Eli grabbed Verosika's wrist and ran, his speed unmatched as the leviathan-like monster shot its spiked tongue at them. Eli narrowly avoided it, pushing himself sideways with surprising force, sending them both out of harm's way.

The lethal tongue smashed into the ground with a violent thud, and though Eli had evaded it, the attack came too close for comfort, grazing Verosika's forearm.

Eli clicked his tongue in frustration, and with a swift motion, he pulled Verosika into a bridal carry. He increased his pace, his training under Millie proving its worth, even if it had been a little brutal at times.

Verosika, still dazed by the speed and strength with which Eli lifted her, didn't even notice the monster's tongue as it shot at them again.

Eli, with ease, saw Verosika's crew and the hellhound bodyguard standing just far enough to be safe, but not out of reach.

Without hesitation, Eli raised Verosika over his head and, with a small leap, tossed her toward Vortex, her loyal bodyguard. He blinked in surprise before catching his boss in mid-air.

As Verosika was being caught, Eli twisted mid-air and activated a spell he had memorized only recently. The grimoire flashed briefly, and with a swipe of his hand, he sent ice cascading toward the monster's tongue.

The ice shattered on impact with the beast's tongue, causing it to hiss in pain and frustration as it recoiled, the tongue briefly impaled. Eli's ice shield had bought him the precious time he needed to regroup with the I.M.P team.

Blitzo shot Eli an annoyed pout. "Why the hell didn't you just leave that bitch to get eaten?"

Eli sighed, clearly fatigued. As Millie came up to hug her foster son, checking him over for injuries, Eli muttered flatly, "I may not like her, but I'm not cruel." His gaze dropped to the ground, inwardly lamenting Blitzo's scolding.

Loona regrouped with the team and noticed Eli's downcast expression. She wondered if it had something to do with her own distraction earlier. Loona had already felt guilty for blowing up at Blitzo, but now she felt an additional twinge of guilt for forgetting that their real mission was to protect Eli from losing the bet.

Blitzo exhaled and, to Eli's surprise, muttered, "It's fine…" He sounded almost defeated, which made Eli glance up in confusion. "But I'm docking your pay." Blitzo chuckled, knowing full well Eli didn't get paid.

Eli deadpanned at him, but Blitzo seemed unphased. A moment of awkward silence lingered until Blitzo asked, "Where's Mox?"

Eli glanced over at the chaos, his eyes narrowing as he saw Moxxie being pulled into the monster's gaping maw by its tongue. "It got Moxxie." Eli muttered, frustration creeping into his voice.

Millie's expression hardened as she looked in the same direction. Seeing her husband's predicament, she was ready to fight. "Sugar, keep the book handy. Momma's gonna need some help making seafood." With that, she rushed toward the beast, her expression deadly serious.

Eli, worn and fatigued from constant use of his magic, grimaced but still opened the grimoire to enhance Millie's weapon. He then cast the ice spell again, this time to chain the beast down.

The ice snaked toward the leviathan, binding it temporarily. Millie used the ice chains as leverage, running straight toward the monster's mouth. Inside, she saw Moxxie, who was laughing hysterically, all while punching the monster's vulva.

Millie reached out to grab her husband, and he reached back, offering her a drunken high-five. Rolling her eyes, Millie yanked Moxxie free with a firm grip, using her enchanted hatchet to sever the tongue that held him.

The force of the severing sent Moxxie flying into the air, arms spread wide in exhilaration. Blitzo, ever the opportunist, caught Moxxie mid-fall just as the monster's tongue landed on another unfortunate bystander, crushing them under its weight. The victim, fortunately, was one of their targets.

Despite his drunken state, Moxxie watched his wife fiercely fighting the monster from the inside of its mouth. "I love that woman!" He shouted, his tail forming a heart as he cheered.

Blitzo grinned, enjoying the spectacle. "She definitely pegs you, huh?" He teased, but Moxxie only laughed harder, clearly too drunk to care.

