Chapter 1: "Show Them Your Power Kid!"(Part 2)

Bardock landed behind a group of people, who were crowding around the entrance of a shopping district. Izuku immediately jumped off Bardock's back and rushed towards the crowd, ready to jot down any new information he can obtain from the heroes that were on the scene.

He saw many heroes that were familiar to him like Death Arms, Kamui Woods and Backdraft, but when he saw the villain causing the commotion, his body went stiff, as he trembled in fear, dropping his pen and notebook. Ahead of him, destroying the buildings around him was a large, sludge like villain, reaching a size even greater than All-Might's height. Bardock saw Izuku's fear and ask if he recognised the villain.

"H-he, he, he-e. He attacked me earlier today. All-Might was able to save me, but why is he here? All-Might contained him, so how did he...?" Izuku trailed off, giving Bardock of few clues on what was happening with the boy, but then the realisation hit him.

He was the one that freed the sludge villain, it was his fault that someone is suffering because of his actions. Izuku pressed his hands tightly over his mouth, struggling not to cry on the spot.

Bardock could tell the kid has some trauma concerning the monster. Not knowing what it was, it wasn't a pleasant one. Bardock knelt down to pick up Izuku's pen and notebook, but when he looked up to hand them back to him, he saw Izuku wasn't standing where he was. Then the screams and yells from the audience and the pro heroes caught Bardock's attention as his eyes widen to see Izuku running up to the villain.

("What the hell? Heh, the kid got some guts.") Bardock said, as he watched Izuku try to fend off the villain.

He saw Izuku throw his bag at the villain's eyes, trying to save the hostage the slime villain took over. But Bardock noticed that this wasn't some random person, the kid knew him. Before he could wonder what their relationship was, he saw the villain regain his footing, as he swung his large goopy arm down, attempting to squash Izuku under his oily weight.

"Not on my watch!" Bardock said, as he flared up his aura, charging into battle.

His speed was like nothing in the world, as Bardock was able to reach Izuku and save both him, and the boy taken as a hostage away from the villain. When the villain's hand crashed onto the ground, he was surprised that there were no explosion, as he swore he used the kid he stole quirk. Then he saw neither of the two boys were with him, turning around to see Bardock, blocking the boys from him.

"Who the hell are you? Are you a hero, or are you just like the boy?" The villain spoke, his voice as slimy and viscous as his body.

"What I am doesn't concern you. What you should be worried about is getting into a fight with me." Bardock said, as he step forwards towards the villain.

"Hahaha! You can't be serious? You may be fast, but you are certainly not strong enough to..." The villain was cut off by a surge of pain from a section of his body, then the feeling of being thrown from the force.

("What?! Impossible! He hit so hard it caused my body to harden like stone?!") The sludge villain question, never expecting to encounter someone who could punch him so hard his body would push against itself, hardening and allowing the force of a punch to hurt him.

"What's wrong? Never faced an opponant stronger than you?" Bardock asked, cracking his knuckles.

"You bastard! I'll kill you!" The sludge villain roared, throwing his arm at Bardock, just like he did to Izuku, but Bardock easily avoided the attack, landing a kick to the villain's head, knocking him down again.

The sludge villain tried to attack again, launching dozens of tenticles towards Bardock, flailing them around, but Bardock easily maneuvered his way through the villain's attack and land a few more blows, he was even able to grab onto the villain's body.

"What the?! That's impossible!"

"Why don't you pick on someone your own size!" Bardock yelled, as he threw the sludge villain over himself and hurled him into the ground, causing a small crater to form underneath.

Izuku watched the fight in awe, getting excited that he will learn to fight j7st like Bardock does. His friend; the villain's hostage, Katsuki Bakugou, never knew someone as strong as Bardock existed, besides All-Might of course. For most of the boy's life, he was told he is and would be the best of the best, but he was handled like a fiddle by the villain and was used like a puppet, but here was Bardock, simply toying with the guy.

"Oi Deku, who the hell is he?!" Katsuki barked at Izuku, causing him to flintch and look at Katsuki.

"Uh well, his name is Bardock. I met him after I was saved by All-Might from the same villain. He offerd to train me so that I can become a hero." Izuku said, too into the fight at hand.

Katsuki's rage flaired, as he yelled at Izuku that he will never become a hero because he is a quirkless loser.

"The only reason why he is offering you training, is to pity you! Whatever training he'll give you, will never help you become a hero! You got that?!" Katsuki yelled, getting the attention of Bardock.

Bardock knew he needed to end this fight as for one, he was getting bored, two, his fight will at some point cause more casualties and three, he needs to help Izuku before the blonde kid hurts him.

As Bardock was wrestling with the sludge villain, he once again threw him over his head and slamming him into the ground, but the villain got up quicker than before, his slimy body giving him a resistance to all forms of kinetic energy, but most know there is a difference between resistance and immune.

