Chapter 7: Eating The Fruits of His Labour
[Location: UA High School's Entrance]
[Time: 9:41am]
Izuku have been standing outside of UA's gates, staring intensely at the large H shaped building for what felt to him like hours. Potential UA students passed by him, some whispering comments about Izuku being stupid to stand in the middle of the gate or wondering if they should call an adult for Izuku's wellbeing.
Soon, Izuku broke out of his stupor, remembering he is here for important matters, he is here to become a hero and he must complete the hardest test he has ever faced. He have been training with Mr. Bardock for all these months, he cannot disappoint him with anything less than a pass.
("This is my chance to become a hero, I can't be distracted like this. I need to go in, take the test and hope to be accepted by UA! For mom, for All-Might and for Mr. Bardo…")

During Izuku's thoughts, his foot got caught onto a loose stone on the path, causing him to trip and have his body fall towards the ground. In his mind, Izuku panicked, as he didn't want to go into UA with a bloody nose, but his body suddenly stopped in place, confusing the boy because he didn't activate his flight. Then he heard a feminine voice call to him from behind.
"Hey, you okay? Sorry for grabbing you there. It would be very unlucky for you if you tripped before the exams." Izuku turned his head and saw a girl with orange fire hair, styled into a ponytail that hung to her side, with teal eyes, and her arm holding onto the back of his shirt.
Izuku was speechless from her face alone. No one was as pretty as her has ever approached him, or has even bothered to talk to him. Then he realised she was holding him in place, and he jumped away in surprise, but then he apologised for his outburst, bowing as low as he could.
"It's alright, no need to apologise. I can understand. My name is Itsuka Kendo. What's yours?" The girl asked, and Izuku flinched a little when the pretty girl asked for his name.
"M…my name is M...Midoriya…Izuku." He said, unable to stop himself from stuttering.
"Well Midoriya, it's nice to meet you. Are you here for the hero exam, or are you pursuing one of the other courses at UA?" Kendo asked, wanting to make some small talk with the greenette.
"Oh, y…yeah, I..am. T…taking the h…hero exams, t…that is. I b…been training f…for many m…months to t…take the t…test." Izuku stuttered, unable to look her at her.
"Well so am I! My mother was a hero, and I want to honor her and become one myself. And my dad made sure I was prepared for the test." Kendo said, smiling and unconsciously flexing her arm, which Izuku noticed her muscles bulging underneath her jacket, which made him notice the rest of her body.
She was wearing a short sleeve white blouse with a jean jacket over the top with black leggings and white sport shoes. He also noticed her ponytail was being held by a pink bun.
"Hey! It's rude to stare, y'know." Kendo spoke up, ripping Izuku's eyes away from her body to her face.
"S…sorry, I d…din't mean to. I'm so sorry!" Izuku apologised with a beat red face, once again bowling down.
Kendo told him to not bow to her, saying they should stop wasting time talking because the test was about to start. Izuku nodded, seeing his phone displayed the time nearing 10 o'clock. Kendo told Izuku it was nice to meet him, and hoped she would see him in both testing fields, and to hope to be in the same class as him. Izuku watched her race, noticing she was much faster than what he would have expected, but he guessed she must have had some intense training to have speed like that.
With a breath of fresh air rolling into his lungs, he continued to walk; making sure he didn't walk into any more loose tiles, and entered the building.
[Location: UA Testing Room]
[Time: 11:38am]
The written test was finished and Izuku couldn't feel any better than he ever could. All the questions on the sheet Ectoplasm; one of the hero teachers of UA, gave them much easier than he would have expected, since this was a test to get into the top hero school in all of Japan, if not the world. But he guesses that all his studying he has been doing alongside his physical and mental training had helped him a lot.
Now, he and many of the other students who have attended the hero exam are waiting for the announcement for the practical exam. He didn't know what it entails, but all he knows from All-Might and somehow Bardock is that he will have to rely on his mind as much as he relies on his might. Looking around to pass the time, he decided to feel out everybody's energies as a quick practice. Most of the people in the room had quite normal if slightly above power levels. Mr.Bardock told him the average power level of a person is around 2 to 5, but he had no reference to pinpoint those numbers, only comparing their power to his, and he can feel they are nowhere near his power, but some did stick out from the rest.
Those with mutant quirks had a higher average power than those without, with the more their body was mutated, the higher their power was. But then he felt the outliers such as Bakugou's, which surprised him, as he was much stronger than he was expecting, since he hadn't had the chance to feel his power. Next he felt a power from across the room to a boy who stood tall and straight, with blue hair and glasses. His power felt strained and sparky, like his body was ready to release the tension he was holding.
Then he felt a large power from the stage, which is when the lights turned off and everyone's attention focused on the stage, where a pair of stage lights moved around and both stopped in one location, all the while a loud booming voice spoke over the intercoms.
"WELCOME, BOY AND GIRLS AND THOSE WHO GENDERS ARE UNDEFINED, ALLOW ME TO PERSONAL WELCOME YOU TO UA HIGH SCHOOL!!!" Then the curtains opened, revealing the man behind the voice, the voice hero, Present Mic.
"HEY, HEY , HEY EVERYBODY, THE NAME'S PRESENT MIC, AND I'LL BE YOUR INSTRUCTOR FOR THIS YEAR'S PRACTICAL EXAM! BEFORE WE BEGIN, CAN I GET A, YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAHHHH FROM THE CROWD?!" Present Mic finished his wavy movements and flamboyant voice with his hand on his ear, hoping to hear the lively cheers of the children before him, but silence, dead silence.
