The 39 Thieves
Back in Ancient Japan, the Backland uncamouflaged and teleported Terran and the kids onboard.
"Jonathan, do you know where the Space Pirates went?" Zoe asked, desperately.
"Uh, no." He said.
"They just took off with my dad two minutes ago!"
"We're too late, Zoe." Rex said, looking at the his TPS. "No signal. Our parents just took off out of this time."
"Which means the Space Pirates has already headed to another time period after they obtained the fourth Cosmos Stone." Terran exclaimed.
"Oh no." She gasped.
"Then let's go after them!" Max declared.
"We can't." They turned to see Dr. Z. "Not until Ursula and the others get back here."
"They're not back yet?" Terran said.
"Then, where are they?" Max asked.
Back in the cave, The trio managed pry themselves out of their hold while the bears asleep.
"Good thing bears hibernate!" Ed panted, "I just hope they're deep sleepers!"
Ursula begins to sneeze, causing the three bears to wake up from her sneeze.
The Alpha Gang ran off as the three bears chases them once again."
"Beam us up, doctor!" Ursula shouted as they were teleported back to the ship.
The bears stops chasing them and looked around before looking up to see the time machine as it travels in the time warp. The bears waved goodbye to them.

The time machine travels in the time warp after they teleported the Alpha Gang as Rex checked his TPS.
"Still nothing from the time positioning system." He said.
"We came so close." Max said, "I saw Zoe's dad on the pirate ship, but I couldn't stop them!"
"It's okay, Max. Don't blame yourself." Terran assured. "We'll get him and the others back."
"He's right, knowing my dad's okay makes me even more determined to find our parents." Zoe said, determined.
"Yeah. You said it." Max agreed as Rex nodded.
"Attention, everyone." Jonathan said, "We're receiving a transmission."
He brings up the holoscreen of Reese.
"Jonathan, do you read?" She said, "Respond, Jonathan. This is D-Lab calling for Backland. Do you read, over?"
"This is Jonathan. We read you." He responded.
"Oh, there you are. I was starting to get worried."
"Guess what, Reese! We almost rescued dad!" Zoe told her.
Reese gasped. "You actually saw him?"
"Well, yeah. Somehow he got mistaken for Shogun Tokugawa."
"What? They thought dad was a Shogun?"
Rod and Laura then came in their view.
"Hey, guys, how's our grandad doing?" Rod asked.
"Not causing trouble I hope." Laura said.
"Uh, not at all." Max smiled as Dr. Z has uneased look. "He's been on his best behavior, isn't that right doctor?"
"Good." They said.
"Huh?" Reese saw something behind them and it was White Pterosaur. "Oh, wow. What's that behind you guys?"
"What?" Terran said and looked to left and saw the White Pterosaur.
"The Pterosaur!" Zoe gasped.
"Pterosaur?" Reese said.
The holoscreen was moved for them to see it.
"We don't know much about it, but it's been guiding us to all these different times and places." Rex explained.
"Follow me." It said, "You must hurry."
"Pterosaur, we're sorry, but the Space Pirates got the fourth Cosmos Stone!" Max said.
"We tried really hard to stop them, but we couldn't." Zoe said.
"You must try harder." It said, "Remember, the seven Cosmos Stones contains all the energy of the universe and if they are brought together, it will mean the end of time and space as we know it. You are the only ones who can stop this from happening."
The White Pterosaur then flew deeper in the time warp.
"Oh! No pressure!" Max groaned.
"So the Space Pirates have four Stones?" Reese asked.
"Which means that there are only three left." Max said before asking them. "Do you think just collecting all the Stones could really mean the end of the universe?"
"I don't know." Rex said.
"But given what she said, it's possible." Terran spoke.
"I'll do some research and see what I cam find." Reese said before the communication is cutting off.
"We're losing her again." Zoe said.
Jonathan types the few keys on the pilot board.
"Before the signal cut off, I manages to send Reese data from all the eras we've vistaed." He informed them.
"Good! But I think the Pterosaur has just led us to a whole new era!" Max exclaimed.
The time machine arrived in the desert.
"What time and place is this?" Rex asked.
"We're in the desert of Ancient Persia in the year 757." Jonathan said.