Meanwhile, Eli exhaled deeply, feeling the strain of his magic weighing on him. Loona, ever observant, noticed the exhaustion in his posture. She wanted to interrupt but stopped when Eli began chanting once again:

"By the fang of fury and the veil of mist,

Grant me the power that none can resist.

Claws of ether, wings of flight,

Transform my soul on this sacred night.

Let the Tigrex of legend rise anew,

Bound by my will, fierce and true!"

A thick mist swirled around Eli as his body transformed into an ethereal Tigrex. The roar that followed shook the ground beneath them, and even the leviathan monster froze, momentarily stunned by the roar.

Verosika and her crew stared in shock as the ethereal wyvern sprinted with terrifying speed toward the monster, leaping into the air in a blur of motion. Blitzo couldn't help but grin smugly at them, fully enjoying the spectacle.

Millie, never one to shy away from a challenge, joined Eli mid-air as they descended upon the creature. Millie swung her enchanted hatchet with deadly precision, while Eli, in the form of the mighty Tigrex, brought down earth-shattering talons.

The impact was devastating. The monster was cleaved in half, the explosion of blood and guts showering the beach in a glorious mess.

Moxxie, still drunk, cheered loudly, "Those are my wife and son!" His voice full of pride.

Blitzo's grin widened as he watched Millie and Eli emerge from the bloodied water, victorious. "Hell yeah! That's how you put on a fucking show!" He applauded, his arms wide as the two powerhouse fighters regrouped.

Millie laughed, proud of Eli, who, though exhausted, was still standing. She pulled him into a tight hug, her smile warm as she praised him.

Blitzo turned to survey the aftermath, noting the damage the monster had caused. A significant number of bystanders had perished, and many weren't even their targets.

"Hmm… Maybe I can spin this into my favor." Blitzo muttered, already scheming.

Verosika approached, her voice dripping with condescension. "Blitzo…"

The I.M.P team turned to face her, tension thick in the air. Verosika's crew looked just as ready for a confrontation, but Blitzo's smug expression made it clear that he was unbothered.

Millie stepped forward with a frown. "I don't think so, missy." She said as she threw a flask at Verosika's feet, shattering her arrogance. "I don't reckon that belongs to any of us." She gestured to the I.M.P.

Moxxie, still intoxicated, "You're so fuuucckkeedd!" He laughed loudly as Blitzo grinned.

Verosika's crew exchanged uneasy glances, realizing that if they ratted out the I.M.P., the chaos caused by the monster would likely be traced back to them.

Verosika clenched her fists, her patience running thin. "Well, you three are still in trouble for not using human disguises in the human world."

Moxxie, shot back drunkenly, "A human called me a possum! I am not a possum!" His words slurred as he collapsed face-first into the sand.

Verosika's frustration boiled over, but she relented with a huff. "You win…"

Blitzo burst into celebration, throwing his hands in the air. "Hell yeah! We won! In your face!" He pointed at the annoyed pop star. "This calls for a celebration—drinks are on me!"

Millie cleared her throat, nodding to Eli, who looked exhausted.

Blitzo huffed. "Fine, fine. We'll get him a soda or that coffee he likes so much."

As they made their way to the portal, Eli paused, glancing back toward Verosika, her bodyguard, and her crew as they were surrounded by police officers with guns drawn.

Eli sighed, his exhaustion weighing heavily on him. He could leave… or he could help.

With a soft exhale, he summoned a ball of light and sent it into the sky, distracting the cops for a moment. Then, using the last of his energy, Eli conjured a portal beneath Verosika and her crew, sending them back to Hell.

Verosika shot him a grateful look, and Eli responded with a quiet nod before collapsing into the portal, unconscious.

A/N: And cut! Yay, this one was still hard but manageble. Anyways you may have notice I use a Monster hunter wyvern here. I love the monster hunter games and my favourite had always been Tigrex. HR 50 on my Monster Hunter XX. I'll be using a lot of monster hunter base spell too.

I noticed a reader saying that Verosika won't act weird. This was planned actually, she is not his friend currently, which is why she's acting like that. Think of it as a friendship that started on the wrong foot or something.

I made my OC to have a strong sense of justice despite his past.