From the corner behind the drawn curtains, another teacher, Aizawa Shouta, held a small snort under his scarf.
("Dammit Hizashi.") He thought, finding the idea of his friend's failed attempt hilarious.
"Huh, tough crowd. Ah, I can't win them all. ALRIGHTY THEN, LET ALL FORGET WHAT HAPPENS AND MOVE ON TO THE MAIN ATTRACTION!!!" Present Mic spoke again, taking out a remote and pressing a button, which caused a projector screen to lower behind him, then the UA logo appeared on it from the projector from the back of the room.
During this process, Izuku was fan-boying Super hard, as Present Mic is one of his favourite heroes, not because he was strong or high in the hero ranks, but because he tunes into the hero radio show every evening after school, which is where he gets most of his hero trivia from.
It was fan-boying so hard, his muttering of such details were starting to disrupt the other students near him, including Bakugou, who told the nerd to shut up under his breath.
"TODAY, YOU ALL WILL CONDUCTING MOCK CITY BATTLES IN A SUPER URBAN SETTING!!!" Present began his presentation, clicking once more, switching the screen to show multiple locations of interest, each with assigned colours and letters from A to G.
"ONCE I FINISH MY SWEET ANNOUNCEMENT, YOU ALL WILL BE HEADING TO YOUR ASSIGNED LOCATIONS, WHICH YOU WERE GIVEN VIA YOUR ENTRANCE CARDS GIVEN TO YOU!!!" Present Mic spoke out watching the children inspect their slips of paper to see their locations.
"Hmm, it seems they are splitting us up, so we won't work with our friends." Bakugou finally spoke a word to Izuku, which made Izuku look at both their cards.
"Huh, you're right. Even though card numbers are one after the other, we have completely different letters." Izuku said, causing Bakugou to snap at Izuku to not look at the card.
"Hey, you looked at mine first." Izuku protested, causing the pomeranian to snarl.
"I only glanced at it. You are gawking at mine, face your eyes forwards before rip your eyeballs out." Bakugou threatened, making Izuku back off.
("Stupid nerd, ever since that day, he hasn't been scared of me. He has even started to speak back. But I'll show him, I'll show him why I am better than him.") Bakugou said in his head, focusing on the hero.
Next the screen changed again to show a miniature city with three silhouettes of robots, each with a number next to them, surrounding the city.
"NOW, FOR YOUR TARGETS OF THIS EXAM, YOU'LL BE FACING OFF AGAINST SOME OF UA'S BATTLE ROBOTS!!! EACH TYPE OF ROBOT HAS BEEN ASSIGNED A NUMBER CORRESPONDING TO HOW MANY POINTS YOU'LL EARN ONCE YOU HAVE DEFEATED THEM!!! EARN ENOUGH AND YOU'LL FOR SURE MAKE YOUR WAY INTO UA'S HERO COURSE!!!" Present Mic continued, showing a video of a chibi version of him and Midnight; another teacher at the school, destroying ROBOTS and their points going up; Chibi Mic destroying a 2 point robot, while Chibi Midnight destroying a 1 and 3 point robot, then she cheered for having a higher score and Chibi Mic whining on the ground for losing.
"Excuse me, but I believe there has been a mistake! May I ask why?" Present Mic's and everyone in the auditorium were snatched and brought to the same young man Izuku had taken notice of, now fully standing up and holding a piece of paper in his hand.
"YES EXAMINY 7-1-1-1, YOU CAN ASK ANY QUESTION YOU LIKE!!! As long as it's PG, y'know what I'm saying?" Present Mic said, pointing to the student and allowing them to speak out.
"On the print out sheet, it clearly stats that there are 4 combat robots, not three! UA is supposed to be the best of the best, and if this is a mistake, it is shameful to say the least, especially coming from the number one school in the country! We are exemplary students who wish to join UA, and become the best heroes we can be!" The boy announced, making the entire room, including the hero, sweatdrop at his rudeness.
"And there you there, the boy with scruffy hair!" The boy turned in place and pointed at Izuku, his stern glare now on him.
"You have been muttering this entire time, interrupting everyone here who has come here to become valiant heroes! If you think this is all a game to you, then you can leave! People like you shouldn't deserve to become one!" The grown boy spat out some of the harshest words Izuku had heard that weren't from his bullies.
Normally, Izuku would cower in fear and shut his mouth and look down, away from the how's glare, but this time, he wasn't afraid, he didn't feel the need to cower away, but instead stand his ground and stare back, boring his eyes into the boys. Izuiu felt his power surge inside him, but he kept it shut tight, not wanting to cause an even bigger mess.
"NOW NOW, YOU TWO, NO NEED TO STARE DAGGERS AT EACH OTHER!!! THAT IS VERY HEROIC, YA FEEL ME?!!!" Present had to break the two boy's staring contest, which made Izuku look away and sit back down, along with the boy two.
"AND FOR YOUR QUESTION, THAT WAS NO MISTAKE!!! YOU JUST DIDN'T ALLOW ME TO FINISH MY EXPLANATION!!!" Present Mic explained, clicking the remote once more and the screen had one more robot pop up with the rest, but it had 0 points instead.
"YOU SEE, THIS ROBOT ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ATTACKED!!! THINK OF IT AS A WHOMP FROM SUPER MARIO!!! MOST OF THE TIME, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT, BUT JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD!!!" Present Mic exclaimed, having the digital chilies of himself and Midnight run away from the 0 point robot; the Chibie Midnight having pick up and run away with Chibi Mic under her shoulder while Chibi Mic flared in fear.
