Jasper, Nevada was still a graveyard and the never-ending view of the state's dry land was getting really old to look at. Of course, it was better to stare into the distance than not ignoring the slight pain he had gotten used to over the past few months with Megatron behind the wheel…so to speak. Unicron may have been the devil of the Cybertronian world but he was beginning to believe Megatron was Earth's; he had just been off-planet.

"Is my pet not happy still? I've given you my utmost attention, the power to give some commands to my troops, and a perfect view of your world crumbling beneath my feet. What else could quench your greed, my dear Fowler?"

The former agent held his thigh which ached from the pressure Megatron had initiated when he-it just hurt. He growled at the smirking warlord, "Freedom."

"You know I can't do that. I feel a very strong connection with you and giving you up would break my spark. You wouldn't want to break my spark now, would you?" The mech purred.

"Yes."

The answer was blunt and made Megatron frown though he surprisingly wasn't angry at the response, just disappointed with some calculative thought following. Slowly, the monstrous mech stood up and approached the human snarling near the edge of the platform.

Fowler shook his head, "You took everything from me and you think I would love you for it?"

"I always get what I want and all it takes is persuasion, time, and a little leverage to get you to think of me in the same light."

"Before I love you," the human paused, "I'll kill you first."

All Megatron did was sneer greedily, dementedly and walked away with a small chuckle somewhat audible. Bill didn't even bother looking back but instead stared intensely at the backdrop of his former home. A plan, slow and cunning, was churning in his weak mind. The devil would fall; he would make sure of that.

That night, Vehicons parted for him so he could make his way towards Megatron's quarters like always. Megatron, of course, was sitting in his chair at his desk with data pads stacked neatly to read whenever he decided to get to them.

A brief grunt was heard as Fowler limped a little towards his section of the room. "You spend too much time with those Vehicons, Agent Fowler. They should know you only bring death everywhere you go."

Fowler stopped midstride and turned his head slyly, "Come and say that to my face, you petty tyrant."

He could literally hear Megatron's claws scraped slightly against the desk's surface, and the warlord hesitated none to get up and approach him again, this time rather intimidatingly.

"Why do you have to make everything so difficult!?"

"Why?" Fowler then smirked, "Because I really do care about you. I just hate you at the same time. I lied in the hopes you would at least free me. Too bad you won't be around to see it."

In confusion, Megatron raised a brow when suddenly he let out an inhuman roar like a demon as the Star Saber ripped through his chest before exiting, making the mech fall on all fours clutching his chest. Dark Energon splattered everywhere as he coughed up some from his mouth. Shocked, appalled, and somewhat betrayed, he stared sadly at the human who simply shook his head.

"I'll admit everything, Megatron. I liked you. You are handsome, smart, and skilled to where I found myself kind of jealous. I loved your strategies no matter how deadly you were and one day, I had hoped I could be with you but you took things way too far. I have to make things right over what I want."

The warlord found no words as his arms failed him and he slapped down onto the ground on his front, a beastly groan emitting from his fading voice box. He saw Fowler place a wayward hand onto his nose plating, a pained look crossing his faceplates.

"Goodbye, Lord Megatron."

Pushing against the hand as much as he could, Megatron's optics dimmed and above him, a Vehicon lifted the Star Saber onto his shoulders. The Vehicon sighed, "I'm sorry, sir, but there needed to be a change. What do you wish to do now, Agent Fowler?"

Bill smiled briefly, "It's time to go home, soldier. Megatron, I wish there was another way we could have been together but you forced my hand."

"I'm going to miss him a little."

"Me too, son, me too."

AN: Decided to take a new turn with this. Usually pairings end with sex or contentment with their partners in some way (may be one-sided) but I decided to kill Megatron. Trust me, this isn't the first time I did this so keep that in mind. All in all, a fun twist.
