woven.ruiz: Well, if the isekai'd could help others improve, why not?
Fatah D Astraf: No problem. *thumbs up*
Reader20448: I…didn't consider the possibility of new siblings. Also, Izuku unlocks Fa Jin in chapter 30.
At the Press Box
Aizawa watches as his former class crosses the finish line with the biggest smile on their faces while feeling regretful. His former students improved greatly under Hound Dog's tutelage and even worked together to achieve their goals, fully living up to their potential. He can't help but think how much of a failure he was to be unable to do such things.
When he first talks with Nedzu after waking up from the beatdown he received from the monster, Nedzu shows him the entire list of the students he had kicked out of hero courses permanently and even the students that returned to the course after showing that they're taking heroics seriously. He had never expected to find out how terrible it affected his former students.
Most of them still have black marks on their academic records, which leads to issues when looking for internships, sidekick positions for any heroes, or even normal jobs. A black mark from the UA Hero course is literally a death sign for the students as no one is willing to accept those students. The moment the employers see that black mark, the first thought that comes to their mind is that 'no way they're accepting someone who did something that gets them a black mark from the world's most prestigious school'.
After hearing this, Aizawa felt his stomach drop like a meteor from outer space. Then, Nedzu displays reports of every student he didn't get to save from such terrible fate as being a principal and the new head of HPSC, he can't track every 179 students that Aizawa had kicked out or expelled over the years. 48 of the students committed suicide, 79 of them disappeared from the face of the earth, 49 students were arrested and in prohibitions, and 3 confirmed to be allied with the League of Villains.
For the first time since his second year at UA, he cried with a heart filled with guilt and regret.
After that, Nedzu told Aizawa that he would no longer be the homeroom teacher and get proper help from Hound Dog, to which Aizawa agreed without any complaint. So, he got proper therapy, and his friends, Present Mic and Midnight stayed by his side to help him, something that Aizawa was grateful for. He believed that he took their friendship for granted, so he did everything to fix that. He still feels annoyed by Midnight's and Present Mic's antics, given how he receives the full brunt of second-hand embarrassment whenever they do, but he tries to not be harsh or rude when he feels that way.
He admits that he missed the time the three of them hung out like actual friends instead of acting like co-workers, which made him worried that the students might develop such mindsets because of him. Thankfully, whenever the three of them hang out, they keep seeing the kids truly having fun. He is glad that they disregard his advice regarding making friends and hanging out, but at the same time, it feels like a slap in his face. The sheer irony of him advising them against having fun, yet he ends up becoming a complete hypocrite, realizing how much he messed up.
"Hey, Sho?" Aizawa turns to see his friend, Present Mic, or Hizashi Yamada, look at him with a grin. "How do you feel about your old class dominating the match?"
"….If you're expecting me to be proud of the kids, you should forget it," Aizawa says before looking at Class 1-A cheering happily. "I don't have the privilege to do so, you should ask Hound Dog about it."
"…you're being too harsh on yourself, Sho," Yamada says while resting his head on his hand. "I know you were not teaching them for long, but you believed in them since day 1."
"….I fucked up, Hizashi." Present Mic looks at his friend giving a regretful look. "Everything….they could be avoided if I did a better job as a teacher….so, I have no right to be either proud or happy for their success…..Oboro must've been rolling in his grave after seeing me like this."
"….nah, he would give a goofy grin and say 'Cheer up, at least you admit making mistakes and try to fix this. I'll help you go through all of this, so do your best at recovering!'." Yamada made a perfect imitation of his old friend as Aizawa snorted, holding himself from chuckling.
"Yeah…" Aizawa hid his sad smile with his scarf. "…he would love to meet them and teach the kids,"
"Aye, he will," Yamada says with a grin before he looks at the last student who crosses the finish line. "Ah, they're all here. We can continue,"
"Please tone down your voice," Aizawa says, a hint of exasperation in his voice, but Present Mic merely grins at him, making Aizawa sigh.
At the VIP Booth
"My boy!" Inko cheers as tears comically burst from her eyes like a fountain. The heroes there frantically try to calm her down while at the same time, opening the window to prevent flooding.
"Y-Yagi, your girlfriend's quirk has gone out of control!" Vlad King exclaims. "G-get Eraserhead!"
"I-It's not her quirk! Her quirk is Attraction of Small Object!" Toshinori grunts as he endures the full blast of tears hitting his face.
"That can't be right!" Midnight look at Toshinori in disbelief. If not for the situation, she would've teased Toshinori for not denying Inko is his girlfriend.
