"Tch, I can't believe the damn girl managed to poison me after she died…"

Walking through the infinite sand dunes of Wind Country was an older woman, with brown hair and steel-gray eyes muttering to herself in frustration as her vision grows blurry, "I must be getting sloppy or something…"

Her feet continue to shuffle through the sand as she trudges along. "Fuck, gotta get to Selance and find a doctor, I am not dying because of a sneak attack…"

She just knows her sensei would be making fun of her when she arrived at the Pure Lands if she did since Pakura-sensei was all about being aware of your surroundings. Which in all honesty was ironic considering how she died.

Just then, her ears perk up and her eyes narrow as she sees several large clouds of sand approaching her at fast speed. "Shit..today is not my day.."

The clouds get larger as they come close, showing that it wasn't a dust storm, but arguably something worse.

"Damn Sand Raiders.."

"Well, well, well, if it ain't Maki of the Desert Winds." A voice is heard from within the sand cloud and as it disperses, several men and women could be seen riding giant sand lizards wearing tattered clothes and face coverings. "Looks like you ran into a bit of trouble, eh?"

The man who spoke was obviously the boss of this little group and she could also tell without x-ray vision that there was a sneer on his lips hidden underneath his headwrap. "Did you finally cross the wrong person after wrecking all of our camps?"

Maki frowns. She hadn't killed any of them today. At least not yet anyway. "I didn't fight any of you raiders today! You must have me confused with some other person." She responded with steel in her voice, matching the fierce look in her eyes. Her body wasn't in the best condition to fight. And maybe talking things out might let her leave unscathed.

The leader seemed to ponder. Maki was an S-rank ninja who easily defeated A-rank ninjas in the dozen. Anything under would be simple child splay for her. So he knew, deep down that this woman would not struggle one bit defeating his subordinates. Even still, now was an opportunity to cash in big.

"Be that as it may. You've killed some of my people in the past." He grinned wickedly at her.

"Looks like I'm not talking my way out of this one."

"I think it's time we get some revenge, cash in on that big bounty of yours." Maki resolved herself and pulled out her weapon of choice. It was small, damaged, and on the verge of breaking. A bloody steel sickle.

"You can't get it by standing over there, can you? Bring it on assholes!" Maki played defensive as she used a half-ram sign to summon a strong tornado of wind. The sand around them kicked up into a storm that concealed her movements as she disappeared from their view.

A woman's agonized scream came first. then another male, the thud of a body, another one and another. The sand quickly became stained in red blood as Maki showed no mercy in her deathly cuts.

"I'm going to kill you!" The leader shouted to the wind in a blind rage. He was on edge as he turned at the sound of every little noise. Which was a lot since he was in the middle of a sand tornado.

"This is why you little sandworms never became much in the first place. You all lack discipline and training." Maki appeared from thin air. Her clothes had become bloody and stained.

The man did notice how she seemed to be breathing heavily. So he saw it as a weakness and immediately attacked her side. "You bitch!" He rushed her as fast as he could, intent on slicing right across her chest with his sword. That's when he saw Maki's left arm twitch, the arm where she was holding that bloody sickle.

Blood flashed across his vision as he saw his own right arm float to the ground. He looked down to see from his right shoulder down was entirely gone. His blood didn't flow, but burst from his arm like a water jet. He screamed at the top of his lungs and wailed.

"You weak piece of shit. Did you think I couldn't kill you because I was weakened?" Maki scowled. her injuries from that Rain ninja didn't make it easy for her. But it wasn't exactly the wounds she suffered, as the girl didn't really manage to hurt her. It was the poison she struck her with upon her last-ditch surprise attack.

"Please! Let me live!" He put out his other arm in surrender. Only to be horrified as even that arm was cut off.

Maki didn't give him any words, simply looking down her nose at him. She raised her right hand and wind started to swirl around it until she willed it to sharpen and vibrate. It was now a spinning saw on her hand, but only for a second. That's because Maki released the Wind Shave toward the Sand Raider who didn't stand a chance. This was the same jutsu she used on that Kunoichi earlier which left the girl face down in a pool of blood.

This man was split in half and died within seconds. Maki looked around and tried to see if anyone else was around. Not even the giant lizards remained as they started running once the bodies started dropping.