"No matter how many time you attack me, I will always come back and I'll be able to counter your attacks. Once I gain control over your body, you and everyone in this city will be at my mercy! Ahahahaha!" The slime villain bosted, believing he was unbeatable.

The little monologue gave a little twitch to Bardock, as the slime villain was acting all high and mighty, just like many unpleasant people Bardock met in his life. So to finish this fight off, he knew he had to finish it with one final attack. He pulled his right fist back, then he covered it in a blue glow, catching everyone's, including Izuku's and Katsuki's attention.

"What the, what kind of quirk is that?" Izuku asked, never seeing a quirk like that one before.

"Time to finish you off, you freak!" Bardock yelled, as he dug his foot deep in to the concrete, cracking and even turning parts of it into fine dust.

He push his foot hard, launching himself towards the sludge villain. The villain wouldn't allow this to happen, so he sent more tentacles at Bardock, but he easily dodges all of them with his impressive speed and agility. Before the villain could process what was happening, a bright blue light shun in his eyes, causing him to look down, only to see Bardock was right in front of him, his arm cocked back for a punch.

"H-how did you...?" The sludge villain stammered, as he tried to attack Bardock again, but unfortunately he missed, as Bardock hurled his glowing fist into the villain's body.

"Take this! Final Spirit Fist!" Bardock yelled as the energy from both his punch and the energy from his ki surged through the villain's body, overwhelming his as his body burst into thousands of pieces, with the remaining amount of energy from Bardock's punch being sent into the sky, parting to clouds, as he held his arm up right like a superhero.

Everybody were shocked. Seeing someone besides All-Might having such emense strength was almost impossible, yet here was Bardock, punching the clouds above them apart, revealing the sunny day that was being covered by the clouds produced by the fires cause by the sludge villain hsing Katsuki's quirk.

Then the silence was broken when everyone began to cheer for Bardock, as police and heroes were able to detain the sludge villain in many garbage bags. One of the spectators of the fight was All-Might, in his skinny form. He was horrified more than anything. A man who had compramable or even greater strength than his own was terrifying to him.

("What in the hell? It would've took me at my full strength to part the clouds, but he did that without even trying. How strong is he, and who even is he?") Toshinori Yagi; All-Might's true name, thought, as his mind flashed back to Izuku.

("And that kid. Even without a quirk he still rushed in to help. How could I have been so wrong. This kid could be a great successor.") Toshinori thought, as he left the scene, waiting to meet the kid later on in the day.

Reporters and various heroes were swarming Bardock with praise and questions. Questions like the ones he was asked at UA, but he dodged them all and focused his attention on Izuku.

"Hey kid! Are you alright?" Bardock asked, kneeling down to one knee to meet Izuku eye to eye.

"Y-y-yeah, I'm fine. Sorry for what I did. I wasn't thinking, and I know how dangerous it was." Izuku said, feeling like he disappointed his mentor before their training even started.

"Yeah, you're right." Death Arms said, walking up to the two, as he began to lecture Izuku about safety and legality.

"Hey! You better leave the kid alone." Bardock said, blocking Death Arms from Izuku.

"Listen, what this kid did was not okay, and he needs to learn to be mor..." Death Arms was cut off by a punch to his cheek, as he was thrown to the ground.

Everyone looked to see Death Arms was holding his cheek from the pain, seeing Bardock towering over the hero.

"I don't care what you think the kid should do and not do. What he did took guts and the display of bravery he shown was much greater than any of you pests today! While you were standing around for no reason, the kid stepped up and charged at the enemy! Even if he knew he couldn't win, he still charged into battle like a true warrior!" Bardock shouted, as Izuku was both terrified by Bardock's voice, but relived that Bardock wasn't mad, but proud of him.

"You idiot. Harming a hero puts you in villainous territory! You better apologise and come quietly, or do I have to get my hands dirty?" Death Arms said, picking himself and slamming his fists together, ready for a fight.

Bardock smiled at the challenge. Even if this hero isn't a strong as him, he wouldn't mind fighting him for the fun of it. But before they could clash, deep laughter could be heard, as they all looked into the sky to see All-Might fall from the sky and land in between both Bardock and Death Arms.

"HAHAHAHA!!! Please, let us not get too hasty! What young Midoriya did isn't worth getting into a fight for!" All-Might bellowed, as he tried to calm the situation down.

"But he attacked me! He should be liable for his actions!" Death Arms argued, not believing what All-Might was saying.

"Him defeating the Sludge Villain when even I would've struggled, should be enough for his community service!" All-Might said, shocking everyone, even Izuku.

Both Izuku and Bardock knew about All-Might's time limit, and how he was pushing himself beyond that limit. While they were concerned for All-Might secret, everyone was shocked that an opponant that not even All-Might could defeat easily was done by someone without effort.

