Seventh Sister's Balance

Ezra Bridger saves the Seventh Sister's life on Malachor. In this series, you will see the Seventh Sister become "Spectre Seven", born as Yalara Rusis. She will assist the Rebels to stay alongside Bridger, eventually being a mentor to Luke Skywalker. This is based off of Redeemed Seventh Sister (a fanfic I made early in my writing).

14. Luke's Next Step (2 ABY)

Ezra and the Seventh Sister were hiking on one of the rocky islands of Ach-To. Jacen Syndulla was walking with them, holding Seven's hand. Hera was busy with a mission, so Ezra and Spectre Seven were stuck on babysitting duty.

"Jacen is a calm one isn't he?" Seventh asked Ezra.

"Well, he got it from the best…" Ezra smiled.

"Once this little one is old enough, you will train him to be great like Jarrus. In our own order."

"Well, we are making our own order of force users right now."

Spectre Seven listened, feeding Jacen a spoonful of fruit paste from a tiny bowl in her pouch.

"Oh Ezra…" she smiled. "Training only Luke does not make it an order. We need more than just one person in it, you know?"

"But what about Jacen?"

"We haven't even taught him the basics of lightsaber combat yet!"

"Ha ha yeah!" Jacen finally spoke.

Ezra rolls his eyes and sighed. "I guess I stand corrected."

Jacen taught Ezra and Spectre Seven to be good role models and honorary uncle and auntie. Also, it gives practice for them to be good future parents. Luke, despite being the same age, seems like a little brother to Ezra. Luke still looked up to Bridger because of fighting for the rebellion and being trained as a Jedi longer than him.

Ezra and Spectre Seven sensed a big sense of realization coming from Luke in their force bond.

"Do you feel that?" Ezra asked.

"It… isn't something bad, but something important. Let's go to Luke to see what happened," Seventh squinted.

Ezra, Spectre Seven, and Jacen made it to the island Luke rests. Usually, he likes to have meditation sessions there.

Luke got out of his home, sensing his masters' presence. He straightened his back and bowed.

"Masters."

Ezra and Spectre Seven sensed a heightened concern from Luke. What caused him to be so concerned?

"Luke… something is concerning you. What happened?"

"Masters, Kenobi reached out to me as a ghost. He said that I have to go to Dagobah to meet with Master Yoda."

Seventh replied, "Master Yoda? I remember he trained me as a youngling at the Jedi temple. I did not expect him to still be alive."

Ezra added, "I remember hearing about him. When I once visited a Jedi temple, I had a vision where I spoke to Master Yoda."

Seventh smiled at Ezra, holding his hand. Malachor, the place Yoda told him to go, was the place she ended up joining Bridger and the Rebellion. Luke grinned that the duo were able to be together in such a chaotic situation.

"Well Luke we are going to come with you," Spectre Seven said.

"Thank you masters, I will pack up and get ready," Luke was enthusiastic about the next step in his journey.

"Hey! Don't forget we have to bring Jacen back to Hera," Ezra said, nudging Spectre Seven's shoulder.

Jacen started laughing. Luke's concerned look turned into a smile. It will all work out.