Nothing, everyone was dead. So she walked in the direction of Selance having to push her body to try and find a doctor before the poison claimed her life.

The group of Yokai were now running through Wind Country in the direction where they could feel the burst of chakra. Karin being the most adept at sensing led the way from Naruto's back. she was naturally bossy, or as Tayuya called her.

"A bossy bitch."

"It's stopped, And I can only feel one person's chakra. So it must be the woman we are looking for." Karin dropped her head back onto Naruto's shoulder and snuggled as deep as she could. The sun was still draining her energy leaving her lethargic. If it wasn't for being a Uzumaki and being fed chakra by Naruto, she'd probably just be lying in the sand and burning up.

"Good job Karin." Naruto felt Karin's happiness as she licked his neck where her mark was located.

"So what the fuck are you doing once we find her?" Tayuya asked. She was just sick of this heat and wanted to be done so they could leave.

"We will most definitely fight. Maki is a kill-first-ask-questions-later type of woman. She's on the run and poisoned from what Ajisai says." Haku speaks up, being the only one from the group to have met the S-ranked kunoichi. "She'll probably refuse, say this and that, then join."

"Then come night he'll have his dick down her throat right?" Tayuya already knew the routine and shouldn't have even asked.

Her sarcastic words make Naruto grin. "And the same's gonna happen to you if you keep up the smart remarks."

"Tch, you want me to drain your musty balls some more? Gah, I know this mouth's got you hooked. but you'll make the others jealous." Tayuya laughed. "Ow!"

Until she felt her ass slapped by Kiyomi. "You're not fooling anyone, you always beg for it."

Tayuya blushed and turned her angry eyes. "Fuck you, snake-haired Medusa bitch!"

"It's okay Tayuya, we've all been there. when he's glaring down at you with those bloody red eyes, his strong hands on your head. forcing you down. or when he goes all the way into the base, with no lube." Haku became lost in her fantasy as her pale cheeks heated up.

"Anyways, are we close Naruto?" Samui brought them back to the main topic.

Naruto was about to answer until Ryuzetsu landed in front of them, letting her wings fall back into her skin. "She's right up here."

They all walked over a large sand dune and saw the bloody bodies already being devoured by the carnivorous sand. Their bodies lay around the sand, with patches of blood, and detached limbs. It was a horrid sight, not even most battles with shinobi were this bloody.

"Well, I guess she doesn't play with her food." Samui remarked stoically. She was the most experienced of the group, so she had seen her fair share of bloody massacres. even partaking in them sometimes. Her first time seeing something like this was when Yugito lost control of the Two Tails chakra once.

She acted like a savage beast at that time, using her claws to dice, cut, and pierce.

"Understatement," Karin said.

"She just did this, her body collapsed up ahead." Ryuzetsu led them through the bodies. Just a couple feet down was another body collapsed in the sand. "This is the S-rank ninja Maki." They surrounded her and all stared.

Naruto told Karin to give him a second. She got off to give Naruto space, even though she didn't want to. Karin enjoyed his touch, chakra, and warmth. It was a well-known fact she was the clingiest. But so was Naruto, so he never objected to the handsy girl.

Naruto turned her over and saw sand stuck to her pale face. The purple markings covered her pale cheeks. She was breathing thankfully, but her breaths were shallow and looked to be painful to her. Her short brown hair was tassel in a mess and also contained sand.

"Damn Ajisai! What kind of poison did you hit her with?" Naruto turned a bewildered look toward the named girl.

Ajisai blushed and felt nervous, to say the least. "Oh, it was just a fast-acting p-poison meant to target the enemy's nervous system and lungs. My plan was to potentially force her body to shut down in order to fight the poison. I-I guess it worked slower than I needed it to." How strange of a mission this had become. She was set up to die only to be saved by demons and turned into the very same.

"A poison that targets the nervous system? That's no small feat." Kiyomi patted her on the back. "Impressive, you will have to let my snakes ingest some the poison."

"You just want to become immune to it. Trying to cancel any weakness you might have." Ryuzetsu said. She easily saw through the ploy and wondered if Kiyomi could even be poisoned anyway.

"I doubt you can be poisoned anyways Kiyomi, Orochimaru basically gave you every poison on the planet. every mix, every cross, contamination, and cancer. If Ajisai could still poison you, then you'd best just forget about being immune to it." Karin observed as she went to push her glasses up only to remember she no longer wore them. "I guess this calls for further studies and experimentation."

