Several weeks had gone by since Harry began seeing Healer Strout at her office in Diagon Alley. The teenager did like her as his healer, and loved that they were able to talk about things the muggle way rather than just letting magic take care of things. Magic was good for a lot of things, but in these situations with healing from the past mentally, talking it out was better. Granted, in the last few weeks, very little progress had been made but hey…Rome wasn't built in a day. It would take time.

The rest of Harry's time was spent in classes, doing assignments, and studying. Ginerva, for now, had backed off. Or so it seemed. Harry was still minding her presence because his friends wouldn't lie to him that something felt off about how hard she was pushing to get Harry back into a relationship. Harry didn't know why, but best not to chance anything nefarious going on. Harry dealt with that enough when Voldemort was around.

However, one thing still hadn't cleared up. The situation where Harry continued to get sick at random, and within that…Harry had begun to notice other things that seemed off. During the beginning of October, Harry got heartburn and his nipples were tender. He first noticed that particular thing when showering. Harry also dealt with a slightly heightened sense of smell and seemed to be adverse to some foods.

There was using the bathroom more than he usually did. Harry felt bloated and he'd been moody. Gods, he was tired too. He thought he'd been tired before with not sleeping because of nightmares but it was worse. He also had frequent headaches. Harry wrote a lot of the things off as perhaps his body just…Changing. Before school started, he'd gone to the bank and went through a magical cleansing.

There were more than a few…Blocks in place that he got removed. So Harry just thought all this going on was just his body adjusting to normal. But the nausea and fatigue were the worst of everything, and unfortunately, it wasn't something he could just keep from his roommate, Draco Malfoy. Well, Harry had tried but they were always in their dorm early mornings and late nights. So Harry's issues did not go unnoticed by the blonde.

Draco had yet to say anything, but it was a Saturday and Halloween. Harry and Draco were both in their dorm in the afternoon. No real reason, but nothing was going on. Most of Phoenix House was out at Hogsmeade, along with nearly all the third through seventh years. The two had been sitting quietly at their desks, but Harry felt sick and Draco watched as the teen, like many times before, jerked several times before he moved as calmly as he could to the bathroom.

When Harry came out five minutes later, Draco was standing before him with his arms crossed. "Uh, hi there. Is your bathroom not working or something?" Harry inquired curiously.

"It works fine. I want to know what's up with you." Draco said.

"Nothing at all, Draco. Just feeling a bit under the weather is all. Tis the season," Harry shrugged.

"Well then you've been feeling under the weather all month, Potter. Because this isn't the first time that I've seen you just book it to the bathroom at random." Draco commented. "You rush off to the bathroom at random to throw up, you're exhausted. I've seen you make faces and refuse to eat foods you love…"

Harry sighed. "Look, I know it's none of my business…But you are my dorm mate, Potter. And something is going on. And whatever it is has been going on for a while, like since the end of September. It's been a month." Draco continued. "Are you sick with something that has no cure? Have you been to see Madam Pomfrey?"

"I told you, I'm just not feeling well. We live in a boarding school, it's the sick season. We're around a good six hundred other people all day…It just recirculates and my immune system is pretty weak." Harry stated.

"Potter, you know that's a lie and I know it's one too. I work in the infirmary right alongside Madam Pomfrey. We've seen a few colds, and quidditch injuries since school started. No one has come in complaining of being so sick they're running off to the bathroom multiple times a day." Draco remarked.

The green-eyed teen plopped down on his bed. "If you don't want to tell me as a roommate or friend, then tell me as a healer. I've been studying it long before I became Madam Pomfrey's intern. Maybe I can help. Is it something you're…Too embarrassed to bring to Madam Pomfrey? Tell me what's wrong." The blonde added.

"I just don't feel good, Malfoy. I haven't for weeks…I don't know what it is, and I've been too nervous to see Madam Pomfrey because I just wanted…One normal school year. I don't want anything to be wrong after everything I dealt with the last six years of school with Voldemort…" Harry confessed.

"I can understand why you're hesitant, Potter…Anyone would. But you can't just ignore this kind of problem. It's not healthy to be sick for a month." Draco informed. "So…Come on. I'll take you to Madam Pomfrey right now."

