Arrival Preparations
"Ready as we'll ever be, Dragon." Jane said.
"Keep still, Dragon." Princess Lavinia said.
Dragon tried his best not to move around too much.
Jane and Princess Lavinia mounted Dragon's back.
"Shall we be off then?" Dragon asked.
"Let's fly, Dragon!" Jane called.
Dragon took to the sky.
In Enchancia castle that night, Amber was in her bedroom with Suzette Perkins and Marcy Wilkins-Chadwick.
Suzette and Marcy were helping Amber pick out a dress for when the royal family of Kippernium arrived.
"Which gown would you like to wear when the royal family of Kippernium arrives?" Suzette asked Amber.
"My chartreuse gown." Amber replied.
Marcy looked in Amber's closet, "Which chartreuse gown, Miss Amber?" she asked, confused.
"I guess I do have one too many," Amber admitted. "how about that one?"
Amber pointed to a chartreuse gown that was farthest to the left as Marcy brought it out to her.
"Would you like me to help you dress, Miss?" Suzette asked Amber.
"No thank you, Suzette," Amber said. "I can put it on."
Suzette and Marcy left Amber to change.
Downstairs in the kitchen, James was helping Chef Andre with dinner preparations.
"Prince James?" Chef Andre asked.
"Yes, Chef?" James answered.
"You expressed a desire to help in the kitchen, I could use some help preparing dinner for our guests from Kippernium." Chef Andre said.
"I am at your disposal, Chef." James said, saluting.
Chef andre was pleased, "Excellent!" he exclaimed.
Sofia walked down to the kitchen from her bedroom wearing one of her old commoner dresses and aprons, "I can help, too." she offered.
"Even better." Chef Andre said.
Sofia washed her hands and prepared to help James and Chef Andre, "Why is the Royal family of Kippernium coming, anyway?" she asked Chef Andre.
"There is a trade agreement between our two kingdoms which needs to be renewed every two years, Princess Sofia." Chef Andre explaineed.
"So, that's why Dad has been busy." James commented.
"Yes, Prince James." Chef Andre said.