"…." Himiko dryly stared at the stadium as she chewed her hot dog with blood sausage while slurping a cup filled with blood, ignoring the madness that was happening right now. Eri is sitting on Himiko's shoulder while munching her hot dog, completely avoiding the tears slowly flooding the booth.
"I know Izuku once mentioned Inko-san could literally cry a river, but witnessing myself is a completely different thing," Hackmon mutters as he manages to climb on the ceiling.
"Yahoo!" Gammamon cheers as he swims around with the brightest smile humankind has ever witnessed.
"…." Falcomon sits on the ceiling and looks so done with everything, regretting ever coming here. Gran is next to him cackling like a madman, much to Falcomon's chagrin. Kota never looked so confused before, wondering how Aniki's mom had two different quirks while Mandalay did her best to keep Kota from drowning by Inko's tears.
Back with Everyone
"…." Izuku sweatdrops as he sees water leaking from the VIP Booth. He had zero doubts that his mom was the reason behind the water in the VIP Booth. He had honestly forgotten he and his mom could done that since it's been a while since he and his mom cried like that.
"Is…is there some sort of faulty pipe in the VIP Booth?" Yaomomo asks in surprise as she wipes the sweat off her forehead.
"No…it's not," Izuku mutters.
"How do you know, Izu-bro?" Eijirou asks while raising his eyebrow.
"I….just do," Izuku says, refusing to elaborate.
"Oh, look. The 50th rank has just crossed the line." Ochako exclaims.
'Wait, wait, 50th!?' Izuku did a double take and looked at the leaderboard, and sure enough, there were 50 students on the leaderboard. He furrowed his brow, wondering what else had changed.
"I thought there would be 42…" Hanzo mutters, standing next to Tokoyami while drinking water.
"So…another change?" Takechi whispers at Hanzo, who merely nods.

Izuku blinks at how much different the leaderboard is compared to the canon timeline. Then again, the majority of Class 1-B didn't agree with Monoma's so-called tactic where they all had to hold back in the first two events. It's kinda ironic since he desires to get Class 1-B to be recognized as a superior class, yet he chooses to hold back.
Turns out that Class 1-B all agreed to team up in some ways, like Kuroiro hiding in Ibara's shadow and Tokage splitting her body up before slipping into Ibara's hair, hitching a ride. Miles, Mei, and Kenzo both use similar ideas as they all use jetpacks, which seems unoriginal but if it works, it works. Jurota and Okami both use the raw power and speed of their transformation to run, both of them are overwhelmed by instinct and try to assert dominance in the race, much to Michiru's and Kendo's amusement.
If it wasn't for Izuku's trick, Komori might've got a higher rank as she rides on Sato's back. Speaking of ranking, it's a surprise to see Bakugou get much lower ranking, but turns out, he got hit with the full brunt of the shockwave created by Izuku's Gearshift when he attempts to hit Izuku. So, it's the ultimate karma for him. Then, there's Hitoshi Shinsou who barely got in, completely overwhelmed by everyone's competitive spirits and determination to be better. Izuku notes that despite their ranking, all of them were reaching for the higher rank when reaching for the finish line, almost crowding the path like at the starting line.
"It seems that everyone has truly taken Midoriya's speech to heart, I have never seen a bunch of students so desperate to reach the finish line in every UA Sports Festival!" Izuku noticed the majority of students were blushing while looking away sheepishly. "Bah, nothing to be ashamed of! It's one thrilling race, I have to tell you! All of you did a very good job!"
"Thank you for the commentators, Present Mic. Anyways, the top 50 of the qualifying round will move on to our next round," Snipe said as he adjusted the microphone. "Those who were at lower ranking, do not worry as we have another way to let you all show what you've got. But for now, let us begin with our main selection!"
As Snipe said this, the crowd cheered and the students excitedly waited for the next round. Then, a giant hologram of a roulette wheel made its appearance once more as it started spinning. Then, it starts to slow down before the arrow points at one section.
[Cavalry Battle]
'Well, another thing that stays the same…' Izuku and Hanzo thought in unison.
"Cavalry battle…" Kaminari mutters, slightly confused.
"So, a team battle…but, how does it work?" Tsuyu asks as she tilts her head curiously.
"In this round, students will make a group of 2 to 5 members and they will be in horse-and-rider positions. The rules are the same as the normal cavalry battle, snag your opponent's headband and guard your own. But, unlike normal, each of you is assigned a point of your own based on your performance in the previous round." Snipe explained.
