Disclaimer – It has come to my attention recently that I unfortunately do not own Harry Potter or Star Wars or their respective universes. Who knew.
To everyone planning on celebrating National Bacon Day, I wish you an enjoyable cholesterol raising holiday. And to everyone else I hope you enjoy the fact that it is National Resolution Planning Day as the New Year is almost here! Hope everyone has a good end to 2024 and is in store for an amazing New Years. Also if there are any resolution suggestions let me know as I'm really bad at making them.

This story is dedicated to Sam Steel, one of my first upper tier patron.
Harry Potter had faced a lot in his short life, but crawling out of the smuggling compartments of a battered spaceship/freighter in the middle of a space station the size of a small moon, one controlled by an Empire was a new experience entirely. As he clambered out, his limbs stiff and his neck cricked from the awkward position, he couldn't help but shiver. Glancing back into the cramped, dark cavity he had been wedged into, he thought to himself that the cupboard under the stairs had almost felt luxurious in comparison. At least in the cupboard, he hadn't been squeezed between an old man and two mechanical droids—one of whom incessantly beeped and whirred, while the other prattled on in what felt like a need to just fill the air with it's own voice.
Still, it wasn't the tight quarters that sent the shiver through him. It was the old man, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Something about him radiated an aura of quiet authority and trustworthiness, and despite every instinct screaming at Harry to dismiss the man's far-fetched explanations, that he had shared while they had been cramped into the compartments, about where they were and what was happening, he found himself believing every word. And apparently, Harry, along with everyone else, was in grave danger.
As they stepped into the corridor of the Millennium Falcon, Han Solo was already glaring at Harry with narrowed eyes, his blaster hand twitching. "I still don't trust you, kid," Han said suspiciously.
Harry opened his mouth to snap back but was stopped by Obi-Wan stepping between them. "We need a plan," the old man said calmly but firmly, his eyes flicking between Han and Chewbacca. "I have a feeling they'll reboard the ship soon. If they conduct a more thorough scan, we won't be able to hide like that again."
Han crossed his arms and frowned. "Yeah, you're probably right. But even if we take off right now, the tractor beam will just catch us again. And this time they'll know for sure someone's on board."
Obi-Wan nodded solemnly. "Then we must disable the tractor beam. I'll take care of that."
"And what about the tech officer who come aboard to scan the ship?" Han asked. "Maybe you can sneak out and carry off this impossible mission but it's not like we can just stay here and hide."
"We'll subdue him," Obi-Wan replied, his tone resolute. "It's the only way. And then you'll have a uniform to disguise yourselves in should you need."
Harry spoke up, "I can handle them easily." He tapped his wand, his confidence growing. "A quick—"
Han cut him off with a sharp wave. "No." He gestured to himself and Chewbacca. "We've got this covered."
The plan was hastily set. And though they were momentarily surprised to find two officers instead of one, when the tech officers arrived to perform their scans, Han and Chewbacca ambushed them just as they stepped onto the ramp. The attack went off without a hitch, Chewbacca's sheer size and strength made short work of them, and soon both were unconscious and tied up in the Falcon's storage bay.
Han leaned against the bulkhead, catching his breath. He glanced down the ramp, spotting two more stormtroopers stationed at the base of the ramp who had been oblivious of the trap that had just been laid. He motioned toward them with a nod. "We'd be better off with those stormtrooper uniforms," he muttered.
Obi-Wan opened his mouth to protest, but Han was already calling down to the guards. "Hey, we need some help up here!"
The guards, unsuspecting of a trap, came up the ramp without hesitation. Han and Chewbacca pounced as soon as they stepped aboard, taking them by surprise. Chewbacca swung a massive arm, knocking one guard unconscious instantly, while Han used his blaster to club the other into submission. The entire exchange was over in seconds.
"Told you we'd handle it." Han grinned as he dusted himself off. "Alright," he muttered. "Phase one done. Let's get those uniforms."
After dragging the two stormtroopers to the storage bay to join the two tech officers. Luke and Han quickly stripped the stormtroopers of their uniforms and donned the disguises. Meanwhile, Harry hesitated before pulling on one of the tech officer's uniforms. The ill-fitting outfit hung loosely on his slender frame, and he couldn't help but feel ridiculous.
Han took one look at him and burst out laughing. "Not even a blind porg would fall for that disguise," he jeered.
Harry scowled and muttered under his breath before pulling out his wand. With a quick flick and a whispered incantation, an illusion shimmered over him. In an instant, he looked exactly like the tech officer they had subdued—down to the precise creases in the uniform and the slight stubble on his chin.
Han froze, his hand immediately going for his blaster. "I knewyou were an Imperial spy!" he shouted, aiming directly at Harry.
