In the streets of Crystal Cave two young people, a boy and a girl, were being chased by a group of monsters. The monsters cornered them, the boy and the girl hugged each other in fear. At that moment a voice was heard.
-TRANSFORMATION!.- Amelia shouted.
A light of energy surrounded her body turning her into her heroine form. The monsters turned to see what that light was, Amelia takes out her scythe and begins to fight with the monsters. The boy and the girl saw how that girl fought with the monsters. Amelia defeated them all and then looked at the couple.
-Are you okay?.- Amelia asked.
The couple realized that she was not human and ran away screaming. Amelia watched as they ran away.
-You're welcome!.- Amelia said.
Amelia returned to her normal form. She saved them and they didn't even thank her, she felt a little offended. At that moment Fred and Daphne approach her.
-Don't take it the wrong way. They just don't know you.- Daphne Blake said.
-It's the third one to run away. At this rate we won't be able to ask anyone.- Fred Jones said.
Daphne elbows Fred for pretending that Amelia is to blame.
-Well, I'm sorry people are scared of me.- Amelia said.
-No, what I meant was that... Let's keep looking for clues.- Fred Jones said.
The three of them were looking for more people in an alley so they wouldn't be seen by the monsters. Fred peeked out to see if everything was clear.
-Well, there are no Moors on the coast. Let's continue.- Fred Jones said.
They continued walking down the alley. Daphne kept looking at Amelia.
-What?.- Amelia asked.
-Oh, I'm sorry. It's just so weird working next to a... eh... - Daphne Blake didn't finish her sentence.
- A monster.- Amelia said.
- Yes, exactly. Well... we usually always unmask or fight them. We never receive help from them.- Daphne Blake said.
- Have you ever met a good monster?.- Amelia asked.
- Apart from you and your friends. No.- Daphne Blake answered.
- I see.- Amelia said.
- Shaggy and Scooby have had better luck. They were able to meet your friends, I wish we could have met monsters like them.- Daphne Blake said.
- The only human I've ever met was Marcus.- Amelia said.
- Your teacher?.- Daphne Blake asked.
- Yes. Before I met him I spent all my days in a castle. Thanks to meeting Marcus I was able to enter Grimwood.- Amelia said.
- Did you spend all your time in a castle? It must have been a little lonely?.- Daphne Blake asked.
- It wasn't that lonely. I had my dad with me.- Amelia answered.
- And your mom?.- Daphne Blake asked.
Amelia didn't answer that question. It was a little painful for her to talk about her mother, she looked away, Daphne noticed Amelia's expression.
- Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to...- Daphne Blake couldn't finish the sentence.
- Girls! Come see this.- Fred Jones called.
The girls approached where Fred was leaning.
- Look at that.- Fred Jones said.
Fred pointed to a group of people who were armed and collecting food in bags. When they finished collecting they began to go somewhere else.
- Let's follow them. Maybe they'll lead us to more people.- Fred Jones said.
The three began to sneak after that group. They followed them for a while, then they saw that they had gone behind an alley and followed them there. When they entered that alley, the group was no longer there.
-What the heck? They're gone.- Fred Jones said.
-They disappeared. Where could they have gone?.- Daphne Blake asked.
-Look, over there.- Amelia said.
Amelia pointed to a manhole.
-Maybe they went over there.- Amelia said.
-Let's check it out.- Fred Jones said.
Fred tried to take off the manhole cover but it was too heavy for him. Amelia used her magic to create a bone bar.
-Here, use this.- Amelia said.
-Oh, thanks.- Fred Jones said.
Fred used the bar that Amelia gave him to open the manhole cover. When she opened it the three of them went inside, it was too dark to see.
-I don't see anything.- Amelia said.
Fred and Daphne turned on the flashlights on their phones. Now they could see.
-Amazing. How did they do that?.- Amelia asked.
-We just turned on the flashlights on our cell phones.- Daphne Blake answered.
-Can cell phones do that? I thought they were only good for making calls.- Amelia said.
-No, they are good for many things. They are also good for finding the place you like the most.- Fred Jones said.