"Now please, let the both of them go so that we can all have a good afternoon." All-Might said, which Death Arms agreed, standing down, but still gave Bardock a hard glare.

Bardock smiled at All-Might's presentation, telling the kid they are ready to leave. Izuku nodded, as he put all his stuff into his bag and he ran next to Bardock. All-Might was surprised that Izuku knew this man, and was curious about him even more.

"Hey, listen. Later on today when I escape the paparazzi, I want the three of us to have a talk." All-Might whispered, as he placed his hand on Bardock's shoulder.

Bardock nodded, as he and Izuku left the district, heading back to Izuku's home where Bardock will introduce himself to Izuku's mother and talk to her about the training regimen he'll put her son through.

"So how much longer will we have to walk?" Bardock asked, as the sun was about to sun under the horizon.

"Just another 10 minutes, that's all." Izuku said, giving of a few seconds of silence till he spoke up.

"Hey, thank you for helping me. I appreciate it." Izuku said, giving Bardock a warm smile.

Bardock looked at Izuku, saying it was nothing, telling him that what he did was brave, but was also stupid. Getting killed in battle is one way a warrior would want to die, but it is best to live and fight another day, than die like a squished bug.

"DEKUUUUU!!!" A scream was heard from behind them, with Izuku fully knowing well who this voice belongs two.

From behind the boy that was captured by the sludge villain ran up to the both of them, as he caught his breath when he stopped a few feet from them.

"Kacchan? Are you okay?" Izuku asked, reaching a hand for him, but was swatted away by Katsuki.

"Shut it Deku! I wanted to make one thing clear! You didn't save me, you got that! I didn't need your help! You were only making the situation worse! I don't want you to put me down like that ever again, you got that?!" Katsuki yelled, as he jabbed a finger at Izuku.

He then looked at Bardock, looking him up and down, giving him a scowl as he spoke to him.

"And you. Don't bother with this nerd. He is nothing more than a quirkless loser who doesn't deserve to be a hero. If he gets killed, that's his fault." Katsuki said, as he shoved his hands into his pocket and stomped off, grumbling about Izuku being a stupid deku.

"Jeez, and I thought King Vegeta was narcissistic. What's his deal?" Bardock asked, when Izuku answered.

"That's Kacchan. He's my childhood friend. Ever since the day he got his quirk, he been praised by everyone around him for having such a strong quirk." Izuku said, which Bardock then asks what type of quirk Katsuki has.

Izuku explains Katsuki's quirk, how he is able to use it and the various ways he could use it from his own observations.

"Wow, you seem to..." Bardock was about to speak when All-Might burst from the alleyway just ahead on them, yelling.

"I AM HERE!!! SLIDING IN TO MEET YOU, YOUNGE MIDORIYA!!!"

"AAHHHH!!! A-All-Might?! W-w-what are you doing here? Weren't you flooded by a bunch of reporters?" Izuku stammerd onto the ground, not expecting to meet All-Might again.

"Haha, why are you so shocked? I can easily able to out run and out smart them. Why, because I am...BLERGGH!!!" All-Might boasted, as he flexed his muscles but waa forced to revert to his skinny form and vomited a lot of blood.

"Ahh! All-Might! You okay?!" Izuku yelled, not expecting the sudden change All-Might went through.

"Yeah, kid. I'm fine, don't worry." All-Might said, wiping the blood on his lips.

"You sure? You must be exceeding your 3 hour time limit." Izuku asked more, concerned for his number one idol.

"Kid, I said I am alright! Seriously, you're too selfless for your own good." All-Might said, calming down Izuku.

"So, what is it that you wanted to talk to us about?" Bardock piped up, getting straight to the reason why All-Might is here.

"Ah right, my apologies. Well, first of all I want to apologise to you Midoriya. What I said on the rooftop was out of line. I shouldn't have crush your dreams. I was too blinded to see the fire and determination you have, so please. Accept my apology." All-Might said, as he knelt down to the ground and rested his head on the floor, pleading for Izuku's acceptance.

"W-w-what?! No, please. You don't need to apologise, you did nothing wrong. All you did was tell me the hard truth that I needed to hear." Izuku said, waving his hands and trying to cheer up All-Might.

"Kid, you better accept his apology. It is always hard for someone to accept that they can be wrong, and here is the number one hero of your country, apologising for being wrong." Bardock said, placing a hand onto Izuku's shoulder.

Izuku looked back at All-Might, who was looking at him with his head raised, his body still knelt down to yhe ground. Izuku took a deep breath, relaxing his muscles and nerves. When he stared straight into All-Might's eyes, he bowed down to All-Might, saying he accepts his apology with every part of his body. All-Might smiled, thanking Izuku for being such a kind boy.

