Welcome back to the stage of history! As promised, since I have this listed of episodes I'll work on, I promised that after this we take Anne and the Plantars to Murkwell. So let's get this one out of the way.
Chapter 5: Taking Charge
It was once again another beautiful morning in the town of Wartwood in Amphibia. At the Plantar's farm, Sprig was bouncing Polly in the air while Hop Pop was reading a book. The pollywag was enjoying it, whooping and laughing all the while. Meanwhile, outside near the house, the Four Cae-Sillies, four caecilian comedians were practicing their act for when they should perform for Wartwood. Akira was looking at his phone. He grumbled as the phone had died and ran out of juice.
"Oh, darn it all," Akira groaned, "What? What's wrong?" Skittles asked, concerned, "Unfortunately, my phone has died," the boy responded, "Oh. That rectangular device thingy is a phone?" Skittles asked innocently. Akira knew that since they were never from Earth, they would have no idea what a cellphone is. Or any for that matter, "If I just had a charger, I hoped I could continue trying to contact my brother or friends to know where they are at. But I'm not holding my breath since I bet their phones died as well," Akira said.
"Sorry to hear that buddy," Skittles said sympathetically, "Hey, why don't you help us practice our comedy act. Who knows? Maybe you won't be so bored after all?" the young caecilian suggested. Akira thought for a moment. He might as well since there's nothing they can do about his phone at the moment now, "Eh, like I got a choice," he shrugged.
Suddenly, he heard Anne scream, "What?! What was that?!" Zeppy exclaimed, "Are we under attack?" Akira said, taking his wooden club and rushing into the house. The minute they heard Anne scream, the Plantars stopped what they were doing, with Polly bouncing off Sprig. Akira burst into the house and looked around. He then sees Anne pop out from the basement, but she seemed excited, "Guys, guys, guys, guys, guys! Look!" Anne squealed, showing her phone. The Plantars looked at her phone, joined by the caecilians, "What are we looking at here?" Polly asked.
Akira immediately recognized what was on her screen, "No way! Is that what I think it is?" he cheered excitedly, "Suspicion Island. It's, like, my favorite show. I got the new season and didn't even know it," she beamed, "It must have auto-downloaded before I got here," the girl then climbed out of the trapdoor and then used her foot to close it.
"Who's this Otto?" Sprig asked, not knowing what Anne said, "And how did you download him?" Polly continued for Sprig. She raised her eyebrow as she asked. Yep, just like Skittles and most likely the others, they don't know much about our Earth. Phones specifically, Akira thought. "Just watch," she said, tapping on the recap button on the screen. A recap began to play. The Four Cae-Sillies looked curiously as it began.
"Previously on Suspicion Island..."
The recap showed four survivors on an island looking around and trekking through a jungle, "I got a lot of feelings about this place," one of the survivors commented.
"Look! More Annes!" Sprig exclaimed excitedly, "Ha ha! They have noses," Polly giggled, "Intriguing..." Loofy inspected.
"I feel like everyone on this island is suspicious, Peruvia, except you!" a man with blonde hair said. As he said this, he looked to the side. He even put his hand on the woman called Peruvia's cheek, "But Randy, I think you're suspicious!" she accused, slapping his hand away, "No!" the man called Randy screamed before there was an explosion jump cut, showing Peruvia in a cave, seeing what looked like piles of bones. The announcer's voice came up again.
"Suspicion Island. If you don't stay suspicious, you won't stay alive."
An explosion jumps to the title.
Sprig, Polly, and the caecilians were wide eyed as they thought they had seen the most amazing thing in their life. Hop Pop on the other hand was not convince, "What is this demonic nonsense?" Hop Pop question, "Hop Pop, this show has got beautiful people doing dumb things while stuff explodes!" Anne excitedly replied, "It's literally perfect!"