-Oh! Can you locate any place with your cell phone? Human technology is scary.- Amelia said
-Let's continue.- Fred Jones said.
The three of them advanced through the sewer looking for the group.
-When we find them let me and Daphne talk.- Fred Jones said.
-Why? Because I'm a monster?.- Amelia asked.
-Don't take it the wrong way, Amelia. We just want to let them know that you're friendly before we introduce yourself.- Daphne Blake answered.
-Okay.- Amelia said.
They continued moving forward until they reached a larger space. They heard movements around them.
-What was that?.- Fred Jones asked.
Fred saw a shadow move.
-I hope they're not monsters.- Daphne Blake said.
Suddenly a lot of shadows appeared around them. Fred and Daphne got scared, Amelia stood in front of them to protect them.
-Stay behind me. I'll protect you.- Amelia said.
Amelia got into a guard position.
-Fred?.- A person asked.
When Fred and Daphne aimed their flashlights to get a better look at them, they saw that they were some citizens of Crystal Cave. Among them were their parents.
-Mom? Dad?.- Fred Jones asked.
-Fred. Sweetheart.- Judy Reeves said.
-We're glad to see that you're okay.- Brad Chiles said.
Daphne saw that her parents were entering the crowd.
-Mom. Dad.- Daphne Blake said.
Daphne went to give them a hug.
-I'm glad to know that you're okay.- Daphne Blake said.
-Oh, daughter, this seems like a nightmare.- Nan Blake said.
-I know, those monsters are all over Crystal Cave.- Daphne Blake said.
-No. I mean that we're inside a sewer. (She covers her nose) The smell is horrible.- Nan Blake said.
-What is all this?.- Fred Jones asked.
-I'll answer that question.- A voice said.
From the crowd came Sheriff Bronson Stone.
-Sheriff Stone.- Fred Jones said.
-What you see here is the resistance of Crystal Cave. Led by me, Sheriff Bronson Stone.- Sheriff Bronson Stone said.
-We are the only ones who were not captured by those monsters.- Janet Nettles said.
-But that will end. We will rise and take back our town.- Sheriff Bronson Stone said.
-Couldn't you have chosen a better hiding place than a sewer?.- Barty Blake asked.
-Don't you know that to fool your enemy you must hide in the place you least expect them to find you?.- Sheriff Bronson Stone asked.
Fred's father looked at Amelia.
-Who is your friend, Fred?.- Brad Chiles asked.
-It's just Amelia.- Fred answered.
-Nice to meet you sir.- Amelia said.
-You look a little strange.- Brad Chiles said.
-It's because I'm a monster.- Amelia said.
The people of Crystal Cave fell silent upon hearing that.
-A monster?.- Nan Blake asked.
The people began to get scared.
-Calm down mom, Amelia is on our side.- Daphne Blake said.
Sheriff Bronson Stone approached them.
-Did you bring a monster to our hideout? I could tell the rest.- Sheriff Bronson Stone said.
-Don't worry sheriff. Amelia is good.- Fred Jones said.
-A monster that is good? Ha!, now that is funny. They only growl, scare, kidnap and say boo. None of them are good.- Sheriff Bronson Stone said.
Amelia was offended by what the sheriff said and placed her hands on her hips.
-I must say that your comment is offensive. Not all monsters are like that.- Amelia said.
-No? And what makes you different from the rest?.- Sheriff Bronson Stone asked.
-I'm a member of the Grimwood Ghoul Squad. My friends and I save people.- Amelia answered.
Velma's mother recognized that name.
-The Grimwood Ghoul Squad? I know that name, I follow them on social media. It's a group of monster heroines who saved a city from an army of humanoid spiders. Are you one of them?.- Angie Dinkley asked.
-Yes ma'am.- Amelia answered.
-Monsters who are heroes? Now I've seen it all.- Sheriff Bronson Stone said.
-Give them a chance. You'll see that if you get to know her, you'll come to like her.
Amelia greeted the people.
-She, her friends, and her teacher came to help us.- Daphne Blake said.
-The Grimwood Ghoul Squad is here. Hey, I need to take a picture with them.- Angie Dinkley said.

