NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!

~[Flashback: 18-Months Ago]~

"Alien Damaged ship, can you hear me in there?" An Alien Green Lantern says while floating around near a planet placed in Frontier Lantern Space as he flies over to what seems to be a damaged alien spaceship floating around.

Floating before us is a 5'8-feet-tall, 350-year-old Male Twi-Tek with a pair of pupilless black eyes, a bald head, no ears, a small stumpy nose, a sharp chin, White Skin, a tall slim build, and he was currently wearing his Green Lantern Uniform, which consisted of a skintight black supersuit with green shoulder pads, a green torso with the Green Lantern Symbol planted on his chest, a pair of forearm-length white gloves, black arms/armpits/legs, and a pair of thigh-high green boots as he also wears the Green Lantern Power Ring on his right arm. His name is M'Ten, a member of the Green Lantern Corps as he is stationed in Frontier Space, the edge of Guardian Space.

"There's no cause for alarm. I am M'Ten of the Green Lantern Corps." M'Ten says while using his Green Lantern Power Ring to create a giant bubble will-powered construct around the spaceship to provide air for the occupant inside as he then flies down to grab the visor and tries to rip it off the spaceship, but fails as the Green Lantern huffed. "Looks like I just have to cut you out, friend." M'Ten says while raising his Green Lantern Power Ring as he fires a big beam of green energy that zapped off the visor from the spaceship and flew closer, only to get blasted by two big beams of rage-powered red energy as two figures flew out of the spaceship with menacing glares on their faces.

Floating before him is a 5'10-feet-tall, 24-year-old Male Volkregian with a pair of blue eyes that have thick black lines around them, short spiky white hair, thick light gray eyebrows, a small nose, a sharp chin with thin black lines lining his cheeks and chin, Bluish-Gray Skin, a tall slim athletic build, and was currently wearing his Red Lantern Supersuit, which consists of him wearing a dark red helmet with two horns planted on the top, a long-sleeved skintight black supersuit with a red collar, spiked dark red shoulder pads, a dark red torso as he has the Red Lantern Corps Symbol planted on his chest, a pair of arm-length dark red gloves, long black pants, and a pair of thigh-high red combat boots as he also wears the Red Lantern Power Ring on his right hand. His name is Razer, a member of the Red Lantern Corps and Ma'rkus's Partner.

Floating before him is a 5'2-feet-tall, 12-year-old (Mentally)/44-year-old (Physically) Male Martian as he was transformed into a more humanoid form, which consists of him having a pair of blue eyes, shoulder-length spiky purple hair, thin purple eyebrows, a small nose, a sharp chin, Green Skin, a muscularly slim build, and was currently wearing his Red Lantern Supersuit, which consists of him wearing a dark red spiky helmet, a long-sleeved skintight black supersuit with a red collar, spiked dark red shoulder pads, a dark red torso as he has the Red Lantern Corps Symbol planted on his chest, a pair of arm-length dark red gloves, black sides, long black pants with red sides, and a pair of red combat boots as he also wears the Red Lantern Power Ring on his right hand. His name is Ma'rkus M'orzz AKA Red Martian, J'onn J'onzz's Nephew, and Miss Martian's Cousin.

"Wrong. We are not your friends," Red Martian says with a scowl on his face as he raises his arms and uses his telekinesis to latch onto a shocked M'Ten to keep him floating in place.

"We are rage! We are vengeance! We are death!" Razer screamed while throwing out a big wave of rage-powered red energy wave that knocked back M'Ten, who was able to barely protect himself by breaking out of Ma'rkus's hold and creating a will-powered shield to protect himself as Red Martian grew out his arms while creating a pair of brass knuckle rage-powered gauntlet constructs as he grabbed the Green Lantern, who spawned out a bunch of will-powered green energy spikes that was able to help him break out of his hold as he then raised his glowing Green Lantern Power Ring to create a big will-powered green box that trapped the Red Lanterns inside, only for Razer to create a big wave of rage-powered red energy that easily broke out of the will-powered energy green construct as M'Ten was then surprised when another Red Lantern appeared behind him and spewed out a big wave of red rage-powered plasma that collided against the Green Lantern, who tried to protect himself by creating a big will-powered green energy drill, only to fail as his construct broke apart and was sent flying back while growing unconscious as the Red Lantern then created a bunch of rage-powered red energy chains that latched onto the Green Lantern's arms to restrain him in place.

Floating before him is a 4'5-feet-tall, 149-year-old Male Noc'sagian as he resembled a large head in the shape of a sphere with a pair of big pupilless white eyes, no hair/eyebrows/ears/chin, a large nose, a huge mouth with a row of sharp white teeth, a pair of four-fingered small arms attached to the sides of his head, Greyish-Brown Skin, a pair of two-toed small legs attached to the ends of his head, and was currently wearing his Red Lantern Supersuit, which consists of him wearing a sphere-shaped skintight dark red/black jumpsuit with the Red Lantern Corps Symbol planted on the top of his head as well as two pairs of dark red gloves and boots as he wears the Red Lantern Power Ring on his right hand. His name is Zilius Zox, the right-hand of Atrocitus as he carries out his supreme leader's commands with zeal and loyalty to the Red Lantern Cause.

"What are you doing, Zox?"

"Don't like it? Feel free to complain to Atrocitus." Zox says with a glare while brushing past Razer and Red Martian as they glared at him. "Relax, kids. Our master's plan includes ample kills. Enough even for you two."

"At this rate, our task will never end. If we eliminate this one, his Green Lantern Power Ring will simply seek out a replacement Green Lantern." Razer says as Zox grins evilly.

"Then we get to kill that one too."

"So we just keep killing a bunch of Green Lanterns for all eternity? Got it." Red Martian says sarcastically as Zox ignores him and quickly creates a rage-powered red energy construct of a sword and proceeds to pierce it through M'Ten's body, causing him to scream in pain and agony, especially when red plasma rage-powered flames begin covering his body, killing him slowly and as painfully as possible as, eventually, the Red Lanterns watched on as the Dead M'Ten's Green Lantern Power Ring separated from his corpse and flew off into space at high speeds to head towards Planet Oa at incredibly high speeds.

"Mua, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!" Zox laughed evilly while Razer remained stoic as Red Martian had a small frown on his face.

~[Present Time]~

"Whoo-hoo! Yes!" A Man cheered while around the Coast City Desert on Planet Earth at high speeds and flew around in a prototype jet as we then cue over to the Ferris Aircraft Industries and we zoom inside to see a woman and a pre-teen girl monitoring the flight by radio as they rolled their eyes playfully with knowing looks on their faces.

Flying before us is a 6'1-feet-tall, 32-year-old Man with brown eyes, short light brown hair, a small nose, a sharp chin, Caucasian Skin, a tall athletic yet slim build, and his outfit consists of a long-sleeved high-collared greyish test pilot suit with a zipper running up from his chest to his neck, and a pair of ankle-length brown boots as he also wears the Green Lantern Power Ring on his right hand and it was currently transformed to resemble a silver ring to disguise itself in his civilian form. His name is Hal Jordan AKA Green Lantern, Maria's Father, the Guardian of Space Sector 2814 of the Green Lantern Corps, and a Founding Member of the Justice League as he's usually stationed at Coast City.

Standing before us is a 5-feet-tall, 13-year-old Pre-Teen Girl with brown eyes, long curly light brown hair that reaches down to her back, a small nose, Caucasian Skin, a slender figure, and her outfit consists of a long-sleeved opened dark blue hoodie with a white tank top underneath, a brown belt with a golden belt buckle, a pink skirt, and a pair of white sneakers. Her name is Maria Jordan, Hal Jordan's Daughter.

Standing before us is a 5'6-feet-tall, 33-year-old Woman with a pair of blue eyes, shoulder-length luscious and wavy dark brown hair, thin dark brown eyebrows, a small nose, a sharp chin, G-Cup Breasts, Caucasian Skin, a short yet slender and voluptuous build, a heart-shaped thick ass, and her outfit consists of a long-sleeved high-collared gray sweater with a long-sleeved red blouse underneath, a gray skirt, and a pair of black high heel shoes. Her name is Carol Ferris, the CEO of Ferris Aircraft in Coast City, and is entangled in a romantic relationship with her co-worker, Hal Jordan.

"Let's keep the commentary to vehicle specific, shall we, Jordan?"

"I was, boss," Hal says with a grin as he hears his visiting Daughter scoff and rolls her eyes.

"Oh, yes, Dad was just expressing his professional opinion of the prototype's acceleration by screaming out like an excited schoolboy."

"Hey, little miss, when I brought you out of school for Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day, I didn't expect so much sass from you," Hal says with an amused laugh as he hears Carol sigh in bemusement through the radio.

"Someone at the FAA is going to read this transcript, Hal, so words might help."

"Of course, Carol. My apologies. Plane go fast. Very fast. Plane good."

