Home For The Holidays:

(Okay, time for our part 2. Also, to Klonoa, ur not pressuring me. If anything, I'm fine. I'm just glad u like the stuff I write! Also, Ahonui's form is Midnight. Anyways, let's get into it! Enjoy!)

Hiroshi had his driven the car the rest of the way. "Here's hoping my brother didn't beat us here." Hiroshi said to his wife, "You know Grandad wouldn't get a head start on those sweets, Daddy." Mai had said to her dad. "Haha! I don't know about that, sparky." Hiroshi said, laughing a little, then taking a left turn. "Sunny had pulled out a few of his frubbles and tried to throw one at Mai. "Wha—Sunny!" Mai said, angrily. "Snow-Frubble Fight!" Sunny said, "Sunny! No Frubble-Fights in the car!" Evelyn said to her son.

"But we're almost there! I gotta get ready for the snowball fights." Sunny said, completely excited. "Not in the car you won't." Hiroshi said to his son. "Yeah, they're too sticky, Sunny!" Mai said, with Kazuki rattling his toy happily to care.

The young Froakie had pouted, "But Yasuo's gonna be there…" Sunny said. "You can wait, sweetie." Evelyn said. "Now pick up your frubbles and get ready to throw them."

(Later)

Hiroshi parked the car in the complex's parking lot, taking the key out and putting it in his pocket. "All right, Sunny, let's clean out the frubbles." Hiroshi said, he and Sunny getting the frubbles out of the car. Evelyn had gotten Kazuki out of the car while Mai helped her with the baby's bag.

"Looks like we got here at the same time!" Ahonui's voice came from behind the Greninja, "Hey, bro!" Greninja hugged his brother, "Uncle 'Nui!" Sunny had hugged his uncle. "Hi, Sunny! It's great to see you! Yasuo, come say hi!" Shinji called out to his son, the little Oshawott coming over. "Sunny!" Yasuo said, happily. "Momma, he's here! Come on, Momma!" Yasuo said, impatiently.

"I'm coming, puppy, I'm coming. Hiro, 'Lyn!" Miyo had greeted them and embraced her brother-in-law. "Mimi, how's the kimono design coming?" Evelyn asked, "It's really wonderful! I can't wait for you to see it!" Miyo said, then holding her arms out for her nephew and niece. "Hi, sweeties!" Miyo said, "You're getting so big, it's not fair…"

Ahonui had been given Kazuki to hold, "It's great to see you, my favorite little pin-cushion." Ahonui said, "My baby is NOT a pin cushion. And you aren't exactly dull yourself, Lunar-Claw." Hiroshi said, snippy. "Don't bring up my old nickname." Ahonui said.

"Honestly, I've been waiting at the door and you can't even get into the front door without arguing." Yasuo had said, folding his arms. "Mom, come on, don't shapeshift into my son." The Lycanroc said. The real Yasuo was next to his Momma, while the simulacrum had turned into her true form.

A Hisuian Zoroark with her hair tied into a few braids, "It's been too long, boys." Mizuki said to her sons as they hugged her. "Merry Christmas, Mom." They both said to her, "Merry Christmas. Now…" Mizuki then grabbed them both by their ears. "Tell me why it is that you haven't called me?" She then said, sternly.

"I've had work!" Ahonui explained, "Mom, I called you last week!" Hiroshi then objected his mother's claim. "Also, I have my son in my arms, please stop!" Hiroshi backed away and Mizuki then got a look at the young Chespin. Kazuki had babbled happily when he saw his Dada look back at him. "Carrying on the tradition, I see." Mizuki smiled, "I'm glad you're here, Kazuki." She then said, rubbing the boy's head.

"It's nice to see you again, Mizuki." Miyo said, politely. "Likewise, Miyo. How could I forget the beautiful one who makes my Ahonui smile?" Mizuki said, hugging her. "My dear Eve…It's so great to see you." Mizuki then said, embracing Evelyn happily. "I'm happy to be wanted by you, Mizuki." Evelyn said, hugging her back. "Now where's my grandchildren hugs? Come on, I know we're big family, but you can still hug your Gran." Mizuki then said, smiling warmly.