The sheriff pointed his finger at Amelia, she looked away and crossed her arms. She didn't like the sheriff very much.
-We need a plan to take back Crystal Cave.- Fred Jones said.
-Follow us. We have everything we need somewhere else.- Mr. Jones said.
-Good. Thanks Mayor Dad.- Fred Jones said.
-Why do you keep calling me that?.- Mr. Jones asked.
-Let's go. I'll show you how to make a trap.- Fred Jones said.
Fred followed the people to their hiding place.
-Hey, he's going to start with his traps.- Brad Chiles said.
-That's how young people are, honey.- Judy Reeves said.
Brad and Judy went with their son. Amelia also went with them, Daphne was going to go but was stopped by Velma's dad and Daphne's mom.
-Excuse me honey. Do you know where my son is?.- Paula Rogers asked.
-Why isn't Velma with you?.- Dale Dinkley asked.
-They're looking for clues, but don't worry, they have someone looking after them.- Daphne Blake replied.
Mrs Rogers and Mr Dinkley calmed down upon hearing that, and went with the others.
-I hope Shaggy and Scooby are okay.- Daphne Blake said.
Elsewhere, the 5 Grimwood girls were fighting a group of monsters while transformed.
Sibella was flying in the air, fighting with her sword against some vampires, one by one they were falling because of her sword, then she spun in circles very quickly, throwing several cutting blasts, defeating all the vampires, they fell to the ground and she landed on the floor.
-They are not like the vampires I know.- Sibella said.
Winnie was fighting with a group of werewolves. She moved agilely, while defeating them one by one. She howls, looks at them and smiles. She launches herself towards them and begins to cut them with her claws, defeating them all.
-And you call yourselves werewolves?.- Winnie asked.
Tanis was fighting against a group of mummies. The mummies surrounded her and began to pile up on her, but with her powers she creates a sand tornado to get them off of her. Then, she makes some boxing gloves with her bandages and begins to hit the mummies, knocking them down one by one until they all fell.
-Aren't you ashamed to attack a little girl?.- Tanis asked.
Elsa was fighting against a group of zombies, sending them flying one by one with her huge gauntlets. The zombies began to surround her, she charges her electric energy in her gauntlet and hits the ground, generating an electric wave that knocks down all the zombies.
-That was it? The possessed put up more of a fight than you.- Elsa said.
Ghost was fighting against a group of ghosts. The ghosts had her surrounded but she began to spin in circles, as if she were doing ballet, while using her ice powers to freeze them. All the ghosts were frozen.
-Okay, that's all. You can come out now, guys!.- Ghost warned.
Shaggy and Scooby come out from inside a dumpster where they were hiding.
-There's no danger anymore?.- Shaggy Rogers asked.
-No. You can come out now.- Sibella answered.
Shaggy and Scooby get off the dumpster, and take off the trash that was on top of them.
-Thanks. I don't know what we would do without you.- Shaggy Rogers said.
-It's a relief to have you.- Scooby Doo said.
-Besides hiding, could you find out anything?.- Winnie asked.
-Of course you did. While we were at the dumpster, Scooby and I found out that some people throw away half-eaten food.- Shaggy Rogers answered.
-Can you believe it?.- Scooby Doo asked.
-About the master of the monsters!.- Winnie said.
-Aaaaah that. Scooby and I still couldn't find out anything.- Shaggy Rogers said.
-Not a clue.- Scooby Doo said.
-Aaaaah! Why didn't I go with Professor Marcus instead!?.- Winnie wondered.
-Don't be like that, Winnie. I have an idea, Shaggy and Scooby can help us interrogate the monsters we defeated.- Sibella said.
- Good idea. You will be the bad cops who get the answers from them and we will be the good cops who just watch.- Shaggy Rogers said.
- Good cops.- Scooby Doo said.
Shaggy and Scooby were afraid to get close to the monsters, Winnie was less and less happy with their company. Elsa grabbed a zombie to interrogate him.
- Let's see zombie, start talking. Who are you and where do you come from?.- Elsa asked.
The zombie thought it would be wise not to make Elsa angry.
