Ulrich362: Things are going very well for Noel and his new Wolf Empire so far... though to be fair he hasn't encountered some of Skyrim's deadliest threats yet.

bopdog111: Now he, Madanach, and Borkul separated to gather three more Daedra Artifacts for their cause; Mehrunes Dagon's Razor, Perytite's Spellbreaker, and Malacath's Volendrung.

Ulrich362: True, but finding those Daedric Artifacts is much easier said than done.

bopdog111: First we will see Borkul gaining his artifact from the Orc-Daedra King, Malacath in the Orc Stronghold of Largashbur.

Ulrich362: Sounds good to me, enjoy the chapter.

It was after a few hours that Borkul was sent checking his map for the Stronghold of Largashbur in Stormcloak territory killing anything that attacked him which were Bandits, Thieves, Wolves, that sort of thing. Soon he finds himself approaching it only to see that a giant is there attacking the Stronghold.

"What the? Great, if that thing kills them I'll never find this Warhammer he mentioned." Borkul frowned as he drew his two weapons and charged at the giant slashing at its left leg.

The Giant growled getting down a knee before turning to Borkul moving to strike with his hammer roaring before Borkul moved jumping on it's back as the Giant roared standing up shaking around to get Borkul off of him.

"You might be big, but you're not very bright." Borkul smirked stabbing his Forsworn sword into the Giant's back as it continued shaking before he jumped off and rolled when he hit the ground before slashing with his axe again.

The Giant at that collapsed weakened before as it's last thing to see was Borkul moving stabbing the Giant straight through the eye killing it instantly.

"That takes care of that." he smirked.

With that he moved only for an armored orc to stop him, "Halt! You have no business here, outsider. Leave at once."

Then a female orc in a robe called, "Ugor, no! This may be the one we need."

Irritated the armored orc known as Ugor pointed out, "We need nothing from outsiders! Yamarz will provide for us."

"We cannot carry on this way!" the robed orc argued, "You know we are doomed if we do not do something!"

"Yamarz charged me with keeping outsiders away from Largashbur. You would have me disobey him?" Ugor questioned from that.

"You were charged with keeping us inside the walls." the robed orc questioned before saying, "Have faith, Ugor. I only wish the best for our tribe."

Growling Ugor shrugged, "Fine, it's your neck."

"Please come on in." the robed orc told Borkul as the gate opened.

"I'm guessing something's going on with this Yamarz?" Borkul questioned. "Something related to that Giant I just killed I'm guessing."

"Forgive Ugor's harsh words. She is merely doing as she has been told." the robed Orc told him as he walked in while she walked to him before he explained, "Please, our tribe suffers and we need help. Our Chief, Yamarz, was once a strong and proud warrior. Now he is stricken, cursed. He is weak, and so our tribe is weak. The giants sense this, and intrude on our territory. Now they assault our very home. Yamarz refuses help, but I sense that you may be just what we need."

"I'm not here to..." Borkul started only to pause recalling what Noel told him. "Tell me more about this curse, I might be able to help."

"Yamarz has demanded we stay inside the walls. We cannot leave. I must petition Malacath for relief. This curse must be lifted. But I cannot travel to Malacath's shrine. The ritual must be done here, and I do not have the materials I need. I beg of you, can you bring me Troll Fat and a Daedra Heart? I have no wish to depend on a stranger, but I have no choice." the robed Orc requested for him.

"Troll Fat and a Daedra Heart." Borkul repeated. "Fine, I'll collect those items for you. I'm assuming you know where I can find them?"

"Troll Fat can be found from Trolls around here. They usually settle in caves. And Daedra Hearts can be found in Daedra but they are hard to find. You can find them in Alchemy Stores as they are ingredients in making potions." the robed Orc answered before she added, "My name is Atub by the way. Thank you so much for helping us."

"Wonderful." Borkul frowned. "I'll return with those items for your ritual."

With that he walked off only to growl.

"Of course he sent me on a shopping trip, that Giant was a fluke... I'll have to make sure he gives me a real fight soon."

Borkul moved around for several hours eventually finding a small cave where he finds a Troll he finds it's sleeping but to his shock he notices a Daedra Heart is in a small sack with a skeleton which he can assume the Troll attacked, and eaten. Seeing that his eyes widened as he smirked before letting out a loud battle cry to wake up the troll while also tightening his grip on his weapons.

Awake the Troll growled getting up roaring looking around for who made that sound.

"Right here you mindless beast." Borkul taunted while also preparing for the inevitable attack.

The Troll turned before roaring jumping charging over at Borkul. Anticipating the jump Borkul dived to the side as he slashed the Troll under its left arm before quickly spinning and slashing its back with his sword and delivering a quick kick sending the Troll crashing into the cave wall. The Troll crashed, and growled before turning to swing it's arm to attack Borkul only for him to dive using his axe to strike it's shoulder as it roared before moving to swing again. Smirking Borkul dropped his weapons and caught the Troll's arm before letting out a mighty roar as he pulled as hard as he could. With one single pull he ripped the Troll's arm off as it roared loudly in agony from the great searing pain that awaited it.

