"Now, what to do in this situation?" Eli thought dryly, unenthusiastically attempting to wiggle free from Verosika's embrace.
"To think that asshat had a kid working for him." Verosika said, mockingly. "Either he's desperate, or he's sunk lower than I thought." She let out a dramatic sigh before her lips curled into a teasing smirk. "Anyway... what's your name, cutie?"
Eli recoiled slightly. "Stranger danger." He muttered, slipping free from her hold with an ease that startled her. He turned toward the door, only to stop in his tracks as one of her crew members stepped in front of him.
"Hi, babe." The succubus greeted smoothly. "Name's Milky." She leaned in, inhaling slightly as a sugary scent filled her senses. Her eyes gleamed with interest. "Pure and unspoiled. Our favorite. Think your shitastic ex is gonna mind if we claim him?"
Verosika tilted her head in mock consideration before shrugging casually. "I'm sure he won't." With a lazy wave of her hand, her crew began to close in around Eli, cutting off his escape routes.
Eli's gaze swept the room, analyzing his options. The window? Too high—he'd be a pancake if he jumped. The vent? Possible, but climbing in would take time, and they'd grab him before he got far. Magic could be a solution, but he cursed under his breath because Blitzo has the grimoire. He'd been relying on it far too much lately.
His eyes landed on a nearby couch where three incubuses sat, glaring daggers at him. He ignored them with practiced ease. Ma is a lot more intimidating when she gets angry, after all.
"Mind telling us your name? Unless your name really is Stranger Danger." Verosika grinned, eliciting giggles from her crew.
Surrounded as he was, Eli opted for calm. "Eli Clark." He replied flatly. For now, he decided to wait for an opportunity or, better yet, for someone to come to his aid. It was what Moxxie had taught him.
"Aw, what's wrong? You look so serious." Coco, one of the succubi, teased with a smirk. "Trying to impress the adults?"
"It's a gift." Eli deadpanned, his tone so flat it made a few of them chuckle.
"Coco, don't be mean." Apple mock-chided, feigning innocence.
Kiki, the final member of the trio, giggled but kept her eyes on Eli. She noted his stance—body slightly leaned back, arms loose at his sides. Something about it set off a quiet warning in her head.
Verosika noticed it too but brushed it off. Stepping closer, she bent down to his level, invading his personal space. "Now, mind telling me why you're here? And, I don't know, why you're working for that asshat, Blitzo?" She punctuated her question by teasingly brushing her tail under his nose.
Eli didn't flinch, though he took a measured step back, disappointing her slightly. "Right, Ms. Mayday—"
"No need for formalities, hon." Verosika interrupted with a sly smile. "Call me Verosika." She only allowed her really special friends the honor of calling her by her name.
"Ms. Mayday." Eli repeated firmly, his tone respectful but unyielding. The unexpected formality threw her off for a moment. "I'm honored you'd let me use your name… but we just met." His dry delivery had the faintest edge of sarcasm. "As for your earlier question, that's classified."
Verosika narrowed her eyes, trying to decipher whether the kid was mocking her or genuinely composed. She cleared her throat, addressing her crew. "Right. Listen, I don't know what Blitzo's told you about me, but I'm not the that bad once you get to know me." Her voice turned sugary sweet.
Eli nodded faintly, though his mind was elsewhere. Unnoticed—or so he thought—he began subtly inching backward toward the door.
Verosika's chuckle shattered his illusion of stealth. "It's not every day someone plays hard to get with me." She glanced at Milky. "Block the door, would you?"
The short-statured succubus smirked as she moved to bar his escape. "What's wrong, babe? Gonna run out on us? Tsk, tsk, that's naughty."
Eli clenched his jaw but maintained his stoic facade. He suddenly felt something coil around his waist—Verosika's tail. Before he could react, she yanked him back into her embrace, holding him tighter this time.
"Why are you so eager to leave?" Verosika asked, tilting her head. "I'm sure we're much better company." Her smile turned mischievous. "In fact, let me convince you."
Adjusting her grip to hold him eye-to-eye, Verosika leaned in slowly. "Pucker up…" she teased, inching closer. The deliberate slowness was meant to make him squirm, dragging out the tension for her amusement.
Eli's struggles grew more frantic as he began to sweat. The surrounding succubi watched in glee.
"Try not to tire him out, Ver." Milky quipped. "I want a turn."
"Yeah, save some fun for us." Coco chimed in.
Apple nodded in agreement, while Kiki muttered something about all the things she could teach him. Her words made Eli redouble his efforts to break free.
Just as Verosika's lips nearly met his, the door slammed open with a deafening crash.
"Drop my intern down!" Blitzo bellowed, storming in with his usual theatrical flair despite being too tired to do so. Millie's gonna skin him alive for letting anything happen to Eli.
Verosika and her crew froze momentarily, startled by the sudden intrusion. Behind Blitzo, Moxxie's panicked gaze locked onto his foster son.
A/N: I think I did a good job in making Verosika and her crew into actual characters, while keeping their succubus nature... right? I mean, I did say there's gonna be mild lewd interactions. They never said it's gonna be easy.
Merry Sinsmas to you to, whoever you are :)
A little fun fact about my OC's family is that most if not all is inspired by the Loud House because I grew up with it, and is on my top 3 favourites cartoons. The first being Pucca and Garu. Second, is Scooby doo, Where are you! Yes the 1969 one.