"Gran!" Sunny, Mai and Yasuo then said, running to hug her. "Oh, my little loves, how you've grown." She then hugged her children. "I hope you boys have been doing great in school. We'll talk more inside, Grandad's waiting on us." Mizuki said.

(In The House)

Mizuki let them into the house and they saw the Alolan Ninetales sitting on the couch, watching the tv. "Oh hi everyone, what's the occasion for you all being here?" He asked, "Dad, you're not THAT old." Ahonui said. "Hahaha, you got me! Merry Christmas, everyone!" Iokoa had gotten up from the couch and walked towards his family.

"Merry Christmas, Grandad!" Yasuo was the first to step in and hug him. "Merry Christmas, Yasuo." Iokoa said , happily resting his head and rubbing against the Oshawott's head. "Come now, I know I don't have ONE grandchild." Iokoa urged his two other grandchildren to hug him. Sunny and Mai had walked over to and cozied up against the Ninetales' fur. "Merry Christmas, my dear pups." Iokoa said to them.

"Merry Christmas, Grandad!" Sunny and Mai said to him. "So, did you make any sweets this year, Grandad?" Mai asked, "Sweets…sweets…Ah, I may have forgotten this year, Mai. I'm sorry." Iokoa said, a smile still on his face. "Grandad, don't lie! Momma says liars belong in time outs!" Yasuo said. "Nonsense! I would never lie about sweets." Iokoa said, his son smiling and sighing. "If Grandad didn't make any, kids, I'll make myself useful and make some, Yasuo." Hiroshi said.

"Oh come now Hiro, you don't need to do that. I was only kidding. This year, I made ornament themed cupcakes. They'll be red-velvet and chocolate." Iokoa explained.

"Cupcakes!" They three kids cheered, "Hahaha. Anyways, it's great to see you, my boys." Iokoa said to his sons.

Hiroshi and Ahonui had hugged their father, with him embracing them. "It's great to see you, Dad." Hiroshi said to his father. "Sorry I haven't called you in a while, Dad." Ahonui said.

"Oh come on, I'm sure you've been busy, boys. Just make sure you give your mother an apology. Hello, little Kazuki." Kazuki looked directly at Iokoa and grabbed his nose. "Merry Christmas to you, too." Iokoa remained happy as his snout was grabbed by the baby.

"My wonderful daughters-in-law. It's great to see you!" Iokoa said, with Miyo and Evelyn hugging Iokoa at once. "Please, make yourselves at home. Kids, don't touch the vases." Iokoa told his grandchildren. "Okay, Grandad. Can you go get ready so we can play outside?" Sunny asked, "Oh, uh…please?" Sunny then corrected himself.

"Sure, give Grandad a moment to stretch his legs, I'll meet you out there." Iokoa said, stretching his legs.

(Out in the back)

Mai had sat in a chair while Sunny and Yasuo started prepping their snow weapons. "Ok, remember what Gran said, we can use ONE Move, but we can't use it to hurt each other." Sunny explained the rules, "Got it! I better not catch you cheating with frubbles, Sunny!" Yasuo said, determined to win.

"Okay, begin!" Sunny gathered up all his snow and began to throw snowballs at Yasuo. Meanwhile, the Oshawott-in-question was using his scalchop as a weapon to cut through the snowball.

"You can't hit me! Razor Shell!" Yasuo charged up his energy and heated water had emerged into a blade on his scalchop and used it to block off ALL of Sunny's snowball attacks.

"My turn! Hyaaahh!" Yasuo then grabbed a few of his own and then threw more at Sunny. "Counter!" Sunny then said, red light surrounding him for a moment.

Mai had joined in and threw two snowballs at the boys. "Wha—Hey Mai, that's not fair!" Sunny whined. "I snuck up on you and I didn't even need Moves for it." Mai had said, "You weren't even playing! You didn't say you wanted to!" Yasuo then scolded her. "I'm waiting in Lorn to call back and he didn't pick up yet. I figured I'd try to play at least once."

Iokoa had then walked outside, "I hope you haven't started having fun without me." Iokoa said, "I can't wait to show you kids something great I learned!" Iokoa said, "It'll have to be tonight, because you'll be able to see it better." The kids looked at their grandad, their interest piquing. "What'd you learn how to do, Grandad?" Mai asked, "I learned how to use a new Move! But I won't spoil surprises, come now, Mai." Iokoa said, happily.