"...Miss Ferris, tell me honestly, did you only hire my Dad because you think he is hot?" Maria asked with a teasing tone as Carol laughed, but then both girls yelped in surprise as a big earthquake occurred and nearly knocked both girls to the ground.

"Maria? Carol? Are you both alright?" Hal asked worriedly as he heard both girls yelped in surprise and pain.

"Yeah, we're getting one of our famous Coast City rumblers," Carol says while reaching over to grab Maria and pull her under the table as she made sure to cover her as best as the CEO of Ferris Aircraft could. "Don't worry, I'm looking after Maria, so she will be safe. Just concentrate on flying that billion dollar jet." Carol ordered sharply as Hal sighed heavily but nodded, only to flinch worriedly at the sight of a nearby bridge, which was close to collapsing due to the earthquake damaging it as, unfortunately, a train filled with hundreds of passengers was heading straight towards it.

"Uh-oh," Hal says with a serious glare on his face before reaching over to press a button on the dashboard to activate the Auto Pilot Function before opening up the visor as he flew out of it and glanced down at his Disguised Green Lantern Power Ring before it began glowing green and a wave of green will-powered energy washed over his whole body as a flash of green light occurred, and once it died down, we see Hal Jordan wearing his Green Lantern Uniform, which consisted of a small dark green domino mask that covered his eyes, a skintight black supersuit with green shoulder pads, a green torso with the Green Lantern Symbol planted on his chest, a pair of forearm-length white gloves, black arms/armpits/legs, and a pair of green boots as he also wears the Green Lantern Power Ring on his right arm.

"Welp, it looks like it's time for me to catch the train." Green Lantern says while flying past the speeding train as he raises his glowing Green Lantern Power Ring and swiftly creates a huge line of will-powered train tracks across the damaged bridge, allowing the train to go past it as Hal sighs in relief but then flinches in surprise when the prototype jet flew over to slam itself into a mountain, blowing it up into a billion pieces as he sweatdropped a bit. "...Oh...crapbaskets..." Green Lantern says with a groan as we then fast forward to an hour later, and we cue back to the girls as we see an angry Carol on the phone with someone as Maria waits around patiently.

"Let's worry about liability later, shall we?! And concentrate on the fact that we have a downed pilot!"

"Sounds like you missed me?" Hal says with a smug smirk while appearing in the doorway as he is dressed in his civilian outfit.

"Hal!/Daddy!" Carol and Maria cheered happily while rushing over to hug Hal as he hugged them back.

"Oh thank-I thought you were dead!"

"I told you that Daddy won't be dead," Maria says with a smug tone as she then glances up at her Father. "What happened?"

"I'm fine, I'm fine. When the shockwave from that shaker hit, it locked my instruments. There was nothing I could do, I had to eject, and-Ow!" Hal says before yelping in pain as an angry Carol delivers a mighty slap across his face.

"That bridge came down an hour ago, and you let your boss and your own Daughter think you were dead all this time?!"

"Well, I landed in the desert, I had to hike to the freeway." Hal lied as what really happened was that Batman had contacted him and informed him that Captain Marvel needed his help against his enemy Dr. Sivana in Fawcett City as only he and the Flash were able to help out since they were the closest to head towards Fawcett City.

"Typical," Carol says with an annoyed huff as Maria turns to Hal with a sly smirk on her face.

"Miss Ferris was so worried about you."

"As if, Kid. Your Daddy is replaceable. That billion-dollar fighter jet wasn't." Carol lied as a sympathetic Hal walked closer to her.

"I'm sorry about what happened to the plane Carol, but you weren't the only one who was worried. When I saw how big that quake was, well I may be replaceable, you two are not."

"...Hal...I've told you a dozen times why this will never work." Carol says as Hal leans forward and wraps his arms around her body with a sultry look on his face.

"Tell me again. Over dinner."

"Uh, kid still here. Don't want to see their Father ask a girl out." A disgusted Maria says as the lovebirds separate from each other and blush a bit before Hal's Disguised Green Lantern Ring flashes green as he winces.

"Errr, sorry, but I have to take Maria back home, so how about I pick you up after work?" Hal said to Carol with a wink as she blushed, but nodded as they left the room and closed the door behind them as Maria glanced up at him knowingly.

"Let me guess, Hero Work?"

"Yep, the Guardians are telling me to go to Planet Oa immediately," Hal says as Maria perks up and gains starry eyes.

"Ooh, can I come with you?"

"No, sweetie, this is serious Lantern Business," Hal stated sternly as Maria pouted...but then perked up as she grinned smugly.

"Well, today is Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day, and since you being Green Lantern is basically your second job, you have to take me with you, especially since I will become a Green Lantern eventually in the future."

"...Okay, first off, that's not how that works, Maria, and second...fine, but don't tell Carol that I did this if she ever found out my secret identity."

"Yay! Thank you, Daddy!" Maria cheered while going over to hug him as Hal rolled his eyes playfully and hugged her back as we then fast forward in time and we see them hanging out on the roof of Ferris Aircraft as Maria's Father then glanced down at his Disguised Green Lantern Power Ring before it began glowing green and a wave of green will-powered energy washed over his whole body as a flash of green light occurred, and once it died down, we see Hal Jordan transformed into his Green Lantern Form as he then bends down to grab his Daughter and covered them in a big green energy glow to protect them both from the vacuum of space as Green Lantern then instantly flew them up high into the air at high speeds and breached past the atmosphere of Planet Earth as they began soaring through space after flying past the Watchtower. "Oh, this is awesome!" Maria cheered loudly as she then paused a bit and turned to her Father. "Hey, Dad, why did the Guardians need you to go to Planet Oa anyway?"

"Good question. What's going on, Ring?" Green Lantern asked as his Green Lantern Power Ring glowed brightly.

"Green Lantern of sector 2814, report immediately to Oa. Priority one."

"Well, that answers that," Maria said with a small grin on her face and rolled her eyes as the Jordans continued flying through space at high speeds until they eventually arrived at Planet Oa, which is the main headquarters of the Green Lantern Corps and the homeworld of the Guardians of the Universe. "Whoa, this place looks amazing."

"Heh, yeah, be it ever so humble, there's no place like Oa." Green Lantern says while they breached through the planet's atmosphere as the Jordans flew through Planet Oa and turned off the green energy aura covering their bodies as Hal flew them over to land inside of one of the buildings as they landed inside to see two Green Lanterns standing before them.

Standing before them is an 8-foot-tall, 220-year-old Male Bolovaxian with a pair of small red eyes, no hair/eyebrows/nose, a pair of pink small ears, a large mouth with two gnaw-like teeth, a sharp chin, Pink Skin, a really tall muscularly toned build, and he was currently wearing his Green Lantern Uniform, which consists of a skintight green/black jumpsuit with a white/green Green Lantern symbol planted on his chest, a pair of white gloves, green trousers, and a pair of green boots. His name is Kilowog, one of the most highly regarded Green Lanterns out of all the whole Green Lantern Corps, a drill instructor responsible for teaching and mentoring newly-recruited Green Lanterns on Oa as, while he served the Corps, Kilowog's planet was destroyed, wiping out his people and most importantly his family as he continued to serve the Corps and became close friends with Hal Jordan after training him as a new recruit when he was first inducted into the Corps, and one of Maria's Godfathers.

Standing before us is a 5'8-foot-tall, 110-year-old Male Slyggian with a huge head as he had a pair of small pupilless black eyes, no hair/eyebrows/nose, a small mouth, a sharp chin, Pink Skin, a tall slim build, and he was currently wearing his Green Lantern Uniform, which consists of a skintight green/black jumpsuit with a white/green Green Lantern symbol planted on his chest, a pair of white gloves, green trousers, and a pair of green boots. His name is Salaak, a Member of the Green Lantern Corps.

"Hal and Maria Jordan of Earth."

"Salaak, of some planet whose name escapes me at the moment." Green Lantern says awkwardly as a beaming Maria runs over to hug one of Kilowog's legs.

"Uncle Kilowog! I'm so happy to see you again!"

"Likewise, runt," Kilowog said with a small warm smirk and ruffled her hair as he then gave Hal a stern glare. "Jordan, why the hell did you bring your Daughter to Planet Oa?"

"Hey, what can I say? It's Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day."

"I have no idea what that is," Kilowog stated bluntly as Maria stared up at him innocently.

"So what did Daddy do this time?"

"Oh, you will see."

"What does that mean?" Green Lantern asked as he and the others began walking forward.

"You'll find out soon enough, Jordan. Just keep it professional, and definitely don't go looking for me to bail you out this time." Kilowog says with a firm glare while he and the others arrive at the Guardians' Meeting Room as all of the Guardians of the Universe float down to sit around them, and resemble light blue-skinned alien creatures with a pair of eyes that have green sclera and blue-colored pupils, white hair, and wore red robes with the Green Lantern Corps Symbols attached on their chests as the prominent Guardians of the Universe are named, 'Appa Ali Apsa, Syd, and Ganthet'.