"Huh, sounds like the entrance exam." Satou mused as Komori looked nervous.
"Meh, I don't care about it that much…" Shirou mutters under his breath before giving Michiru a side glance. "I still can't believe you dragged me into this,"
"Come on, our first-year representative practically ask us to give it our all! And we should!" Michiru says with a cheeky grin, only to be met with Shirou's deadpan expression.
"Anyways," Snipe clears his throat to gain everyone's attention. "Your individual point value will start at 5, so the student in 50th rank will start at 5 points, then followed up with 10 for 49th, and so on. But, for the 1st place participant, he will get 10 million points!"
In an instant, Izuku feels a piercing glance from the majority of contestants, especially from Todoroki, Bakugou, Monoma, and Harumi (Still has zero ideas what's the deal with that bitch and he doubts he'll ever find out.) Izuku takes a deep breath before looking at everyone with a cold expression, a slight spark of Conqueror Haki leaking out of him. This made everyone flinch and take a step back.
'If I never got my memories back, I would be overwhelmed.' Izuku thought before calming himself down.
"This match will last for 15 minutes and each team's points will be determined by their team members. The rider wears the headband displaying the total points of your team. All of you will keep the point in your grasp until the match ends. The headbands that you got will be placed on your neck or higher, but the more you got, the harder you will manage." Snipe explained. "Also, even if your headband is stolen and your formation is broken, it's not over until the match is truly over."
"If that's true, then we can continue and claim back our points!" Mina exclaims.
"If we calculate the number of contestants into teams, then there would be 10 to 15 people in the arena." Momo mused. "Not to mention, with such limited time, we need to be extra careful against all 9 to 14 teams attempting to steal your headband. I can't imagine the pressure we all had to deal with."
"Indeed, Kero. One slip-up and your headband will disappear right before your eyes." Tsuyu says.
"Quirks are allowed in this battle, so this will be a brutal one. But, make sure none of you attempt to harm your opponent with malicious intent, or else you'll get booted out of the match!" Snipe added. "You got 15 minutes to form a team, starting now!" The moment he finishes, the hologram turns into a large screen with 15 15-minute timer displayed on it.
'And the hardest part of the battle had started. Given how high my points are, everyone will avoid me like a plague. Well, time to work-!' Izuku's train of thought hits the brake when Eijirou immediately jumps in front of him with the biggest grin on his face.
"Izu-bro, let me join your team!" Eijirou exclaims.
"Let me in too!" Ochako exclaims.
"Me three!" Miles exclaims as he rushes towards Izuku.
'… Seriously, did I get turned into Mary Sue!? Or is it Gary Stu since I'm a guy? I am weirded out by this.' Izuku shakes off his thoughts. "A-are you guys sure, I mean, I have the biggest target on my back and everyone's targeting us."
"Bro, I would be an unmanly friend if I left my friends to fend for themselves!" Eijirou says with a grin.
"Besides, it's much better to work with friends, and given how we trained together, we will know each other's moves and strategize easily!" Ochako stated before rubbing the back of her head. "Also….I rather if I don't leave you alone again…"
"…." Eijirou's grin dropped before both he and Miles seemed a bit guilty, for different reasons. Izuku let out a sigh before karate-chopped both of their foreheads.
"Enough with the guilt already. It was my choice to rush off and get injured, so don't blame yourself anymore." Izuku says before smiling. "But, thanks. I…expect you guys to look for another team given the target on my back."
"No way!" Both Eijirou, Ochako, and Miles exclaim in unison.
"….you guys are the best," Izuku says softly, wiping off the tears that escaped from his eyes before giving them a wide grin. "Okay, before we plan, let's seek our next teammate."
"U-Um," The four of them turn to see Koda raising his hands. "I-is it okay if I join you guys?"
"…" They all nod with zero hesitation, making Koda perked up and giving them a small smile. Meanwhile, Yaomomo looked slightly disappointed when she saw others had teamed up with Izuku. She wants to join him as a way to say thanks for helping her improve with so many unknown elements she never thought existed. Sadly, she was too late on that.
"Hey, Yaomomo!" Momo blinks before turning to see Kaminari and Iida approaching her. "Hope you don't mind but wanna team up?"
"…sure," She says with a smile and nod.
"Oh, um, there's one thing that we both agreed for this match," Kaminari says, slightly nervous which makes Yaomomo tilt her head in confusion. "We're not targeting Midori-bro at all. I know it sounds dumb in competitive, but-!"