Ajisai still answered Kiyomi. "I can definitely let you try. However, now that I'm a Yokai my poison has become a lot stronger." The young Yokai saw fit to warn ahead of time. One of Kiyomi's snakes licked her face.

"Kiyomi, can one of your snakes take the poison out?" Naruto asked.

"Yes, but considering how long that poison has been in her. This isn't going to be quick." Kiyomi kneeled down on the sand. "Ajisai, do you know where you hit her?"

"The left shoulder."

Kiyomi moved Maki's collar aside and used her sharingan to find the small hole the senbon needle penetrated. "This will make things easier, I will still need to find large congregations of the poison and drain those. Once that's done, I can just purge the poison from her system using Healing Chakra."

"Take your time. we don't want her dying after going to such lengths to find her." Naruto plopped down on the sand. Karin all but teleported in his lap. He smiled softly and rubbed her head causing Karin to beam happily.

The others saw fit to make themselves comfortable as well.

"Hurry up! I don't want to be sitting in the fucking desert heat all day." Tayuya grunted and showed an aggravated expression.

"Just sit back and relax, like she said, it might take a while." Samui says with a groan as she lazily stretched like a cat and fell back.

"Tch, whatever."

Roughly forty-five minutes passed and Kiyomi was finally done taking out the poison. When Kiyomi stood and stretched, everyone turned to see she was done.

"Finally, I was thinking you just wanted to feel her up." Naruto said. He had observed the process with a keen eye. Kiyomi had to undo Maki's top, leaving her modesty covered by the chest wraps she wore. The Sand Kunoichi was blessed, to say the least.

But the snake Yokai was inspecting her body intently looking for any dark patches on Maki's skin. She found one on her back, left collarbone, middle abdomen, and right armpit.

"Anyways," Kiyomi chose to ignore that comment. "She's fine now. All that's left is for her to take some of your chakra."

"Great." Naruto patted Karin's ass with a bit of force to wake her up. She sat in his lap with her legs closed behind him while her head lay snug in his neck. "Come on, time to move."

Karin stirred. "Carry me."

"Not now, I have to heal Maki."

"I can wait here." Karin held tighter.

"Get off him bitch! We don't need to be in this damn dry-ass desert any longer!" Tayuya came over and just dragged Karin off.

"Let me go harlot!"

Naruto left the two girls to have a fistfight in a comical cloud of smoke as he walked to the shirtless Maki. Naruto took a knee next to her head and held her mouth to his wrist. It was a good thing the girl was knocked out or she would definitely resist. Kiyomi opened Maki's mouth allowing Naruto to slip his wrist in easily. Then with a clamp of her jaws, his chakra was being fed into her body.

It was just a couple of seconds and Maki's body was coming back to life. Her skin took on its natural color again, which was a slight tan. No doubt from the sun and all the time Maki must have spent outside. Her wounds began healing within seconds and her reserves were back to being full.

Maki's eyes blinked, her brows knitting as the brightness of the day was a stun to her eyes. Her silver eyes saw spiky blonde that was more of a rich gold than anything else. He also had red eyes, red-like blood, or a dark ruby. His face, god his face. This young man was handsome beyond belief! He had a sculpted jawline and strong inhuman features. Feral whisker marks, and upon his grin, she saw those sharp animal-like fangs.

"And I think you charmed her." Ryuzetsu noted looking at how mesmerized Maki was.

"He is a handsome man isn't he?" Kiyomi kissed Naruto's cheek.

Maki heard the other's voice and looked around. Her brain started to work and motor functions in her brain started working. Maki struck at Naruto's throat, but he seized her arm by the wrist and looked into her eyes.

Maki didn't wait for anything and stood pulling Naruto up with her in a show of agility. Naruto caught the kick she threw and blocked the two fists that followed. With a hard yank on Maki's wrist, the blonde pulled her down and shoved her into the sand.

"Now that you have that outta your system, want to talk?" Naruto showed a grin as he looked down at Maki, playfulness and mischief finding its way into his eyes.

"Who sent you?!" Maki yelled! She tried to struggle but Naruto had her arm twisted behind her back. If he wanted to, the demon fox could have pulled her arm out of the socket or even off completely.