"Thank you young Midoriya, you wouldn't believe how much that would have ate at me if I didn't know if you were okay with what I said." All-Might said, picking himself up from the ground and dusting himself off.

"Don't worry All-Might. You were only giving me a reality check. Besides, Mr. Bardock agreed to help train me to become a hero like you." Izuku said, giving All-Might the happiest smile he ever saw from the boy.

"That's right, and not just like you, but much greater, as long as he keeps up with his training." Bardock said, ruffling Izuku's hair.

All-Might's eyes widen not from shock, but from excitment.

"Holy crap! I think I just hit the jackpot!" All-Might said, confusing the two.

"H-huh, jackpot?" Izuku asked.

"With my power and his training, you can become the strongest hero this planet will see! Probably ever!" All-Might yelled in excitement.

"Wait, what do you mean your power?" Bardock asked, as he was already lost from All-Might's excitment.

"Well, that is something I wanted to talk to you about. You see, my power is nothing like many believe it is." All-Might started, where Bardock looked down and saw Izuku had already pulled his notebook and pen out, jotting down everything All-Might was saying.

("Seriously! Where the hell does he pull them from?! The Aether?!") Bardock thought, completely creeped out by Izuku's antics.

"You see young Midoriya. I wasn't born with this power, but I was given it by my master, the previous wielder of this quirk." All-Might said, as he spread his arms out.

"Wait, given? Like it was handed down to you like a torch or something?" Izuku asked, which All-Might nodded.

"I am the 8th holder of this quirk, named 'One For All'." All-Might said, as he held his hand out.

From Izuku's point of view, he swore he could see a starlight travel down to others, as the light grew more till it ended at All-Might's.

"So you are planning to pass down One for All to Midoriya to be the next wielder, am I correct?" Bardock asked, already knowing where this road was leading to.

"That is correct. And when I was watching you fight, your strength and speed was nothing like I have seen, and even if I was in my prime, I believe I wouldn't stand a chance against you at your full power, would I?" All-Might asked.

"That would be correct. I barely broke a sweat fighting that villain." Bardock said, emphasising he barely took the villain seriously.

"Wait, you think Mr. Bardock could easily defeat you?! But you're All-Might! The strongest hero in the world! No one is as strong as you!" Izuku said, not accepting his idol wasn't the best of the best.

"Sorry to break it to you young Midoriya, but at my current full strength, plenty of heroes across the world like the number one hero in America can easily beat me in a one on one fight." All-Might said, knowing he wasn't the strongest in the world anymore.

"I mean, it makes sense. You can barely hold your buff form for more then three hours, you are seriously injured and you are no longer in your prime. Why would you be the strongest?" Bardock teased, listing off the many reasons for All-Might's weakened state.

"So, you really think I am suitable for your quirk. Maybe there could be someone else who is a better choice. Like someone with a strong quirk." Izuku said, not wanting to take All-Might's power.

"No, you are the perfect candidate for One for All. You know why? Because you hold the very thing every good hero holds. Every hero that talk about the early years in their career, say they head into battle without..."

"...thinking." Izuku finished All-Might's sentence, realising what All-Might was talking about, as his mind trailed back to when he rushed at the sludge villain without thinking.

"My body just moved. I don't know why. I was so terrified, but I couldn't stop myself." Izuku said, as All-Might pointed his finger in the sky.

"Every great hero in the planet's history always has something in common. Their body acts before their mind does, no matter how scared or terrified they are of the threat they afce. They just rush into danger. And for that reason, young Midoriya, is why you can become a hero!" All-Might pronounced, moving his finger down to Midoriya, who fell to the ground on his knees, tears beginning to form in his eyes.

"So please, become my successor and your path as the world's number one hero can begin!" All-Might said, resting his arms down.

Izuku was grabbing his chest as he let the tears fall from the words he heard, accepting All-Might's proposition, saying he will make both All-Might and Bardock proud as his mentors.

"You know kid, you definitely hit the jackpot here. You have one the strongest beings on this whole planet, and the number one hero with a quirk that could put your power on par with mine." Bardock said, already seeing the potential in the boy.

"So, Bardock was it. What type of training will you give Midoriya. I was planning on improving his physique by having him clean Dagobah beach. The whole place is covered in trash and it would be a great place for him to build up some muscle." All-Might said, which Bardock's eyes widen.

His mind went staright back to his latest vision of a boy on top of a mountain of trash. He knew that boy was Izuku, so he immediately accepted this training regimen. He then told Izuku that on a non school day, they will be going to the beach at the earliest time possible.

"I'll be giving you more details about your training when we are there, alright?" Bardock asks, which Izuku nodded.

Bardock smiled, saying that they all should head to Izuku's place, first to meet his mother to tell her about Izuku's training, but not about One for All, as that is a secret that she doesn't need to know. They all agreed and they headed off towards Izuku's place as the sun fully sets under the horizon.
