Nebula noticed that Rocket was putting on a tux and cleaning up guessing he was going on a date with Lylla seeing the female-otter ready but was leaving them be knowing that she, Groot and RJ huhg out when Lylla and Rocket went on date-nights so she was making burgers with Chef RJ's help plus had an idea for dessert after she and Rocket had their first Trash Panda Food Night a few nights ago which RJ knew about keeping it a secret from the others, seeing RJ sigh after his dad and Lylla left making her get it, squeezing his paw gently.
"I know how you feel, as I'm protective of your daddy but Mama Scruff makes him happy, but if you want, I'm still your mommy." she told him making him get it plus he had something to show her, that he'd made at school making her grin seeing he'd maxe an emblem patch for her and Rocket's Trash Panda Food Nights seeing it was her and Rocket with pizza boxes which she found sweet.
"Thanks sweetie, and we've got to show your daddy when he comes home." she told him.
"You're welcome, Tomi was being a jerk but I ignored him like you said." he replied to her.
"That's good, and it's beauitful." Nebula told him, seeing Groot smirk at the emblem his brother had made seeing him putting it back in his room but Drax was wondering what was goijg on, happy that Nebula was cooking burgers seeing RJ excited but they were eating abd enjoying plus RJ got excitable seeing they were having ice-cream sundaes for dessert making Nebula giggle as it reminded her of Trash Panda Food Night with Rocket making Drax, Mantis and Quill confused except for Groot and RJ hearing Quill asking where Lylla and Rocket were.
"They are having a date night, but we're having our own fun, right mommy." RJ said to her making Nebula smile at the male-cub's words and after that, they were playing games together which was making RJ giggle hysterically which she and the others found adorable until it was time to start the male-cub's bedtime routine just as Lylla and Rocket came home noticing an engagement ring on Lylla's furry finger stunning the others alomg with RJ making Rocket sighing so saw the others congrarule them but Nebula was quiet making him concerned so could talk to her about it knowing he had to explain to RJ sensing he was upset seeing her heading to the kitchen to make hot chocolate to soothe RJ but also herself as she was happy for Rocket.
"I can't believe you and Lylla got engaged, but you okay." she heard Quill asking her.
"I guess so, I'm happy for him as he's always wanted Lylla." Nebula replied to him.
It was late night going into morning but Nebula was in the kitchen listening to music on headphones but drinking tea to relax herself as her big sister instincts had came out, with hearing that Lylla and Rocket were getting married only she heard RJ crying making her heading to his room seeing him awake, sitting on the bed with him on her lap.
"I don't want Mama Scruff to be my mommy, I want you to be my mommy." he said making her understabd seeing Rocket entering wondering what was bothering their cub, as RJ explained to him makijg him frowning explaining that Nebula could still be his mommy even if he was getting married to Lylla knowing he wasn't the only one coping with this, knowing Nebula was finding it hard guessijg she needed a little Trash Panda Food Night or Trash Panda Snack making her feel a little better remembering what RJ had made showing him, making him grin.
"I'm nit going anywhere, if that's why you're worried." he reassured her seeing her nodding unaware Lylla was watching knowing Nebula was Rocket's sister of sorts.