"I don't want to go, Malfoy." Harry said. "I'm fine, okay? I've survived a lot worse. It's just some random nausea and fatigue. It's my last year, and I'm dealing with nightmares. I'm tired and stressed…I'm sure it's nothing." Harry argued.

"Potter, listen to me…This isn't nothing. You shouldn't be getting sick at random and having it last this long and who knows how much longer. And on surviving, yes…You have survived worse. You said you wanted a normal year…So why are you suffering like all the other ones?" Draco asked.

Harry didn't have an answer for him. "Okay, how about this?" The black-haired teen looked at his roommate. "Why don't you lay back on your bed and let me scan you to find out what it is? Alright, and if it's something I know how to handle…We don't have to go to Madam Pomfrey. I'll take care of it. But if it's beyond me, we go see her so nothing bad happens to you?"

"I guess that would be okay…" Harry agreed. "I'm sorry. I know I'm being ridiculous…"

"You are," Draco rolled his eyes. "But I get it. Now lay back…" Harry did so and tried to relax. "Okay, you won't feel a thing. It's just a spell that scans you and gives me a magical parchment to tell me what the issue is." Harry nodded his consent to the spell. Harry closed his eyes, trying to relax. True to Draco's word, Harry didn't feel anything except magic wash over him for the spell.

"Alright, scan is over and let's see…" Draco paused momentarily as Harry opened his eyes while the blonde teenager was looking over the report. And then Harry saw the silver eyes of his roommate widen.

"What is it?" Harry asked. "What's wrong with me?"

"Well, I don't know if it's considered something wrong but…Harry, you're pregnant." Draco revealed.

Harry sat up on his bed, blinking in surprise as the words tried to process. Pregnant? Is that what Draco just said? Finally, Harry laughed a little. "Funny, Malfoy. You had me going there for a second. I appreciate the laugh, I feel far less anxious and nauseous now."

"No, Harry…I mean it." Draco gave the parchment to Harry. "You really are pregnant."

Harry glanced down at the sheet.

"Well, you must have done the spell wrong, Draco." Harry told him, waving the sheet a bit. "I'm not pregnant. I can't be."

"Have you had sex recently?" Draco wondered. "Or…Are you a virgin?"

Harry looked at him. "I'm…Not a virgin. And yes, I've had sex recently." He replied. "But what does it have to do with this scan being wrong, Malfoy? I'm not pregnant."

"Harry, if you've had sex then you can get pregnant." Draco told him. "Haven't you ever been told that having sex can result in pregnancy if you're having unprotected intercourse?"

"Of course I know that. My godfather drilled it into my head to be careful when I was fourteen." His green eyes narrowed a bit. "Malfoy, maybe you've forgotten…But I'm a male!" He stated firmly. "It says it right there on the sheet. Gender, Male. So explain to me how I can possibly be pregnant?"

Draco's eyes widened a little, and then he sighed. "You were never told that wizards can get pregnant, were you?"

"I…I beg your pardon?" Harry stared at his friend.

"Oh fuck…" Draco closed his eyes and sat in the chair to Harry's desk, then he looked at Harry seriously. "Harry…I know this is going to be a lot to take in, but listen and don't interrupt…" Draco paused. "In the magical world, wizards can get pregnant the same as witches can. Through sex. Alright? There are potions that wizards can take to conceive a child and carry it to term."

"But I didn't take any potions, Malfoy." Harry admitted. "I had sex one time with a complete stranger."

"Let me finish…" Draco remarked. "There are potions for gay male wizarding couples to use to achieve pregnancy." He paused again. "But in rare cases…A wizard can get pregnant without the use of any potions. These cases usually occur in powerful wizards. And you are exceptionally powerful for your age, Potter."

"So the one time I have sex. The time I lose my virginity. I end up pregnant because I'm powerful?" Harry asked.

"Among healers, there's no rhyme or reason for how it happens. It just does. Some wizards can get pregnant the old fashioned way and others need potions." Draco shrugged. "You've never been told any of this?"