("Do they have to make me look like an absolute idiot in these infographics?") Present Mic thought outlook, annoyed the video was making a fool out of him.
"WHICH IS WHY FOR THIS YEAR'S TEST, ANYONE WHO VOLUNTARILY ATTACKS THE 0 POINT ROBOT, WILL HAVE THEIR POINTS REVOKED!!!" This statement shocked the entire room, which then made a girl hold up her hand and ask how they were able to identify the 0 point robot.
"OH TRUST ME, YOU'LL KNOW WHAT IT'LL LOOK LIKE!!! THERE ARE ONLY 1 IN EACH BATTLE CENTER, AND WHEN YOU DO SEE IT, YOU CAN'T MISS IT!!!" Present answered the girl's question
Present Mic ended the ceremony, saying that is all the information he will give and everyone should start to move on to their designated areas before the clock strikes 12.
Izuku quickly finished writing all the information he gained from this hearing and rushed out the room, heading straight to the changing rooms to put on the gear Bardock left him specifically for this exam.
[Location: Teacher's Viewing Room]
From behind the scenes and through cameras littering the entire school complex, all the teachers of UA watch closely at the potential future students of their school. Present Mic was unfortunately not present, as he had to man the announcement tower during the practical exam, so he was left out for now.
Aizawa, the man who snorted, was sleeping in a yellow sleeping bag. Midnight, full name Nemuri Kiyama, was watching with pure ecstasy at all the young men that she could see, while she had a pole bonk onto her head for her hornyneas by the school's head nurse, Recovery Girl, or also known as, Chiyo Shuzenji.
"Stop that, you wrinkled old rat! Just because they are going through purity, doesn't mean you can perve on those poor boys!" Chiyo scolded the younger women, who pointed.
"Oh come on, you know I am just having fun. And who are you calling wrinkled?! You have more wrinkles on your face than there are quirks on the planet!" Midnight mumbled, then started to insult the older women.
"Watch your tone missy! I'll have you know, just because I am retired, doesn't mean I can't throw a punch!" Chiyo fought back, holding her cane tighter, ready to bonk Midnight over the head again.
"Now, now, ladies, let's not fight. We are here to look at some of the best contestants who believe they are good enough to become a part of our hero course." Nedzu said, drinking a cup of tea while sitting on a fancy red chair with gold trimmings.
"He is right. We should fight while the children are showing us their best. But a question to Nedzu, is there a reason he is here?" Ectoplasm, said, then pointing at the man sitting on the other chair having tea with Nedzu.
The man in question was actually Bardock, wearing some more comfortable clothing including a leather jacket with a white t-shirt underneath, while he wore jeans and shoes on his lower half.
"He is here to watch the boy he has been training." Nedzu said, taking a sip from his cup.
"Wait, the all powerful, extremely hot guy has a student?! Who is he, what does he look like, he is cute, wait, maybe it's a girl? Tell me, I want to know!" Midnight yelled in fury, wanting to know desperately who Bardock decided to teach.
"That is none of your concern, women. I'd rather keep the boy's identity a secret, especially from you." Bardock barked, taking a drink from his own cup, but with none of the furness like Nedzu.
"Oh please, Bardock. You're teasing me here. Wouldn't you want to let a woman experience satisfaction?" Midnight tried to use her seductive tactics on Bardock, but he grabbed her face and pushed her off of him.
"Your satisfaction means nothing to me. You are lucky not to be a Saiyan woman, because women were warriors first, breeding tanks second. And satisfaction was something unnecessary for them." Bardock dropped some Saiyan lore onto the women, and it left her speechless.
"Has anyone told you, you can be an arsenal sometimes?" Aizawa spoke up from his sleeping bag, hearing everything that was happening.
"I have been called worse." Bardock said, continuing to ignore everyone but the screen, seeing if he could spot the kid.
All-Might also watched the whole scene transpire, unable to believe these were going to be his fellow teachers. He had to deal with a horny women, an poorly taken care of man who, an overzealous speaker box, and an insane rat and strict old women, who he had dealt with for multiple years at this point.
[Location: Exam Area B]
Izuku was finished getting changed and when he stepped out of the changing room, he was wearing the new, prototype armour Mr. Bardock had given him. Apparently to his master, someone who is UA had been working on a suit to be more flexible and more form fitting, ditching the expressive shoulder and hips guards. His new suit was also supposed to have a skin tight suit that was just as flexible and durable as his armour, but it wasn't finished, so Izuku had instead wore a simple teal tracksuit underneath his armour, but he did have his gloves, so there was that.
When he made his way to the gate of exam field b, he had many eyes staring at him, since it isn't common for people to wear armour, especially middle schoolers. Izuku didn't care for their starring, as he began to focus on his energy and calm his mind.
While doing so, he felt a very familiar energy walking up to him, but he didn't act until the person placed their hand onto his shoulder. When he looked to see who touched him, it was the same boy who called him out for his mumbling earlier.
"What do you think you're wearing?" The boy asked, obviously offended by Izuku's hardwear.
"What do you mean, did I do something wrong?" Izuku asked, hoping to make this conversation cordial.
"That suit of armour! Why would you need to wear such a tacky piece of clothing? We are here to take an exam, not go to war!" The boy scolded Izuku, trying to use his height to intimidate him.
Izuku was not fazed, the boy wasn't scary, nor was his intimidating even remotely intimidating, instead Izuku gave the same energy back and then some.
From the bluenette's point of view, the air around the two of them began to thicken, and his breathing began to waver, as fell to his knees struggling for breath. Then the ground began to shake, frightening everyone around.