"Is it dangerous?" Max asked.
"It was a time when the desert was full of traders carrying goods between eats and wet, but…"
"But what?" Zoe said.
"Along with the traders, the desert was full of bandits and thieves."
The kids gasped.
"Oh, great!" Max groaned.
As the ship flew over the desert, the caravan was traveling through the desert and among them was a princess of sort until they stopped.
"An ambush! It's the gang of 40 thieves!"
The bandits pops up from the sand hill.
"That's us!"
They charged towards the caravan and disabled the peddlers.
"And stay down!"
"Actually, we're the 39 thieves today. Fez is sick, but that's still plenty to handle this job!"
The princess looks out to see the bandits is surrounding them.
"You there! Thief! Do you have any idea who you're dealing with?" She demanded.
"Sure I do. You were Princess Zahrah, the daughter of great sultan."
"Huh?"
"But now, you're my prisoner!"
Back on the ship, the Alpha Gang is giving Dr. Z him a back massage.
"You said giving you a back massage would help the circulation to your brain, doctor." Ursula said. "Is it working?"
"Yeah, have you been able to figure out how the Cosmos Stone work exactly?" Ed asked.
"Would it help if we massaged you even harder?" Zander asked as he massage his arm.
"Well, since Max said the dinosaur reacted to the yellow Cosmos Stone, there must be some connection between the Stones and dinosaurs!" Dr. Z said as Ursula massage his head hard.
The trio massage him harder, but it only makes him yelled painfully.
"I asked you for a back rub, not a pro wrestling smackdown, you numbskulls!" He yelled. "One thing's for sure, if these stones have an effect on dinosaurs, then to become the Dinosaur King, I have to have them myself!"
"Let's try shiatsu." Ed suggested.
"Just help me get up!" Dr. Z barked.
As they get him up, they were all tangled up in their limbs.
"Now we're tangled." Zander said.
"Whose knee is in my ear?" Dr. Z said.
"Stop squishing my spleen, whoever that is!" Ursula grunted.
"You clumsy clods! Can't one of you even untie a knot?"
They fall on the floor as they moved themselves to the door.
"I pulled on the end, but it was my own leg!" Ed said.
In the desert, Gabbro was out searching for the Cosmos Stone.
"I'm supposed to look for a secret door in the rock." He said, holding the piece of paper. "But if it's a secret, how can I find it?"
It was then he found a rock that shapes like a door.
"This must be it, but there's no doorknob. Guess I'm just gonna have to knock. Knock it down, that is." He swiped the card on his chest plate, summoning Afrovenator. "Bash it to bits, Afrovenator!"
The dinosaur stomps to the door and hits it with its head and again.
On the ship, Max's Dino Bracer detects the dinosaur in this time period.
"Guys, a dinosaur signal." He said.
"Jonathan, teleport us to that location." Terran said.
On the ground, Terran and the kids teleported behind the rock. Rex yelped and quickly take cover when he sees Gabbro and his dinosaur.
"It's that guy Gabbro." Zoe said, peeking them in the distance.
"It appears he's getting Afrovenator to bash that door, but for what?" Terran noted.
"Talk about banging your head against the wall." Max commented.
"Maybe when boss said it's a secret door, he meant you have to have a secret word to get it to open." Gabbro said before he turns the Afrovenator into a card.
"A secret door?" Zoe said.
"He's taking off!" Rex said as Gabbro flew away.
"Good! Let's check out that door." Max said.
"Hold on, Max."
"What's wrong?"
"Afrovenator is gone, but the dinosaur signal is still on." He said, checking his Dino Bracer.
Zoe gasped. "That must mean there's another dinosaur around somewhere."
"According to the signal, the dinosaur was located right in… there." Terran said, point at the door.
"Then let's go check it out!" Max said.
The group heads to the secret door and examined it.
"Gabbro sure wanted whatever's inside here." Rex said.
"It's gotta be a Cosmos Stone." Max assumed.
"Then we've gotta find a way to open this door." Zoe said
"But Gabbro mentioned that this door needs this secret word to get in." Terran said.
"Then let's use the magic words!" Max said, "Open sesame!"