"All right, let's see how well you fair against me in a snowball fight!" Iokoa then used the opportunity to shoot snow at his grandchildren, however at least Sunny and Mai were able to dodge out of the way. "No!" Yasuo tried to run for cover and he hid behind a tree to prepare the icy weapon.

(Meanwhile)

"Okay, the food's almost ready. Hiro, 'Nui. Make yourselves useful." Mizuki said to her boys, "Coming, Mom." Ahonui said, picking up a couple of oven mitts and then going to pick up a tray of food. "Hey, Evelyn. Can Kazuki help us out?" Ahonui said, joking. "He'd probably just eat the oven mitt. Besides, you've got this." Evelyn said, Miyo laughing at the remark.

Hiroshi turned off the stove for the pot of berry sauce Mizuki had made. "It's nothing compared to your dad's cooking, but it should be acceptable." Mizuki said, "Nonsense, Mom. You did great with the sauce." Ahonui said, encouraging that she did great. "Yeah, way better than anything Ahonui could make." Hiroshi said, "Hey! At least I could fight better than you." Ahonui said. "Yeah yeah, but since you're a construction worker, that doesn't really matter." Hiroshi then waved his hand.

Ahonui had only smiled, with a bit of wounded expression evident in his eyes. Then, the two of them were both met with mild hits to the head. "That's enough, you two. Help. Now." Mizuki said to her boys.

"Sorry, Mom." They both said. "So, how are you and Dad doing since last week, anyways?" Hiroshi asked. "I mean, we've been doing good. I went to go see Annie the other day. She said her daughter is getting married. We'll be heading to the wedding in January." Mizuki explained. "Sky's getting married? To who?" Hiroshi said. "Daddy, can you join the snowball fight outside?" Sunny asked. "In a minute, raindrop. Let me help Gran first." Ahonui then pushed his brother to go out there. "You go ahead, I'll help Mom with the rest of the food prep." Hiroshi had looked reluctant. "Go, sweetheart. I'm sure you and your dad can tag-team." Mizuki said, "Not sure about that, Mom. YOU were always better at fighting than Dad." Hiroshi said. "You'll be fine. How bad can the snowball fights be?" Mizuki then said, with Ahonui letting out a small chuckle.

(It Begins)

"Dad, run!" Hiroshi said, jumping into a tree and try to fire a snowball at his daughter. Again had smirked and kicked it right back at her dad, knocking him out of the tree. "Nice try, Dad!" Mai said, while Yasuo and Sunny had decided to throw snowballs at their running Grandad. "Didn't you kids hear me? I called an armistice!" Iokoa said to his grandsons, "Your arms aren't sticks, Grandad!" Yasuo said, throwing another snowball at them.

"He's trying to trick us again, get him!" Sunny said, jumping and throwing another snowball at Iokoa. "Boys, I meant no more snowballs…" Iokoa said, "Oh…okay. Come on, Grandad, let's take down Uncle Hiroshi!" The young Oshawott said, "Whoa whoa whoa! Why don't we do something else?" Hiroshi said, not coming out of the tree. "We can build a Snow-mon or something?" Hiroshi suggested, deciding to negotiate that they couldn't overpower their kids's energy.

"Hmm…Good idea, Dad. Come on guys, let's go look for rocks!" Sunny suggested. "Okay, I'll ask Momma if I can get a carrot nose." Yasuo said, running inside while Hiroshi's children looked near the patio for the rocks.

Iokoa and Hiroshi sighed, "I told Mom we weren't cut out for this." Hiroshi said, with Iokoa laughing. "Don't sell yourself short, son. You did pretty well to avoid getting hit." Iokoa said, "Honestly, I'm thinking of all the times you, Mom and Ahonui played out in the snow." Iokoa then remembered those times. "Yeah, then you'd come out and say you made cookies or macarons." Hiroshi said, "Mom would get on me for eating them too much."

Iokoa smiled, "So, how are you and Evelyn, son?" He asked his son. Hiroshi looked a little to his side, "We're doing great, but…I felt like I messed up on something, Dad." Hiroshi then explained. "I…reminded her of her childhood…and…I made her cry." Hiroshi explained. Iokoa had looked at him, "Well, explain it to me and let me see if I understand." Iokoa told his son.