"Even better," Yaomomo exclaims, making Kaminari blink. "I was planning to join Midoriya-san to repay for his help with my quirk and training, but he already has a full team. So, this is the next best thing!"
"See? You're worried too much, Kaminari-san. She even shares the same reason with you." Iida says while adjusting his glasses, a hint of smugness in his voice.
"Oh, you don't need to rub it on my face," Kaminari groans before smiling.
"Excuse me," The three of them turn to see Tokoyami and Hanzo approaching them. "I was wondering if you still accepting team members?"
"You guys can join, but do you guys mind if-?" Kaminari was cut off by Hanzo.
"Not targeting Midoriya? Sure." Hanzo says. "Besides, I would rather face against him in finals than here." Tokoyami nods in agreement.
"Oh, cool…." Kaminari says quietly, unsure how to react. Meanwhile, Takechi is approached by Mei as he is teaming up with Tetsutetsu, Awase, and Sen. She is hoping that Takechi let her use him as a way to advertise her babies, and Takechi is too kind to decline her offer. As he tries to keep Mei from getting too close to his personal space, he notices that Shinsou, the kid who declared war on Class 1-A is walking away with Shoda, Bakugou, Aoyama, and Ojiro. All of them followed him like a mindless zombie. Takechi can't do much since Mei is keeping him busy with showcasing all the inventions and explaining how all of them work.
Mina gathers her team with Tsuyu, Tooru, Shoji, and Sero, making a strategy of having Shoji as the front horse, Tsuyu and Sero utilize their long-range quirks to steal other headbands from a distance and herself keeping everyone away from Tooru with her acids. Jirou teams up with Satou, Komori, Togeike, and Shugo, much to her surprise as she never truly interacts with any of them, yet they ask her to be part of her team. Given how everyone's having their team, Jirou didn't have much of a choice.
Back at the VIP Booth
"I'm so, so sorry." Inko lowers her head, apologizing for the mess she had caused. "I….was too emotional…"
'Understatement of the century,' Both Vlad King and Midnight thought in unison. Thankfully, Nedzu had added the water drain function to suck all of the tears. None of them know why would Nedzu add those in the first place, but they all are too grateful to complain.
At the Principal's Office, Nedzu can be seen doing his paperwork before letting out a sneeze. He looks around before shrugging and continuing with his paperwork. Being the principal of UA and head of HPSC gives him too much work.
"Don't be, it's understandable to be emotional for your son's success," Toshinori says, reassuring his girlfriend while ignoring the glances he received from his co-workers.
"Great, that idiot now has a big target," Kota mutters, a hint of worry in his voice.
"Not to worry, Kota-kun!" Eri exclaims. "Izu-niichan will not lose!"
"…I hope so," Kota mutters. Mandalay looked at her nephew and smiled, glad that he finally found a friend his age to play with and soften up with her and the Pussycats. It was painful to see her nephew acting cold to everyone because his parents passed away and their jobs. Sure, Kota acts a bit clingy than before, but it's much better than getting cold shoulders.
"I'm glad that Izu's friend choose to stay by his side," Hackmon mutters, glad that Izuku didn't have to deal with the same bullshit he had when he was a kid. But, at the same time, he wishes he could join him and be part of the team. He wanted to help his partner so badly.
"Oooh, so many Kentaurosmon!" Gammamon exclaims while pointing at everyone on the field, causing everyone to blink at the little Digimon.
"Kentaurosmon? What in the world is that?" Gran asks in utter confusion.
"….great, I can't unsee it," Falcomon mutters, rubbing his eyes.
"….I wish I could stay with Recovery Girl," Himiko mutters, her entire body soaked.
Back with Everyone
"… Okay, I wasn't expecting this," Miles admits as he ends up being the horse of the team, wearing the headband displaying 10,000,610 on it.
"Given the majority of your gadgets require both of your hands to use them, it's a given," Izuku says.
"…I suppose, and this position will help me use my quirk better," Miles says. "Not complaining, just not expecting it."
"Well, we also feel like we're irresponsible if we let you be the horse instead of the rider," Eijirou admits.
"No sane adult wishes a younger kid to be the one giving a piggyback ride…." Ochako added sheepishly while Koda nodded.
"… You know that my quirk will require me to carry you guys, right? So your logic is not valid." The four horses slump down, unable to refute him.
"Anyways, let's focus on our match…." Izuku mutters before looking at Bakugou and blinked. Why is Bakugou being a horse for someone else? He then looks at the horse and understands why. Shinsou had used his quirk on the boy. He just hopes he won't explode in rage after snapping him out of the brainwashing.