- Okay, okay, I'll tell you. My name is agent 29.- Agent 29 answered.
-That's a number, not a name.- Tanis said.
-Don't play with me!.- Elsa said.
-I swear, I'm not playing. We call each other by numbers.- Agent 29 said.
-Do you call each other by numbers? Doesn't that sound familiar to you, Scooby?.- Shaggy Rogers asked.
-I don't know, maybe. It's like when you watch a bad TV show and you just want to forget you watched it.- Scooby Doo answered.
Agent 29 sees Scooby and Shaggy, and points at them.
-You guys! You're the reason we're here!.- Agent 29 said.
-Us?.- Shaggy Rogers asked.
-What business do you have with my friends?.- Sibella asked.
-Speak!.- Elsa said.
-The Master of the Monsters created us to get revenge on the people who ruined his evil plans. Those are the two over there.- Agent 29 said.
Shaggy and Scooby didn't know what he was talking about.
-That's why we attacked this place, because the master knew it was his home. He's going to destroy everything you love.- Agent 29 said.
-But what did we do to him?.- Shaggy Rogers asked.
-It must be a misunderstanding.- Scooby Doo said.
-It's not a misunderstanding. I was there when I was human, I saw how they destroyed everything my master built.- Agent 29 said.
-Did you just say "When I was human"?.- Ghost asked.
-Were you humans before?.- Tanis asked.
-Answer! Who is the Master of the monsters!?.- Winnie asked.
-Guess.- Agent 29 answered.
-Don't be playing with us. If you know what's good for you, you won't tell.- Elsa said.
-I won't betray my master. Find out for yourself, if you can.- Agent 29 said.
Agent 29 bites a chip he had in his mouth, gets electrocuted and falls unconscious.
-Do you have any idea what I was talking about?.- Elsa asked.
-No. We've never met someone called the Monster Master.- Shaggy Rogers answered.
-Never.- Scooby Doo said.
-Well then we'll have to find out more. Find out if there's still any conscious ones left to question, girls.- Elsa said.
-Okay, Elsa.- Ghost said.
The girls started checking if there was any conscious monster left from those they defeated. Sibella approached Shaggy and Scooby.
-Don't worry. I don't know what the Monster Master has against you but we'll make sure to protect you.- Sibella said.
-Gosh. Thanks Sibella.- Shaggy Rogers said.
-Yeah, thanks.- Scooby Doo said.
Sibella went to look for it with the rest of the girls.
-You know Scooby, being in Grimwood could have been a scary experience but it's good to have the girls.- Scooby Doo said.
-You said it, Shaggy.- Scooby Doo said.
-What did you say?.- Winnie asked.
Shaggy and Scooby didn't realize that Winnie was listening to them.
-Winnie.- Scooby Doo said.
-Repeat what you just said!.- Winnie said.
The rest of the girls heard a commotion and went to see what was happening.
-What's wrong?.- Sibella asked.
-I was just telling Scooby that I'm glad to have you guys.- Shaggy Rogers replied.
-Yes.- Scooby Doo said.
-You also said that being in Grimwood was a scary experience.- Winnie said.
-Well...yes.- Shaggy Rogers said.
Sibella, Tanis, Elsa and Phantom were surprised to hear that.
-Being in Grimwood was a scary experience for you?.- Tanis asked.
-Well...yes, with all the monsters, the scary things, the floating hand.- Shaggy Rogers answered.
-The evil witch.- Scooby Doo said.
-If I had read the contract better I...- Shaggy Rogers did not finish the sentence.
Before finishing the sentence, he noticed the expression on the girls' faces. They had not realized how the two of them saw them.
-That's not what I meant. I...- Shaggy Rogers could not finish the sentence.
-When you refer to "The monsters", do you mean us?.- Elsa asked.

Shaggy and Scooby hadn't thought about that, although they had grown fond of the girls, Grimwood was a place they never wanted to go back to.
-No, I don't think so.- Shaggy Rogers answered.
-I'm sorry, girls.- Scooby Doo said.
The girls were saddened to hear that, their former teachers weren't what they always thought they were. They turned their backs on them so they wouldn't see them.