Akira was hyped beyond belief now, "Whoa! That boy has tons of energy going through him!" Zeppy commented. Sprig and Polly were also hyped as well. Even the caecilians were now intrigued by the show. Never in their life have they discovered something akin to a show on another screen, "Awesome!" Sprig crowed, "Let's do it!" Polly shouted.
"Now hold on," Hop Pop said, "Instead of that garbage, how about I treat you to some real entertainment," he suggested. Polly and Sprig scowled, "Oh no..." they said, as if they know what their grandfather was going to do. Akira didn't know for a second until he saw Hop Pop pull a scrolled-up paper from his shirt, "A scene from The Shallow Pond," the grandpa frog announced.
He cleared his throat and then unveiled it. He began to read it, "Sadness. The world is sadness. But look. There. A pond! Is it deep or shallow?" The kids and caecilians were having none of it. Too curious, they began chanting, "Suspicion Island! Suspicion Island!" Finally, Hop Pop gave in, "Okay! Fine!" Hop Pop declared. All of them began to whoop in excitement, "But just one.
And so, up until night for several hours, they binged Suspicion Island's new episodes. For tonight, they were on their last episode for tonight. All but Hop Pop were watching with intent, as if they were on the edge of their seats, their eyes bloodshot. Hop Pop however showed no signs of any interest whatsoever. The final scene showed two teens on a cliff surrounded by pterodactyls, much to the ire of Akira since paleontologists have since stopped using the term pterodactyls. The term pterodactyl was completely outdated.
"It can't be, Vivica. These pterodactyls are clones of...my dead brother!" the man said.
Upon hearing this, Anne gasped while the rest had their eyes widened with surprise. Sometimes even their mouths were agape, "No way!" Anne exclaimed. Hop Pop just rolled his eyes.
The scene ended with Vivica being carried away by the pterosaurs, "Nooooo!" the man screamed.
It then showcased the perils the teens were currently in, "Will these beautiful teens ever make it off the island? Find out next time on-" Before the announcer could finish, Anne paused the video, "And that's enough for tonight," Anne declared. This causes Sprig and Polly to shake the teen girl, "Aw, come on!" Sprig complained, "This is torture!" Polly groaned.
"Trust me, guys. You gotta pace yourself with this stuff," Anne assured, "All right, you two grubs. Off to bed," Hop Pop announced. The frog kid and pollywag groaned as they slid off the couch and began walking up the steps, "How am I supposed to sleep without knowing what happened to Vivica and Chad?" Sprig complained, "Stupid sleep! I wanna watch it right now!" Polly ranted.
Skittles yawned, "Well, I think we'll use the stables as our sleeping quarters for tonight. Do you mind?" he asked Hop Pop, "Not at all," the grandpa frog said. The Four Cae-Sillies slithered outside to the stable to sleep. Akira, Anne, and Hop Pop sat on the couch for a few minutes before Anne spoke up. She grinned and did a playful elbow on Hop Pop, "So? What do you think, Hop Pop?" she asked, "Better than that boring stuff you read to us, right?"
"That "boring stuff" is called literature, Anne," Hop Pop countered, sliding off the couch, "And maybe, if you had an ounce of culture, you wouldn't reject it in favor of your substandard, puerile, garbage show!" he ranted before slamming the door. Anne jumped at the slamming of the door, "Sheesh! Tell me how you really feel," Anne commented.
Akira stood up from the couch, "Hey Anne?" Akira asked, "Yeah?" Anne said, "Thanks for hosting the Suspicion Island marathon. It may only be my second favorite show, but I had fun," the boy said, "Thank you. Uh, what was your all-time fav again?" she asked, "Titanicman of course!" Akira answered. He took a step back and performed several martial arts poses.
"Suspicion Island may be my second favorite. But Titanicman? I would say top of the billboard, Anne. A giant alien robot superhero from beyond the stars doing battle with a humanoid Tyrannosaurus emperor who commandeers magically enhanced dinosaur kaiju once a week? How can you go wrong?" Akira explained, "Plus hearing Sasha teach me courage was like hearing him and Tarantulad talk to me."