As they looked at him flatly, the door suddenly opens after Max said the magic word, much to everyone's shock and dumbfounded.
"Weird." Zoe said, dumbfounded.
"There's no way that just work." Rex said, feeling the same thing. "How did that just work?"
"I'm… at loss of this." Terran said, dumbfounded.
"Hey, maybe there's a reason that saying became famous." Max exclaimed. "But who cares? Let's go get the Cosmos Stone!"
They enter the cavern as the lanterns was lit on the walls. They saw something shiny in the distance and went there to get the closer look.
"Whoa! Look at all that treasure!" Max awed in amazement. "Man, that's bigger than my pile of dirty laundry and there's no one here guarding it at all."
"I wonder what they all doing in this cave." Terran wondered.
Suddenly, they felt a rumble from the ground.
"What's that?" Rex asked. "Sounds like something big is headed this way."
"The dinosaur?" Max said as the rumble is a giant footstep.
"And from the sound of it, it's no little sauropod either!"
"Whatever it was, it's getting louder and closer!" Terran said.
When something comes in the light, it was a dinosaur or Isisaurus.
"Whoa! It's an Isisaurus!" Max gasped.
"You're right! You can tell by its super-thick neck!" Zoe noted.
"And look, it doesn't have the Spectral Pirates mark on its forehead!" Rex said, noticed it does not have the mark on its forehead.
"Well, that's a relief." Max said.
"If an Isisaurus wasn't summon by Space Pirates, then what's it doing in this cave? Or better yet, what's it doing in this time period?" Terran exclaimed before noticing someone is behind the Isisaurus. "Hey, who's there, whoever you are?"
"Miss, look out!" Rex yelled before ran towards her. "Get away before it crushes you!"
When he grabbed her hand, she refused to move.
"No. Genie's not going to hurt anyone."
"Genie?" He turns to see her and get lovestruck. It was Princess Zahrah.
"That's right. I summoned him with a magic lamp, so he must be a genie." She said.
"I thought genies were big bald guys with pointy shoes." Max said.
"Lamps, genies, treasure." Zoe said, "The only thing missing is a princess."
Princess Zahrah chuckled. "Well, I was missing until you found me. I'm Princess Zahrah."
"You mean you're a real live princess?" She gasped.
"Yep."
"I'm just plain Zoe."
"You can call me Max."
"My name is Terran, your highness."
"Uh, my name is…" Rex stammered while paralyzed by her beauty.
"I see you met my younger brother, Rex, Princess Zahrah." Terran said before noticed that look on his face. "Rex, Rex, you're still holding her hand."
He came over and knocked his noggin, snapping him out.
"Huh?!" He yelped when he realized he was holding her hand before taking his hand back while blushing, furiously.
"So what's a princess doing here in a cave with an Isisau- I mean here with a gigantic genie?" Max asked.
"I found the genie and the lamp after 39 thieves left me here." Zahrah said.
"The 39 thieves?" The kids said.
"Why would these 39 thieves leave you here?" Terran asked.
"Because when my caravan was returning to our main palace, we were attacked in the desert."
(Flashback)
The 39 thieves attacked the caravan and disabled the guards.
"The thieves overpowered my guards."
They took her to the secret cave and locked her in.
"Then they took me out here to this secret cave and left me here.."
"Stop! I command you!" She yelled. "What are you doing? You can't just leave me in here! Open this door at once!"
After trying to open the door, Princess Zahrah then explored the secret cave.
"Is there anyone in here?" She called before seeing the goods where the thieves stashed. "Oh my."
She then explored around the stolen goods.
"I doubt all the sultans in all the world have ever possessed a treasure as great as this one." She commented until she sees the lamp on the pedestal and picks it up. "What a beautiful lamp."
While she rubbed the lamp, a single droplet of water falls in the lamp's and the lamp lits up, surprising her as the card insides glows and activated, revealing the Isisaurus.
"Don't hurt me!" She said, but surprised when the dinosaurs drinks the water pond.
"But he didn't hurt me. In fact, it seemed at first all he wanted to do was fill his belly. He would eat and drink just about anything."
The Isisaurus noticed something is glowing in the pond and swallows it.