"Did I leave the toilet seat up or something?" Green Lantern asked sheepishly as Maria turned to Kilowog.

"He does that a lot."

"Maria, why you snitching on your old man, baby girl?"

"Hal Jordan of Earth, Green Lantern of sector 2814. The Viceroy of Demrakk 7 claims that when we assigned you to police crucial peace negotiations, you punched him in the face. Is this true?" An annoyed Appa Ali Apsa asked sternly as Hal shook his head.

"No, sir...I punched the Viceroy in the stomach, kicked him in his nonexistent dick, and then I headbutted him in the face, sir." Green Lantern says with a polite and professional tone as Maria snorts but says nothing due to Kilowog silently telling her to stay quiet. "The Viceroy was a serious dirtbag using diplomatic immunity to cover up his slave trafficking ring."

"The council should note that Jordan's claims have since been proven true by Demrakk's authorities," Ganthet says with a small smirk as Appa Ali Apsa huffs.

"That is not the point."

"How is that not the point though? Daddy stopped the bad guy. Isn't that what Green Lanterns do?" Maria asked as Appa Ali Apsa stuttered a bit before explaining.

"Well, I...you see...kiddo...your Father clearly seems to revel in exceeding his authority, ignoring our orders and making his own-," Appa Ali Apsa says before everyone grows quiet at the sight of a Green Lantern Power Ring flying onto the scene as Maria perked up, hoping that a Green Lantern Power Ring was choosing her to be its new wielder...until it dropped down into the ground lifelessly as she and the others then gained grim looks on their faces.

"Oh no..." Kilowog says somberly as Hal flies over to bend down and grab the ring with a serious glare on his face.

"We can argue about my conduct later but right now somewhere out there, there's a dead Green Lantern." Green Lantern says as everyone nods, and we fast forward in time to see Salaak appearing in the Guardian Room as Hal places the Green Lantern Power Ring on his computer. "Salaak, whose ring is this?" Green Lantern asked as Salaak pulled up the information about the Late Green Lantern's power ring.

"Green Lantern M'Ten."

"Never seen this guy before in my life," Kilowog says as this was surprising to the Jordans since he has trained nearly all of the Green Lanterns in this sector and beyond.

"Salaak, display Guardian Space," Ganthet ordered as Salaak did so and projected a holographic image of Guardian Space. "There are 3,600 sectors in Guardian Space, and we have dispatched our Power Rings to choose a worthy protector of each sector. You are Green Lantern Corps."

"This part we know." Green Lantern whispered to the others as they nodded.

"Display the homeworld of Frontier Lantern Space," Ganthet ordered as Salaak pulled back the holographic map to show Frontier Lantern Space.

"Frontier Lantern Space?" A confused Maria asked as Syd grew serious.

"This is the Guardian Frontier, the very edge of our territory."

"We have seeded Lanterns there, but they are few and far between. The vast distance makes contact with the Frontier Lanterns sporadic, at best." Ganthet says as a bewildered Kilowog turned to him.

"Then who trains them?"

"They receive limited instruction from their rings. That is all." Syd says as Maria frowns worriedly.

"That seems...rather dangerous...and what do these lights signify?" Maria asked while pointing up at the glowing green lights that were flying through Frontier Lantern Space.

"These are locations where operatives went offline. Those Power Rings are currently in search of new hosts or en route back to Oa."

"Wait...then that means that there have been about ten dead Green Lanterns in Frontier Lantern Space." A stunned Maria says with a horrified tone as Salaak turns to her.

"Actually, there were twelve dead Green Lanterns but two of the Green Lantern Power Rings have already chosen their new wielders."

"Wait, you guys knew that there have been tons of dead Green Lantern Wielders in Frontier Lantern Space, and you just sit there, doing nothing?" Green Lantern asked with a sharp glare as even Salaak nodded in agreement.

"You did not even see it fit to inform us about these Lantern deaths?"

"There is nothing to be done right now. Flying at top speed you wouldn't reach the frontier for 18 months. We are formulating a plan." Appa Ali Apsa says reassuringly as a determined Maria glares.

"But while you guys are formulating a plan, the Green Lanterns in Frontier Lantern Space are being killed by an unknown enemy left and right. Not all of these Green Lanterns may have been dying from natural causes or by the elements. Someone has been deliberately targeting each Green Lantern to kill them."

"My Daughter is right. Lanterns are dying out there. We need to get out there and stop whoever is targeting them now." Green Lantern says with a scowl as Appa Ali Apsa narrows his eyes angrily.

"Let me remind the Green Lantern of Earth that the Guardians are not on trial here. Not to mention that he brought along a Non-Green Lantern to Planet Oa without permission for the fifth time this year."

"Appa Ali Apsa, it has been an eventful session. Perhaps a period of refreshment is required or as our earthman would say, a coffee break." Ganthet interrupted, not wanting things to escalate as we then fast forward in time, and we see him, Green Lantern, and Kilowog flying through Planet Oa while Maria flew beside them on a small green will-powered construct of a plane that Hal had made for her to be able to fly with them.

"Good call, Ganthet. Another minute and I might've said something-,"

"Incredibly stupid? Yeah, I think that ship sailed a long time ago, Jordan." Kilowog says dryly as Maria rolls her eyes...before looking around as she realizes something.

"Wait, Mister Ganthet, this isn't the way to the commissary."

"Indeed, Young Jordan. I thought we might enjoy taking a more scenic route." Ganthet says with a warm smile as they arrive at the hangar that contains a prototype interceptor white/green spacecraft, and it is powered by the Green Will Energy of the Guardians and has an advanced AI, making it the fastest known spaceship in the galaxy.

"What is that?"

"Oh, that? Nothing really. An experimental prototype powered by the Green Will Energy itself." Ganthet says with a casual tone as Kilowog's jaw dropped.

"Holy crud..."

"How fast?" Green Lantern asked as he and Maria shared knowing looks with each other.

"Well, the interceptor is potentially the fastest ship ever created by sentient life."

"Potentially?"

"This prototype is so sophisticated and travels so fast that the nav computer is an actual artificial intelligence," Ganthet says as the Jordans perked up and were planning to fly towards it but were stopped by a stern Kilowog.

"Oh, no, I know that look on your faces, Jordan and Jordan Jr. This isn't one of your earthen jet thingies."

"Look, I'll take her up and work the bugs out. Then we'll fly to the frontier and we'll take care of the Lantern Killer." Green Lantern says as Ganthet sighs somberly.

"I doubt that will come to pass. It is much too risky, and all Guardians must be in agreement. Some will doubt the very existence of this Lantern Killer."

"Then why show us this?" Killowog asked confusedly as Ganthet shrugged.

"I told you, my friends. We're simply taking the scenic route." Ganthet says while turning around to fly away with Killowog, but not before briefly turning his head to wink over at the Jordans, who perked up as they nodded.

"This is why Ganthet is my favorite Guardian."

"Same, anyway, let me take you back to Earth so that I can-,"

"What? No, I want to come." A pouting Maria says as Green Lantern gives her a serious glare.

"Sorry, sweetie, but this mission is too dangerous. Not to mention that I have no idea how long this mission will take to accomplish. I will arrange a Green Lantern to take you back to Planet Earth and I will have Uncle Barry and Aunty Iris look after you while I'm gone on this mission."

"But, Dad, that brat Wally would probably be at Uncle Barry and Aunty Iris's House." A groaning Maria says as Hal raises an eyebrow at her in disbelief and amusement.

"You do realize that you are only a year older than Wally, right? Besides, he is not a brat, honey."

"First off, I'm older than Wally, so he is a brat to me. Second, he is a brat. Wally always gets us into trouble and tries to kiss me. Remember what happened during Christmas?" Maria asked as Hal snorted amusedly.

"Oh yeah, you decked him after he tried to do the missile toe trick on you. Good punch by the way."

"Thanks. Grandpa Jay said my right hook looked like old Wildcat's." Maria says as Hal then gives her a flat look.

"And we had to pay for Wally's dentist."

"It was worth it for not having him steal my first kiss." Maria says as Hal snorts amusedly before growing serious as he gives her a firm look.

"Maria, whether you like it or not, you can't come with me on the mission. End of discussion." Green Lantern says while flying him and Maria away as she grumbles angrily...before perking up as a sly idea pops into her head, and we then cue over to Frontier Lantern Space as we see a Green Lantern flying towards a spaceship containing a 150-year-old Zox.

Standing before him is a 5'6-foot-tall, 45-year-old Male Bugian with a pair of small eyes that have yellow scleras and black pupils, a bald head with a pair of pink antennas planted on top, pointy floppy ears, two holes that acted as his nose, a sharp chin, Pink Skin, a short slim build, and he was currently wearing his Green Lantern Uniform, which consists of a skintight green/black jumpsuit with a white/green Green Lantern symbol planted on his chest, a pair of green gloves, and a pair of green boots as he has the Green Lantern Power Ring on his right arm. His name is Shyir Rev, Biara's Husband, Amala's Father, and a Green Lantern stationed in Frontier Space as Shyir was once an engineer on the planet Colony 12 before he became a Green Lantern of his world.