"Oh yeah, that's how we met, wasn't it?" Anne inquired, "Yep. That's right," Akira chuckled, rubbing his back. His face softened, "Unfortunately, I can't watch it right now since my phone no longer works," he said. Anne had a look of sympathy, "Let me guess: phone battery dead?" she asked.
"Yep. I've been mostly trying to at least get in contact with either my brother, Sasha, or Marcy. But I've had no such luck. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if their phones were out of juice too," Akira sighed. Anne smiled, "Don't give up, Akira. We'll find them. Have faith that they're here in this world too," she said. Hearing that made Akira giggle, "Heh. That's something Tarantulad or Titanicman would say,"
Anne giggled too. They both yawned, "Well, I'm going to join the caecilians in the stables. I need some sleep too. Good night, Anne," he said before exiting the house. Anne then went back into her basement and shut the door for the night.
Later in the night, all was quiet, minus the sound of the wind blowing and the ticking of the clock, everything was silent. Suddenly, a dark shadow slithered by and was above Anne's phone. The figure then played the next episode...
The rooster crowing can be heard as morning has now arrived. Akira arrived at the couch whilst Anne came with a bowl of popcorn, excited to continue watching Suspicion Island, "Come on, you guys! It's time to get...suspicious," she said, doing a pose of some kind. She turned the phone on to continue, only for the battery to start beeping, indicating low battery.
Anne and Akira were in shock, "Wait, WHAT?!" Anne screamed. The Plantars and caecilians came in, "What's wrong, Anne?" Sprig asked, "What's all the ruckus?" Hop Pop questioned, "Why are you screaming?" Polly asked, "What's all the hub bub, bub?" Zeppy asked.
"My battery is low. But it was fine last night when I turned it off!" Anne said. She then noticed that somehow, all the episodes are marked as watched. But that was impossible, "Huh? "Watched"? Who watched all these episodes and used up all the-" Anne was interrupted when the phone got on another alert. Anne began screaming "No" rapidly as she tapped on the screen. But the phone displayed a dead cat face and shut off, "Oh crud!" Akira cried out.
Anne gaped in horror as now with her phone dead, everything from home and no way of communicating with anyone if she could, was now gone, "It's gone," she whispered, "What's gone?" Sprig asked, "Everything! My pictures, my texts! Videos of my cat!" Anne wailed. She put her hands on her hair, "Now all my memories from home are gone!"
Anne began to panic and was hyperventilating. Akira was bamboozled, "Who did this?! Who would do such a thing?!" Akira cried too, "Um...there there?" Sprig asked, attempting to comfort the human girl. Anne slapped his hand away, "No! Was it you?" she accused, "What?! No! I didn't watch anything," Sprig defended, "It must've been Polly," he continued, pointing a finger at his sister.
"What?" Polly exclaimed, "I even heard her get up in the night. Very suspicious," Sprig said, "I needed to pee!" the pollywag exclaimed, "Plus, if you heard me, you were awake too. You're the suspicious one!" she accused. Sprig got into her face, "Don't change the subject," Sprig warned. But then Polly thought of something, "Wait, wait, wait, wait. What about..." Polly then pointed at Hop Pop who was cooking something, "...Hop Pop?"
"Heh! Me?" Hop Pop scoffed, "In case you forgot, I despise that garbage,"
"Exactly! Maybe you ran down the phone, so we'd have to listen to your boring play!" Polly fumed, "Oh, that's good," Sprig agreed, seemingly taking Polly's side, "That is preposterous! You sure Akira didn't do it?" Hop Pop said. This sparked a fire in Akira's heart that screamed anger, "WHAT?! I'm Anne's best friend! I would never go through her phone! My mom told me never to go through a girl's stuff! Plus, my phone is dead too!" Akira exploded, "Oh wait, I know, it was Skittles! What a sneak!" Zeppy accused, "Excuse me, what?! What about Loofy?!" Skittles roared, "Hey now, I don't even know how that thing called a phone even works. And I don't think Berry knows either," Loofy defended himself, "Well at least one person is on my side," Berry frowned.
