprised by what we saw.
There was a film crew set up in front of the river, and the people they were filming…were people we knew.
"Ichika, Saki", one of them said in shock.
"Shiho", Ichika said in shock.
"Airi-Chan", Shizuku said happily before rushing up to her.
"Shizuku", Airi said in shock. "What are you guys doing here?"
"We're shooting a music video", Shizuku revealed.
"A music video", Airi asked in shock.
"What are you guys doing here", Shiho asked us.
"We're on a camping trip", I revealed.
"A camping trip", Shiho asked.
"Yep", Airi replied. "Saki wants to do as many fun things during the Summer as she can, and this was one of her ideas."
"That sounds like so much fun", Shizuku stated.
"What are you guys doing her", An asked Akito and Toya.
"Tsukasa asked us to come on the camping trip as well", Toya replied.
"As Saki's big brother, it is my job to make sure she is safe while she is on her quest to enjoy her youth", Tsukasa added. "And since she is doing this with her group, it only seemed fitting that my group join them as well!"
"Wow! You're such a good big brother, Tsukasa-Kun!"
After Shizuku said this, she seemed to have an idea.
"Everyone", she started. "Since you are all here, would you like to stay and watch our music video shoot?"
"Really", Airi asked in shock "We can stay and watch?"
"Would it be okay if our friends stay and watch, Director", Shizuku asked as she went up to them.
"As long as they're not loud while we film, then it's okay", they replied.
"Yay", Shizuku said happily. "Thank you very much, Director!"
"Director", Rui started as he walked up to them. "I myself am an aspiring director. Would it be okay for me to observe as you work?"
"Sure thing, kid", the director replied, before looking at Yume Yume Jump! "Okay, Yume Yume Jump! Let's do this one more time from the top! Head to your starting positions!"
With this, Yume Yume Jump walked into the river.
"So cold", Kanade said.
"Just hold on for a little longer, Kanade", An said she patted her shoulder.
Then, Shiho and Shizuku sat down on one rock in the river, while An and Kanade sat down on the other.
"You all ready to go", the director asked, and the group nodded. "Good. Camera rolling. And…action!"
With this, a track of a song started playing, and the members of Yume Yume Jump! started singing over it.
After shooting some scenes of singing while sitting on the rocks, the group got up and began singing while standing in the river.
"Wow", I said in awe. "Doesn't Shiho-Chan look so cool, Ichi-Chan?"
"She does", Ichika replied.
Then, I looked over at Airi; who was staring at Yume Yume Jump intensely.
"You okay, Airi", Ena asked after she also noticed her staring.
"This is the kind of thing I always wanted to do as an idol."
Hearing Airi say this made me feel bad for her. I then looked back at Yume Yume Jump, and as I watched them perform…I suddenly got an idea.
"Guys", I started. "I suddenly had a really fun idea!"
"What is it, Saki", Ichika asked.
"Why don't we shoot our own music video?!"