"Are you the genie of the lamp?" She asked.
The Isisaurus leans down towards her and licks her face.
"I'll take that as a yes." She said as she took that sign of friendship.
Princess Zahrah slides down along its tail and later bonds with the dinosaur.
"I soon realized that the genie of the lamp, despite his great size, was really just a giant."
Soon, Isisaurus left its head up with Zahrah on top of its head.
"If we we're going to be friends, then you need a name I can call." She then think. "Now… um… I'll just call you Genie. How's that?"
Isisaurus roared in approval, much to her delight before it let her down.
"I guess you approve." She smiled as it licked her. "If you really are the genie of the lamp, then I'd like to ask you for one wish. I must tell my father what has happened, so please! Help me get me out of this cave!"
Genie bellowed before turns around.
"That way? Oh, thank you, Genie."
Zahrah took the lamp with her before following it.
(Flashback ends)
"We were headed for the door when we met you." She said, finished explaining.
"So whether he's really a genie or not, at least we know it's friendly." Max said. "What I don't get is why those thieves would lock you up in this place and then just leave."
"Probably to hold me ransom."
"Ransom?" Terran said.
"Why would they need more riches when they have all this treasure?" Rex wondered.
"Is it the treasure that brought you here?" She questioned. "Did you come to steal it?"
"No. we were just looking for one gem in particular called Cosmos Stone. It's about this big."
"Except they were glowing and cannot be touched with bare hands." Terran added.
"The Cosmos Stone?"
"Right."
"You're going to need some help finding it in this huge cave." Princess Zahrah smiled. "Maybe Genie will help us, too, and we can all look for it together."
"But do you know where the Cosmos Stone is, princess?" Terran asked as Genie lets out its soft roar.
"I'm not sure but I think it's somewhere in the treasures among them. Perhaps we should start looking over there."
As the group heads to look for the Cosmos Stone, Dr. Z and the Alpha Gang is in the cave when they detect the dinosaur.
"According to the scanner, the dinosaur we picked up is close." Ed said.
"Yeah, well, I don't see anything worthwhile." Dr. Z said.
"Whaaaa?!" They gasped when they found the mount full of treasure.
"Look at all this treasure!" Ursula squealed. "I've never seen anything so beautiful in my life!"
They all dived in the pile of treasure.
"We're rich! Our troubles are over!" They said.
"I'm gonna start my own country!" Zander said.
"I'm gonna start my own chain of tasty taco stands!" Ed said.
"I'm gonna to buy your country and your taco stands and put up a solid gold statue of me instead!" Dr. Z said.
Ursula lifted the pile of gold with her immense strength.
"Get down from there, you three! This pile is mine!" She said, "You can all go get your own pile!"
"Aw, can't we at least keep the crowns?" Ed and Zander asked.
"No one takes anything until we find the Cosmos Stone!" Dr. Z barked. "So let's get looking!"
Ursula groaned and dropped the pile down.
Meanwhile, Gabbro came back with the monk while the door to the cave is opened.
"Start chanting and open the door." He demanded as he dropped the monk on the ground.
"Harmony for all, all in harmony." The monk started chanting as Gabbro noticed the door is opened.
"That worked really fast. Thank you."
"Can I go now? which way is China?"
"I don't know, but I do know the Cosmos Stone is about to be mine!" He flew in the tunnel as the mink ran away.
As the group look for the Cosmos Stone in the cave, Max spotted the opened card capsule.
"You guys, look at this!" Max said, picking up the card capsule. "It's a dinosaur card capsule."
"It must be Genie's." Zoe said.
"There were capsules even in this time?" Rex wondered.
Back with the Alpha Gang, Ed and Zander is tying up the bags full of treasures while Ursula and Dr. Z is digging around the treasure to look for the Cosmos Stone.
"I can't find it, doctor!" Ursula said while digging around the treasure.
"That Cosmos Stone's got to be here somewhere!" Dr. Z said.
"And when you find it, you'll hand it over to me." He looked up to see Gabbro is here.
"The only thing we're going to hand you is a dino-whupping!"
"That's right, pointy ears! The treasure's ours!" Ursula snarked. "Finders keepers, pirates weepers!"