The argument continued back and forth until Anne stood up and groaned in frustration, "Enough!" she screamed, "If none of you are going to admit to it, the least you could do is help me fix my phone," she recommended, "Honestly if this place had an outlet and I had a charger, I would've been able to do something about it," Akira sighed.
"Fair enough, Anne. How do we bring this thing back to life? Magic? Live sacrifice? I know a guy in town-"
"We need power. Electricity," Anne suggested, cutting Hop Pop off. This confused the Plantars as they weren't even aware of Anne was talking about, "Typical. He doesn't know what that is," Akira muttered.
"You know, zap zap?" Anne said. Hop Pop began thinking for a minute, ""Zap zap"?" Then the old frog had an idea of something, "Oh, I think I know what you're talking about," he said before raising his spatula, "Quick! To my study!"
The group rushed to Hop Pop study and the old orange frog took out a book titled, "Beasts of Amphibia", and set it on his desk. He opened the book and began leaping through pages to find the source of Anne's problem, "I've heard talk of a creature called the zapapede that lives deep in the Misty Peaks," he hypothesized, trailing a map on it, "It zaps its prey with a small spark of lightning. It's pretty cool, actually,"
"Sounds like it's worth a shot. So, how far away is this bug, HP?" Anne asked, "Don't call me HP," Hop Pop said before clearing his throat, "It's half a day's travel, but that should be no trouble for this gang," Hop Pop pointed out. Sprig slapped his grandfather's hand away, "Oh yeah? Well, that's just what Chad Vanderblad said," he said before pointing and shouting at Hop Pop, "Right before he was stabbed in the back by a backstabber on Suspicion Island!"
Hop Pop slapped both fingers away, "Watch where you're pointing that finger!" he warned, "I would never stab Chad in the back, but one of you two would," Polly accused pointing at them, "Hey! Everytime you point, two fingers point back!" Sprig said. Polly looked at her hands before looking at Sprig, "That doesn't make any sense!"
At this point, the Four Cae-Sillies began to slap each other with their tails, minus Berry, who whacked them with his mechanical hands. Akira facepalmed at this, "Oh boy..."
"Hey! Hey, hey, hey, hey!" Anne shouted, "You're all suspicious. Just look at you," she pointed out, putting her hands on her hips and looking at them with suspicion. Akira, the Four Cae-Sillies, and the Plantars blinked and looked side by side. Anne started for the door, "Now come on. Let's get going. The sooner we move, the sooner I get my memories back."
Both the Plantars, Four-Caesillies, and Akira began grunting and making gestures of "I'm watching you," as they headed out the door. Sprig even did the same with a grandfather clock before following up.
The group had begun to make their way on their trek to Misty Peaks in order to find the zapapede. On the way there, Sprig began singing a song while playing on a violin. Loofy decided to join in, playing the drums while holding a drumstick in his mouth
Sprig: A family Distrusts each other
On a dangerous mission
Like the nearly naked humans on the island of Suspicion
Peruvia, Felicia and Randy, so hot
Beguiling, hostile-ing
We're all Suspicious isle-ing
Hop Pop raised his hand to stop the music, "Quiet, boy," he said. He sees something on the peak, "Look! There's one now! A zapapede!" he noted. The zapapede in question was golden-yellow in appeared, had a v-shaped horn on its head which crackled with electricity, "Oh, looks pretty cute," Anne noted, "I'll say. I wonder if they're used anything. I mean, if this world has its own Thomas Edison," Akira replied.