"No! My godfather told me when I turned fourteen that I was at an age where I could be tempted to have sex and he didn't want to forbid me from it…But to just be careful not to get anyone pregnant. To take precautions…" Harry responded. "I was never tempted with a psycho bent on taking over the world after me, but with him gone, I figured what the hell. I'm bisexual, I was with a guy I met that night and it happened."

"Sorry to break the news to you, Harry, but it can happen. Wizards can get pregnant." Draco said. "So whoever you had sex with wasn't using any contraceptive spells or potions."

"Wait, hold on…" Harry stopped him, his eyes shifting side to side while looking down. "I…I slept with a muggle."

"Then you wouldn't be pregnant, Harry." Draco told him.

"But I did." Harry argued.

"Harry, this only happens with two wizards. A muggle can't get another male pregnant, but two wizards can. So whoever you slept with wasn't a muggle even though he may have appeared that way." Draco informed.

Harry stared at his roommate. Draco wouldn't lie about this, and hell, he lived in a magical world. Of course wizards could get pregnant and of course Harry had no idea who he had sex with! Finally, Harry got up off the bed and started to pace.

"No. This can't be…I can't be…" His hands were in his black hair, pulling at it lightly while he panicked. Draco sat quietly and watched. He knew it was just part of the process, the news would settle and then Harry would be more willing to talk. The green eyed teen began to rant to himself of how he could have been so stupid to sleep with someone he didn't know. Freaking out about what he was going to do.

Draco finally got up and put his hands on Harry's shoulder to stop his pacing. "Potter!" He got the teen's attention. "Just…Just, sit down and relax, alright?"

"I can't relax, Draco. I'm pregnant. I'm a pregnant male and only eighteen while still in school!" Harry glared.

"And I understand that, Harry, but sit down and we'll figure this out. Pacing the way you are is only making you panic more. So sit, take a few breaths and I'll help you deal with this. Okay? Can you do that?" Draco said. Harry sighed and plopped back down on the bed, eyes closed. Draco sat beside him. "Thank you."

"I just…I can't believe this." Came Harry's soft voice. "What the fuck am I going to do…?"

"You're going to calm down, like I told you to, and then we're gonna figure this out." Draco summoned a cup of water to his hands and placed it in Harry's hands. The teen sipped it slowly, trying to relax because the panicking was only making him feel sick again.

"We have to go to Pomfrey, don't we…?" Harry inquired.

"No. Not unless you want to. I've already been trained to handle pregnancy and birth for witches and wizards. I could stay your medi-wizard, if you wanted. I'm not legal, mind you…But as long as you consent knowing I'm just an intern, it's fine. And for the time being until you're ready to tell others, it can stay between us." Draco mentioned.

"I won't exactly be able to hide it as the baby grows." The teenager sighed heavily.

"Let's just take one step at a time, Harry…" Draco rubbed his shoulder a bit, trying to remember his training about offering a comforting presence in times of hard news. "How about we start with what you plan to do?"

"What do you mean?" Harry looked over at him, fatigue evident in his eyes.

"Regarding the baby. Do you plan to keep it? Give it up for adoption? Terminate the pregnancy?" Draco wondered.

Harry didn't say anything at first, trying to think about it quickly, but there was a lot to weigh in going through with this. "I could never terminate, it's murder in my eyes. I guess I'm stuck between keeping the baby and giving it up for adoption." He stated. "A baby is a lot of work and I'm only, technically, a teenager. I guess money isn't an issue with my inheritances but I'd…Likely be doing this alone. Still in school, not settled with a career."

"Well, you don't have to decide right now, Harry. Alright, you can take your time with it. I only wanted to know for the sake of how to proceed. If you had chosen to terminate, I would have had to either use a potion or done a removal procedure. Depending how far along you are. But if you're going to have it, whether you keep it or not, then I don't have to worry about termination." Draco explained.

Harry nodded that he understood. "How would you be doing it alone? Don't you have the Weasleys?" Draco decided to ask.