Obi-Wan stepped in swiftly, placing himself between Harry and the blaster. "Calm yourself, Captain Solo," he said firmly. "It's merely an illusion." He paused as he looked back to Harry. "Although I must admit that it's unlike any mind trick or use of the Force I have ever seen before."
Harry sighed and ended the spell with a flick of his wand, the illusion fading away. "It's just magic," he said exasperatedly, noticing Obi-Wan's eyebrows shoot up in an uncharacteristic display of emotion, before he looked back at Han. "Can you please calm down? You're lucky the entire station didn't hear you shouting."
Han lowered the blaster reluctantly, muttering under his breath about "space wizards" and "insanity." The tense moment was broken by the crackle of a commlink attached to Han's stolen uniform. A voice demanded an update from the scanning crew—and why the two stormtroopers weren't at their post.
Han groaned, grabbing the helmet and jamming it onto his head. "Great," he muttered. "Stay on the Falcon. I'll handle it."
The group followed him to the top of the ramp, cautiously peeking out as Han strode down. At the bottom, he scanned the area until his gaze apparently landed on whoever had contacted him. Han raised his hand, gesturing calmly, pointing first to the Falcon and then to his commlink. He mimed an exaggerated shrug and held up a finger as if to say everything was fine and under control.
After several seconds, whoever he was communicating with seemed to get his message as Han turned and walked back up the ramp, exhaling heavily as he pulled off the helmet. "Well, that'll buy us some time," he said, setting the helmet aside. "But not much, as I'm sure they will eventually come to inspect my comm gear. We need to move, and we'll definitely have to take care of the observation tower before we do anything else."
Obi-Wan nodded, already heading toward the exit. "Then let's take care of that first and then I'll take care of the tractor beam."

The group, now including the two droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, moved cautiously through the corridors of the space station. The cold metal walls loomed high, and every step seemed to echo more loudly than it should. Ignoring the looks from both Han and Luke, Harry kept his wand at the ready, the subtle hum of tension making the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end.
They reached the observation tower, that overlooked the Millenium Falcon, without encountering resistance, but Han and Luke quickly fell into a whispered argument about the best way to approach the guards stationed inside. Finally, Chewbacca growled in frustration, stepping forward with an air of determination that silenced them both. Following Chewbacca's lead, the group burst into the observation room, relying on the element of surprise.
The guards, caught off guard, barely had time to react before they were subdued. Chewbacca's raw strength incapacitated the guard that had the misfortune of standing too close to the door and Han fired his blaster with precision, hitting the second guard right in the chest, preventing him from drawing his weapon or activating the room's alarm system on the control panel right in front of him.
As the room settled into tense silence, Luke looked around and then turned to Han. "Between your Wookie howling at everything and you wanting to blast anything and everything, it's lucky no one's heard us. Honestly Han, we're making enough noise to alert the entire station."
Han shrugged, his trademark smirk creeping onto his face. "Hey, kid, sometimes luck's all you've got."
Harry, standing to the side, found himself nodding in agreement with Luke. "Luck's good and all, Merlin knows it's helped me out," he muttered, "but maybe we should try to keep things quieter from here on out."
Before Han could respond, R2-D2 rolled over to one of the consoles. With a series of beeps and whistles, the astromech droid extended a small tool into a port, quickly accessing the space station's systems. Harry watched in awe as the droid's mechanical appendages manipulated the interface with incredible speed. Within moments, the room's central display screenlit up with schematics of the station.
"He's found something," Luke said, stepping closer.
C-3PO translated, "R2 has located the terminals that control the tractor beam. He's also identified the best routes to those terminals and says that disabling even one of them should be more than enough to disrupt the tractor beam and prevent them from being able to keep us from leaving."
Obi-Wan stepped forward, his eyes narrowing as he studied the schematics. After a moment, he nodded. "This is a task for me alone."
"But—" Harry and Luke started at the same time, both stepping forward.
Obi-Wan raised a hand, silencing them with a calm but firm gesture. "You're brave, both of you, but this requires subtlety and speed. I am neither as frail nor as helpless as I look, as I'm sure you've realized Luke. I will make better time on my own."
"But …" Luke's protest faltered. Obi-Wan's resolve was unshakable.
The old Jedi turned to Harry and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Stay close to Luke, Han, and Chewbacca. Help protect the droids. The information stored in R2-D2 is critical to the survival of the Rebellion. It must reach them, no matter what might happen."
Harry nodded, the weight of the responsibility sinking in.
Obi-Wan turned to Luke next. "The Force will be with you," he said, his voice steady and reassuring. Then he paused, his gaze shifting back to Harry. "It will be with both of you. Always."
Harry felt a strange warmth settle over him at those words, a quiet reassurance he couldn't explain. "Trust your instincts," Obi-Wan added looking at Harry. "When I return, we will make time to talk."
With that, Obi-Wan turned and slipped silently out of the room, leaving the rest of them in a tense silence. Harry exchanged a look with Luke, who seemed equally anxious about the Jedi's solitary mission.