"A Green Lantern! Thank Grox, I thought I would perish here!"

"Can you put your hand up so I can pull you out?" Shyir Rev asked as Zox grinned evilly.

"A little help would be appreciated," Zox says while using his Red Lantern Power Ring to fire a bunch of red rage-powered energy blasts at Shyir Rev, who reacted quickly and flew away to dodge it while also creating a big will-powered green energy bat to whack him away, only to be forced to dodge around as a 25-year-old Razer appeared and fired a bunch of red rage-powered energy blasts at the Green Lantern as he tried to fight back, but was then blindsided when a 13-year-old (Mentally)/45-year-old (Physically) Red Martian phased out of the ground and fired a big beam of red rage-powered energy at Shyir Rev's back, causing him to scream in pain and agony while dropping down into the ground as a smug-faced Zox floated onto the scene.

"Not so cocky now, are you?" Zox asked as Shyir Rev thought quickly and raised his hands to create a big will-powered green energy drill around him that began spinning around in place, creating a big sandstorm that blinded everyone as, once it died down, the Red Lanterns were surprised to see that he had disappeared from sight. "Where is he?" Zox asked as Red Martian tapped his forehead and used his telepathy to scan the area for the Green Lantern's mind as he was able to find him and pointed to the left as Zox and Razer turned their heads to see an injured Shyir Rev flying away from them into a canyon at high speeds. "Okay, here's the plan. We split up, and this time, shoot sooner." Zox ordered his fellow Red Lanterns with a sharp tone before they split up as we cue back to Planet Oa, and we see Green Lantern standing inside of the hanger as he created a Ganthet-shaped green will-powered energy construct and had it walk forward to confront the Robot Sentry.

"Identify!"

"Ganthet of the Guardians."

"...Incorrect! Alarm detected! Contacting security!" The Robot Sentry says as Green Lantern sighed heavily and fired a big blast of will-powered green energy that collided against the robot, destroying it as he then ran forward to arrive at the area where the Interceptor was kept and was surprised to see a glaring Kilowog standing before him.

"Kinda figured you'd turn up here, hotshot. Just your style. You borrow the ship. Rush into danger. Catch the killer. Save the day. Big hero."

"You forgot to get the girl. There's probably a girl somewhere in this." Green Lantern says with a joking tone as he then grows serious. "Don't try to stop me, big guy."

"Who's trying to stop you? I'm coming with you. Besides, did you forget anything?" Kilowog asked with a smirk while holding up two Green Lantern Power Batteries as Hal smirked back and nodded.

"Okay, you can tag along."

"I've been saving your butt ever since boot camp. No reason to stop now," Kilowog says with a laugh while they float into the Interceptor as they are amazed by the sight of a huge Green Lantern Power Battery placed inside.

"Wow. Look at that. This thing's engine's a giant power battery."

"She's beautiful."

"She?" Kilowog asked confusedly as Hal smirked.

"She. A ship is always she." Green Lantern says while he and Kilowog eventually arrived at the main deck of the Interceptor and sat down on either the Captain's Seat or the passenger seat. "Wonder how you fly this baby."

"Please define the term: Beautiful." The Interceptor's AI Nav Computer says as the boys perked up.

"That must be the AI nav computer."

"Hello, Aya. We're your new best friends: Hal and Kilowog. We want to learn how to fly you." Green Lantern greeted as Kilowog rolled his eyes dryly.

"AI does not spell Aya, it spells Ayee."

"But Aya is a pretty name. A pretty name for a pretty girl."

"Don't you ever stop? How does your Daughter put up with you?" An annoyed Kilowog asked as the Now-Named Aya beeped positively.

"New designation accepted: Aya."

"Aya, would you like to play a game?" Green Lantern asked with a cocky smirk as Aya beeped curiously.

"What game?"

"This game is called Joyride."

"How does one play Joyride?"

"...I disagree." Ganthet says as he is having a meeting with the Guardians of the Universe. "The Corps must be told everything we know." Ganthet says as Appa Ali Apsa shakes his head with a small, annoyed huff.

"We know nothing for certain. All we have is a theory."

"Look!" Syd says with a shocked gasp while pointing over at the opened window as the Guardians were surprised to see the Interceptor flying past them.

"Somebody's coming!" A worried Kilowog says while pointing out of the window as he and Hal spot all of the Guardians following after them as a furious Appa Ali Apsa slams his fists on the window and gestures at them to land immediately or else they will face some serious consequences.

"Initiate Ultra-Warp, now!" Green Lantern ordered with a sharp tone as Aya beeped.

"Ultra-Warp Protocol requires at least 43 minutes to calculate-,"

"Aya, listen to me. Kilowog and I are Green Lanterns. We help people. Right now there are some other Green Lanterns in trouble at the coordinates I gave you."

"It is unsafe to bypass protocols."

"Green Lanterns risk their lives to save the lives of others. Aya, please." Green Lantern begged as Aya beeped...but charged up the Ultra-Warp Protocol and its Green Lantern Power Battery glowed brightly as the Green Lanterns were then taken off Planet Oa at high speeds before going into Ultra-Warp as Appa Ali Apsa huffed in annoyance and flew off with the rest of the Guardians of the Universe as Ganthet looked away with a soft smile on his face.

"Whoa, we did it." A stunned Kilowog says as Hal nodded, and was about to say something, but then-

"Yeah, we did it, Uncle Kilowog."

"I guess we did it, Jordan Junior...wait, what?!" Kilowog asked with a surprised tone as he and Hal whirled around to see Maria sitting behind them with a cheeky smirk on her face.

"Maria, what are you doing here?!" Green Lantern asked with a stern glare as he got up from his chair.

"Duh, I came here for the mission."

"But what about-,"

"I told the Green Lantern that I had to pee and told him that Humans take hours to use the bathroom, so I sneaked out of the bathroom and sneaked up into the Interceptor way before you two showed up," Maria explained as a bewildered Kilowog turned to her.

"But how did you get past the Robot Sentry?"

"Easy, I hacked into it to bypass it. FYI, tell the Guardians of the Universe that they need better security." Maria says as Hal sighs heavily.

"Look, we are turning back around to take you back to Planet Earth personally. Aya? Turn us-," Green Lantern says before he and the others yelped in surprise as the Interceptor shook violently. "Aya, what's going on?!"

"Warning! Bypassing protocols have resulted in an unstable Ultra-warp Field! Disintegration is imminent! Hull integrity at seven point seven five percent!"

"Aya, can you convert to manual controls?!" Maria asked as Aya beeped.

"Affirmative. However manual control of a vehicle while in Ultra-Warp-,"

"Do it! Daddy, punch a hole through the Ultra-Warp Conduit!" Maria ordered as Hal perked up and went over to sit down on the Captain's Seat as he grabbed the controls.

"Good idea, sweetie...you are still in trouble though!" Green Lantern says while ramming the Interceptor into the Ultra-Warp Conduit as an irritated Kilowog turns to the Jordans.

"How is this better?!"

"Maria is onto something! If I can slow us down, I might be able to punch through the ultra-warp conduit without breaking her apart!" Green Lantern says while having the Interceptor punch through the Ultra-Warp Conduit as they were able to miraculously go through it and exit the Ultra-Warp Conduit to appear in Frontier Lantern Space as, once everyone recovered, the trio looked around in shock and awe.

"Wow. Frontier space."

"I wonder what the odds are for me making my dinner with Carol." Green Lantern says as Maria turns to give him a blunt look.

"As much of the odds of you and Miss Ferris becoming a couple."

"A billion lightyears from home, and that's what you're thinkin'? You must've really lost it for this girl." Kilowog says while rolling his eyes as Maria smirks.

"Oh, definitely. I've heard him mutter Carol's name when he's sleeping."

"W-What? I don't do that!" A blushing Green Lantern says as Maria and Kilowog laugh a bit. "And don't think that you are not grounded for a month when we turn this ship around to go back to-,"

"Attention! I am picking up telemetry from a nearby Power Ring!" Aya says as the gang grows serious, and Kilowog goes over to check on the dashboard of the supercomputer.

"It's a GL, and Jordans, whoever he or she is, they are still alive,"

"But not for long. He is in a firefight, and losing." Aya says as Maria grows grim and turns to her Father.

"Dad, I know that you are mad, but a Green Lantern's life is on the line. Can we put aside my punishment long enough to save him?" Maria asked as Hal sighed heavily yet again but nodded.

"Fine. Buckle up, people. This is now officially a rescue mission." Green Lantern says with a scowl as he pilots the Interceptor to fly towards the planet from where the Green Lantern was stationed, and we zoom inside to see a panting Rev trying to run away from the Red Lanterns, only for Razer and Red Martian to fire a bunch of red rage-powered energy attacks that collided against him, gravely injuring him and caused him to crash down into the ground as a smirking Zox turned to the boys.