From the Teacher's secret room, the Teacher was frantically trying to figure out why this was happening; with Present Mic telling the children to calm down and make their way towards the UA building for safety.
Nedzu and All-Might looked at Bardock, expecting him to do something; since they both knew who was behind this, and Barsock sighed, raising his power level rapidly to have Izuku suddenly feel it, realising what he was doing and lower his causing, causing the tremors to halt and the air atmosphere around him and the bluenette to fill with air, allowing the boy of breath of fresh air.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to push things that far. My quirk is linked to my emotions, so I apologise. Hope you can forgive me." Izuku apologised, holding his hand out for the bluenette to grab.
The boy stayed silent for a second, but he didn't slap his hand away, and actually took it, standing to his full height and readjusting his glasses.
"I forgive you. And I would like to apologise to myself. I was being rude for a reason. It seems you are taking this test as seriously as everyone else, my apologies." The boy said, bowing at a 90 angle.
Izuku was flustered by the tall boy's sudden change in behaviour, but he said he forgave him, saying they should start anew with their names.
"My name is Izuku Midoriya, It is nice to meet you." Izuku asked, holding his hand out for a handshake.
"The name's Tenya Iida. It is nice to meet you too. May I ask what your quirk is, because I am curious how you were able to stop me from breathing.
Izuku explained he doesn't know much about how he was able to do that, the only thing he told Iida about his "quirk" is that he can control his own internal energy.
"That is an interesting power you have. Must it be hard on your body to control such an ability?" Iida theorised, as he saw many other people his brother worked with, have trouble with their own power.
"It was, but that is why I had trained under someone who could help me control the way I can now." Izuku said, smiling as he looked back at the many months of training with Bardock.
("How can they be so buddy buddy after what just happened?!") All the other students shouted in their mind, horrified the two of them were acting like a literal earthquake didn't just happen.
"ALRIGHT BOY AND GIRLS AND MY GENDERLESS PALS, PREPARATIONS HAVE BEEN DELAYED AND THE TEST WILL START SHORTLY!!!" Present Mic spoke from a speaker in a nearby tower.
Izuku looked down sheepishly, embarrassed he caused such a delay. Iida asked what the delay was even for, until Izuku said he may have caused a small tremor. Iida was surprised, then noticed the ground around them was a little uneven and cracked.
"I see, well, UA is a place for learning, and I can say I am nowhere near to perfecting my own quirk." Iida said, comforting Izuku.
Izuku thanked Iida, saying he appreciates his world, even if they just met. Iida said not to worry, as that is what friends are for. Izuku asked what he meant by friend, and Iida said he considered Izuku as his friend, unless he doesn't want to be, which he would fully understand.
"No, no, I want to be friends! I just never have many friends, so it was unexpected you would consider me as one." Izuku waved his hand in front of his face, telling Iida he would love to be his friend, then holding his fist out.
"Then I hope you do well in the exam. And I hope you can claim a space with some UA's best." Iida said, meeting Izuku's fist with his own.
"AND, BEGIN!!!" All the children stopped whatever gossip or conversation they had to look at the tower in the distance.
But for Izuku, he noticed the gate that was once closed was now open, and he decided to run ahead of the others, which made Iida yell to him to stop before getting in trouble.
"LOOKS LIKE SOME PEOPLE HAS THE RIGHT IDEA!!! VILLAINS WON'T WAIT FOR A COUNTDOWN FOR YOU, NEITHER WILL WE!!! NOW GO GO, BEFORE THE ONES AHEAD OF STEALING ALL YOUR POINTS!!!" Present Mic announced, causing everyone from every exam test area to rush into the urban cities.
From Izuku's point of view, he ran through the open and empty streets of the city. He has yet to see a single robot yet, but then he metal clanking together and when he turned to the noise, a 1 pointer appeared from nowhere and quickly rushed at him.
Izuku dodged to the side, causing the robot to spin in place and pointed its gatling guns at Izuku. Izuku quickly dodged all the bullets, using a new ability that leaves an after image of himself, which confused the robots sensors, and Izuku quickly destroyed the robot by ripping it in half then chopping off his head.
With that robot down, he focused on any more that would try and attack him, which came to pass as Izuku heard a barrage of rocket launchers head in his direction. Quickly thinking on his feet, he jumped over the rockets, holding himself off the ground by a light pole, and in the distance, Izuku saw a three pointer, loading its cannons for another attack.
"If you want to use explosives, so will I!" Izuku said, spinning around the light pole to launch himself into the air and with his hand, he formed a energy ball and then threw it at the three pointer, destroying it and the pavement it stood on.
("That three more points, just need to keep this up until time runs…") Izuku thought, happy with his small progress, until a 2 point robot appeared above him and walked him with its tail, sending him back to the ground.
He saw the 2 point robot still in the air and was ready to blast it to kingdom come, but a 1 point robot interrupted him and aggressively scooped him out of his crater and forcefully shoves into the side of random building #79.
Izuku was about to rip the robot's arm off his neck, but then it held a gatling gun at him and he saw the barrel start to spin. Thinking fast, he decided to target the head, then ripping off the arm with his leg, allowing him to escape to the middle of the streets.
This apparently has all robots nearby target him. 4 one printers, 6 2 printers and 5 3 points, all coming from all directions. Seeing he had no way to escape, he decided to take all these robots down before they began to pile on top of him.
Widening his stance, he crouched his body down and began to build his energy to the edges of his body. From an outsider's point of view, a white aura was appearing around Izuku and with it electricity. He waited for the right moment, when he both charged enough energy and when the robots were close enough.