"Nobody did, we are here for you, yes. But it's because I want you to join us."

"And why would I do that?"

"Do you have a reason not to? We can give you a reason to live again. instead of just wandering around and killing anyone who gets in your way." Naruto let her go and quickly backstepped. As in that instant, Maki had done a sweep kick before getting up and jumping back.

Maki counted her adversaries. She counted eight in total, One male and seven females. They weren't wearing any headbands which meant they didn't belong to any village. Obviously they were shinobi, especially the guy. Upon looking at the handsome shirtless young man again, she recognized his face.

"You're Naruto Uzumaki. Aren't you supposed to be dead?" Naruto Uzumaki had become a bit famous over the past years. His biggest accomplishment was in saving her former village's Kage, Gaara. Everyone from her village knew him.

He was also strong from what went around. He was battling the terrorist organization Akatsuki. So the shinobi community was a bit shocked at hearing he was pronounced dead at Blood Prison of all things.

"Yet, here I am?" Naruto announced. "You should know you can't always believe what you see."

"I don't want a lecture."

"And I don't want to give one. Just join up with us, you have nothing. Allow me to give you something." Naruto held his hand out and softened his features to portray his honesty. The girls behind him looked on warily, ready to protect him if need be.

Maki still didn't let her guard down. Her chakra was already surging through her network and enchanting every inch of her being. She met Naruto's eyes, and they held each other's gaze. Maki didn't stop at just his captivating red eyes. Maki searched deeply, looking with not just her eyes but attempting to feel if Naruto was someone she should follow. She knew Temari had said Naruto was a good and honest man, his fist and words alone changed Gaara forever.

Maki wasn't a sensory ninja, but she knew when someone was lying or telling the truth. However, you couldn't always judge by what you saw in their eyes or what they said.

"To understand someone, judge their honor and pride."

Words of her late and great sensei, Pakura.

"I will follow you under one condition." Maki finally relaxed after being done gazing into Naruto's eyes. "Face me in a Vayuu Harib, if you win, I'll accept your request to join." She declared strongly. Maki would finally see what Naruto was really made of. She had heard a lot about him. Now it was time to judge for herself.(1)

"Vayu Harib, huh? Been a while since I participated in one of those," Naruto states with a fond smirk, remembering the time Temari challenged him nearly every day while he and Jiraiya stayed in Suna during his training trip. Though she said it was to help him with his newly discovered wind nature, he knew it was just an excuse to beat the crap out of him so she could take the lead during nighttime activities. "So, you want us to fight to see if I'm worthy, right? Okay, I'm game."

"That sounds like something a samurai would do." Ryuzetsu pipes up, thinking back to the stories her mother used to tell her back when she was a child.

"That sounds nice." Samui pipped. "I've never seen something like this. And I am curious to see what Naruto can do." It would be interesting to see exactly how much he'd grown since their time with Yugito in Frost Country, especially now that he was a yokai.

"He's going to win. I doubt Maki is going to be a challenge for him." Kiyomi thinking of Naruto's power throughout the years and the many battles they engaged in together.

Maki gave a smirk. This would be easy, never had she lost a duel in her entire career of being a shinobi, the exception being her late sensei. "Only Wind Chakra and jutsu allowed. the first to admit defeat, or dies, loses."

"Alright, easy enough." Naruto showed a grin and prepared himself. A fight was something he was in need of at the moment.

Maki pulled a kunai from behind her and tossed it in the air. The girls created distance behind Naruto to give him enough room. If he would even need that much room, he was stronger than all of them.

The Kunai hit the sand.

Maki in a vacuum of wind was rushing at Naruto who was surprised at the innovative move. She was in her own typhoon of sorts as she rushed toward him. Once Maki arrived, she struck with a wind-covered fist that had sharp wind blades surrounding it.

Naruto ducked and swung his left hand toward Maki's gut. The attack wound up with him hitting air as Maki was lifted into the air, like she had been raised upwards by a geyser of wind. Naruto turned and looked up to see Maki in the air floating down.

"Wind Style: Wind Sickles!" Maki threw out a volley of paper-thin wind sickles.

It was merely dodge training for Naruto as he nimbly and quickly evaded the attacks. Naruto's chest puffed up and the next second, A torrent of wind compressed into that of a beam escaped his mouth. "Wind Style: Severing Wind!"

