Pairing: FOC Soundwave/Slug, hinted Shockwave/Grimlock

Details/Themes: Unhealthy obsession, Soundwave wants a Dinobot (Shockwave says no)

Soundwave ignored the creepy Insecticons Shockwave had enlisted and expanded in number through experiments to secure his tower. He was simply here to check on the scientist as a status update since Megatron wasn't very pleased with how slow progress between the war and Shockwave's space bridge was.

"I assure you; everything is going exactly as planned," Shockwave hissed.

"Megatron is unconvinced. Shockwave: should move faster."

"Crystal City wasn't built in a day! Besides, I have my own separate priorities, you know."

As they walked into a chamber of Shockwave's citadel, Soundwave froze as he heard a plea. Inside, there were three prisoners held up by electro-suspension chains, two awake and one unconscious. He immediately recognized the unconscious one as the fierce and monstrous Grimlock, brute of the Lightning Strike Coalition Force. The other two were Swoop and Snarl.

So, Shockwave succeeded after all. Soundwave remembered how Grimlock was reportedly heading towards this area and he half hoped the tank would level Shockwave down a notch. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

But then Soundwave realized something, Slug wasn't among them. He remembered the bruiser was crafty, heading brawn first into any battle and often coming out victorious. He knew Shockwave had a slight thing for Grimlock's powerhouse capabilities but Slug was Soundwave's guilty pleasure. The physique, brawn and brains on the mech was stunning.

"Looking for the bulky bruiser?" Shockwave chuckled, "They thought I couldn't take them all. How wrong they were. But their arrival put in motion a new idea for some experiments. The planet that we found to be rich with energy? There's thousands of species of creatures there, powerful beasts."

"Shockwave: what did you do?"

"Simple, I improved them." Shockwave pressed a button in front of Snarl's hold and the mech was jolted with electricity. The bot grew enraged until he finally transformed into...Soundwave had no clue what to call the plated creature but it looked exotic. If Snarl turned into...that...then what was Slug now?

"You won't get away with this, Shockwave!" A voice from behind yelled. Both Shockwave and Soundwave turned and the latter stared longer, a lot longer than he would admit.

Slug had steam pouring from his vents angrily as his arms were restrained, held back from charging Shockwave which Soundwave could tell he really wanted to do. Seeing the brute roar like a mad animal made Soundwave wonder if the mech could do more.

"Now, now, behave! We have guests, especially one I know is interested in you. Show him your new body," Shockwave commanded.

Slug growled before transforming into a three-horned plated monster of a tank creature. Soundwave was astounded at the level of detail Shockwave put in to make Slug's large form work. Dare he say, he found the creature's powerful stature fitting. Given the beast-like alt form, one could mistake Slug as a pet...his pet to do with as he pleased.

His processor shifted to all the fun they could have with the new mode including seeing if everything was proportional. Good indeed. He could finally have the bruiser after years of only being able to enjoy his faux presence in his dreams.

"Proposition: I will take prisoner off your servos. Payment included," Soundwave immediately said.

Shockwave was surprised by it but shook his helm. "I'm afraid that is not possible at the moment. Slug and the others must stay here for the time being. I may have given them their new forms and so far, everything does work but there are still more tests I must run to ensure complete symbiosis. Excess unmonitored stress, that includes other activities, is not a good idea at this time. Rest assured; you will have him soon."

Slug roared again in his creature mode, barely restrained by the electric chains. "Scrap-eaters! I am not an object to be pawned off! I will kill you first!"

"Such spirit. Slug: will be mine eventually. Inevitable," Soundwave purred. He reached out fearlessly and placed a servo on Slug's snout. The Autobot couldn't snap at him being rendered almost completely immobile.

"I'll make you eat that attitude, Soundwave."

Slug managed to tear from the restraints enough to swipe at Soundwave with his paws and gave an animalistic bellow when the mech was sent flying into loose machinery. The Decepticon spymaster shrugged off the blow but Shockwave was quick to up the power of the restraints.

Soundwave glared at the creature that Slug had become. He liked the anger of the mech, made his personality really boom to him. There were some discipline issues but nothing out of the realm of fixing. He tamed Laserbeak and Ravage, he could tame Slug too.

The brute snarled from the electricity but didn't stop himself from saying one more thing. "I'll beat every inch of life out of that ugly frame of yours for this, just you wait!"

All Soundwave did in return is make a jerking motion near his abdomen for a brief second and laughed as Slug was sent into another rage. "Slug: Soundwave always superior."

AN: I love the Dinobots in Fall of Cybertron. They deserve some interest from the characters too. What better way than to start this cesspool of horrifying shipping by bringing in Soundwave?