As soon as most of the robots were literally on top of him, he released all his built up energy, letting out a screen that filled the entire street and neighbouring streets.
With his screen, the energy he built up was pushed in every direction instantly, both pushing the robots away and also destroying any that were too close, and for those poor robots that were piling on top of him, they were reduced to cinders.
The ball of fire also erupted from Izuku, consuming everything in its path, robots and buildings alike.
When the ball of fire disappeared and silence blanket the area, Izuku was left in the center of a small yet wide crater, on his knees and trying to catch his breath.
"That was too close. I shouldn't have used so much energy. I'm already down to 30% of my reserves." Izuku quietly said, standing to his feet and then feeling the energies of the other examinees.
("I think I should move to the outskirts. I don't want to hog all the points. I want others to try as well.") Izuku thought, picking himself up and heading away from the area he nearly leveled.
When Iida appeared to the area, he saw the destruction of Izuku, amazed at the level of control he had from not destroying the buildings, but was a little scared at the potential at what Izuku could do.
("I should not dwell on these thoughts. I'm here to become hero, and such thoughts will only slow me down.") Iida thought, making his way towards a group of robots, dashing past many examinees using his engine quirk.
[Location: Teacher's Viewing Room]
After Izuku had finished taking care of a handful of robots, the Teacher's, who had watched the entire thing, were surprised and impressed.
"Oh my! That kid is so strong and so flexible! Oh, I do hope he gets in, I can not wait to get my hands on him!" Midnight screamed with joy, but was again bonked on the head by Chiyo, telling her off again.
"Not just powerful, but he also is impressive in fighting capability. He wasn't just throwing his fists around, they were telegraphed and planned." Cementoss, a man with a cinder block head, commented.
"Yes, but he has a lot to work on. From here, I can tell that a large attack saps a lot of his reserves." Ectoplasm said, pointing out the flaw Izuku had caused himself.
"The kid isn't impressive. He is reckless and overconfident. What would happen if someone was nearby and was hurt." Aizawa spoke up, annoyed that the Teacher was praising a student that was obviously an over confident boy who thinks he was better than anyone else.
"Why didn't you stomp that out when you had the chance, Bardock?" Aizawa asked, glaring at the Saiyan, who didn't turn his eyes from the screens.
All the teachers were confused, then Midnight was the one to piece it together, something both her and the other Teacher's should have realised before.
"Wait, that boy is the one you have been training?! What have you been feeding him?!" Midnight screamed, shocked at how Bardock of all people was able to train someone like the green hair boy.
"Ask his mother that. All I did was help him train his body. Also, eye bags, the kid knew it was safe to use that attack." Bardock defended Izuku's choice of attack, but Aizawa didn't like his response.
"Bit there could have. And how would he know, he was surrounded by robots, he couldn't have the ability to see anything beyond them." Aizawa said, starting to get defensive with his statement.
Bardock Was about to stand from his chair, but Nedzu stopped him, telling the both of them there is no need to fight. He told Aizawa that Bardock is not a teacher, meaning he is allowed to be biased towards Midoriya, but he also told Bardock that as the teachers of UA, they are supposed to treat every student equally, and what Izuku did was impressive, it was dangerous.
"He did cause damage to the structures, which can be very costly depending on how much he damaged and what he damaged. So please, sit down and watch. I don't want you to kill my teachers." Nedzu explained, asking Bardock to not kill his favorite pet.
All-Might, having watched Izuku's explosive move, was impressive. He wondered if that was One for All, or was just from Bardock's physical training. Whichever it was, he was impressed and proud of the boy. He just hopes this power wouldn't go to Midoriya's head like it did for him when he first got One for All.
[Location: Testing Sight B]
6 minutes has gone by since the test started, and Izuku was actually having fun destroying robots and was also saving some examinees. First was a boy with purple balls for hair, where he was pinned to a wall from two 1 printers, and Izuku rushed in and ripped the heads of both of them.
"Hey, you okay? Need any medical attention?" Izuku asked, and the grape boy shakily shook his head, lifting up a terrified thumbs up.
Izuku nodded and continued his rampage of any robots. His next save was of a girl with an invisibility quirk. He watched her limberly mount the robots and slowly rip the outer armours of them.
But unfortunately for her, the 3 pointers had heat visions for their rockets, and Izuku had to save her when a pair of rockets targeted her.
"Hey, you okay?" Izuku asked, holding the invisible girl in a princess carry.
"uh, yes, I am. You are really strong." The girl said, able to feel the strong muscles under Izuku's tracksuit.
Izuku then realised he was talking to a girl, but also holding one in such an intimate way.
"Could you um, let me down?" she asked, and Izuku, blushing, quickly let her down, apologising for holding her like that.
"I don't mind. You saved me, and plus, you're really cute.~" The invisible girl teased, seeing Izuku red blush grow larger and hotter.
But their conversation was interrupted by the same three points, but before Izuku could attack it, the Invisible girl somehow jumped high enough to land on top of it and rip open a panel and tore apart some wires, shutting the robot down.
"Wow, that was impressive! Have you been doing that with all the robots?" Izuku asked and the girl nodded, saying her father taught her some things about mechanics, so she is able to pinpoint weak spots of the robots from a glance.
"Plus, it is easy to sneak up on them when they can't see me." She said, Izuku believing she was giving him a cheeky wink.
Izuku said that if they both appear in the same class, he can help her learn to use her quirk in different ways and some martial art techniques that can help her sneak by enemies.