A wind-styled variant of the Second Hokage's Severing Wave. Maki knew that would skewer her if it hit. So, she thrust her palm upward, blasting her to the ground. "Wind Tunnel!" She was in a mad dash toward Naruto once again. This time, a Wind Sickle in her hand.

Naruto dodged Maki's swipes and tracked her moves like he had his own sharingan. Deciding to be a bit playful, Naruto flicked Maki's right breast. It almost came out of the bandages and Maki glared at him, aiming to kill with her gaze alone.

Naruto was mainly playing defensive to gauge how far Maki wanted to take it. She was going hard but not using everything she could. Perhaps she did want to lose, if so.

Naruto's limbs flashed and in a show of speed, Maki suffered at least nine direct hits in a matter of seconds that could make lightning look slow. His senses had become godly, he used them to see Maki's next move, precognition on the level or even greater than the sharingan.

"Wind Current Flash!" Delivering a strong punch to Maki's gut, she was sent rocking at least a hundred yards. carried by the force of the blow and the wind. She was also being inflicted with hundreds of small cuts that stung and drew blood.

Maki expelled a burst of her own wind. She collected herself and thought of her next move. "You're good, I didn't think you'd be this good." Maki spoke and somewhat gave a compliment.

"Thank you, it wasn't easy." Naruto landed thirty yards in front of her. "Are you ready to join now?"

"No, just a bit more. I haven't fought anyone who could keep up with me in a while." Maki flipped through hand signs. "Wind Style: Wind Serpent Jutsu!" Wind collected to form a giant snake made from wind above her. Its devilish blue eyes gleamed at him as it rushed at him with great speed,

Naruto punched the snake with just his raw power. And it blew up violently. Blades of wind were sent out and cut up his body.

He healed after, so the damage didn't matter. His cloaked danced in the wind as he saw two more Wind Serpents rushing him. This time, Naruto dodged and countered by sending a Wind Palm towards Maki.

Naruto's attack made contact with the air around Maki. Like it had run into a dome and faded out of existence. "A dome of wind? You are really good Maki. Now I want you even more."

"You're gonna have to work for it!" Maki looked defiant. Like thrusting an invisible sword, Maki sent a tunneling jutsu toward Naruto that he dodged easily.

"I'm a lot stronger than her. I'm stronger than I ever was before." Naruto thought to himself. This fight was becoming dragged out. Maki only landed one attack on him, an attack that did nothing. While he barely hit her, his attacks were still being felt.

"I'm going to end this now." Naruto didn't say it arrogantly, but like he was stating a fact.

Maki sent a hail of Wind Blades at Naruto who simply walked through the blades. Some managed to injure him, while others just blew his cloak, showing his physique to the onlookers. His V-taper and lean build, muscles that were designed for combat. His body was sculpted and bred to do battle.

"Wind Style: Wind Tornado!" Maki summoned a giant tornado. A tornado that would level streets and small villages with its sheer intensity. The sky had now become dark and blocked by its velocity.

Naruto burst from the turbulent winds, his expression passive.

"Wind Current Flash!" Naruto struck Maki again with the same jutsu. She once again was sent flying. "I am lacking Wind Jutsu. This is the best I've got. I wonder if my Wind Rasengan would be cheating." Naruto moved off in a burst of speed above Maki.

"Give up, or I'm going to hit you with this." Above Naruto, was just a giant ball of wind. Around the ball of wind was a spiraling ring of wind. "I literally just made this so I'm not sure how much damage it would do."

Maki's mouth hung open. It was ginormous, larger than even that Wind Tornado she just made. It was glistening and even shining. she could hear the jutsu screaming, like a banshee. That attack was demonic in nature, such power and focus. It's a feat of Chakra shape Manipulation and control.

"So, what's it going to be? Am I going to hit you with this or what?" Naruto asked again tilting his head.

Maki was not stubborn. She knew when the wind was too strong to test. So, with a pain in her heart, Maki accepted defeat. "You win!... I give up!"

Now he grinned. "Good." His grin looked like a fox about to cause a ruckus. "But no way I'm going to edge myself, I want to see what this is gonna do." Naruto started laughing. "Run Maki!"

She did as told, and began running back to where they started.

