Here we are! My second AU, although their humans this time! I hope you like this scene!

All their super suits are based off of animals to make it more fun. Pls pretend that a moonlark is an actual animal and that Sophie could teleport easily without jumping off a building or running super fast! (BTW they are Moonlarks are basically white peacocks)

Also these are their superhero names:

Biana is Sparkle and her animal is a gray and white cat. (obvi with sparkles!)

Sophie is Moonlark and her animal is a…well….Moonlark :)

Dex is Techno (short for technology) and his animal is a red panda

Fitz is Captain and his animal is a lynx.

Keefe wanted to be called Hunkyhair, but they called him H instead. And his animal is a fox (I has inspiration from his little friend in book 9.5)

Anyway, I won't keep you in suspense any longer $o$ ;) ._.

And so without further ado…

"So what's the plan Moonlark?" Sparkle said, the cat tail of her super suit twitched with anticipation.

Sparkle, Techno, Moonlark had been sent by the Black Swan to observe a potential candidate that they suspected had been recruited by the Neverseen. His name was Ray, and he had recently found out that he had supernatural powers, like them.

Ray could bend and control light, which could come in handy in their upcoming missions…sadly the Neverseen had found out about him before they did…Ray was seen by one of their undercover agents talking with a member of the Neverseen.

It was their job to tap into the feed of a nearby security camera, to keep surveillance on him and make sure that Ray didn't try to meet with any other members of the Neverseen.

It was the middle of the night and Moonlark had teleported them to the top of a nearby building to keep out of sight.

Now all they had to do was get to the cafe across from his apartment building and hack the security camera.

"Techno, how fast can you get this done?" Moonlark asked, looking at him. Techno's superpower allowed him to manipulate technology to his will.

His figure was barely noticeable in the dark, but she could still make out the slight hesitation that showed on his face.

Out of all of them, Techno had been on the least amount of missions, so it was normal for him to be a little nervous. Of course that didn't stop Techno from being a fierce adversary and a loyal ally. Moonlark had seen this first hand, because Techno had been her first friend when she joined the Black Swan a few years back.

"I can get it done in about ten minutes." He said with determination.

"Sparkle how long can you keep three people hidden?"

Sparkle's superpower allowed her to turn invisible, along with others, if she concentrated enough.

"Well I started being able to turn other people invisible just last month, so I'm guessing only about twenty minutes." Sparkle said.

"That'll be more than enough time, if you feel tired just ask and I'll enhance you. Are you guys ready?" Moonlark asked.

They both nodded their heads and Sparkle reached for both their hands. As soon as their gloved hands connected they turned invisible and heeded in the direction of the security camera.

As soon as they reached the cafe Techno started to tamper with the wires of the camera, and Sparkle held on to his shoulder, focused on keeping them invisible.

Moonlark meanwhile kept a sharp eye out for any danger. Every so often a car would drive by, or a person would walk down the street lost in thought. Despite the normalcy of the scene she never let her guard down. This was Moonlarks job.

She was there to lead and protect. Ever since she had learned about the tweaks the Black Swan had made to her genetics as a part of their 'Project Moonlark' experiment, she had been doing the exact same thing, day after day, week after week. Go on missions and stop the Neverseen.

Moonlark was sort of the Black Swans protector, because of all the extra power they gave her. She was a telepath, teleporter, enhancer, inflicter, and polyglot. Because of all her powers, she could never fully be close to anyone, although she had some friends in the resistance.

Sparkle and Techno were two. She was glad that they were there with her on this mission. She only had a few other friends in the Black Swan.

Captain and H.

Captain was a telepath too, and was upset that his sister, Sparkle got to go on this mission instead of him. H bellyached about it too, insisting that he could kick some serious Neverseen booty. His words not hers.

Mr. Forkle usually sent them on missions together. But she didn't worry about it too much, since they were just hacking a camera instead of rescuing a runaway train, or stopping someone from robbing a bank.

Even if the mission wasn't as life threatening as those, it was still a tense situation…She wished H was there to tell a random joke to lighten up the mood.

"Are you almost done Techno?" Sparkle whispered, her voice a little strained. "I don't know how much longer I can keep us hidden."

"Almost…got it…" He mumbled. "Done."

Moonlark gave a sigh of relief.

"Let's get back to base." Sparkle said, relieved.

As they silently walked to a nearby alley to teleport back, there was a flash of light brighter than the sun. It temporarily blinded them, but quickly faded just as fast as it appeared.

"What was that?!" Moonlark said, forgetting to lower her voice.

"Shh!" Techno whisper yelled.

"It came from Ray's apartment…" Sparkle said, and let go of their hand to make them visible. They hid behind a nearby dumpster, so no one would see them.

"Do you think we should check it out?" Techno asked them.

Moonlark bit her lip. She was supposed to keep her friends safe, not drag them into danger…but it wasn't like they were little kids who needed to be protected…and it was their job to find out what Ray was up to…

"If you can teleport this into Ray's room, we can hear what he's saying." Techno said and pulled out a small earpiece.

"Good idea!" Moonlark said. Through the window to his apartment, she caught sight of the back of a brown couch. She imagined the floor beneath the couch and created a small portal. She put her hand in the portal and set the listening device on the floor behind a forgotten newspaper scrap. She pulled her hand out and closed the portal.

"Good job Moonlark!" Sparkle whispered.

Moonlark blushed, hoping they wouldn't see it under her mask.

Techno pulled three other earpieces from a pocket in his orange-brown super suit and handed them to Sparkle and Moonlark. They didn;t move a muscle, still behind the dumpster, and listened intently.