"Sounds good to me! Oh, and the name's Toru Hakakure." The girl, revealing her name, said.
"My name is Izuku Midoriya, It is nice to meet you." Izuku said, holding a small hand out for Hagakure, but then felt a shadow loom over him.
Before Ozuku had a chance to attack the 1 pointer that snuck on him, he saw Hagakure leap over him and shatter the robot's head with a hard axe kick.
"Woah! Nice shot!" Izuku congratulated, impressed with Hagakure's physical strength.
"Thanks. Gotta go crush more robot butt! See you later Midoriya-kung-fu!~" Hagakure said, running off to increase her points.
Izuku understood, continuing to demolish any more robots he comes across.
Soon, 9 minutes had gone by and The test was nearly over. Nedzu pressed a button on the control panel below the monitors, and spoke through a microphone, telling Present Mic he is authorised to let the beasts loose.
"OH YEAH!!! FINALLY, TIKE TO REV THIS PARTY UP!!!" Present Mic celebrated, immediately pressing the big red button that has a zero on it.
Bakugou, another group of robots, added it to the pile he was slowly growing. He was enjoying himself too much, but why wouldn't he? He was allowed to use his quirk as much and as widely as possible, and he was allowed to destroy stuff. This was his dream.
"Yeah, come on! Face me cowards! I'll show why I will be number one!" Bakugou shouted, standing atop his pile of burnt scraps.
Then, out of nowhere, the ground began to shake, and it wasn't like the rumble before, this one was different. Instead of feeling like an earthquake, this felt like someone big was moving towards him.
When Bakugou looked behind him to see what the tremors were coming from, his eyes widened in both fear, and feral delight.
Kendo ducked under a 2 pointer jab, then sweep kicked its only other arm and used her other legs to smash its head when it was toppling over.
She felt exhausted, even with her father's intense training, this exam was testing her stamina really well. Not that she was complaining. She loved it. A true fighter would happily face a challenge that pushes their limits. She just wasn't expecting it to come from a school exam.
Then, before she could continue her hunt for more robots, the ground shook, violently as well. Looking around, she saw other applicants freak out, asking why there was more shaking.
Kendo had a suspicion on what it was. For the whole test, she has only seen 1, 2 and 3 point robots, but not a single 0 pointer. Unless they are incredibly rare that she just wasn't able to encounter one, or maybe, when Present Mic said it was meant to be an obstacle, they used a much larger size to be seen as one.
Hagakure hopped on top of another 2 pointer and pulled its wires out, shutting it off. Then a 3 pointer shot rockets at her, but before she would be hit by said rockets, she was aged once more by another boy, the same boy who called out Izuku during both the announcement and the beginning of the exam.
"Are you alright?" Iida asked, and Hagakure said she was fine, thanking him for the save.
"You're not the first person to save me." Hagakure said, smiling at him, even though he couldn't see her.
"Well, I hope you don't feel any guilt from it, even heroes must be saved every now and then. My brother taught me that lesson very well." Iida said, feeling prideful for his brother.
"Oh, you're talking about Egenium, right?" Hagakure asked, and Iida was surprised, asking how she knew.
"You have the same face and hair, plus your engine calves are a big give away too." She answered, pointing at his calves.
Iida said he should have thought about that, but before they could speak any further, the ground began to tremble, forcing the two to press their backs together.
"What is happening?! Is Midoriya releasing his power again?" Iida questioned, and Hagakure said this was different, as the tremors were not as intense as the ones before.
As the other students around them were panicking, Iida advised they should escape before the source of the tremors reached them, and Hagakure said it would be smart, as she left on Iida's back, freaking the bleeding hair boy.
"Wait, what are you doing?!" He asked, flustered.
"You ate much faster than I am, so why not use your speed to both our advantage.
Iida understood her plan and followed it, revving up his engine to run away from the tremors. Iida made sure to tell Hagakure to hold on when he released his quick.
"Resipro Birst!" Iida yelled, the fire from his engine turning pure blue and his sprinting speed picked up and he was over shadowing his normal speed by miles.
Hagakure looked back and saw what was actually causing the source of the tremors, and she told Iida to look back. When he did, his eyes widened at the mechanical monster that stood tall over them, making him stop his running in both fear and awe of it.
Bardock watched curiously at the monitors at the mechanical beasts erupting from buildings and from the ground, actually impressed in how large they actually were.
They were nothing compared to Siayan's Great Ape forms, but actually seeing one of these mechanical marvels, he felt his siayan instincts to ditch this chair and go out and face one of them.
("Maybe later, I want to see how the kid reacts to one of these.") He thought, feeling Izuku's energy to see what he would do.
Izuku was having so much fun, his energy reserves were slowly regenerating and his body began to actually tingle from all the physical activity this exam was giving him. But before he could actually push his body, the test would end in only about a minute; if he counters correctly.
Then when he heard blurring alarms near him, he suddenly felt the ground shake underneath him. This wasn't caused by him, but by someone else, something bigger. Much bigger.
Izuku narrowed his eyes, seeing a cloud of destroyed rubble and dust fill a nearby street, and when he focused his eyes to see what was causing it, his eyes widened in astonishment.
From the top of One of the buildings, a large, mechanical hand, held tightly to the top of the building, almost crushing it in both its grip and weight. Soon, the body this arm was attached to came into view, first the head, having 8 glowing red dots, and then another hand grasping the other building across the street. Then soon the body appeared, showing it has a roughly humanoid upper torso, while the bottom half was mounted onto a pair of large treads that shattered anything in its path.
("The zero point robot.") Izuku thought, impressed and amazed at UA's ability ro have such a large and dangerous robot.