"Not bad. I'll graciously allow you two to make up for your earlier squeamishness. You can strike the final blow, Razer, unless of course, you are too weak." Zox says to Razer, who frowns stoically and holds out his Red Lantern Power Ring as he is about to shoot down a downed Rev, only for the Interceptor to appear out of nowhere and shoot a big blast of will-powered green energy that collides against the surprised Red Lanterns, sending them flying away as the hatch opened up and the Green Lanterns flew out of it as Hal raised his Green Lantern Power Ring to create a big construct of a green will-powered hand that latched onto the Red Lanterns, only for them to easily break themselves out of his grasp by firing a big wave of red rage-powered energy as Zox fired a big wave of red rage-powered plasma from out of his hand that Kilowog barely blocked by creating a small will-powered green energy shield as the Green Lanterns then turned around to fly away. "Weaklings! Your feeble constructs are crushed beneath the Red Lanterns' might!" Zox roared while he and the others flew after the Green Lanterns, not knowing that the Interceptor flew over to park down on the ground and the walkway appeared as Maria ran down it and made her way over to Rev.

"Hey, I'm Maria, one of the Green Lanterns' Daughter. I'm here to help."

"Heh, thanks for the help, kid," Rev says as Maria grabs onto him and helps him up to his feet as she brings him to the ship.

"Red Lantern?! What the Norx is a Red Lantern?!" Kilowog asked while he and Hal took cover behind a rock as he shrugged.

"These guys I'm guessing! Let's move!" Green Lantern says while he and Kilowog flew away as the Red Lanterns continued firing more and more red rage-powered energy blasts down at them, which Hal blocked by creating a big will-powered energy shield as Kilowog swiftly formed a large rock-shaped will-powered energy construct and fired it over to collide against Zox, sending him flying away as Red Martian flew over to try and attack them, only for Green Lantern to create a big flamethrower-like green energy will-powered construct and fired a big stream of green will-powered flames that scared Marcus, forcing him to fly away as an enraged Razer tried to fly over and attack him, but was swatted away by a big hammer-shaped green will-powered energy construct as we cue back to Maria and we see her placing Rev down on the bed of the Medical Bay.

"You will be okay in here, sir. In the meantime, I have to save my Daddy and Uncle." Maria says while turning around to leave as we cue back to the others and we see the Green Lanterns once again taking cover behind a pillar.

"Okay, the good news is that Maria brought that Green Lantern to safety. The bad news is that I'm running low." Green Lantern says as Kilowog hums.

"Okay, I will fight the three of them off long enough for you to fly back to the ship and recharge," Kilowog says to Hal before flying off as he fired a big wave of green will-powered energy at the Red Lanterns, who dodge it as Razer and Zox fly after him while Red Martian stands by as he uses his telepathy to sense where the other Green Lantern is and spotted him trying to fly back to the Interceptor as he flew over to fire multiple red rage-powered energy beams at Hal and one of them was able to him as he crashed down into the ground.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Red Martian screamed as he flew over to try and slam his fist down at Green Lantern, who rolled out of the way and swiftly created a bat made out of green will-powered energy as he began swinging at Ma'rkus, who turned himself intangible to avoid the attack before turning tangible to try and hit him, only for Hal to cover his body with intense will-powered green fire that caused him to stumble back in shock and fear, only for Hal's Green Lantern Power Ring to beep negatively as it lost its power and it glowed green as a wave of green will-powered energy washed over his whole body, and a flash of green light occurred, as, once it died down, we see Hal Jordan being forcibly transformed back into his Civilian Form, surprising Red Martian as he then fumed and held out his hands to use his telekinesis to rip out two huge pieces of rock as he was about to try and throw them at the De-Powered Green Lantern, only for the Interceptor to fly by and fire a bunch of green will-powered energy blasts down at them, specifically at Red Martian as he was forced to turn intangible to phase down into the ground as Maria had the ship circle around and landed on the ground as a beaming Hal got an idea, especially when Kilowog appeared as Razer and Zox were chasing after him as Red Martian phased out of the ground and began flying after him.

"In brightest day, in blackest night,"

"No evil shall escape my sight!"

"Let those who worship evil's might,"

"Beware my power,"

"Green Lantern's Light!" Hal chanted while rushing over to leap onto the spaceship and climbing up it before reaching where the Interceptor's Giant Green Lantern Power Battery was held as he raised his Non-Disguised Green Lantern Power Ring and slammed his fist down at it as Hal was instantly recharged and it glowed green as a wave of green will-powered energy washed over his whole body, and a flash of green light occurred, as, once it died down, we see Hal Jordan being transformed into his Green Lantern Form and raised his hand as he fired a humongous blast of green will-powered energy that flew over to collide against the Red Lanterns, sending them flying off-world with several pained and panicking screams as Hal groaned and crashed down into the ground, unconscious as we then fast forward in time and we see a groaning Green Lantern waking up to find himself resting on the medical bed placed in the Medical Bay as Maria and Kilowog stood around him.

"Daddy, you are okay." A relieved Maria says as Kilowog smirks cockily.

"Easy, hotshot. Think you're pretty clever charging your ring off the engine like that huh? I say you're lucky not to blow your arm off."

"It feels like I did. What about the other GL?" Green Lantern asked worriedly as Maria gestured over at a resting Rev.

"Don't worry, Daddy, he's gonna be a little sore, but that GL will be alright."

"Where are our friends, Ball and Chain? As well as the Martian wearing that Red Lantern Ring?" Green Lantern asked as Kilowog chuckled.

"Your fireworks display sent them on a little trip, but I got a bad feeling we'll be seeing them again soon."

"But in the meantime, who knows maybe we'll be back in time for your date with Miss Ferris after all," Maria says with a grin as Hal grows serious.

"Dinner will have to wait. We're here now, we fight them. We stop them."

"Yeah, whatever it takes. However long it takes. We will stop them and make the Red Lanterns pay for killing those innocent Green Lanterns." Maria says with a determined and hopeful tone as Hal and Kilowog nod stoically.

"...Hal Jordan of Earth, soon to be former Green Lantern of sector 2814." Appa Ali Apsa says with a stern and angry tone as we fast forward in time and we see Hal, Maria, Kilowog, and a semi-recovered Rev hanging out in the main area of the Interceptor as they are having a holo-chat with the Guardians of the Universe. "You are now charged with treason, grand theft, being an irresponsible father for letting-,"

"Let's postpone my lynching until we tell you a couple of things." Green Lantern says with a stern glare as he then holds out his Green Lantern Power Ring and projects three holographic green-will-powered energy constructs of Razer, Red Martian, and Zox. "Do you see these handsome devils? They're the Lantern Killers you said didn't exist."

"They called themselves, 'The Red Lanterns', and they seemed to possess the same powers as the Green Lanterns but are more much powerful. They were able to break through Papa and Uncle Kilowog's Energy Constructs like they were nothing." Maria added as the Guardians of the Universe looked surprised by this.

"Red Lanterns, are you sure?" A shocked Syd asked as Appa Ali Apsa rolled his eyes and scoffed.

"He has concocted this ruse to save himself from a deserved punishment."

"Respectfully, sir. I got an aching jaw that says they ain't no ruse." Kilowog says as Maria nods.

"Yeah, and we have video proof of their existence via the Interceptor's Cameras. Oh, and we forgot to mention that they possess rings of their own."

"They have rings?! Powered by what?!" Syd asked worriedly as Hal shrugged.

"Best guess? A huge desire to mash us all into pulp."

"Kilowog of Bolovax Vik. What is your recommendation?" Ganthet asked as Kilowog grinned savagely.

"I say we high-tail it back to Oa, take Maria back to Planet Earth, cram the Interceptor with as many GLs as she'll hold, Ultra-Warp back, and kick their red butts until they're black and blue."

"Despite the colorful terminology, what he said is a logical course of action," Syd says just as a Red Lantern Hunter Killer Drone appears near them as Ava beeps.

"Sensors have picked up an unmanned probe sweeping the area. Markings match the insignia of the recently encountered hostiles."

"Right. Red Lanterns. Aya, plot intercept course. It's go time." Green Lantern says with a serious nod as Appa Ali Apsa glared at him.

"Hal Jordan of Earth, do not terminate this communication-,"

"Sorry, gotta take this, don't be a stranger." Green Lantern says with a cheeky tone as he then hanged up and has the Interceptor fly after the Red Lantern Hunter Killer Drone as we briefly go back to Planet Oa, and we see Appa Ali Apsa fuming angrily.

"This threat may turn out to be nothing more than a few extremists."

"If the truth does come out, many will wonder why it isn't recorded in the book of Oa." Syd pointed out as Ganthet hummed with a serious scowl on his face.

"Because, Syd, the history is written, or unwritten, by the victors."

"Forget about snaring it, just blast it!" Green Lantern ordered as Kilowog began firing a bunch of green will-powered energy blasts at the Red Lantern Hunter Killer Drone, who avoided them and fired back a multitude of red rage-powered energy blasts at the spaceship, damaging it as everyone yelped in surprise.