Sprig stepped on the bridge. It began to creak, and it didn't help that the bridge looked decrepit, "Step lightly, everyone. This thing doesn't look like it can take much weight," Hop Pop warned. Everyone stepped slowly on the bridge. The only one who didn't were the caecilians as they were on Akira's back so that they could hold as much weight as they could. As they did this, Akira was talking to Anne, "You don't believe I did that, do you?" Akira asked, "I want to not believe it," Anne sighed.
"Oh, come now, do I look like a thug to you. I have my own phone, and as I said before, it's dead too. Plus, I would remember if I watched all the episodes," Akira replied, "Well...you're not guilty, but I won't say you're innocent yet. Consider it innocent until proven guilty," Anne noted. Akira sighed with relief. To him, it felt like everyone should exercise innocence until proven otherwise unlike many people do. He still felt what happened to his brother was not warranted and unjustified. But he couldn't bear to bring it up right now. Right now, they had a job to do.
As they crossed the bridge, Sprig yawned. Hop Pop saw this and looked at his boy with suspicion, "Sup, HP?" Anne asked, "Sprig sure looks tired, doesn't he? Awfully suspicious. And don't call me HP," Hop Pop inspected, narrowing his eyes at the boy, "The old man's a lying snake, but he does have a point, "Polly agreed, "Very suspicious," Skittles concurred. Sprig stopped in his tracks and then turned and pointed at the group, "You guys talking scum?" he accused, "What? No, no, no, no, no," Hop Pop denied. Sprig only narrowed his eyes at them. He motioned Anne to come to Sprig, "Psst. Anne," he whispered. Anne groaned and went to him before scooching aside, "Excuse me, HP," she said.
As soon as Anne was now close to Sprig, he motioned to the girl to come closer to his level. Anne lowered to his level and then Sprig looked to the side, "I want to find out who's guilty just as much as you do. Let me help you," he offered. Polly stepped in, "Oh no you don't! You were trying to Chad her into trusting you!" Polly accused.
"And you're trying to Vivica her into not trusting me!" Sprig retorted, "Oh, and look at Hop Pop trying to Randy his way out of this," Polly ranted, "I don't even know what that means!" Hop Pop argued, "And look at Zeppy, acting all innocent as always! I'm sure that he is suspicious too!" Skittles thundered. Zeppy gasped, "How dare you!" he shouted.
"No no no! Stop this right now!" Akira seethed, "Guys, cut it out! You're gonna-" Anne didn't have time to finish as the bridge finally gave way and the group fell on the side of the peak. The zapapede had its eyes open, which on one eye it was a negative charge, and the other was a positive charge.
At the bottom, the group was groaning in pain. Akira was on his back in pain, "Ow...never going on bridges like that again..." he moaned, "Rope bridge? More like nope bridge," Anne agreed. Hop Pop used one eye to look at them. He then saw something at the bottom, "Look! Down there! More zapapedes!" he noted, pointing down. Akira and the group saw the crackling electricity of the zapapedes, "They're pretty far down."
Anne grasped her closed eye in pain as she was thinking of something. She then had an idea, "Oh! Let's just link arms and lower someone down, just like the teens did in episode eight," she decided. Akira did a motion that mentioned that she shouldn't have said that "Ha! So that Polly can drop us to cover her tracks, just like Vivica did in the very same episode?" Sprig countered.
"You callin' me a Vivica?" Polly seethed. Sprig went into her face, "Maybe..." That's when Polly snapped and leaped at her brother. Soon fighting broke out, "Kids, no! Stop fighting!" Hop Pop cried. Polly twisted Sprig's arm and her brother put his finger in his mouth, covered it in spit, and inserted it into her ear. The fighting continued in a cloud of violence. Akira watched in horror as that happened.
"I guess that's what happens when you place your trust into a group that's suspicious am I right?" Zeppy asked, "Sir! Cut that out! You're suspicious too! I bet you're trying to cover your tracks as well!" Skittles shot back, "Oh yeah? What about Berry here?" Zeppy argued, "Why you...You sure it wasn't Loofy that isn't suspicious?" Berry snapped, "Oh that does it!" Loofy shouted. The Four-Caesillies got into a brawl.