He wanted to fight this robot, then may not get any points from it, but this robot would be a good yardstick at where his strength stood. So with a heavy breath, Izuku released 50% of his power, a white aura appearing around him, ready to fight the listral hulking robot.
But before he could throw himself at it, an examinee yelled at him to not attack, reminding him what Present Mic said. Izuku looked back and remembered Present Mic saying all his points would be erased if he destroyed this robot, and he didn't have enough time or energy to get back his points.
So, with sorrow, he lowered his power, and started to run, thinking it was smart enough to not attack something that gave no benefit to him.
But that all changed when he heard a yell from the robot's direction. Turning on his feet, he looked closely to see a girl with brunette hair, stuck under a pile of rubble.
"Oh no, she needs help!" Izuku yelled, rushing towards the robot, shocking all the students who were still running away.
When he got to the girl's side, he knelt down and asked if she was okay.
"Yes, I'm fine. My leg is just stuck. I think it has been twisted. Ah!" The girl explained, slightly moving her trapped leg and then feeling a wave of pain flew through her.
"D…don't move, I can help you. I am going to remove these rocks and I'll take you to safety, okay?" Izuku said, getting the girl's trust.
Izuku nodded slowly, removing the rocks one by one to not agitate the ones below and in turn, not crushing her foot even more.
With Iida and Hagakure, they just watched the robot from a distance, admiring the mechanical effort and teamwork that would have been done to create such a monster.
Other examinees were with them, some that were with them before, and others that had run away from the beast.
"Can't you believe someone actually tried to face off against that thing?! They're insane!" One of the examinees said, getting Iida's attention.
He approached them and asked what they were talking about and they explained that a boy with scruffy green hair, wearing a piece of armour had actually run towards it instead of away from it.
Both Iida's and Hagakure's faces went white; well one that was visible, and they both knew who this boy was.
"Midoriya!"
"We need to talk some sense into him!" Hagakure protested, and Iida had the same sentiment.
"You are correct, Midoriya seems to be capable of dealing with normal robots, but I doubt he has any shot at the zero point robot." Iida said, turning around and told Hagakure to hold on tight, because he will be running faster than he ever ran in his life.
Hagakure said she was ready for anything, and when Iida got the signal, he once more used his Recipro Birst technique, speeding off towards the robots, making all the examinees confused and flabbergasted.
Izuku had managed to remove the last rubble from the girl, and he carefully hurled her onto his back, who locked her arms around his neck.
"Alright, hold on tight!" Izuku said, rushing off away from the robot.
It was a good thing too, because any second before, they both would have been crushed. Then, with even more luck on their side, Iida and Hagakure appeared, both party's happy and thankful to see each other safe.
"Midoriya-kum, I thought you were going to fight the zero pointer?!" Hagakure shouted, surprised to see another girl on Izuku's back.
"I wanted to, but I needed to save her before she was crushed! Her leg got stuck under some rubble and I just had to save her!" Izuku explained, and a smile crept on Hagakure's invisible face.
"You really are a hero Midoriya-kun! I hope to be half as good as you are when I finish highschool." Hagakure said, and Iida agreed with her, saying he risked his own life to save another, nothing is more heroic than that.
Izuku smiled, happy to be praised for once in his life, but when he looked back at the robot, he saw it was still destroying buildings, causing more destruction, and a horrible thought came into his mind.
("What if someone is still there? What would happen if this robot was left to continue its rampage?")
Without hesitation, he stopped running, making Iida stop in his tracks, asking what he was planning.
"Take her, I need to take care of the problem before it causes more people to get hurt." Izuku told him, handing off the girl to Iida, now balancing her and Hagakure on his back.
"Wait, are you really going to face that?! That's insane!" The girl said, not expecting someone would be so brazen to fight something that big.
Izuku just smiled back, saying he will make sure no one will get hurt. With that, he turned his head back forwards and let out a scream, releasing all his energy to 100%, the same white aura now much bigger and more aggressive. This light show stunned the others, and before they could argue against Izuku's plan, he had already disappeared, leaving nothing but a trail of dust as they watched his aura shrink in the distance.
"C'mon Iida, catch him before he does something stupid!" Hagakure asked, but Iida said he isn't fast enough, and his engines are too over heated to do another Ricipro burst.
The girl was a little surprised someone would be so brave and so confident on facing the 0 pointer, but she was scared at what would happen to him if he actually succeeded. He would lose all his points, all because of her. Maybe if she was just a little stronger, she didn't need to be saved, and maybe the boy who saved her didn't need to sacrifice his points for everyone else.
Bardock felt Izuku's power explode to its full potential, and got excited, seeing that one of the cameras was locked onto what Izuku was doing.
The teachers were all impressed with Izuku's save, even Aizawa was complimenting Izuku's technique of slowly removing the rocks instead of using his strength to remove them quickly.
Then they went crazy as they saw Izuku rushing back towards it, and at such a great speed as well. Midnight was awestruck at Izuku's glowing aura, Aizawa was commenting on how well Izuku was running, and Nedzu, he was laughing maniacally, enjoying every single second of this.
Izuku continued to rush at the robot, not slowing down, but instead grew more speed, and when he saw the Robot's eyes were now locked onto him, he decided to end this mechanical beast in one shot, and he will go for the largest target. Its head!
Digging his feet into the ground, he was ready to leap into the air, and without his knowledge, a red veins of power flowed through his legs, from top to bottom. And with a literal sonic boom, he skyrocketed hundreds of feet into the air in nanoseconds, only meters away from the robot's face.