"You're gonna be the one weeping after you meet my Afrovenator!" Gabbro swipe the card, summoning Afrovenator again.
"You should know better than to get between a woman and her jewels!" She retorted and pulls out her Alpha Scanner and slashed the card. "And now you'll learn why! Alpha Slash! Gush out, Spinosaurus!"
Spiny was summoned in full-size Spinosaurus.
Somewhere in the cave, Terran and the kids heard a roar as the battle occurred.
"What, more dinosaurs?" Rex said.
Spiny knocks Afrovenator into the wall.
"Try that again with my Spectral Armor!" Gabbro swipe the card, equipping Afrovenator with Spectral Armor.
"Spiny can match you, armor for armor! DinoTector, on!" Ursula pulls out the booster and plugs it in the Alpha Scanner, equipping Spiny with water-based armor.
Spiny and Afrovenator headbutted.
Ursula growled. "I'm not giving up my jewels!"
"Diamonds are girl's best friend and Ursula's his worst enemy!" Ed said while they finished tying up the sack.
"Let's go, Tornado Toss!" Gabbro swipe the move card.
Afrovenator roared before running around Spiny in extremely fast, creating a whirling tornado vortex, sending Spiny up and crashed the ceiling and then to the ground, defeated.
Ursula gasped and Afrovenator crashed through them.
"We got royally crowned!" They screamed while sent flying.
Afrovenator whipped its tail around, knocking the mound of treasure away and Gannro flys over the treasure while looking for the Cosmo Stone.
"After all that, the Stone's not even in this room?" He said as he and Afrovenator heads to other side of cave.
"Can you believe that guy? He left without taking any of the treasure." Ursula said.
"I bet you he flunked out of pirate school." Ed said.
"The point is that he wants the Cosmos Stone so badly that this treasure means nothing to him!" Dr. Z exclaimed. "Which is why we have to go and find it!"
"Well then, we better go fast because this cave's collapsing!" Zander said as the cave is collapsing.
Somewhere in the cave, the debris drops near the group.
"That's not a good sign." Max said, "We better get out of here!"
"Zahrah, come on!" Rex called.
"The cave is collapsing!" Terran shouted.
The group heads to the exit, but Gabbro and Afrovenator blocks their way.
"Gabbro's back!" Zoe said.
"And so is Afrovenator!" Terran said.
"Is he another genie?" Zahrah asked.
"The opposite." Rex said.
"And worst of all." The android added.
"Yeah, if you have a wish, he takes it away."
"I'll grant one wish. Hand over the Cosmos Stone and you can leave." Gabbro demanded.
"Step aside, Gabbro. There no time for this." Max said.
"Well, then you had better make some time or else!"
"Help us out, Genie!" Zahrah turns to Isisaurus, who roared.
"It's cool, Zahrah, Ace can handle this." Rex said.
"Wait, who is Ace?"
"You're about to find out, princess." Terran said.
"Dino Slash!" Rex slashed the card on his Dino Bracer. "Carnotaurus, blow them away!"
Ace was summoned in full-size Carnotaurus.
Ace kicks Afrovenator aside and away from Max.
"Wow, Rex, I didn't know you had a magic genie lamp, too." Zahrah said, amazed.
"Let's go, Ace! DinoTector, on!" Rex pulls out the booster and plugs it in his Dino Bracer, equipping Ace with wind-based armor.
Ace jumps over a charge and tail swing, kicking Afrovenator away from behind.
"Now's our chance, go!" Max said, but Gabbro blocks their way.
"You're not going anywhere until I get that Cosmos Stone!" He demanded.
"Look, we didn't find the Stone, okay?" Max said.
"Hmm?" Gabbro then spotted the lamp with the princess, thinking the Cosmos Stone is in it. "Oh, I know. You hid in the lamp, didn't you?"
Max tried to stop him as Gabbro flew over to her.
"You stay away from her!" Max growled as Rex defended her.
Genie came and headbutted Gabbro, sending him flying against the stalagmite.
"The cave is about to cave in! Rex, wrap this battle quickly!" Terran told him.
"Right! Now, Ace! Hurricane Beat!" Rex slashed the move card.