"I know I can trust Ron, George, Bill, Fleur, and Hermione…Maybe Arthur. But after what Hermione said regarding Molly and Ginny…I don't know if I could trust them. I trust Charlie too, but he's in Romania. George and Ron are busy with their jobs. Fleur, I believe, is pregnant herself. She and Bill are already dealing with a baby situation of their own." Harry shrugged.

"That's understandable. I believe Arthur is trustworthy. It seems like he's often confused so perhaps he isn't aware of his wife's and daughter's…Shenanigans." Draco worded carefully. "I'm not sure what else to label it with those two. I don't like the girl, but I don't have much to read about her mother to see if there's a link between them trying to get you into a relationship for some other reason."

"No, it's fine. I get it…" Harry took a deep breath, and drank more of the water. "I haven't done much thinking about me and Ginny with everything going on, but…I can say my feelings have changed. I like her as a person, a friend…But I don't see her as more than that, or even as a little sister. I grew up with her, you know?"

"Understandable." Draco nodded. "So you won't be getting back with her?"

"Not likely. Since the war ended last May has been enough time to figure this out. I don't believe more time is going to make me do a three-sixty and change my mind. Plus…I've got this baby thing to figure out now. I doubt she'll want to be with me while I'm pregnant and Merlin only knows how she'll react when she finds out." Harry said.

"I sense there will be some anger and jealousy." Draco remarked. "Guy she was with has sex with someone else while broken up, now that guy is pregnant. Did you ever sleep with her?"

"What? No. We hadn't been together long enough to get into all that. I know she's slept with others before, assumingly. I could be wrong." Harry replied. "What does that have to do with this?"

"I was using it as a factor in why she'd be angry and jealous. She may or may not have slept with others, if she hasn't and was a virgin…She might have been saving herself for when you two did it. She'll be mad to learn you had sex with someone else, and got pregnant on top of your feelings having changed." Draco shrugged.

"It's just…Like I said. I had wanted to get back with her until she started trying to get back together right away. Like just a couple days after the final battle. Then there was pushing, and you saw how she was that day in the hall. How she's been since…" Harry muttered. "Plus, again…Feelings changed. She's like family, and…Fuck, she looks like my mother. Red hair, magical, female…"

Draco snorted. "Point made. You should probably sit down with her and let her know it's not gonna happen even after you go through therapy."

"I will. But this takes precedence." Harry put his hand on the parchment informing that he was pregnant.

"Agreed." Draco nodded. "So then you don't mind me staying your…Unofficial healer through this? If something happens that I can't handle, of course, we can bring in Madam Pomfrey."

"Why would there be something you can't handle?" Harry inquired.

"Male pregnancy tends to be a lot more…High-risk with possible complications. I have been training, but if things get testy, it would be better to go to someone more experienced." Draco admitted. "But for most everything, Harry, I can handle it. I know all the potions you need through the pregnancy. I know all the warning signs for miscarriage and still-birth. I know all the spells to monitor you and the baby. I know how to deliver normally and with procedures to remove."

"Okay. Okay, you can stay my healer." Harry agreed.

"And we'll keep everything quiet. There are ways to hide the growing belly, but I can't stop the symptoms you experience. Some potions will help certain things, and then there are some that won't even make a dent to help. And there's a lot you can't take either." Draco informed.

"We can get into more detail with that later on." The blonde began again. "For now…Perhaps we should address the elephant in the room. Let's find out how far along you are first. When was the last time you had sex, Potter?"

"It was only the one time in August…On the 29th." Harry replied.

"Okay, well then there's no guessing if it was earlier or later. Unlike women, it's purely by chance when pregnancy takes. Males don't have a fertile period. There are obviously the fertility and conception boosters I talked about before. There are contraceptive charms and potions too, for men and women to prevent pregnancy." Draco took a breath. "But, if your only time having sex was that day in August…You're about nine weeks pregnant right now."

"Nine weeks? What does that mean?" The teen asked.

"There are forty weeks in pregnancy. Nine months. You are nine weeks along, so you are about…two months and a week into pregnancy. When you hit twelve weeks, you'll be considered three months pregnant." Draco stated.

"So what's this elephant in the room?" Harry pushed.

"Who is the other father?" The blonde wondered curiously.

"I don't know." Harry admitted.