("I will not allow anyone else to be hurt! Not while I am here! GALAXY SMASH!!!") Izuku yelled, pouring every ounce of strength into his fist, the same red streaks appearing across his arm, along with sparkles of over-charged ki.
And just like that, the moment the 0 pointer was a threat to all the students, it no longer was, as Izuku's punch did not dented the head, it completely evaporated, along with half of its upper torso. But, the power was too much, way too much even for Izuku to make, and the very things that ripped the head apart, had to go somewhere, and the empty urban city wa the only place to go, so as soon as the robot's head were ripped apart, the air pressure Izuku created raced forwards, evaporating everything it came into contact with.
Unfortunately for Izuku, the power was also too great for his body to handle, so before he could dwell on the mistake he made, he fell unconscious, the power forcefully knocking him out.
Iida, Hagakure and the brunette watch in horrified amazement at the power Izuku performed, instantly evaporating the robot's head.
"How, how did he do it?!" The brunette said, unable to comprehend the level of power she just witnessed from a boy her age.
"I don't know, but what did happen is that Midoriya isn't only a good hero through words and actions, his strength is one that may rival All-Might himself." Iida said, gaining more pride for his greenette friend.
"Um, guys, is Midoirya falling?!" Hagakure pointed out, as the other two now saw Izuku's body falling to the ground.
"Oh no, from that higher, he won't survive! We need to help!" The brunette said, panicking.
"But how, I'm not fast enough to catch him." Iida spat at his helplessness.
He wished he could help, but the overuse of his quirk made it impossible for him to save his friend.
"I can help! My quirk allows me to remove the gravity of anything I touch. I can remove your gravity." The brunette offered, showing the pink pads on her fingers.
Iida said that is an excellent idea, telling her they shouldn't waste anymore time and perform their plan. The brunette nodded, touching Iida to remove his gravity, and he felt himself become weightless, but Hagakure jumped onto his back, telling him she can act as a small weight to keep him grounded. Iida understood her reasoning, and with the goal ahead Iida rushed ahead, leaving the brunette behind to lay against a building.
The teachers were horrified at the power Izuku performed, even All-Might and Barsoxk were surprised, Bardock moreso, as the power Izuku used was way more than the kid should even be capable of.
But then the teachers started to panic when the blast wave that was tearing its way through the city, had now broken through the wall that surrounded the test area, and it had no sign of stopping.
"Oh no, this isn't good! There is a city over that hill! If that blasted wave doesn't slow down, everyone there would be killed!" Aizawa said, visibly shaking in fear.
Bardock knew only he could stop this, and he wouldn't allow his student to have the burden of destroying a city on his mind right now, so just as quickly as Izuku dashed towards the robot, he blasted through the roof of the room and made his way towards the blast wave.
Bardoxk could see the city a couple dozen miles away, but saw the blastwave was heading close to it, but if he didn't do anything, it would still claim many lives. So, without hesitation, he placed himself between the city and the blastwave.
("Seriously kid, I'm impressed. This level of power is nothing like what this planet has ever faced before. But let us hope it doesn't for a long time.") Bardock though, placing both his hands in front of himself and charging to balls of energy.
With a mighty roar, Bardock let loose a blast of his own, one made of his energy, and it soon made contact with Izuku blast, both holding each other's path, and to Bardock's shock, his attack was being pushed back, which wouldn't do. Pouring more power into it, he was able to keep Izuku's attack place, but both attacks were u stable, and any instability could cause massive destruction.
"Alright, time to take this thing seriously! HHHHHHH AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!" Bardock roared, his energy rising to greater heights than he has ever done since he came to this pamet, and with control and precision he never had back on Vegeta, he was able to carry Izuku's blast wave with his own upwards into the sky, away from danger.
Bardock allowed himself to watch the two attacks spiral and rise into the sky, and past the clouds. A Second later, an explosion, one of great magnitude lit from above the clouds, and the force from it was so great, every cloud from the visible sky was pushed back, leaving nothing but an open, beautiful morning sky.
Bardock Was satisfied, making his way back to UA to see if his student was okay.
Iida continued to run as fast as he could, and he saw Izuku was almost at the ground, but he could make it, he just needed to push a little harder.
"Hagakure, I will use my Recipro Burst again, but only for a second!" Iida telegraphed to her, and she said to be careful, knowing what he wanted her to do when he said this.
When Hagakure jumped off from Iida, he activated his Recirpo burst, bit only for a second, but it was enough of a push for him to close the distance between him and Izuku, catching just meters from the ground.
Using himself as a shield, he rolled and took most of the brunt force of the landing he made.
Hagakure rushed to their side, seeing the scrap marks on Iida and was worried for him and Midoriya.
"Are you two okay?! Does it hurt?" Hagakure asked, scared.
"I am fine Hagakure-san. I am more worried about Midoriya. He was knocked out. Must have overused his quirk like I did. We need to take him and the girl to the infirmary, now!" Iida said, holding Izuku in his arms and standing up, but he stumbled and Hagakure caught him, holding him over her shoulders.
"Careful, I got you. Let's take this slowly. Don't want to cause anymore injuries. I believe the test ended ages ago, so there are no more robots." Hagakure said, helping Iida move with Izuku in his arms.
("Don't worry Midoriya, we got you.") They both said in their head, unaware of the similar thought from the other.

Okay, firstly, sorry for the late update. This chapter was much longer than originally planned, and my Internet went down yesterday and I forgot to upload it Sunday night, so I apologise. I hope you like this chapter because it is by far my most favourite of this story.
