In this one, RJ learned about Mom's Day at school so since the holiday is about celebrating and thanking moms for all the things they do and Nebula's his mama, he decides to make her a gift and made Nebula a card plus inspires his dad to do the same for Jupiter, his and Casey's mom who lives on Wondergore with their dad, which is sweet.

"Awww, is that for Mama Bula, buddy." Rocket asked RJ seeing the card the cub had made.

"Uh-huh as Mommy's Day is coming up and since Nebula's our mommy, I made her a card and Groot helped me make a corsage for her like the one you made Lylla, Ms Khan says Mommy's Day is to thank our moms for all the things they do for us, like Grandma Jupiter." RJ told him making a furry lump in his throat deciding to make something for Jupiter, knowing Casey was probably doing something for their mom so was making herva card but Groot was helping him make a corsage making him relieved noticing Groot was tired from the flowers he'd been making.

"Go rest buddy, and thanks for helping me and RJ as our moms are gonna love them." he said.

"I am Groot." Groot replied going to relax and do some art or listento music but RJ was suggesting they make Nebula breakfast on Mom's Day, which Rocket loved the idea because he wanted Nebula to feel special which RJ agreed with getting excited making him chuckle making Nebula wonder what they were up to hoping it was nothing that would get them in trouble making Rocket surprised by that, he wouldn't put RJ in a dangerous situation.

"We can't tell you, Mama Bula, it's a surprise." RJ said to her making her curious.

"Okay then, but Rockie okease don't get our cub in trouble." she said to him seeing Rocket nod.

Rocket was then going to hang out with Groot who was playing video games so was grabbing a controller delighting the treelike youngster that his friend wanted to play asking what he and RJ had been doing listening to him telling him about Mom's Day making Groot a little sad making him remembering he didn't have a mom squeezing his barky hand gently.

"Sorry buddy about that, plus we're making Mama Bula a surprise, but sorry." Rocket told him.

"I am Groot, I am Groot." Groot told him as they were playing Space Invaders which was Groot's favourite game unaware the others were watching finding it sweet those two were having fun, knowing things had been crazy seeing Gamora quiet seeing Nebula there making Mantis gulp, but Nebula was walking off to her room closing the door but hugging the Gamora stuffie sniffling a little hiding it under the blanket, realising it was Rocket sensing she was upset about Gamora and her wanting to bomd with Gamora even if it wasn't the one she'd grown up with.

"We can try working on it, bonding with Gammy I mean." he said to her handing her a tissue.

"Thanks, Rockie and yes, we can work on it, it is funny when Quill tries to hit on her." Nebula said.

"Yep, but RJ helps with you." she told him wondering what he and RJ had been doing makijg him smile telling her it was a secret plus didn't want to ruin the surprise RJ had planned to give her for Mom's Day making Nebula feel better.

It was now the morning of Mom's Day and RJ woke up excitedly running to the kitchen, seeing his dad there in an apron grinning as they were making breakfast for Nebula hoping the others would be okay knowing they'd be curious about what they were doing but saw Nebula surprised seeing what they were doing wondering why they were giving her gifts.

"It's Mom's Day where we thank moms for all the things they do, and you're my mommy even though you don't have fur and a tail so we wanted to do this for you to say thanks for everythijg you do for me and daddy." RJ told her making her choked-up thanking them making Rocket smile, but was getting into a pod heading for Wondergore with the gift he'd made for Jupiter making RJ grin.

"He's goiing to see Grandma Jupe, and give her the gift he made her." he told her making Nebula smirk curious about her brother's mom but could ask him later, when he got back making her forget about Gamora, so was makijg pancakes for everybody else alomg with RJ seeing the others wondering where Rocket was, making Nebula anxious.

"Daddy went on an errand but he'll be back soon." RJ told Quill relieving Nebula at that excuse even though Quill would understand being from Terra but the others wouldn't especialky Gamora hoping Rocket would be okay seeing them eating seeing Mantis notice the corsage on Nebula's wrist.

"RJ made it fir me." she whispered to her.
