I know it's been a bit, I've lost motivation for this story. I've got two chapters to upload, and at least one more in the works, hopefully I can wrap my head around it and get it out. Thank you all for reading.
Chapter 67- Arizona
"dude relax" I said rolling my eyes, Alex was driving me crazy.
"I can't" he says looking at me "what if she doesn't show"
"she's going to show" I roll my eyes again "she's upstairs with her mom and Callie"
"but what if"
"Alex" my dad's voice cuts him off "trust me she'll be there" I look over and see what my dad is wearing and can't help but smile. Alex was wearing the suit we had bought for my wedding, which was supposed to happen a week ago. I let out a sigh, I should be married for a week by now. "what's your problem?" dad asks as he sits down in a chair. Sighing I look at him "I was already supposed to be married" I say.
"so you're a week late" dad says "you know for a fact Callie loves you, and you'll be married in a few hours"
"and we'll all be one big happy family" Alex says
"aren't we already?" I look at him and he laughs, shrugging his shoulders, then turns to dad "what about you?"
"what about me?" he asks sitting back in the chair, Alex smiles "come on Pop, tell us"
"tell you what?" he asks, I smile as I see a small blush start to form on my dad's face
"how are things with Carlos?" I ask and for the first time since before my mom died I see a genuine smile appear on his face "things are good" he says "real good"
"who would have thought we'd all be dating Torres's"
"you two aren't dating, you're about to marry, me" he says "I'm never marrying again"
"that's your choice" I smile "but you're happy?" I see him smile and nod "I am"
"that's what matters" I say "you know, Alex and I are here, if you need to talk about anything"
"I know kids, thanks" he smiles, hearing foot steps I watch as his face change, Alex lets out a chuckle and I turn to see Carlos standing in the doorway. "that short lady sent me in to get you guys out of the house" he says "she's very bossy, and I got scared, so" Alex and I laugh, I didn't know Maranda Bailey all that well, but from what Callie has told me she's not one to mess around with. "come on" I say looking at Alex "let's go get hitched"
"that sounds so wrong" he laughs
"at least we aren't marrying each other"
"I thought that might happen at one point" dad says, Alex and I both look at him, I shake my head "Alex and I have always been friends, dad, nothing more ever happened between us"
"your mom thought that once too, you know, before the change" dad says I shake my head and look at Alex, eww just no, even before the change he wasn't my type. Letting out a chuckle, Alex says "come on, let's go" I nod and follow him out of the house.
