"So we put him into prison only to get him out?" Surge asks, confused
"To make him look bad, force him out of prison so that even if he comes back, which I doubt. He'll look horrible in the eyes of the public. Nobody wants an escapee." Amy refurs and gives Surge a smile, which Surge returns.
"It should be ready now." Kit says coming from another sector in the ship that somehow he built in a few days. Amy ruffles his hair, which surprisingly Kit likes and laughs at. The three are ready to go.
"Alright, let's go." Amy commands and Kit goes to start up the ship
The ship flies high in the sky. Thankfully not hitting any planes or anything else. Instead Kit shoots any flying things out of the sky. Any flying thing, not only planes, but birds, flies if he can. With the excuse that the ship isn't stable enough. Which maybe it isn't, Amy doesn't care except for who gave this kid a gun?
"Kit what are you doing?" Amy asks concerned not only about the gun but also for Kit in general
"This is the best I could come up with okay?" Kit spits out.
Kit ends up shooting a plane out of the sky. It falls to the ground and breaks open the prison because of course it does. This however might be the best disaster. Amy smiles at the display and sees that as an open opportunity to let loose the prisoners and break in.
"Hit the brakes! Kit, we have an opening!" Amy exclaims and Kit goes to the over complex controls and drops the airship down slowly to the ground and onto the prison ground.
Meanwhile Sonic notices the hole and decides to stay put. Watching a bunch of other prisoners escape is funny in its own way. He enjoys this comedic time until an airship lands in front of where he lays. Now of course, this could be coincidental. Until he sees the figure of Surge and immediately hides under his bed. Scared a bit, why would she even be here? He hears someone walk up to the window and presumably look around for a second before saying anything or making any obvious sounds.
"He's not in here." A gruff voice says, presumably Surge's. Sonic recognizes the voice from when they first met, it honestly burns in his mind sometimes especially what she said.
"Well then let's look around for him, either he left which means our job is already done or he's somewhere around here." A more serious yet high pitched voice says, is that Amy? Whoever it is, they and Amy sound alike.
Doesn't matter as soon the three leave and Sonic continues to hide under his bed. Still a bit skittish, he now knows people are looking for him. Which is a lot more concerning than anything else. Going away from him, Amy, Surge and Kit go around destroying as much property and people as possible, mainly security equipment and guards. Leaving no sense of authority around. Perfect for the chaos to spread.
Sonic still hides under his bed, obviously fearing for his safety. Maybe he should call someone or do something? That would probably give away his position though to any possible enemies. The last thing he wants is to do that especially with that group going around. Probably looking to kill him. Guilt gets the better of him, he's a hero, after all so he goes out despite any deep fears that might come true. Going as fast as he can. Doing well at first, going through silent hallways and mass chaos. Moving as fast as he can to any sort of help. That's until he's caught by Surge, because of course nothing can go right for him anymore.
"Found him!" She yells "She's going to be so proud of me for this!" Surge says excitedly, confusing Sonic. She actually seems… happy? When did that happen? Who is Surge referring to? He gets an answer to that very soon.
"Good job." A new stoic voice says, over Sonic is a person covered with a mask, behind them is Kit. That's who.
"Let's get him out of here." The masked figure says. Again their voice sounds like Amy's. Surge forced him to move. Sonic doesn't try to struggle that much. Amongst the chaos, he is dragged to their ship and shoved on without ceremony. The ship flies up, and Sonic wonders how he got here and what's these three's end goals? He looks at the captain of the ship, the masked figure. The engineer, Kit and of course, Surge. The last one keeps looking over to him. Eventually the captain turns to him. Looks him over and leads Surge over. The captain whispers something to her, Surge looks back at her, confused.
"Are you sure?" Surge says
"Yes." The figure says, Sonic decides to lighten the mood
"Wow, no in-flight movies or popcorn? Man, talk about a low budget flight!" Sonic then proceeds to laugh at his own joke that's he made a lot more times than he would care to admit.
"That's why." The masked figure says, Surge immediately understands and proceeds to take Sonic, lift him up. Not struggling that much, suprisingly.
"What are you doing?" Sonic says panicked, Surge walks forward, Kit opens the door and then Surge throws him out. Sonic falls, for a while. Maybe the height will kill him? If he's dead he won't have to worry about all of this. He'll die, maybe innocent.
Sonic goes into snow. He probably broke something, but he doesn't care. He's in the middle of a bunch of snow. Maybe the shock from the fall and him being lost would kill him. So he starts running and running in the way of the prison. Passing through the trees and down the bank and onto other ground. Not stopping until he sees it in sight, then proceeding to faint once someone sees him. He definitely broke something.
Even though that could have gone better. Amy still thinks they did something. Nobody knows it's her still (as far as she knows) and she made sure everything in her power makes Sonic the culprit. People seem to be more confused than anything. Adding a layer of chaos to all of this. So they accomplished something at the very least. Even if it was something small. Defaming Sonic a bit and being able to control the narrative helps, along with all the confusion made. So this is definitely a step in the right direction.