"Hey, cut it out, you guys. Seriously," Anne scolded before Sprig accidently kicked her in the face. Sprig realized what he just did, "Oh, sorry Anne. You okay?" he asked, chuckling nervously. Something within Anne snapped as she shoved Sprig's foot aside, pulled up her sleeve, and then shouted as she partook in the brawl herself.
"Oh no!" Akira cried, "Guys, stop this right now! This is getting us nowhere!" Akira said before Zeppy's tail smacked him, "This is none of your business kid!" he reprimanded. Skittles looked in horror as he saw Akira take a step back and then, with a club in hand, began to go in the brawl with the caecilians. Now each group had a cloud of violence.
Hop Pop couldn't stand the sight of this, "Hey, kids! Stop fighting!" he begged. But none of them were listening. Anne was pulling on Sprig's arm while Polly was pulling on his eyelid. Meanwhile, Akira was tangled in the caecilians and Berry smacked him with his mechanical arms.
Hop Pop was now under pressure. It was then he shouted the biggest twist to stop it all...
"IT WAS ME!"
His confession echoed throughout the peaks.
This confused the group. Anne got off of the two frogs and Akira stopped fighting with the four caecilians. Even Akira was shocked, "What?!" he said, "You mean?" Anne started, "That's right, Anne. I watched all the episodes. Every single one!" Hop Pop confessed, "But, you hated Suspicion Island," Anne reminded, "Hated it? Hated it?! I loved it!" Hop Pop cried. He began to confess everything that happened.
"Ever since the end of that last episode, I-I couldn't sleep. I fell in love with those crazy kids on their crazy island. I couldn't get enough! I did the only thing I could. I snuck out to the livin' room to watch another episode. I vowed only to watch one, but Suspicion Island had its hooks in me! And before I realized what had happened, I'd finished the season! With dawn approaching, I covered my tracks and made my escape."
"Unbelievable," Anne gasped, "What a twist!" Sprig marveled, "Well, what do you know? The old man admits it," Zeppy boasted. Hop Pop closed and opened his eyes, and then walked over and grabbed Anne's phone, "But now, I'm gonna make things right," he said, "I will redeem myself!" he shouted before leaping off the edge into the zapapede pit.
"Hop Pop!" the group cried. They rushed over and somehow, Hop Pop was unharmed and on top of the zapapedes, "I'm okay!" Hop Pop called back. So far, he wasn't zapped yet, "You know it's actually kinda relaxing!" Hop Pop replied. The zapapedes then began zapping Hop Pop over and over again. The group was watching in horror.
"He can't last much longer!" Sprig cried, "We have to work together!" Polly shouted. Sprig used his tongue to use a tree stump as leverage. Anne inhaled and then exhaled as Polly grabbed onto her foot. Then they leaped into the zapapede pit. They stopped inches from Hop Pop.
"Come on, guys! We gotta help them! Be ready to pull them out by Sprig's tongue!" Akira instructed, "Right!" the caecilians agreed. Akira and the Four Cae-Sillies grabbed Sprig's tongue so that they would have an extra boost to pull out of the pit. Anne reached out to Hop Pop, "Almost. Nearly there," Anne then grabbed onto his foot, "Got him!" But then she forgot something, "Oh, wait a second."
It was then that the zapapedes gave a nasty shock to the entire group that they shot up into the sky, covered in soot and screaming, "We're blasting off again!" Akira screamed as they then crashed near where they were beginning their trek towards the peak, "Ow..." he groaned.
The group groaned in pain as they were sizzling, covered in suit, some of their hair was sticking up from the electricity, "Well I've had better days," Akira groaned. A beeping sound was heard from Anne's phone and Hop Pop saw it was fully charged. But not just fully charged. It was at 10,000%.