"I want nothing to do with your organization!" They heard a male voice yell.

Ray.

"Well it's two late. We want you in it, and we have some pretty persuasive ways to change your mind…" A sinister voice said.

Fintan. The unstable leader of the Neverseen was just across the street from them.

"We need to call Mr. Forkle…" Techno said, fear written all over his masked face.

"No, wait…" Moonlark said. "We'll never be able to get Mr. Forkle and catch Fintan in time before he leaves…we need to come up with a plan. Any ideas Sparkle?" Moonlark said.

"Sparkle?"

Where Sparkle once stood was an empty space with her earpiece on the floor.

Techno looked at eachother, then scrambled to get up and look at the apartment building. The door to the building was opening and closing by itself. If anyone saw it, they might think it was a ghost.

It was no ghost.

It was Sparkle.

"Oh no. Ohnonononononono!" Moonlark panicked. "What was she thinking! She can't capture Fintan by herself!"

"Come on then!" Techno said and pulled her forward towards the apartment building.

"But we'll be seen!" Moonlark protested as a car whizzed past them.

"That's what our suits and masks are for. So long as Ray and Fintan don't see us we'll be fine."

"Okay, we'll get Biana and then go back to base. You're recording what they're saying in there right?" Moonlark asked.

"Yeah it's all being recorded."

"Let's go then."

Techno and Moonlark walked into the empty lobby and crept into the stairway.

"Sparkle!" They quietly called.

No response.

"Sparkle if you don't abandon your crazy mission I'll tell Captain that you accidently ripped Mr. Snuggles that one time!" Moonlark whisper threatened.

"Okay, okay! I'm here!" Sparkle whispered as she appeared out of this air beside Techno.

"What were you thinking–you can't take on Fintan by yourself!" Moonlark said quietly.

Sparkle sighed. "I know…I'm sorry, I just thought that if I was stealthy enough I could knock him out without him noticing…"

"You? Knock me out? I highly doubt that." An ominous voice said from above them. All three of them slowly turned around to find Fintan standing at the top of the flight of stairs they were standing on. "All though I'd like to see you try…"

As if instinctively, Moonlark created a portal to the Black Swan's base and shoved Techno and Sparkle into it.

"Moonlark," Fintan tisked as she closed the portal. "Always wanting to be the hero don't you?"

"It's called being a good leader! Something you wouldn't know about." Moonlark said as red rimmer her vision.

"Don't even think about inflicting on me." Fintain said and raised his arm to ignite a flame in his palm. The white flame flickered all over the place as if begging Fintan to be let free.

Sophie wasn't worried about the flame.

Her super suit would protect her from any server injury.

That was why she didn't hesitate to run down the stairs, Fintan hot on her heels.

"It's pointless to run away!" Fintan said as he struggled to catch up to the energetic teenager.

She knew that.

But while she'd shoved Techno into her portal, she'd borrowed a tracking device from him. If she could get it on Fintan, her problems would be solved!

Moonlark ran faster until she reached the bottom of the stairwell.

She didn't slow down.

She created a portal in front of the wall that was blocking her and ran into it, closing it behind her.

Once she was in the safety of the void, Moonlark imagined the stairwell again. But this time she imagined the floor beside Fintan.

A small portal opened up under Fintan, who was searching for her, oblivious to the hand coming from the floor that stuck a small tracker to his boot.

She reached her hand back and closed the portal.

Then she imagined the Black Swans base and stepped into the middle of an argument.

Everyone was there: Sparkle, Techno, Captain, H, Mr. Forkle and the rest of the collective.

They were yelling questions over one another, trying to get the story out of what happened on their mission. They were in the middle of the training room in the base, which was eerily empty, except for the few people who were still arguing, and didn't notice her. She reminded herself that it was the middle of the night, and it was normal for people to be asleep at this time. Then again she wasn't normal.

H was the only one not screaming, and was the first to spot Moonlark.

He gave her his famous smirk and Moonlark smiled back.

"Hi guys…" Moonlark said.

Everyone turned silent and looked at her.

Sparkle and Techno ran to give her a hug, making her promise never to save them over herself again.

She just smiled and said she'd try.

Everyone else came running to her asking where she'd been and what happened and if she was alright.

"I have important news!" Moonlark said, trying to calm everyone down. "I put a tracker on Fintan without him knowing."

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

You're probably wondering WHY ISN'T THERE MORE SOKEEFE! Well don't worry! Part 2 will have a whole lotta Sokeefe!

My idea isn't finalized yet so pls don't be upset if I change it a little :) :) :)

So here is a little preview of the second part to this:

In the second part of this, It'll be a normal day for them, because the tracker thing happened a week earlier. Sophie's friends will hang out, without their costumes, but Sophie still has her mask on (Keefe tries to find out who she is. She won't let him) That's when the collective tell them that they want to set up an ambush for Fintan, because of the tracker Sophie put on him...buuuuuuuuut it goes wrong and Sophie gets hurt…and Keefe finds out her identity…

*eyebrow wiggle*

Anyway here are the review reacts (I only have two to react to! o_o Oh no!):

L'Oracle de Delphe - Thanks for another great idea! I promise to write it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon! I wonder what rumors they'll be…any ideas in particular? ;)

secret person - Yeah I know what you mean :) I just re-read that scene and I'm cringing a little on how easily I let Grady accept Keefe…Oh well...you like you learn! That's why I love constructive criticism! ;) ToT :p