"Warning! Shield degrading!"

"Dad, why are we attacking the probe in the first place?! Let's just warp back home!" Maria yelled as Kilowog nodded.

"Yeah, Jordan Junior is right! Let's stick to the plan! We go for reinforcements, then come back!"

"We can't let this thing give away our position!"

"What position?! We're teleporting away anyway, so who cares if they know where we were?! There is no need for us to attack the probe at all!" A very annoyed Maria snapped as Kilowog nodded before his eyes widened in realization as he grew angry.

"Oh, wait, I see how it is! The Red Lanterns caught you with your pants down back on that rock and you want payback!" Kilowog says with Hal frowns, not saying anything to refute what he says as the Red Lantern Hunter Killer Drone fires a bunch of rockets that collide against the Interceptor, damaging it even more.

"Direct hit to port ampoules. Shield's degrading to critical. Please do not let that happen again."

"Get ready to fire when I clear that rock." Green Lantern says while pointing over at a huge rock in their way as the Red Lantern Hunter Killer Drone flies to the side to avoid it, and Hal slams his Green Lantern Power Ring into the console to project a giant green will-powered energy construct of a drill that drilled through the giant rock and the Interceptor appeared out of the other side of the rock as a smirking Hal fired a big green will-powered energy blast that collided against the Red Lantern Hunter Killer Drone to blow it up into a billion pieces.

"Happy?" Kilowog asked dryly as Hal nodded.

"That felt good."

"A probe like that means the Red Lanterns are more than three killers with rings and a symbol. They're organized." Rev says with a wise tone as Maria nods and gives her Father a worried look.

"So can we please go back to Planet Oa now?"

"Yeah, we can't hog all the fun. Let's hit HQ and load up the boys like we planned." Green Lantern says as everyone sighs in relief. "Aya, take us home."

"We can't Ultra-Warp now," Ava says, surprising everyone as they glance up at the ceiling confusedly. "We have an overload due to a hairline crack in the Ultra-Warp coil. Most likely caused by the last missile hit by the enemy probe." Ava explained as everyone, including Maria, turned to glare over at a sheepish Hal.

"For the record, she said most likely. Not totally likely."

"What does that mean?" Rev asked as Maria turned to him.

"It means we're gonna be a little late to Oa."

"And that's okay, I like to make an entrance." Green Lantern says reassuringly as he then glances up at the ceiling. "Aya, please estimate the time for repairs."

"Calculating...Ultra-Warp ready in nine point two-,"

"Nine hours? No problem-,"

"...Nine point two one months."

"...Oh..." A wincing Green Lantern says as Maria rolls her eyes and facepalmed.

"Ava? Is it possible that Dad, Uncle Kilowog, and Rev can form a construct and replace the defective part for the ride home?"

"The construct would have to be an exact copy of the Ultra-Warp Coil Mechanism, and its 56 moving parts to within a 0.8162 micron tolerance."

"...Can either of you do that?" Green Lantern asked the others awkwardly as Kilowog rolled his eyes blankly.

"I make hammers."

"And I'm not as experienced as other Green Lanterns are," Rev added as Hal hummed and rubbed his chin a bit.

"Look, maybe it's for the best. The Guardians won't deal with the problem like we will. We'll make those Red Lanterns pay." Green Lantern says just as Rev groaned in pain as Maria cursed.

"Damn it, Rev is really hurt, Daddy. He needs a real doctor."

"Yeah, at this rate, he won't make it nine hours, never mind nine months," Kilowog says as a disappointed Rev sighs heavily.

"I was kinda looking forward to seeing Oa."

"Aya, scan for the nearest inhabited world. Preferably one with a hospital." Green Lantern ordered as Rev shook his head.

"Don't bother, I know my own sector anywhere. We're not far from my home colony."

"Good, let's go there to lay low for a while and get him fixed up," Maria says as the Green Lanterns nod and fly off, not knowing that a tracking device was placed on the Interceptor as we then cue over to the Shard, and we see Razer, Red Martian, and Zox having a meeting with their leader.

Standing before them is a 6'5-feet-tall Male Ryutian of Unknown Age as he has a half-burned face that shows the right side of his gingiva with a pair of pupilless yellow eyes, two small horns planted on each side of his face, no hair/eyebrows/ears, a small round nose, a wide mouth with big-blockish teeth, a sharp chin, dark red skin with burn scars on his body, a really tall muscularly slim body, and was currently wearing his Red Lantern Supersuit, which consists of him wearing a long-sleeved skintight black supersuit with a red collar, spiked dark red shoulder pads, a dark red torso as he has the Red Lantern Corps Symbol planted on his chest, a pair of arm-length dark red gloves, black sides, long black pants with red sides, and a pair of red combat boots as he also wears the Red Lantern Power Ring on his right hand. His name is Atrocitus, the founder and Leader of the Red Lantern Corps.

"You had three Green Lanterns in your grasp, and let them escape?! Perhaps you're not wholly committed to our righteous crusade!" An angry Atrocitus says while having his back turned against them as Zox floats forward to begin kissing his ass.

"I live to serve the mighty Atrocitus, your will is the core of my very being."

"What good is that to me, Zilius Zox, if you're not competent to kill a mere three Green Lanterns?" An angry Atrocitus says while turning to the Red Lanterns as Zox points over to the others.

"It was these children's fault. They have been promoted too quickly and on false grounds. They pitied them. The destroyers of our system."

"What do you have to say for yourselves?"

"Zox lies. Besides, Zox neglected to mention that these Lanterns were different from those we eliminated before." Red Martian says curtly as Razer nods.

"Yeah, they were tougher and better trained," Razer added as Atrocitus's eyes widened in shock and worry.

"How could they know already?"

"Who, my lord?"

"The Guardians of Oa. If they've sent reinforcements then your failure may jeopardize my plans." Atrocitus says as Zox growled angrily.

"No! They must be destroyed! They must die for Shard, all for you and Shard, master!"

"That's right, Zilius. Shard is sacred ground. A piece of the remains of our world which the Guardians attempted to erase from the universe." Atrocitus says with Red Martian looking a bit doubtful by what he said as Razer's Red Lantern Power Ring glowed red and perked up.

"They did not succeed then, and will not today. Look." Razer says while going over to press a button on the console of the Shard's Supercomputer to show video footage of the Interceptor fighting against the Red Lantern Hunter Killer Drone. "It seems one of my Hunter Killer Drones found the Green Lanterns."

"Your 'Hunter Killer Drone' isn't much on the killer part, is it?" Zox says dryly after they spotted the Interceptor blowing up the drone.

"The done's attack was a feint. Its actual goal was to plant a tracker that will lead us to them,"

"And then we'll draw out these Guardian Lapdogs and destroy them. Wherever they may hide." Atrocitus says with an evil grin on his face and his Red Lantern Power Ring glows a bright bloody red as we then fast forward in time, and we cue over to the Colony 12 Planet as we see the Interceptor parked near a house and Maria and the Green Lanterns stood around Rev, who was being treated by his wife as he yelped in pain.

Standing before them is a 5'4-foot-tall, 43-year-old Female Bugian with a pair of small eyes that have yellow scleras and black pupils, a bald head with a pair of pink antennas planted on top, pointy floppy ears, two holes that acted as her nose, a sharp chin, Pink Skin, a short slender build, and her outfit consists of a sleeveless swan-necked white dress that reaches down to her legs as she doesn't wear any shoes. Her name is Biara, Shyir Rev's Wife, Amala's Mother, and a Geologist.

"Don't be such a baby."

"Very handy to have a doctor for a wife." Green Lantern says as Biara shakes her head.

"Medicine is something I picked up because of my husband's second job."

"She's actually the colony's head geologist. I was an engineer, that was how we met. Beata's the genius who dreamed up using the volcano's lava as thermal power." Rev says as a curious Maria turns to him.

"So was that your secret identity, engineer?"

"Secret what?" Rev asked confusedly as Kilowog snorted amusedly.

"That's Hal's hang-up, that thing on his face, it's a mask. He wears it in case some Earthling sneaks into the Interceptor, while in space mind you, and goes: 'Aha! The Green Lantern on my planet is Hal Jordan! I'm telling everyone!'. As if his own Daughter being around him isn't a freaking clue to who he is." Kilowog says as he and the others laughed amusedly.

"Ha, ha, ha," Green Lantern says with a blank tone as Maria also looks to be equally unamused by the aliens' reactions. "Talk to me when your planet invents paparazzi, the 24-hour news cycle, and you have a daughter to protect against the hundreds of enemies you made on your planet."

"Daddy!" An Alien Girl says while running over to her parents as Rev gives Hal a smug grin.