Hiroshi had explained how the night before they made it here went.

"I see…Well, did you comfort your wife?" Iokoa asked, "Y-Yes?" Hiroshi said, like it was a question. "Did you tell her she wasn't alone?" Iokoa said, "Of course!" Hiroshi said, "Well, what are you worried about, son?" Iokoa said, "She's not mad at you, right?" Hiroshi shook his head no. "You reminded your wife she isn't alone. She doesn't hold anything to you, Hiroshi. You have nothing to be upset at yourself for." Iokoa said, "Now if it was Mom out here talking to you, she bonk you on the head and call you an idiot." Iokoa said. Hiroshi smiled and laughed, "Yeah, she would." Hiroshi said, folding his arms.

"Come on, don't be so sad on Christmas, son. After all, we got our families and our baking to look forward to." Iokoa said, "Haha, you're right, Dad." Hiroshi then said.

"Daddy, we found some rocks!" Sunny said, excitedly. "I got a hat from inside, too!" Mai held out a small hat. Yasuo brought out a carrot, "I got the carrot. But Dada and Gran said the dinner's in trouble when I was in there! I wanted to help, but Momma said to just go back out here!" Yasuo then said, handing the carrot to his Uncle. "I'll head inside to help, then." Hiroshi said.

(Later that night)

Iokoa, Ahonui and Hiroshi had sat up on the balcony of their house. "So, your mother got on you both again during dinner?" Iokoa asked. "She didn't hit us hard, Dad." Ahonui said, waving his paw to drop the matter. "Not saying she did, pup." Iokoa said.

"Still, the next time I'm left out of building a Snow-Mon, I'm taking all the sweets." Ahonui said, "How old ARE you, Ahonui?" Hiroshi said, folding his arms. Iokoa then sighed, the arguing of his sons reminded him of the good old days.

"Back then, you two and me would sit up here and look at the stars." Iokoa reminisced a little with Hiroshi placing a hand on his dad's back. "Yeah, and we'd have lollipops, too." The Greninja said. "Honestly, you boys have come a long way…you got married…took in children of your own…" Iokoa wondered where time had went and gone.

"Come on, Dad. We're still making the most of it. The best part about the holidays is that we get to see you." Hiroshi said. "Besides, if we didn't grow up, you wouldn't get to have grandchildren, you know?" Ahonui said, reminding his dad of the fun they had outside in the snow.

"Haha…Yeah, I suppose." Iokoa said, with the rest of the family walking up to see the three of them. "The kids wanted to see the move." Mizuki folded her arms. "Yeah, Grandad. You said we could see it better at night, right?" Yasuo asked. Iokoa had smiled, fondly.

"Which reminds me." Iokoa stood up on his legs and then used the new move he had learned. "Aurora Beam!" Iokoa said shooting a bunch of colored lights into the air.

"Whoa, Dad. You learned Aurora Beam?" Ahonui asked. "You think your father has been acting like he retired?" Mizuki asked her son.

"Whoa…Mai, look at that one!" Sunny pointed at one of the colors, "You can still see through them and look at stars!" Yasuo pointed out.

"Beautiful, right? It's not the real thing, but this is close to something called the Northern Lights." Iokoa explained to his grandchildren.

"Another name is the Aurora Borealis." Ahonui said, remembering what he knew. "Whoa…"

"See why it's better to see them at night?" Iokoa explained, with Mizuki moving right next to her husband, Kazuki in hand. "Here, sweetheart. Look at the pretty colors." Mizuki said. Kazuki babbled on as he looked at the lights in the air.

Evelyn smiled and walked up to her love, "Not the only thing that's beautiful." She said to her husband, kissing him on the cheek. Hiroshi had smiled. This was why he loved visiting his parents. An Ito Family Christmas always is great to enjoy the holidays.

(Okay, we're done. I hope you guys have fun this year. I loved writing Hiroshi and Ahonui taking after their parents a little. I will try to figure out who the next character chapter will be. I'm thinking either Kekoa or Josephine. Anyways, stay strong and awesome! Merry Christmas and I hope you have a happy new year!)

Luke 2:8-14 KJV:

8. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14. Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, good will toward men.
