In Grimwood, Marcus was in his office planning gym classes for the next year. He was enjoying his peaceful days, now that the spider queen was gone. He only had to worry about classes. At that moment there was a knock on his office door.
-Come in.- Marcus said.
The one who knocked on the door was Miss Grimwood. She entered Marcus's office.
-I see you like your new office, Marcus.- Miss Grimwood said.
-I love it.- Marcus said.
-I came to bring you your mail. The girls say hi.- Miss Grimwood said.
The Grimwood girls were at their parents' house, enjoying their summer vacation. They had written letters to Marcus.

The second letter said: "Greetings from the forest. I can't wait to see you and the rest of the girls again. Signed Winnie." The second letter said: "Greetings from Egypt. In the mystery machine. The Mystery to Order gang was heading towards Grimwood. The road was dark. In the van, Shaggy and Scooby were hiding in a sheet.
-We'll be in Grimwood soon, boys.- Fred Jones said.
-That's what I'm afraid of.- Shaggy Rogers said.
-That place is dark.- Scooby Doo said.

Shaggy and Scooby thinking about it better, remembered that not everything was so bad. They had good times with the Grimwood girls. They were good girls. Sibella once saved them and Scrappy from being eaten by crocodiles. Remembering that, they got out from under the sheet.
-Well no. Not everything was so bad. Scooby and I had grown fond of the girls even though they were monsters.- Shaggy Rogers said.
-They were good girls.- Scooby Doo said.

Shaggy and Scooby weren't sure what the girls' reaction would be when they saw them, after their farewell.

-She fell into a volcano. Her and her henchman.- Shaggy Rogers answered.
-That was the end of the evil witch Revolta.- Scooby Doo said.

When they met the girls, they didn't have those powers. That was before Marcus, the threat of the possessed, and the spider queen.

They continued to advance in the mystery machine towards Grimwood. After a good while driving they had already reached their destination. They parked the van near the school and got out to see it.
-Is this Grimwood?.- Daphne Blake asked.
-Do they really teach here?.- Velma Dinkley asked.
-I must be, it looks like a school for monsters to me.- Fred Jones said.
Fred, Daphne and Velma looked at Grimwood School. It looked like one of the places where they solved their mysteries. Shaggy and Scooby had memories of that place.

-Well, what are we waiting for? Let's ring the bell.- Fred Jones said.
-Yeah, I want to meet those supposed students who claim to be monsters.- Velma Dinkley said.
Fred, Daphne and Velma walked towards the entrance but Shaggy and Scooby didn't move from where they were standing.
-They're not coming?.- Velma Dinkley asked.
-We need time.- Scooby Doo answered.
-We're not ready to meet the girls again yet.- Shaggy Rogers said.
Shaggy and Scooby were nervous about meeting their former students again, after their escape.
Inside Grimwood, Matches was sleeping. He wakes up when he feels a noise. He gets up and starts to smell something, something familiar. Marcus, who was passing by with some papers in his hand, saw him.
-Matches, what's wrong?.- Marcus asked.
Matches kept sniffing, he had already remembered who that smell belongs to. He ran outside to look for them.
-Hey, where are you going?.- Marcus asked.
Marcus left the papers on the table and followed Matches.
They had left the entrance close by. Matches was already outside. He saw that there were three people he didn't know but he did know the two who were behind them. Fred, Daphne and Velma didn't know what Matches was but Shaggy and Scooby knew who the little dragon was.
-Isn't that...?.- Shaggy Rogers couldn't finish the sentence.
Matches ran towards Shaggy and Scooby. He jumped on top of Shaggy, licking him. He was happy to see them despite everything.
- Hehe. I'm glad to see you again too.- Shaggy Rogers said.

-What is that thing?.- Daphne Blake asked.

Shaggy and Scooby were looking at Marcus.
-He was here before, Scooby?.- Shaggy Rogers asked.
-No, it must be new.- Scooby Doo replied.
Marcus saw that Matches was with a boy and a dog.
-Oh Matches, there you were. Who are you with?.- Marcus asked.
Marcus approached Shaggy and Scooby.
-Who are you?.- Shaggy Rogers asked.
-My name is Marcus. I'm the gym teacher at this school.- Marcus replied.
-Are you the new gym teacher? Geez, we've already been replaced Scooby.- Shaggy Rogers said.
-We've been replaced, Shaggy.- Scooby Doo said.
Marcus, hearing their names, remembered his predecessors. The ones his students sometimes talked about.

Velma was still not convinced that this was a school for monsters.

-We came to find the girls.- Shaggy Rogers answered.

-Someone who calls himself the Master of Monsters attacked Crystal Cave with an army of monsters.- Miss Grimwood said.

Marcus and the girls had gotten rid of all the possessed. So, where did those monsters that Shaggy mentioned come from, and who was this supposed master of the monsters?.

The Mystery to Order gang was speechless. Had all that happened and they didn't even realize that the world was in danger recently? Velma didn't understand anything Marcus said. She fell to her knees on the ground.
-I give up. I don't understand anything. I just don't get it.- Velma Dinkley said.
-I would love for us to have more time for you to understand but Crystal Cave needs us.- Shaggy Rogers said.
-We need the girls.- Scooby Doo said.
-They went home for summer vacation. I'll call them to come.- Marcus said.

Back in Grimwood. Marcus had already finished making his calls.

Miss Grimwood said goodbye to her students. Marcus headed to the Mystery Machine.
-I'm calling for it.- Marcus said.
Marcus climbed into the front seat. Fred started the engine.
-Crystal Cave is holding on. Mystery to the Order is already on its way.- Fred Jones said.
-With help from the Grimwood Ghoul Squad.- Ghost said.
-No one will stop us.- Winnie said.
-The Monster Master won't know what hit him.- Marcus said.