"You won't suffer much longer." Borkul told the Troll before picking up his sword and swiftly decapitating it.

The Troll's body stood bleeding out before collapsing torso first. Staring at the now dead troll Borkul frowned before slicing some of its fat which he put in the sack with the Daedra Heart before heading back to Largashbur. He walked arriving back at Largashbur looking around before finding Atub, and walked over who notices him approaching turning over.

"Here, the items for your ritual." Borkul stated handing her the sack.

Atub smiled taking it, "Excellent." That was before she then said to him, "Now, you must come with me. You've become a part of this. You must be present for the ritual."

"Of course, why am I not surprised." Borkul frowned as he followed her.

Entering a house he sees a Orc warrior having on a complete suit of Orcish Armor who turned over as Atub explained to him, "It is time, Yamarz."

The Orc known as Yamarz glared, "You bring an outsider here, and now insist I call on Malacath for help, when he has clearly forsaken me? You try my patience, Atub."

"Doing nothing will not grant our tribe relief from this curse." Atub pointed out with crossed arms, "We must try."

Grumbling at this he crossed his arms sneering, "Grrr. Fine, let's get this over with."

With that they walked where Borkul sees a small wooden made shrine with a deer skull with large atlers was there as Atub meditates, "Now, we begin the ritual... Great Malacath, we beseech you, aid us in our time of need..."

Yamarz crosses his arms impatiently, "Why are we bothering with this?"

"YOU PATHETIC WEAKLING!" a voice suddenly shouted around the village almost similar to Molag Bal.

Borkul's eyes widened hearing the voice. 'That must be another Daedric Prince even his voice commands respect.'

"What's that?" Yamarz questioned as Atub's eyes widened.

"Malacath has heard my pleas! He speaks to us!" she cried.

"You dare summon me Yamarz?" Malacath questioned.

"What? What is this?" Yamarz asked.

"You don't deserve to call yourself an Orc! You're weak, you're small, and you're an embarrassment! You let giants... Giants!... overrun my shrine. Bring me their leader's club as an offering, and I might release you from this curse!" Malacath stated.

Hearing this Atub turned to Yamarz telling him, "So it will be. Malacath has spoken, Yamarz. Your path is clear."

"Very well." Yamarz nodded before turning to Borkul to glare saying, "You, outsider, come here! I want a word."

"What, you need a babysitter for this job of yours?" Borkul questioned. "I've heard you've been cursed to be weak."

"Well this is all your fault, you know. I'm stuck fighting a giant now, thanks to you." Yamarz glared to him before telling him, "So you're going to help me. You're going with me, and you're going to make sure I don't have any trouble reaching that giant. Don't worry, I'll make it worth your while."

"I'm not the one a Daedric Prince commanded to fight a Giant." Borkul pointed out. "It's not my job to help you."

"Thanks to you, I've just been issued a challenge in front of my whole tribe, by a Daedric Prince, no less. I can't ignore that. I didn't say I wouldn't fight the giant. I just said you're going to help me get to it." Yamarz told him simply, "Meet me outside Fallowstone Cave. You clear the way to the giant for me, and I'll make sure you get paid for it."

'I have my own reward in mind, but I hope this Giant kills this idiot.' Borkul thought only to nod. "Very well, lead the way."

Yamarz ran off with Borkul beside him to Fallowstone Cave protecting the Orc Chief from whatever attacks them eventually reaching a cave as Yamarz told him, "If there's a chance this will save me, then I'm taking it. I'll lead the way, but you'd better back me up. Let's get this over with."

"Right, don't worry I'll make sure you don't get yourself killed." Borkul told him.

"If that was suppose to be a joke it's not a funny one." Yamarz glared at him.

With that said they both head in with Borkul killing most of the Cave's threats against them, and sometimes giants that attacked them both. Soon they exited from a side into a grotto where they see a leading Giant holding a special hammer. Yamarz grinned turning to Borkul, "All right, I'll go kill this giant. Unless, of course, you'd like to make some extra gold."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Borkul questioned.

"I'm tired, I haven't slept well in weeks. You kill the giant, bring me the hammer. We go back to Largashbur, I tell everyone I did it. You keep your mouth shut, and I pay you. Handsomely." Yamarz told him at this trying to weasel his way out of this.

Borkul then remembered some words Noel told him, 'But do not trust any of the Orcs in there, they would do anything to appease Lord Malacath.'

'He might have a point, then again... if this idiot ends up getting himself killed I may never get Malacath's hammer.' Borkul thought. "Fine, I'll kill this giant for you."

"Good. I'll be waiting right here." Yamarz smirked stepping back.

Borkul went down as the giant sees him before readying the hammer growling warningly to not approach closer.

"Sorry, nothing personal." Borkul mentioned drawing his Forsworn sword and axe as he prepared for a fight.

Seeing this the giant roared stomping forward trying to smash him with it's hammer but Borkul rolled forward to avoid before moving striking the giant's leg with his axe which made it kneel before Borkul moved slitting it's neck with his Forsworn Sword which made it collapsed dead already.

