– « What? »

– « I understood, but what do you mean?»
– « Rory, come on, wake up, you are NOT understanding!»
– « For God's sake, Finnegan Charles Morgan it's 4 a.m in Denver, why you are not sleeping?»
– « I am in Greece. »
– « Excuse me?»
– « I had a business deal here and decided to spent a few days in Greece, right now I am on an island Skopelos, it's 14:00 p.m, sorry Loove I forgot about time difference»
– « Okey, now I am understanding what's going on, but what you wanted to say with "The Great Gatsby"?»
– « You remember about my Halloween party? I am throwing it in New Orleans! And party theme is going to be "The Great Gatsby"!»
– « Oh my goodness, are you serious? New Orleans? Why? And in 20s style?»
– « Well, I decided to try to do my Halloween parties in different cities, I throwed them for a few years in New Heaven, our gape years one was in Sydney, after graduation one was in New York, you remember it? And now I want one in New Orleans. So I am waiting you and our lover boy on your best behaviour on Wednesday, October 31 at 7 p.m, but you are requested to be in the city before noon and I am going to sent invitations for your girls too, should I include Lane with her husband?»
– « My girls? » Rory chuckled.
– « Paris, Olive, that beautiful actress Lucy and Lane.»
– « Yeah, you can try to invite all of them, but I don't know will they show up or no. »
– « Okey, bye Loove, I'll see you in 2 weeks»
– « Bye Finny and don't dare ever again to wake me up at 4 a.m!»

It was 10 a.m when Rory landed in New Orleans airport, if somebody would told her 5 years ago, that she will fly through whole country just for one day party, she would answer that they are crazy and that she would never do something like that. But here we are today, she is in New Orleans for 24 hours for a Gatsby theme party. And again she jumped in Logan's arms in airport, he was already in city for last two hours.
– « Ace, airports are definitely our most epic places for reunions.»
– « Well, we always miss eachother and when we see eachother it's mostly in airports across the world, because of somebody always likes to pick me up» Rory said with a smile on her face.
– « Really? Who is that somebody? With whom I have to fight for my girl?» they laughed.
– « What is our agenda for next 24 hours?»
– « Girls are stealing you from me and Finn is stealing me for a poker game, but we are going to meet in our hotel suit somewhere around six.»
– « Have I to ask who are here?»
– « You won't believe me, everyone except Lane and Zack where able to come.»
– « Wow, even Paris Geller herself is in town only for a party, that's something new. I assume I have to pick up a costume for you too?»
– « Well, if we want us to be matching, than yes Ms Gilmore, you are the one who'll need to choose it, but if you want I can come with you?»
– « Oh noo, thanks, I don't want to listen for next few months Finns whines, because of the fact that you abandoned them for me»
– « Ace, you know right that...»
– « Logan, I am just kidding, but really I can pick our costumes by myself.» after that they continued to chat before their arrival in hotel. Just they checked in and entered their room, there was a knock on their door.
– « Come in»
– « Hello our long lost couple» Stephanie said with a smile on her face «Ror I missed you, I haven't seen you for last half year, how are you darling?» she said while hugging Rory.
– « Hi Steph, I missed you too, I am good and how are you?»
– « Same here.»
– « Hey you too Ms Berkshire, I see how you missed me too» Logan said while was trying to hide his laugh.
– « Yeah, yeah, yeah I am happy that you missed me Loggie» she said and they all laughed. « I entered your room with a purpose, it's time to go, at first we with our inner circle are going to have a lunch, next we are separating from boys and going in costume store, they already know that we are going to be jazz girls from 20s' and for next we have already booked beauty salon across the street.»
After full of joy and laugh lunch girls went on with their plans. They were in a huge, but at the same time cozy costume store and started looking for dresses. 40 minutes later Rory found a costume with which she fell in love, it was navy blue silk ballerina length dress, neckline was ending above her chest and straps were thin with silver lines and chest area as a bottom area also had silver lines. With dress were coming matching silver glitter high pumps, matching long silver gloves, glitter clutch, headband with feathers and long pearl necklace alongside with drop earrings. After finding her costume, she easily found one for Logan, silver one with matching navy blue shirt and navy blue shoes and oh yeas, of course navy blue handkerchief.
It was 6 p.m when Logan and Rory met in hotel suit, he was send in another room to change, with promise to don't look, while Rory was putting her outfit, thanks god her makeup and hair were done in beauty salon or otherwise she had no idea, how she was going to be on time. When Logan saw her, he was speechless, he just stood there and was watching at Rory.
– « Hellooo, Earth is calling to Logan» Rory laughed.
– « Wow, Ace, wow, have I told you today they you are the most beautiful woman in the world » he said while was putting his hands on her waist.
– « Nope, I think you haven't mentioned that» Rory said and kissed him on cheek.
– « My bad, but Ace seriously you always look fascinated, but this style is so perfect on you»
– « Thank you, you are also looking not that bad.»
Party was held in a bar which was near Mississippi River Delta, with a beautiful terrace from where was an amazing view. When they arrived Logan took them right at a terrace. Rory noticed, that there was nobody, she looked at Logan puzzled, she definitely remembered that party was starting at 7 a.m, maybe they had a wrong address? But no, everything is decorated in «The Great Gatsby» style.
