Avrail went out side to get the news paper. When she came back in Mike was playing with the baby, he had been crawling before she left the room. She opened the news paper and saw that there was a bear spotted in the Forrest. She told Mike about the bear and he said that he heard of bears going in the Forrest. She went to the sink to wash the baby's teeth toy, then went to give it the baby.
They were on the way to Seattle to go shopping for Terran's birthday party. Avrail watched as Mike turned into the parking lot by the first store. The first stop was for a cake that she wanted to order, she was thinking of a baby rattle shaped cake, with blue frosting. They went into the shop, and where given some samples of the cake, Terran tried the vanilla sprinkled cake, and the vanilla whipped cream cake. He liked the first one the best, so she asked Mike what he thought, and he said that he also liked the vanilla sprinkled cake. Avrail put in the order and they would pick it up a day before his birthday. His birthday was on October 22, so they would pick it up on October 21st.
They went to the cloths store next, to find him a birthday boy suit. Avrail found a white two piece jeans and jacket, that she liked and Mike said that it was a nice choice. She had picked out decoration online, so they should be in by the birthday party.
After shopping they drove back to Forks.
The next day Avrail took Terran to go visit Eda. When she arrived at Eda's house, she knocked on the door, and Eda answered. She commented on how big the baby was getting, then invited her into the house. Eda lead her to the back patio, then sat in a chair, while Avrail sat on the love seat. Eda asked avrail if she would a drink from the pitcher on the end table. Avrail said thank you, and poured a drink. Eda said she had some news for her, and Avrail asked what kind of news. Eda said, the good kind of news. She ten said that she thought she saw her cousin in the supermarket the week before. Avrail asked, did you say anything to her. Eda replied, no she didn't, and she thought after the vampire change she didn't make it, but she was sure it was her. Avrail told Eda she had some news too. Avrail continued with, she had tried a vampire defender drug, and it worked. Eda said that was good news. Avrail told her that her senses were amazing like cold she was reactive to. Avrail took a ice cube out of her cup and showed her how her hand pebbles averted the ice cube. Avrail told Eda she also had a strength shift in her motion, so she pushed something with a lightness. Avrail flicked a napkin and it floated into the air. Eda said that it was good that the doctors were able to come up with the drug.
After leaving Eda's house, Avrail went back home. After walking through the door, she saw Mike, he reached for the baby, and Avrail handed him to him. They went outside to the fire pit, it was warm, since MIke was out there already. After sitting down, she watched the flame go strong, and was happy to relate the strength to her life.
