Battle of the Falls
Chapter 12: Shadows of the Past

Bill Hawk Moth's Next Move
Deep within the endless void of Bill Cipher's personal dimension, a golden pyramid-shaped entity cackled with glee as he floated above a massive, glowing eye. His energy pulsed through the realm, creating ripples of distorted reality. Across from him, standing tall in his pristine suit, was Gabriel Agreste—Hawk Moth—his arms crossed in frustration.
Bill spun in midair. "WELL, WELL, WELL! THAT COULD'VE GONE BETTER! WHO KNEW THAT SOOS HAD THAT MUCH WILLPOWER?" He flipped upside down, grinning wildly. "I SURE DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING! HA!"
Gabriel narrowed his eyes. "Your enhancements made the Akuma stronger than ever, and yet, we still lost." His voice was sharp, controlled. "This isn't working."
Bill snorted. "OH, COME ON, GABBY! DON'T BE SUCH A DEBBIE DOWNER! SOOS WAS JUST A TEST RUN! A WARM-UP MATCH!" He snapped his fingers, and a floating chessboard appeared, pieces shifting on their own. "BESIDES, WE'VE GOT PLENTY OF OPTIONS! MAYBE WE TRY ANOTHER HOST? OR HEY, WHY NOT GO BIG AND JUST TEAR OPEN REALITY?"
Gabriel's face remained stoic. "We need a more precise strategy. The Miraculouses are still out of reach, and Ladybug and Chat Noir are more protected than ever." He turned toward a darkened portal, displaying Gravity Falls and the Mystery Shack. "However… the children are vulnerable. If we strike at the right moment, we can break them."
Bill's single eye twitched with amusement. "OOOOH, I LIKE THE WAY YOU THINK! MENTAL TORTURE! MY FAVORITE!" He waved his hand, and shadows coiled around them. "TIME TO CRANK UP THE CHAOS!"

Ford Stan's Emergency Preparations
Inside Old Man McGucket's cabin, Ford and Stan Pines stood in front of a large wooden table, maps and blueprints spread out before them. A single lantern flickered, casting long shadows on the walls.
"This is worse than I thought," Ford muttered, running a hand through his gray hair. "Bill is directly enhancing Hawk Moth's power. That means his Akumatized victims will be stronger, more unpredictable."
Stan huffed, arms crossed. "So what do we do? Just sit here and hope they don't turn one of us next?"
McGucket, who had been listening quietly, slammed his hands on the table. "No sir-ee! We reinforce! Make sure that weird pyramid fella don't stand a chance at warpin' reality in our backyard!"
Ford nodded. "Agreed. We need countermeasures. I'll enhance the Shack's defenses with my dimensional blockers."
Stan cracked his knuckles. "And I'll make sure the kids know how to fight back."
McGucket grinned. "And I got some good ol'-fashioned ANTI-WEIRDNESS GADGETS I been workin' on!"
Ford looked at his brother. "Stan, this isn't just a fight for Gravity Falls anymore. If Bill gets his hands on the Miraculouses, reality itself could collapse."
Stan sighed. "Then we better make damn sure that doesn't happen."

Aftermath of the Confessions
Lincoln Ronnie Anne
Outside the Shack, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne sat together on the porch steps. The adrenaline of battle had faded, leaving only the reality of what had happened between them.
Ronnie Anne crossed her arms. "So… that happened."
Lincoln chuckled nervously. "Yeah… we kinda kissed."
Ronnie Anne smirked. "Kinda? Loud, that was a real kiss."
Lincoln rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, I guess it was."
She bumped his shoulder. "So… what now?"
Lincoln met her gaze. "Well, I guess we could… try this?" He gestured between them. "Us?"
Ronnie Anne's smirk softened. "I'd like that."
She reached out, and Lincoln took her hand.

Star Marco
Inside the Shack, Star twirled her wand in her fingers as she sat across from Marco.
"So, uh…" Marco began, rubbing the back of his head. "We really just said it, huh?"
Star grinned. "Yeah. We finally stopped dancing around it."
Marco smiled. "I'm glad we did."
She reached out, fingers intertwining with his.
"No more running," she whispered.
"No more running," he agreed.

Dipper Pacifica
Pacifica leaned against the Mystery Shack's balcony, arms crossed. Dipper stood beside her, fidgeting slightly.
"So," she said. "We're, uh… doing this."
Dipper nodded. "Yeah. We are."
Pacifica smirked. "Took you long enough to notice me, Pine Tree."
Dipper chuckled. "Hey, I noticed."
She rolled her eyes playfully. "Sure you did."
He reached over and took her hand.
"I notice everything about you," he said softly.
Pacifica blinked. Then, she squeezed his hand back.

Marinette Adrien
On the Shack's rooftop, Marinette and Adrien sat side by side, watching the stars.
Marinette sighed. "This… doesn't feel real."
Adrien smiled. "It is, though."
She glanced at him. "And you're sure?"
Adrien turned, taking her hand in his. "Marinette, I've never been more sure about anything."
Her heart fluttered.
Then, she leaned her head against his shoulder, and he wrapped his arm around her.
For the first time in a long while… everything felt right.

Miraculous Team Training Begins
The next morning, Ladybug stood before the assembled heroes, her Miracle Box open.
"From this point forward, we're not just a team," she said. "We're a Miraculous Order."
The newly chosen Miraculous holders stood tall:
Alya (Rena Rouge) – Master of Illusions
Jackie (Carapace) – The Unbreakable Shield
Mabel (Cochenne) – Spreading Joy
Paige (Rooster Bold) – Precision Strategy
Janna (King Monkey) – Chaos Unleashed
Marco (Minotaurox) – The Unstoppable Force
Pacifica (Vesperia) – Speed Precision
Lincoln (Caprikid) – Creativity Ingenuity
Dipper (Lupus Guardian) – The Tracker
Felix (Argos) – The Game Master
Each hero trained with their powers, learning to work in perfect sync.
They weren't just fighting for Gravity Falls anymore.
They were fighting for the world.

A Warning from the Past
That night, a storm rolled in. Thunder cracked across the sky.
Then, the cabin door burst open.
McGucket stood there, soaked from the rain, eyes wide.
"We're in trouble," he gasped. "Big trouble."
Ford stepped forward. "McGucket? What's wrong?"
The old man swallowed hard.
"I just had a vision. And if we don't stop what's comin'… there ain't gonna be a world left to save."
Silence fell over the room.
Then, Ford clenched his fist.
"Then we prepare for war."