-Don't take it the wrong way, it's just that Scooby and I are scaredy-cats.- Said Shaggy Rogers.
-Scary chickens.- Said Scooby Doo.
Scooby started to act like a chicken but the girls didn't pay attention to them. They remained silent.
-Girls, say something.- Said Shaggy Rogers.
-Do you want us to say something? Well, we'll say it! It breaks our hearts to know that you never wanted to see us again.- Said Ghost.
-Do you only see us as monsters? Scary things? Did this have to happen for you to return to Grimwood?.- Asked Elsa.
-I knew it. I knew that you were never really our friends.- Said Winnie.
-We love you very much but it seems that you don't feel the same.- Said Sibella.
Tanis starts to cry.
-Shaggy, Scooby. Are you that scared of me?.- Asked Tanis.
Shaggy and Scooby felt bad, they didn't want the girls to believe that they hated them. They were just scared of their own shadows.
-No, wait girls! We didn't want to...- Shaggy Rogers couldn't finish the sentence.
At that moment Fred and Daphne arrived with the resistance.
-What are you guys up to?- Fred Jones said.
-We brought reinforcements.- Daphne Blake said.
Shaggy, Scooby and the girls saw all the crowd that accompanied them.
-Where did they all come from?.- Shaggy Rogers asked.
Shaggy's mother and father see that he is okay, and they go to hug their son.
-Son, I'm so glad you're okay.- Paula Rogers said.
-When your friends said that you and Scooby went to find the Master of the Monsters we got worried.- Colton Rogers said.
-Mom. Dad. They're safe.- Shaggy Rogers said.
Shaggy was glad to see his parents okay.
-I'm okay too.- Scooby Doo said.
-So... we're glad to see you too.- Paula Rogers said.
Amelia, Fred and Daphne saw that the girls looked sad, and that Tanis was crying. Amelia went with her to see what was wrong.
-Tanis, are you okay? Why are you crying?.- Amelia asked.
Tanis stopped crying and wiped his tears.
-Nothing. It's nothing.- Tanis answered.
-But you had tears in your eyes. Is everything okay?.- Fred Jones asked.
-We're worried about them.- Daphne Blake said.
The girls didn't answer. Amelia looked angrily at Shaggy and Scooby.
-What did they do to them!?.- Amelia asked.
Shaggy and Scooby didn't dare to answer. Sibella put her hand on Amelia's shoulder.
-It's nothing, leave it.- Sibella said.
Amelia didn't ask any more but she was still angry. The citizens of Crystal Cave looked at the rest of the Grimwood girls.
-So these are the famous heroines that will help us save our town.- Sheriff Bronson Stone said.
-They look very small.- Dale Dinkley said.
-Will you help us save our town?.- Janet Nettles asked.
The girls became serious, it was not time to be sad. No matter their feelings, these people needed them.
-That's right citizens of Crystal Cave! We are the Grimwood Ghoul Squad and we came to help you get your town back!.- Sibella said.
-Yes, that's why we came.- Winnie said.
Winnie looked at Shaggy and Scooby.
-With our powers we will defeat the Master of the monsters.- Tanis said.
-We already defeated some of his army. They are not that big a deal.- Elsa said.
The crowd looked at the monsters lying on the floor and then cheered for the Grimwood girls; except Sheriff Bronson who still had his doubts.
-We already know where the Monster Master is.- Fred Jones said.
-The resistance was able to locate his location.- Daphne Blake said.
Sheriff Bronson Stone grabbed a bar and lifted it up high.
-The time has come people, to take back what is ours! Freedom!.- Sheriff Bronson Stone said.
-Freedom!.- The crowd said.
Everyone began to march to the Monster Master's hideout.
-Let's finish this once and for all and go home.- Winnie said.
-Yes, I don't want my presence to bother some people.- Sibella said.
Shaggy and Scooby noticed that the girls were upset with them.
Everyone was heading towards facing the Monster Master. Will they manage to defeat him? Will Shaggy and Scooby be able to fix their relationship with the girls? We'll have to see what happens.