Han broke the silence. "Great. So now we just sit here and twiddle our thumbs while the old guy goes on a suicide run?"
"He'll make it," Luke said firmly, surprising Harry with the complete tone of certainty in his voice.
Han snorted. "Sure. And maybe the bucket of bolts down there will win a beauty contest."
Before Luke could retort, R2-D2 let out an excited series of beeps and whistles, cutting through the tension. Both Luke and Han turned to the droids simultaneously. "What?" they asked in unison.
C-3PO hesitated, his golden frame almost shimmering under the overhead lights. "I … I'm not sure I understand. It doesn't make sense. R2, could you repeat that?"
R2-D2 obliged, emitting another sequence of beeps and tones. C-3PO's photoreceptors brightened as the meaning clicked. "Oh my! R2 says he's found her. She … she's here."
"She?" Han asked, his eyes narrowing suspiciously. "Who's she?"
Luke's face lit up with sudden recognition.
But before he could reply C-3PO replied to the question from Han. "The princess," he said simply. "Princess Leia. She's here and she's being held captive."
The group stood in stunned silence for a moment after C-3PO translated R2-D2's beeping, before Luke turned to Harry and Han.
"She's here! We've got to rescue her!" Luke exclaimed, his enthusiasm unmistakable.
Han stared at him like he'd grown a second head. "You're crazier than the old man," Han said, crossing his arms. "You want us to charge into the detention area of what is likely the most secure space station in the galaxy? That's suicide, I'd rather take my chances on jumping out the bay door over there and trying to swim through space to the nearest friendly ship."
Harry stepped forward, his expression firm. "I'm going with Luke," he said. "Are you really going to stay here while an innocent person is kept prisoner?"
Han shrugged. "At least I'll be far away from the cells."
Luke wasn't about to give up. "Han, think about it. She's a princess. Imagine the kind of reward she could offer if we save her. Credits, fame—this could be the job of a lifetime."
Han scoffed, shaking his head. "Or it could be the last job I ever take. You know what they do to people caught sneaking around Imperial bases?"
Luke leaned in, his voice urgent. "She's in danger. And listen, if this goes right, you'll be a hero. People will know your name across the galaxy, you'll be able to name your price for anything you want to do. The reward for doing this? It'll be worth the risk."
Han's eyes narrowed, his fingers drumming against his blaster. "A reward, huh?"
Luke nodded emphatically. "Yes. And not just any reward—a royal reward. You'll be set for life."
Han's eyes narrowed as he mulled it over. Finally, with a reluctant sigh, he said, "Fine. But there better be a reward at the end of this." He looked between Luke and Harry before adding, "I suppose someone's got to keep you two from getting yourselves killed."
They began to plan their approach. Luke glanced at Harry. "I doubt a tech officer could make it all the way to the detention center without raising questions," he said.
Harry nodded. "You're right." He muttered the Disillusionment Charm under his breath, and his appearance shimmered until he looked like a stormtrooper. "Stormtroopers are simple enough to mimic, even easier than an actual person as there are less details," he said with a shrug. "But we can't take too long. I was never very good at maintaining this charm for extended periods and based on the schematics it looks like we have quite the hike to get to the detention center."
Luke nodded, impressed, while Han seemed to be studying him a little more intensely. They turned to Chewbacca, who growled lowly, clearly unhappy.
"Come on, Chewie," Han coaxed. "It's just for show. You'll be fine."
Chewbacca huffed and shook his head, his deep growl reverberating through the room.
"Oh, don't be like that," Han said, exasperated. "We've done crazier things than this. Remember that time on Nal Hutta."
Chewbacca barked a response, and Han groaned. "Yes, I know this is going to be even more risky. No, I'm not trying to get us killed. Trust me, okay?"
Chewbacca rumbled something else, and Han grinned. "See? You've got my back, buddy. It'll just a quick in-and-out job."
Chewbacca growled again, his tone skeptical, but he finally relented, rolling his eyes as he reluctantly agreed to be taken as "prisoner" and allowed the shackles to be loosely attached, ensuring he could break free when needed. "Thanks, pal," Han said with a pat on Chewie's arm. "You'll thank me when we're rolling in credits."
As soon as everything was set, they headed toward the detention level.
Upon reaching the detention block, they were immediately stopped by guards. The lead officer gave them a skeptical look. "What's the prisoner doing here?" he demanded.
Han replied from under his helmet. "Transfer from cell block 1138. Orders from the higher-ups." he said smoothly.
The officer's frown deepened. "We weren't informed of any transfer. Who authorized this?"
Before Han could come up with an answer, one of the guards gestured toward Chewbacca. "Why aren't his restraints fully locked?"