"Holy smokes. That's a lot of percents," Hop Pop noted. Akira heard a beeping sound too. He took out his phone from his pocket and saw his phone was charged too, to the same percent as Anne's, "Whoa! My phone's charged too...hold on a minute. Berry, couldn't we have just used your joy zapper to charge my phone earlier?" Akira asked, "Don't be ridiculous. It doesn't have the same voltage as those zappy bugs," Berry disagreed, "Still. It would've been worth trying you know," Akira countered, shrugging his shoulders.
"So, you love Suspicion Island, huh?" Anne asked, "Yeah..." he sighed, "And I'm sorry I lied and drained your memory box. Can you ever forgive this old, silly frog?" he asked, "Dude, you just risked your life to recharge my phone. I think we're square," Anne beamed. Hop Pop smiled and handed the girl back her phone. Sprig and Polly were watching this. Sprig uttered an "Awww," and smiled, "Really glad I didn't push you off a cliff like I was planning," Polly joked.
"Me too, Polly. Me too," Sprig laughed. Akira looked at the caecilians. He sighed, "Guys?" he began, "I know...I'm sorry I accused you all. In fact, we're all sorry for accusing each other," Zeppy apologized, "Sorry I beat you guys up too," Akira apologized back, "Don't sweat it, my boy. You know, we just realized something," Loofy replied.
"What is it?" Akira asked, "You actually partook in the brawl too. I think you got some slapstick in your blood. As a matter of fact, hey, this could make a good slapstick skit," Berry responded. He took out a sheet of paper and pencil and wrote down the idea. He handed it to Zeppy for inspection. He looked at it and with his tail, used a stamp to stamp the words, "Approved" onto the paper, "Done!" Zeppy replied, "Wow. Didn't see that coming," Skittles replied.
"All right, enough fiddle-faddling. We gotta get home so you guys can finish the season. If I don't talk to someone about it soon, I'm gonna explode!" Hop Pop instructed, walking off. The group followed the old frog back to their home, "I mean, that part where the island itself is revealed to actually be-"
"No!" Polly screamed, "Oh, come on!" Sprig also screamed, "Dude, spoilers!" Anne cried, "King Tyrant demands your silence!" Akira shouted
The next day afterwards, the group had finished the season of Suspicion Island. Needless to say, the group enjoyed it, "That's how you finish up a TV show!" Anne said, "Oh my goodness indeed!" Akira said. He then stood up and then inhaled and exhaled, "But now...with Suspicion Island finished, I think it's time I introduced you to another," Akira said, taking out his phone. "Oh snap..." Anne said, containing her hype.
"Ooh, another?!" Sprig shouted, "More please!" Polly shouted also, "What's this one, Akira?" Hop Pop asked curiously. Loofy did the drum roll, "Allow me to introduce the greatest superhero TV show next to Suspicion Island. I present to you: Titanicman!" Akira announced, turning on the recap of Titanicman. The announcer's voice, unlike Suspicion Island, had a voice of hype...
"Previously, on Titanicman!"
It showed a humanoid Tyrannosaurus dressed in a sci-fi-esque royal king outfit as he slammed his staff onto the ground, summoning a kaiju-fied Brachiosaurus, made of water and rocks.
"Now I suppose why you're here. Let me tell why...DESTROY TITANICMAN, SAURO POSEIDON!" King Tyrant ordered, showing a hologram of Titanicman. The kaiju called Sauro Poseidon roared and was teleported to the city, where it began to wreak havoc across the city. A servant robot stepped forward and pressed a button on his wrist communicator and did a superheroic rise. Armor began to attach to it, and he became a cross between a super robot and a knight, helmet plume included. He then began to fight the dinosaur.
Hyped beyond all belief, the group began to watch the show, starting with the first season.
That's all for now! Next chapter, we're going back to Murkwell for the reenactment of how the town equivalent to Venice was founded. And this time, Anne and the Plantars are going along for the ride. Ta ta, for now!