– « Logan what's going on?»
What's going on? The thing is, that Logan actually arrived in New Orleans yesterday to control the set up of the party and today boys really played poker, but he wasn't with them, he was again here taking control of everything. Why he put so much effort in Finns Halloween party? Well, maybe it's not just Finns party. When Rory gave him greenlight, Logan was over the moon, he actually already had a ring, a new ring, but was afraid of her reaction. Yes, he bought new one, he decided that previous one was a reminder of first failed try. New one was round center engagement ring with aquamarine and marquise diamond petals on a knife edge band. And of course Logan is learning from his previous mistakes, party is starting at 8 p.m, their friends will arrive at 7:30 p.m, right now here were only him and Rory with stuff.
Logan took her hand and walked with her to the middle of the terrace. Rory heard how «Moon river» started to play.
– « Ace, Rory you are the most amazing person whom I ever met, you are beautiful, smart, funny, intelligent, incredibly interesting, special, not like stop eating the paste special, you are special as the only person in this world who truly knows me and whom I know. When I first met you in hallway I was in such a shock after our conversation, next every time when I was meeting you, I was so confused, I wasn't understanding what's going on with me, why I do care so much about you, at your grandparents wedding vows renewal we danced for the first time and came to conclusion to start dating casually and I honestly thought that it's it, that I'll get over you, but when I saw you with Robert at Finn's birthday party I freaked out and it just clicked in my mind, that I hate to see you with somebody else and after your suggestion to just be friends I understood that I don't see myself without you anymore, yeah maybe I needed time to understand that this is love, but from the beginning I was understanding, that this something new, something what I have never felt before and you said that you for the first time loudly admitted that I am right person for you at our valentine's day celebration 2006, well I did it at Finn's Halloween party in 2005, yeah for that time I haven't admitted that I love you, but I told to Colin that I don't need to meet anybody else at this party, that I already found my person. Ace I love you and I want to spend my life with, I want to come home to you, I want to know, that my morning obligation is to make you coffee, to check up on you for you to not overwork, I want to have kids and grandkids with you. Lorelai Leigh Gilmore the third, will you make me the happiest man in this world and marry me?» Logan asked on one knee.
– «Oh my God, YES! YES! YES! Logan I love you too, I would never thought that I can love somebody so much and I'll of course marry you!» Rory said with tears in her eyes and let Logan to put his ring on her finger. Right after he kissed her, embraced her and they both started to whisper to eachother how in love they are.
– « Our friends will be here in five - six minutes » Logan said and kissed Rory's forehead. She nodded and glanced at her ring.
– « It's a new ring.»
– « You just noticed?»
– « Well, I was occupied with your speech and eyes and after with your lips, so I only looked at it for a few seconds.»
– « You don't like it?»
– « What? No! I love it, Logan this ring is amazing, I would chose something like this by myself, I just wanted to say, that previous one was also amazing and that this is showing that you know me so well, you choosed two different rings for me and both of them were absolutely gorgeous and in my style, but yeah honestly this is one is somehow already seems for me as the best in the world.» Rory said and hugged him, after what she continued «Where is our photographer, I know that he took a lot of photos in the moment, but I want a few pictures where we will pose, lately after conversation with Emily Gilmore you'll thank me.» they laughed at this statement.
They took a few photos before their friends arrival. When they walked in, they all carefully and maybe a little bit scared looked at them.
– « I proposed to Rory, again» Logan chuckled.
– « And this time, I said YES.» Rory added and showed her hand with a ring on it.
Whole crowed started cheering and congratulating, Honor was the first one ro reach towards them.
– « Baby brother you finally did it! And Rory welcome in the family, or to be more right welcome in sane team of our family, I am so happy that my brother founded you in his life»
– « Welcome in our team Rory and welcome in our group man, I am always open for advices » Josh added.
Behind them Rory noticed Lane
– « Oh my God, Lane what are you doing here ? How?»
– « All accomodations to your fiancé.» she said and hugged her.
– « Oh yeah, our London boy is not anymore the BOYFRIEND, he is now the FIANCÉ!» Olive said and started to congratulate them.
– « Hello the fiancé» Lucy screamed and jumped on them with hugs.
– « Well, look at you Huntzberger, she actually decided to marry you, but do no forget that I do know how to fight in many ways» Paris said and congratulates them
At this moment they saw how Colin, Robert and Seth all gave for a thousand dollars to Finn.
– « Hey, what are they doing?»
– « Oh my goodness, guys you fucking didn't had a bet on us or did you?»
– « A bet?»
– « Okey just calm down everybody, we justed joked » Seth said.
– « The thing was, that after you two were back together we were curious when the question will come and when Rory will answer yes» Robert added.
– « Oh and what suggestions you guys had?» Logan asked
– « We were counting since the day you announced that you are back together, Finn suggested from one month to three months, Seths one was that in 6 months, Colin gave a year and I said 2 years.» Robert added
– « Colin really? A year? And you Robert? Two?» Logan chuckled.
– «Well, I am now actually afraid of both you.» Colin said, Robert nodded and they all laughed.
For 8 p.m all other guests arrived at the party and guys had an amazing time there.