"That was it?" he frowned. "The last one put up a better fight. Well, your giant is dead so let's bring its club back to that shrine."

After taking the hammer he walked up as Yamarz smirked, "Excellent work. You have a true fighting spirit. Did that better than I could have." He then smirked wider, "Of course, I can't let you leave here alive. Wouldn't want anyone finding out."

With that he drew his axe moving to attack Borkul.

"I figured you'd do that." Borkul frowned drawing his own weapons. "Looks like I'll be bringing back a club and a corpse."

With that the battle between Yamarz, and Borkul began as they fought with Borkul dodging most of Yamarz's attacks while being hit by Borkul's but his Orcish Armor deflects most of the damage. Yamarz then strike down which Borkul blocked with his Forsworn Axe, and then slashes a exposed spot in Yamarz's leg forcing the cowardly Orc to kneel.

"A coward and a weakling." Borkul spat before stabbing through Yamarz's head killing him instantly.

As Yamarz's body collapsed Borkul suddenly hears Malacath's voice, "Yamarz was a fool. Always trying to scheme his way out of responsibility." He can almost feel the Daedra shrug his shoulders in his mind, "But, you took care of him and the giants. Two problems solved at once. Now, take Shagrol's hammer back to Largashbur, and we'll see about whipping the rest of them into shape."

"I have an idea for that." Borkul smirked taking the hammer and heading back to Largashbur.

Upon arriving many of the Orcs looked over seeing him as Atub stepped over noticing Yamarz isn't with him as Borkul told her, "I brought back the hammer he wanted."

"But... What of Yamarz? I see. He did not survive. He... He died well?" Atub asked him hopefully.

"That weakling asked me to kill the giant for him." Borkul answered. "Then he tried to kill me."

Shocked Atub asked, "What? Why would he do such a thing?"

"Yamarz was a coward and a weakling. His deceitful ways have cost you all greatly." Malacath stated from his shrine as they turned to the altar where the ritual was.

"So he has been punished? And what of us? What fate shall we suffer?" Atub asked nervously.

"You'll have to prove yourselves, but I'm willing to give you a chance. Gularzob's in charge now. Let's hope he's a better chief." Malacath said to her before talking to Borkul, "You," Borkul listened before Malacath said, "place that hammer on the shrine. You're the only one who's proven worthy in all of this... for what you seeked."

Nodding Borkul put the hammer on Malacath's shrine. Green energy swirled before it changed shape.

In the hammer's place was a large very dark grey warhammer that is glowing with orange energy with numerous spikes around it, and a decorative hammer handle while Malacath said, "This is the item that you seek fellow Orc, the Hammer of Might, the Volendrung. You proven yourself as a worthy asset towards your young Emperor's forces... May the Volendrung serve you well, in your young lord's quest, and know that I will be watching."

"I figured you'd know about that." Borkul mentioned as he took the Volendrung before turning back to Atub. "You, come with me. There's someone I want you to meet."

Atub blinked before nodding as they headed off together.

Meanwhile...

Hadvar entered Castle Dour walking over as Tulius, and Rikke noticed him before he said, "The attack to take back Markarth has failed General."

"Failed, just what are we dealing with?" Tullius questioned.

"They knew we were coming, and set up ambushes against us." Hadvar answered before he then said, "And the one leading them said to give you a message."

"What kind of message?" Legate Rikke inquired.

"The Tamriel Unification Front will stop at nothing to destroy the Thalmor, and expect for Titus Mede II to be Emperor no longer cause the real Empress will take back her throne." Hadvar repeated the message to them.

"As if we didn't have enough problems." Tullius frowned. "Tamriel Unification Front now? We're going to need more troops from the empire."

"But there is also one other thing. It looked as though the lad, the one leading them... was using an artifact of the Daedra." Hadvar mentioned as well.

"The Daedra?" Rikke questioned in shock. "Just what kind of person is he?"

"Daedra or not, he won't be able to fight against the might of the empire." Tullius told her. "Once our reinforcements arrive we'll deal with him and Ulfric and his Stormcloak rebellion."

"But General... What does the lad mean by 'True Empress'?" Hadvar asked Tulius, "He said he was her concubine, and the Septim Dynasty has been dead for the last 200 years so what could he mean by 'true Empress'?"

Tullius frowned. "There is one possibility, but you needn't worry about that Hadvar. Just make sure you're prepared, this war just got a lot more complicated."

Ulrich362: Borkul received Volendrung from Malacath thought it sounds like he has another idea in mind for Noel's Empire.

bopdog111: If I have to guess, I'd say having Largashbur be a part of it.

Ulrich362: Probably, or an alliance at the very least. That said, next up is Madanach's quest?

bopdog111: Which is definitely one of the most hardest Daedra Quests for Perytite's Spellbreaker, which is ironic since Perytite is one of the weaker Daedra Princes but his Artifact is still real useful even against Dragon's Breath Attacks.

Ulrich362: Makes sense to me, see you in the next chapter.

bopdog111: Be sure to review!