"First thing first, don't approach Shinsou's team." Everyone seemed confused before looking at Bakugou and his team, which only confused them even more.
"Bakugou being a horse? That's so unlike him…" Eijirou mutters, blinking owlishly.
"I thought a guy like him would demand to be the rider," Ochako mutters.
"It's possibly because of the rider, Hitoshi Shinsou," Miles explains as he puts on his visor with a HUD display, showing the list of students he got from hacking UA's database during the entrance exam. "He has the quirk name….hold on, who's the idiot that named his quirk Brainwashing!? He hypnotized people, not brainwashed them."
"Now you see why I call people idiots?" Izuku mutters in annoyance.
"You know about Shinsou?" Miles asks in confusion.
"I…once saw it in action," Izuku says, which he didn't lie about it. He did see it when he binged MHA season 1-3 Movie 1. "I had no idea what could break them out of the hypnosis, but if we accidentally did it on Bakugou…."
"…." The 5 of them shuddered and agreed. It'll be a bad news.
"So, what's the plan? Run and hit?" Ochako asks in confusion. Eijirou bit his lip to stop himself from instinctively saying 'Face them head-on'. He knows his team's at a disadvantage and he doesn't want to burden Izuku with his chivalrous idea.
"We're going to plan a diversion," Izuku says with a grin, making them look at him in confusion. He then proceeds to explain the entire plan as they all look at him, their eyes slowly widening.
"….Izuku, your idea sounds crazy," Ochako admits. "Let's do it!"
"…." Koda nervously moves away from Ochako as her aura intensifies.
"All right, let's go with your plan, Izu-bro!" Eijirou says with a wide grin.
"… Okay, maybe it could work," Miles muttered. "Let's proceed with the plan."
"…if you guys have a problem with the plan, I don't mind if you guys voice it out," Izuku says, scratching his left cheek.
"Meh, I think your idea is good enough," Ochako says as Koda nods in agreement.
"If we're going to go through with that plan, this could help," Miles says before pulling multiple chips with different colors. He gives green to Izuku, red to Eijirou, pink to Ochako, and orange to Koda. Both blinked before they transformed. Izuku's turn into an Air Force Gauntlet, EIjirou's turn into a brass knuckle, Ochako's turn into a grappling hook, and Koda turns into a voice-amplifier mask. "Special support Items I carry just in case. It helps scan the quirk on a genetic level and with nano-tech, it turns into a suitable support device for the users."
"….holy shit, you've outdone yourself," Izuku says with a grin, giving a thumb up to Miles, who blushes in embarrassment. "All right, let's get started." The moment he said that the timer hit zero.
"All right, let the Cavalry Battle start!" Snipe said before the majority of the team charged toward Izuku like a pack of hungry hyenas.
'Our target! 10 Million points!' The majority of students thought as they charged in. Out of nowhere, the entire contestants feel all of their hair standing before cold hits them like a truck.
Then, everything exploded.
"W-w-what in the world!?!" Present Mic, who's been silent the entire time to let Snipe explain the rule, finally speaks, his sound full of disbelief. Aizawa didn't fare any better as he looked at the scene in front of him with wide eyes. In the stadium, a giant wall of ice covers part of the stadium and everyone's jaw drops seeing this.
"T-Todoroki, what the hell was that!?!" Kendo, who teams up with Tokage, Bondo, Shishida, and Todoroki, yells in disbelief. She decided to bring Todoroki into her team since she felt bad for him, seeing him alone and unsure what to do as his class all made their own team.
"T-that's no me…" Todoroki mutters in shock. Everyone looks at him and true to his words, there's no sign of frost on the right side of his body, either his hand or leg, no sign of ice.
"I-if it's not you, then…" Kendo then looks at Monoma, who is next to her with Tsuburaba, Kuroiro, Yanagi, and Juzo.
"I-it's not me either…" Monoma stammers, also show no sign of frost like Todoroki.
"If it's not you guys, then who…." Kendo looks confused, wondering who is the mysterious ice user.
With Izuku's team
Ochako, Eijirou, Koda, and Miles look at the giant ice wall with wide eyes and cold breath coming out of their mouth as if they didn't believe what they had just witnessed. Meanwhile, Izuku let out a cold breath as his hand covers in frost and Armament Haki. Izuku flexes his finger, shattering the ice on his hand before shaking it off his hand and turning off his Haki. He looks at the ice before grinning widely, the plan has begun.
To be continued
