If you're not up to date with what is released in the anime by mid-2019 this is full of spoilers for you, although none of this is canon. The great Oda has created the entire world of One Piece, I've only used his characters to create this shitpost, so, all the COPYRIGHT goes to him. This fanfic is about romance between girls, that is, BM and you (in case of not being a girl, you have to imagine that you are one). Last warning: if you are homophobic, you are a piece of shit.*
"Damn brat..." she repeated to herself after having threatened Straw Hat and hanging up the phone, angry.
Her mouth drooled acid as she stood up on her couch and prepared to get up. Her children and homies have the same complete horror on their faces that you were feeling as well. Mom was furious and her eyes were filled with rage. You all feared that she was going to lose her mind again. And suddenly, in the midst of the immense silence, that characteristic laugh began to emerge.
"MAMAMAMA! How dare he eat my candy? That brat is as brave as he is stupid. It will be a pleasure to finish him off." During a pause of about five seconds, her mocking face changed to a serious one and she demanded that Streusen make her the most delicious croquembouche he had ever created and that everyone left the room with him.
"Except (you)."
You knew it. She did everything she could to be alone with you. Now that she could no longer have children and had finally gotten rid of all the poor devils who had laid with her, she sought your company more than ever. Being on her side was much more beneficial to you than being against her and after all she hadn't treated you badly (not you yourself, at least), even though your discrepancies were well known.
You disagreed with her policies in the kingdom and her treatment of the rest of the population. You had seen how she had eaten one of her own children in one of these moments where she was no longer herself. No one in all of Totto Land disagreed with her or raised their voice at her. She seemed to feed not only on the tons of food she ate but also on this fear that her citizens had of her.
You, within your possibilities as a person who had her on her side, did everything to make her see that her tyranny was more than criticizable. She didn't need to subdue her entire population, her entire band, her family and the men who loved her to be a good leader. Of course, given her nature as a dickhead she didn't pay you the slightest attention. She usually laughed at your attempts of changing her mind, other times she remained silent, but you didn't abandon your mission. You didn't know what had led her to be the way she went about you. You simply attributed it to a difficult past like most of the people you had met in the New World.
"What do you want, Linlin?" you asked her.
"Your company, (you). At least you're not a bootlicker like all of these morons I just kicked out" she said.
"Those morons are your children, people who worship you because you don't leave them any more options" you said without thinking too much. You studied her features, looking for a sign that would tell you if you should run away.
"I imagine you think I like to leave people without options. Like when I demand that they pay me the soul tax so they can live under my protection or that they follow me to the battles I fight." Her neutral tone didn't betray what she felt. "Just so you know, they are free to leave whenever they want and face my justice. I don't force anyone to be my lapdog, but there are those who prefer it to emigrating elsewhere or facing death. I always allow them to choose between at least two options and those who prefer to stay by my side will do so for a reason."
"You give them options within the framework of your authority. I have seen you apply your justice and there is nothing fair about it. I have seen you demand the souls of the mothers of those who dared exile themselves to instill fear in your population. They have all chosen survival under your command over the death of their mothers because there are people who love the women that birthed them, unlike the children of Iknowwho. By doing these things you do nothing but coerce us into staying with you. You know that without coercion you would be the most lonely person on the planet." You did not have a mother for whom to feel fear, you only had yourself and you were tired of arguing with the wall every time the damn subject came up. "If you don't want to see it, it is no one else's issue. Keep your population happy and they will follow you. Frighten them and they will rebel against you, thousandth's warning."
You turned your back on her and prepared to leave before she ate you right then and there.
"I understand your reluctance. I don't look like a good empress, but it's not true that I'm not one, either. I remind you that many of the vile actions I do are done against my own will, completely unconsciously. I would like you to at least admit that." She blushed while she spoke. You had never seen Charlotte LinLin blush.
"If you only did vile actions when you are in your unconscious mode, I'd buy it. However, I'm afraid that's not the case and your excuses are worthless to me if, after thousands of conversations we've had, you still haven't changed your terror policies. I'm leaving this country, I'm done. Find me, torture me, steal my soul, do whatever you want, but you're not going to stop me. I don't plan on being part of this pirate gang for one more day. I thought you could be fixed, LinLin, but I see that your eternal excuses only allow you indefinite comfort. I hope Kaido finds you and you'll one another. Goodbye." you said.
You didn't care at all that she could kill you, as she probably would, after bombarding her with so many truths as you had just done. You valued your life. You had promised yourself not to continue with her if she didn't change her ways and you had already been in her gang for a couple of years. In all these years, the only thing that had changed was her treatment of you, but you couldn't stand the constant submission to the rest.
If she continues to treat her own children like this, no, she's definitely beyond repair. I did well telling her what I think. Maybe when I'm gone she'll start to think things over. When you went to open the door-homie it wouldn't budge. The face emerged.
"No one leaves here until you've sorted out your differences, hahahahaha" he said, mocking you, in your face.
"LinLin, what kind of joke is this? I told you to do whatever you want to me, but I'm leaving. Even if it's hammering on this fucking live-door. In fact, your entire country is a macabre scene! You're constantly watching people! You're a tyrant, LinLin, let me out!" you screamed towards the door, already completely unhinged, as you tried to force the knob.
After realizing that the doorknob wasn't going to budge, you began to pound on the door itself with your fists and legs. After that, you were about to draw your sword from your belt when, suddenly, Big Mom stood between you and the door, pushing you away with her massive body and causing you to fall on your ass to the ground. Your already drawn sword had made a cut in the fabric of her dress and the skin of her belly, without providing a single scratch to the latter. It was a steel ball that you would never be able to defeat... and with that thought, tears surfaced.