The tension snapped as the situation escalated quickly. The lead officer reached for his blaster, but Han and Chewbacca were faster. Han's shot caught the lead officer square in the chest, sending him sprawling, while Chewbacca ripped free of his fake restraints with a thunderous roar and charged into the fray.
The detention block erupted into chaos as the automated turrets swiveled to life, trying to target the intruders.
With a flick of his wand, Harry stunned two guards before they could even aim. Another guard charged at him, but Harry used the Knockback Jinx, sending the man hurtling into the wall with a sickening thud. The guard collapsed in a heap, unconscious.
Out of the corner of his eye Harry saw another guard trying to flank them, but Luke spotted him and fired, hitting the man in the shoulder. The guard crumpled with a pained cry.
Harry focused on the turrets, aiming his wand. "Reducto!" he called out, and the spell hit the nearest turret, causing it to explode in a shower of sparks and debris.
"Nice trick!" Han called out, grinning despite the chaos. But the fight was far from over.
Meanwhile, Chewbacca roared and launched himself at a pair of guards who had taken cover behind a console. His raw strength was terrifying, as he knocked their blasters aside and slammed them against the walls with a bone-crunching force.
Luke took advantage of the chaos, expertly firing his blaster to cover Han as he focused on the automated turrets. But the guards kept coming. One charged at Luke, only to be stopped mid-run by Harry's Impediment Jinx, which froze the man in place before he toppled over like a felled tree, smacking his head on the corner of the metal console in the center of the room.
The final guard rushed down the walkway, his blaster aimed directly at Harry. Without hesitation, Harry cast the Bone-Breaker Curse, and the guard's legs buckled as he screamed in agony. Before the man could recover, Han finished him off with a well-placed blaster shot.
As the dust settled, Han glanced at Harry, a newfound respect in his eyes. "Why didn't you say that little thing could be so helpful?" he said, gesturing to Harry's wand.
Harry started to reply, "I tried—" but Han waved him off, turning to Luke. "Go get the princess. I'll try to shut off this alarm."
Harry shook his head as he ended the Disillusionment Charm and followed Luke. "I'd rather stick with you. Chewbacca can protect Han."
Luke nodded, and they made their way to Princess Leia's cell. Harry's heart raced as Luke keyed in the override code R2 had provided. The door slid open, revealing the princess lying on the small metallic cot inside. She turned her head toward them, her eyes sharp and assessing.
Leia's gaze lingered on Luke for a moment before she said dryly, "Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?"
Luke fumbled for a response, but Harry stepped out from behind him. Leia's sharp eyes immediately shifted to Harry, scanning him from head to toe with an unmistakable air of appraisal. Her lips curled into a faint, intrigued smile.
"And who might you be?" she asked.
Harry straightened, feeling a little self-conscious under her gaze but determined to make a good impression. "I'm Harry," he said. "We're here to rescue you."
Leia's smile widened, and for the first time, a new flicker of hope softened her features.
Kind Regards,

If you like this content do not hesitate to smash that like button and subscribe. Haha but seriously if you do enjoy the story - do favorite it, other than messaging me or leaving a comment it's the only way I know if you are enjoying the stories and chapters.
Story Note 1 – Thanks again to everyone who was interested and decided to vote on which story they wanted to see released next. For this story will try something new and be trying to take a little more feedback from everyone. Unfortunately, this might mean that there will be some rewrites of certain areas to incorporate the feedback so the release schedule has not yet been firmed down as I think some of these votes might require some serious work. However, do not shy away from reaching out.
Story Note 2 – Certainly, spruced up the fight scene on the detention level as that fight was a little bareboned and basically consisted of Han, Luke, and Chewbacca basically standing in the same place fighting off a number of guards and automated turrets. Felt this fight scene worked a little better. However, do let me know how it came off.
Story Note 3 – What a big chapter! Harry has used a significant amount of magic (and all the main characters around him are aware of it, at least most of them are and Leia soon will as well) and on top of that he met Leia! Probably the fastest either those two milestones have been reached in one of my stories. I know it seems to be a common request for those, so I hope you are happy!
Story Note 4 – This story will be a Harry centric story although there will be slightly more chapters focusing on other characters than my usual work. Maybe about 1/4 (usually Luke or Leia). And as the pairings probably gave away this will be a Harry/Leia pairing although Han will keep him sarcastic wisecracking relationship with Leia (just minus the romance). Additionally, even though this story will begin to diverge from canon significantly, there will be several ideas/concepts/characters I will be incorporating from the Legends continuity.
Story Note 5 – The title "Harry Potter the Star Wars Tale" is a working title so don't get caught up on that title. Currently hosting a vote and accepting other ideas. Thanks for your feedback!
A large thanks to those of you out there who enjoy my stories, I promise to keep updating the stories as long as you all are enjoying them, and a special thanks to those of you who have taken the time to leave feedback or have reached out to me directly.
