The day had started like any other for Laura. After leaving the dorms with plans to train in the academy's training room, she discovered it was already booked for another activity. Disappointed but not deterred, she decided to return and focus on breathing exercises and aura meditation instead.

As she approached the dorm's entrance, faint sounds of commotion drifted through the air, along with a voice from the third floor calling out dramatically:

"Mwa ha haaaa!"

Laura froze mid-step, her brows lifting in surprise. That voice—it was unmistakably Fie. Curious, Laura slipped inside and ascended the staircase to investigate.

When she reached the third floor, she was greeted by an unexpected sight: Fie and Millium running around, fully immersed in an elaborate game. Millium was dressed in a magical girl outfit, her wand held high, while Fie wore her Kitty Ninja Fie outfit.

"You'll never save your friends, Silver Rabbit," Fie declared, her voice mockingly ominous. "For I am Fie-lyne, Warrior of the Meowritter. I cannot be defeated by the likes of you!"

Laura bit her lip, barely suppressing laughter.

Millium, undeterred, pointed her wand with an exaggerated flourish. "I'll stop you…with the power of friendship and love! Silver Moon Beam!"

Fie gasped theatrically and leapt out of the way, dodging the imaginary attack with cat-like grace. She darted over the third-floor railing and bounded down to the main floor, landing with the smoothness of a predator on the hunt.

Laura, leaning against the railing, watched in silent amusement. But when Fie glanced up and spotted her, she froze mid-dash, her eyes going wide.

"Uh, so…what happened was…" Fie began, trailing off as she fumbled for an explanation.

Millium, still entirely in character, chimed in brightly, "I asked Fie to dress up in her cool outfit and play magical girls with me and she immediately said yes!"

"Millium!" Fie hissed.

Laura couldn't hold back a chuckle. "That's very nice. It looks like you're both having fun," she said warmly. "Please, pay me no mind."

Millium, ever exuberant, seized the moment to shout, "Silver Moon Beam!" again. Without missing a beat, Fie dodged the imaginary attack once more, her playful smirk returning as she leapt back into character.

Laura lingered for a moment longer, enjoying the lighthearted scene before quietly retreating to her room.

Later that evening, as she sat reading a book on her bed, the door creaked open. She looked up to see Fie slipping inside, her expression a mix of exhaustion and contentment. Without a word, Fie climbed onto the bed and curled up at the end, her arms wrapped loosely around her knees.

"I'm pooped," Fie murmured, closing her eyes.

Laura smiled softly and set her book aside. "It seems you had quite the adventure."

Fie cracked one eye open, giving Laura a lazy grin. "Silver Rabbit's relentless. But Fie-lyne never goes down without a fight."

Laura chuckled, reaching out to gently brush a stray strand of hair from Fie's face. "Rest now, my brave Warrior of the Meowritter. You've earned it."

Fie hummed in agreement, letting herself relax fully against the bed as Laura resumed her reading, the soft sound of Fie's breathing filling the room.