Standing before them is a 4-foot-tall, 8-year-old Female Bugian with a pair of small eyes that have yellow scleras and black pupils, a bald head with a pair of pink antennas planted on top, pointy floppy ears, two holes that acted as his nose, a sharp chin, Pink Skin, a short slender build, and her outfit consists of a sleeveless dark gray dress that reaches down to her legs as she doesn't wear any shoes. Her name is Amala, Shyir Rev and Biara's Daughter.

"...Well, you only have one of the things that I mentioned." Green Lantern says with a pout as an amused Maria patted him on the back.

"Daddy!"

"Wait, who is this giant? What have you done with my daughter Amala?" Rev asked with a playful tone while reaching down to grab Amala and pulling her into a hug as she giggled.

"I am Amala!"

"Now, now, time for hugs later. Let Daddy rest." Biara scolded playfully while grabbing Amala out of her husband's arms and turned around to walk away.

"This is someplace. Kinda reminds me of where I grew up." Kilowog says as Rev gives him a sympathetic look.

"Bolovax Vik. I'm sorry. Even here we heard about its destruction."

"Your planet was destroyed?" A saddened Maria asked as Kilowog sighed heavily and reached over to rub her head as, before anyone could say anything, Aya beeped worriedly.

"Attention! I have found a tracking device on the Interceptor's hull and require assistance removing it!" Aya warned as a serious Green Lantern raised his Green Lantern Power Ring and used it to scan the Interceptor before being able to find the tracking device and swiftly fired a small green will-powered energy blast that destroyed it.

"Do you think they-," Kilowog asked before getting interrupted by the Shard appearing on Planet Colony 12 and dropping a Liberator on the colony's volcano as everyone glanced at each other worriedly, especially when it projected a red holographic rage-powered image of Atrocitus.

"This colony now enjoys the protection of the Red Lantern Corps. You have been liberated from the tyranny of the Guardians, but their Green Lantern lackeys are here. You have one solar hour to bring these war criminals to us or your planet will be vaporized." Atrocitus says with a serious glare on his face before his holographic red image disappears as the Shard then flies out of the planet.

"Those murdering red-,"

"We have to turn ourselves over to them," Rev says seriously as Biara turns to him worriedly.

"Shyir, no!"

"I don't think that's gonna work, Mister Rev," Maria says anxiously as she turns to him. "I've seen tons of bad guys like him back on Planet Earth. They have killed about twelve innocent Green Lanterns. They're gonna blow up this planet no matter what we do."

"My Daughter is right, and besides, we do have a choice. We can fight them, and keep fighting, until we can't fight anymore." Green Lantern says as Kilowog rolled his eyes and scoffed.

"That thing is a fortress. A frontal attack would be suicide."

"Hey, if you've got another way, I'm all ears, but we've got to take that thing out."

"The Earth-Man is right, we must go," Rev says as Biara raises her hand.

"Shyir, wait, I have another way," Biara says as she explains her plan to the Green Lanterns, who perked up and nodded to her plan as Hal then turned to Maria.

"Sweetie, stay in the Interceptor with Biara and Amala while we deal with the Red Lanterns."

"What? But I want to help." Maria says with a pout as Hal places his hand on her left shoulder.

"Sorry, sweetie, but if you want to be a hero, you need to know when to pick your battles, i.e., a hero needs to learn when it's time to fight, retreat, or focus more on saving civilians." Green Lantern says before he and the others fly off as Maria huffs in annoyance, but then thinks about what he said as an idea pops into her head, and we then fast forward to an hour later as we see the Red Lanterns standing inside the Liberator, right near the detonation to the planet-destroying laser.

"Time's up. Shall I initiate the countdown to detonation?"

"No. Razer will do it." Atrocitus says seriously without looking at them as Razer and Red Martian look shocked by what he said.

"Atrocitus, our cause is right and just but to kill innocents is inhumane."

"Yeah, why do we have to destroy an entire planet filled with tons of innocent people?" Red Martian asked worriedly as Zox scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"As I told you, master, they are weak! Weak! Hell, Ma'rkus has only been with us for about a year and a half!"

"The Guardians and their lapdogs destroyed my homeworld, and Zilius's, and countless others," Atrocitus says while turning around to march over to Razer and Ma'rkus as he glares down at them coldly. "By making an example of these disloyal few, we save millions later. Show weakness now and you doom our people forever."

"...I am not weak...I am not a coward...for the greater good...and vengeance!" Razer says while slamming his hand against the button to detonate the countdown as Marcus looks visibly concerned.

"Countdown sequence initiated. You have five minutes to get to the minimum safe orbital distance."

"Knock, knock! Anybody home?!" Green Lantern asked while appearing by the window as he then flew upwards.

"Zox, come. Razer, and Marcus? Stay, and guard the device. If attacked, do your duty." Atrocitus says to the Red Lanterns, who nod as he and Zox fly out of the room to confront Hal.

"Soon your ring will be all that's left of you, Lantern!"

"Talk to the hand, demented beach ball!" Green Lantern quipped while creating a huge hand-shaped green will-powered energy construct as he proceeds to bitch slap a surprised Zox away before flying up to land on the roof of the Liberator as the Leader of the Red Lantern Corps flew up to land before him.

"I am Atrocitus, lord and master of the Red Lantern Corps! I am the one who will destroy the Guardians and all they stand for! I am wrath! I am hate! I am righteous vengeance!" Atrocitus screamed while throwing multiple powerful punches at Hal, who was able to avoid them all as he then created a big green will-powered energy shield, only for the Leader of the Red Lantern Corp to destroy it with a mere wave of red rage-powered energy that sends Hal flying back with a pained scream as we then cue back to the others and we see Rev and Kilowog, who were trapped inside of a green will-powered energy bubble, following Biara's map of the underground volcanic tunnels and approach the Liberator from below.

"According to Biara's map, we're right under it."

"Boy, I hope she is right about this. I'm bakin' here."

"She's always right." A smiling Rev stated matter-of-factly before he and Kilowog raised their Green Lantern Power Rings to create a big beam of green will-powered energy that burned a huge hole at the bottom of the Liberator, allowing the Green Lanterns to disable their construct and fly up to arrive inside the Liberator as they then made their way up to arrive at the top floor and kicked the door down to see the control panel for the Liberator.

"That must be the control panel. You think you can disarm it, Rev?" Kilowog asked as, unknown to them, the Red Lanterns could be seen hiding above them in the ceiling after Red Martian grabbed Razer's left arm to camouflage them.

"I'll need a few minutes," Rev says just as Red Martian turned off his camouflage ability, allowing for him and Razer to fly down and attack the Green Lanterns as they looked shocked by their sudden appearance, and we cue back to Hal as we see him getting his shit rocked by Atrocitus as Zox flew up to try and attack him.

"Die, die, die!" Zox screamed before a deadpanned Green Lantern raised his Green Lantern Power Ring to create a bunch of green will-powered energy constructs of a mouth guard to shut him up as well as a binky and a diaper as Hal then launched him over to Atrocitus, who bitched slapped his asskisser without hesitation as he was sent flying away.

"Beware my power, asshole!" Green Lantern screamed while creating a huge spiked fist-shaped green will-powered construct as he threw it over to collide against Atrocitus to send him crashing through the wall, and we cue back to the others as we see Kilowog creating big green will-powered energy constructs of a bunch of shields layered upon each other to protect him and Rev from the Red Lanterns' attack.

"Hurry up, Rev! These guys are not playing around!"

"Keep them back, for just a couple of minutes!" Rev yelled as Razer glared at the Green Lanterns.

"This is your fault! You Green Lanterns might enjoy destroying worlds, but I do not!"

"In case you haven't been keeping up on current events, you guys put this thing here, and pressed the button! You wanna help?! Stop fighting us!" Kilowog snapped as Red Martian fumed with a small doubtful frown on his face.

"We won't listen to your lies! We'll destroy you both!" Red Martian says while sending out a telepathic wave at Kilowog, only for his mental attack to be shattered apart by the Green Lantern's mental walls as Razer creates a big red rage-powered energy whip and begins flailing it at Kilowog, who creates a big green will-powered hammer-shaped energy construct to bash his attacks away.

"Oh, yes, you are trying to stop a couple of world-ending threats by...destroying this world?! You know what you're fighting against, kids, but what are you fighting for?!" Kilowog asked as the Red Lanterns paused a bit, allowing for the Green Lantern to fly over and whack them out of the ship as he glared at them with Razer and Red Martian scowling back as they then flew away. "Dumbass kids. Anyway, where are we, Shyir? Let's have some good news."

"Detonation in thirty seconds."

"...As the Humans say it...oh, crapbaskets..." Kilowog says with a groan and facepalmed while Rev looks worried as we then see a roaring Atrocitus flying over to grapple with Hal as their Green Lantern Power Ring and Red Lantern Power Ring glow a bright green and red.

"This is disappointing! If you're the best the Guardians have, my victory is assured!" Atrocitus screamed while roaring out a big stream of red rage-powered plasma from out of his mouth that sent Green Lantern flying over to crash down into the ground and groaning in pain as Zox appeared.