Ace used the Hurricane Beat on Afrovenator and defeated it while destroying the Spectral Armor.
"The cave is about to give!" Rex said, claiming the card. "It's now or never. Move!"
The group makes a run for the exit.
At the tunnel, the Alpha Gang and Dr. Z is pulling the cart that filled with sacks of treasure.
"Shame about the Cosmos Stone, but at least we're not leaving empty-handed." Dr. Z said.
Ed then noticed something is coming and sees Genie.
"An Isisaurus, and he's coming fast!" He yelped.
"You guys better start making a run for it and forget about the treasure!" Max exclaimed while they run for the exit.
"Why? So you can take it away from us? No way!" Ursula snapped.
"No, so you don't get crushed!"
Princess Zahrah suddenly tripped over as Terran, Max, and Zoe looked back.
"Princess!" Zoe shrieked.
"Get her, Ace!" Rex said as Ace picked her up. "You okay?"
The group and Genie finally made it out before the cave collapsed as Ace, Rex, and Zahrah came close before it did.
"That was close." He said before turning to Zahrah. "Are you all right?"
"I am. All thanks to you, Rex." She smiled, gratefully. "How can I ever repay you for saving me?"
Without warning, Princess Zahrah kissed Rex on his cheek as Zoe and Max yelped while Terran stared at them as Rex was blushing red.
"Oh! Wait, where's the Alpha Gang?" Max said.
"They didn't make it out in time!" Zoe said.
As Ace was turned back into a card and snapped him out of his trance, the 39 thieves has returned.
"Oh no, the 39 thieves are back!" Zahrah gasped as the others did.
"Quick, guys, we gotta hide somewhere." Rex said.
"This way!" Zahrah said, leading them to hide behind the cave.
As they hide, the 39 thieves arrived to see the cave has collapsed.
"The cave door is blocked."
Ursula held her hand out from the rubble, groaning.
"Hey, look! The old lady!" Max said.
"Why you!" She growled, "No one calls me old lady and gets away with it!"
Ursula lets out her anger while freeing herself and the Alpha Gang and Dr. Z.
"Who are you, invaders?"
"Wait a second. Where did you come from?" She asked.
"Zayid, the invaders have bags filled with our treasure!"
The Alpha Gang was terrified that the treasure was originally stolen by 39 thieves and now they're stealing their stolen loot.
"There is nothing that Zayid the thief hates more than getting robbed!" He pulls out his sword. "You shall pay for this!"
The thieves then lassoed them.
"Now, what have you done with the princess?" Zayid asked.
"What princess?" Ed questioned.
"He must mean that girl that was with the ankle-biters and punk when they were running for the door." Zander said.
"So Zahrah escaped." Zayid said, "This will anger Rasheed. To the palace!"
Zayid and the thieves headed back as they bring the Alpha Gang with them.
"Can't we take a taxi?" They complained.
As they left, Zahrah eavesdropped them as they left.
"Zayid knows Rasheed?" Zahrah wondered.
"Who's Rasheed?" Rex asked.
"Well, he's the sultan's prime minister."
"A minister? Why would a bunch of thieves be reporting back to someone like that?" Max said.
"Could Rasheed have had something to do with my capture?" Zahrah wondered.
"I'm no all-knowing genie, but it sounds fishy." Zoe said.
"I'm beginning to suspected that this Rasheed person was plotting behind the sultan's back without him knowing." Terran said.
"I have to reach the palace and let father know." Zahrah said, "I can't promise, but it may be that this Stone you're looking for is actually in the palace somewhere."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Rex said.
Back in the cave, Gabbro dug himself out in the rubble.
"Good thing my head is one of the densest substances in the universe." He said.
In the desert, the group is riding on Genie as they're heading to Zahrah's kingdom whilethey trudged through the sandstorm.
"I can hardly see." Zoe said, "We must be in the middle of some kind of sandstorm!"
Max rubbed his eyes. "We need to find shelter!"
"Princess Zahrah, how far to go until we get to your father's palace?" Rex asked.
"One more day's ride, I'm afraid." She said.
"Agh! We'll be buried in sand by then." Max exclaimed before seeing something in the sandstorm. "What's that thing?"
"A sand cyclone!"