"Master, the bomb is active. We need to move away." Zox warned as Atrocitus huffed but nodded as they flew away, and Hal watched them go with a glare on his face as he flew after them, and we cue back to the Green Lanterns as we see them watching on in shock and horror as the Liberator fired a huge planet-destroying laser down to ignite the plutonium, but thankfully, Rev was able to swiftly create a big will-powered energy shield with the help of his Green Lantern Power Ring to halt its attack.

"It's time to go."

"I can keep the laser from igniting the plutonium, for a little while anyway. I know what happened to Bolovax Vik. If you had a chance to save your world, what would you do?" Rev asked seriously as Kilowog frowned grimly.

"It's been an honor." Kilowog says before flying away just as the Red Lanterns appeared as they floated over to him.

"It's foolish to stay when there's no hope, Green Lantern."

"Yeah, we're dumb that way, but there is always hope," Rev says with a casual tone as he then turns to the Red Lanterns. "I know you two are not all bad. Maybe it's time you two let others know too. Anyway, you two better leave. I can handle this last part myself." Rev says as the Red Lanterns said nothing but fly off as the Green Lantern is able to hold back the laser for a few precious minutes until his green will-powered energy construct breaks apart, and the laser flies down to ignite the plutonium as the Green Lantern closes his eyes somberly, accepting his death as we cue back to an angry Hal, and we see him trying to fly towards Shard, only to watch in shock and horror as the Liberator destroyed all of Planet Colony 12 and produced a huge explosion that completely blew up the planet with Hal being barely able to put up a big green will-powered energy construct around himself to protect him from the attack as we cue back to the Shard and we see Atrocitus and Zox surveying the planet's destruction with sinister grins on their faces.

"It appears you were wrong about Razer and Red Martian."

"Never have I been so happy to be wrong. I'll have the choir scream their praises at the Rage Ceremony."

"Now that we've eliminated the Lanterns from Oa, soon this galaxy will be ours for the taking. And then the Guardians will pay for what they've done." Atrocitus says with an evil laugh while having the Shard fly away as we cue back to an unconscious Hal, and we see him floating around the rubble of the destroyed Planet Colony 12 as he groans and opens his eyes and then flinches worriedly as the Green Lantern began flying around.

"Maria? Kilowog? Rev?" Green Lantern says just as Razer appears behind him as he has a stoic glare on his face.

"They aren't here anymore," Razer says as Green Lantern freezes, processing the fact that not only were his Former Mentor, new ally, and everyone on Planet Colony 12 dead, but his own daughter, his own flesh and blood is dead too, and would never be able to see her smile or laughter again as Hal teared up and began shaking violently as the Red Lantern expected to see him break down...only to be shocked when one of the Founding Members of the Justice League whirled around to glare at him with a look of utter rage that can only belong to a pissed-off father as his eyes and whole body glowed a bright green as Hal's Green Lantern Power Ring shined brightly, resembling a huge glowing green mini sun as, suddenly, Hal Jordan created a 500-feet-tall green will-powered energy construct that resembled his body and proceeds to bitch slap him over to crash down on a multi-continental sized piece of rock, hard enough that it cracked as the Red Lantern screamed in pain.

"HOW DARE YOU?!" Green Lantern roared furiously while raising his arms and delivered a multitude of punches down at Razer with said person being unable to scream in pain and agony due to Hal throwing more and more of his giant punches until the multi-continental-sized piece of rock broke apart into a billion pieces with a heavily injured and dazed Razer floating around in the floating rubble as a scowling Hal then grabbed him with his giant left hand and used his Green Lantern Power Ring to morph his right hand into a giant green will-powered drill construct as the Red Lantern spits out blue blood and glared up at him.

"Is that the best you can do?! Do you think that will stop me?! You won't win unless you can do what is necessary! Can you do it?! Can you?! Finish it!" Razer ordered desperately with mad eyes as Hal fumed angrily and was planning to drill his body apart...but then stopped as he remembered about Maria and frowned as the Green Lantern took a deep breath and dissipated his energy construct as he floated over to the bewildered Red Lantern.

"You'd like that, wouldn't you? But you're not getting off that easy. You'll live with the consequences of what you've done. You will live knowing that you killed billions of innocent people." Green Lantern says coldly as Razer blinked in surprise before growing angry as he glared at him.

"No! You must kill me! I'm the one responsible for all this death and destruction! I deserve it!"

"Which is why we're going to help make up for it." Red Martian says guiltily while appearing before them after turning off his camouflage ability as Hal glares at him as well and turns around to float away.

"Agreed."

"Coward! Are you too weak to take your vengeance?!" Razer says with a scowl while planning to attack Green Lantern with his Red Lantern Power Ring, only to see that it is missing as Hal turns to give him a little smirk and holds up his stolen ring.

"Nice trick, huh? Learned it from Batman." Green Lantern says as Razer then screams in pain and agony as a bunch of red rage-powered energy bursts out of his body before it dissipates to reveal him in his civilian form, which consists of him wearing a brown tunic, equipped with similarly colored gauntlets and boots as well as what appears to be a skin-tight head dark gray gear that reveals his white hair, a dark gray tunic with long black sleeves, a belt bearing a Volkregian Symbol on it, and a pair of black boots. "Now, for you." Green Lantern says while turning to Red Martian, who sighs heavily as he takes off his Red Lantern Power Ring, causing him to scream in pain and agony as a bunch of red rage-powered energy bursts out of his body before it dissipates to reveal him in his civilian form, which consists of him wearing a long-sleeved purple shirt, a brown belt with a yellow belt buckle, long ripped black jeans, and a pair of white shoes. "Good." Green Lantern says before capturing both of them in a big green will-powered energy bubble as they were unable to fight back due to growing unconscious from the de-transformations. "...Oh, Maria...I'm-,"

"You're what?" Maria asked with a cheeky grin while flying onto the scene with the help of the Interceptor as Hal whirled around to glance up at it in shock, relief, and happiness.

"Maria?! You're alive!"

"Yep, while you and the others were dealing with the Red Lanterns, I had a hunch that you won't be able to stop the world ending machine, so I had Aya fly us around and had Biara and Amala tell me where the rest of the Colonists live so that we can evacuate them off world to a nearby barren planet. While we were able to successfully evacuate about 60% of the planet, we weren't able to save the 40%."

"Huh...wow, I'm surprised that we didn't think of that, but I have to ask, I'm surprised that you focused more on evacuation rather than fighting the Supervillains," Hal says as he has a surprised tone in his voice.

"Hey, you told me that if I wanted to be a hero, I need to know when to pick my battles, and I figured that saving civilians is more important than fighting bad guys."

"Well said, Jordan Junior," Kilowog says with a proud tone while floating onto the scene as he uses his Green Lantern Power Ring to create a football stadium-sized green energy bubble that contains a lot of Colonists.

"You gonna help me with this, hotshot? I followed your Daughter's plan and I got a lot of the colonists out before the big bang, but my ring is running low." Kilowog says as Hal grins, happy that his Daughter and Former Mentor are alive and well. "Hey, what are they doing inside that bubble?" An angry Kilowog asked as he glared over at a trapped and unconscious Razer and Ma'rkus.

"Never mind them. You are a sight for sore eyes. You too, Maria and Aya, but what about Rev? Did he make it?" Green Lantern asked concernedly just as Shyir Rev's Green Lantern Power Ring flew past them to find a new wielder as everyone grew solemn by this, and we then fast forward in time to appear at the barren planet from where Maria and the others had safely evacuated a lot of Colonists to as we see the Green Lanterns, Maria, Biara, and Amala standing on a huge cliff overlooking the civilians as the Interceptor was parked near them.

"I hope everyone knows the sacrifice Shyir made."

"They do. The elders are going to name our new planet after him." Biara says somberly with teary eyes as Hal turns to a crying and sniffling Amala.

"Your daddy was very brave, Amala. He saved us all."

"Is it okay if I still miss him?"

"Yeah. We all will." Maria says sadly as Biara gives them a thankful look and walks off to comfort her Daughter.

"You know, Shyir really did save them all. He asked me what I'd do if I had another chance to save my own planet, and that's when it hit me, I'd save the people."

"At least one of us got it right." Green Lantern says bitterly as we then fast forward in time, and we see the gang hanging inside of the Interceptor as they are currently flying through space.

"The cooling system is now functional. Continuing repairs."

"So, what's next?" Kilowog asked as Hal turned to him seriously.

"Next, we find the Red Lanterns."

"Just how are we gonna stop who knows how many super-powered Red Lanterns with just the two of us?"

"Ahem."

"Okay, the three of us." Kilowog corrected as Maria turned to him.

"That's a really good question, Uncle Kilowog, but what should we do with the two that we had captured?" Maria asked while gesturing over at the De-Powered Red Lanterns, who were now trapped inside of a cell with Ma'rkus wearing a pair of cuffs that limited his Martian Abilities as Razer had a stoic scowl on his face.