Naruto then let the jutsu drop. There was obviously an explosion, an explosion of earth, sand, and wind. A deep cut opened on his shoulder. "Woah, That's to the bone." Naruto also felt many more cuts, smaller ones, microscopic cuts. "No way! It's like the Rasenshuriken!"

He couldn't observe any further as he also had to run or be caught in the expanding destruction. While running, he scooped up Maki in his arms.

"I can run on my own, Uzumaki!" Maki protested.

"Not fast enough!" He jetted off to his women with a big grin. Once they were in sight, he started yelling for them to run. He passed them with a cheeky grin as he didn't slow down.

"What the fuck are we running from?! Hey, Shithead get back!" Tayuya yelled in rage.

"Probably that." Ajisai pointed at the approaching blast before taking off.

Karin was the first to run after her, followed by Kiyomi and Samui. Ryuzetsu grew her wings and flew off. Haku, and Tayuya started running as well, while the pinkette cursed her blonde boyfriend the whole way.

Even when rushing, the group of yokai and Maki just barely managed to escape the attack range of the giant windstorm produced by Naruto's impromptu wind jutsu. Yet still, they were all affected by the sand that was kicked up in the process and exploded out in all directions, making a cloud that fully encompassed them.

Once it finally settled and cleared, all of the girls had to shake the sand from their hair with Tayuya being particularly annoyed as her pink hair shook from side to side. "Really shithead? Was that actually necessary?"

Naruto also shakes the sand out of his hair and grins with a shrug. "Hey, you guys got to fight Orochimaru's rejects and Kiyomi got to fight Killer Bee. This is the first fight I've had in a while and my blood was pumping so I couldn't help it."

From in his arms, Maki's eyes go wide. It was a good thing she decided to give up. If that hit her it was likely that the only thing that would've been left would be scraps of bloody clothing. "So um, now that I lost, what do you plan to do with me?"

Looking down at her, the blonde dawns a wide smirk. "What if I told you I was going to strip you down and have my way with you?"

A shocked expression comes over Maki for half a second before a look of acceptance replaces it as she sighs. "Well, you won, and if that's my fate, so be it…"

It was tradition that in the event of a Vayuu Harib the loser had to obey the orders of the winner. It was either that or death via suicide to maintain your honor.

There was silence in the group as everyone looked at her in either disbelief or, in Ajisai's case, a wide-eyed blush. But, it only made Naruto laugh out loud. "Haha, oh man. I was just kidding, but if you say so~"

He then looks at the other girls, "you guys wait here. I'll get to know Maki a little better, then we can set off." With those words, he floats into the air, fully surprising the brunette in his arms, and takes off in a random direction at a high rate of speed.

"You can fly with wind chakra?!"

Maki's surprised yell faded as the two left rapidly.

"Tch 'get to know her a little better' my ass. That asshole just jizzed in all of us last night and he still wants to fuck another woman? Ridiculous." Tayuya scoffs with narrowed eyes as she watches the blonde disappear into the distance.

And while she was still staring a pair of arms wrap around her as Ryuzetsu giggles, "is that more jealousy I hear? I wonder what would make you get rid of it? Should he put a baby in you?"

The dragon yokai's teasing has Tayuya madly blushing as the thought of becoming pregnant and having a baby with the blonde flashes in her mind.

Would it be a boy or a girl, would it have her hair color or his? And finally, would the child come out as an oni, a kitsune, or a mix of both?

"Gah! Fuck off Ryuzetsu, I'll never have kids with that horny bastard!"

"Hehe, never say never~"

Smirking a bit at the scene, Kiyomi grabs the attention of the rest by clapping her hands together. "Alright, let's go find a cave or something for shelter in the meantime. Naruto will come find us when he's done. Haku could you carry Karin?"

"The one you mentioned last night?" Ryuzetsu smirked.

"Never enough for you is it?" Tayuya snarled.

Instead of answering, Naruto gave her a warm smile which echoed from his heart. She couldn't help blushing, understanding his smile for what it was. He wouldn't get rid of her, and he wasn't out to replace her. Naruto was happy and wanted all of them.

Samui smiled and rubbed Tayuya's head while the yokai pouted. "Alright Naruto, we'll get ready."

It didn't take long after that for them to get up and get out. The cave was cleaned out and they made sure to erase all traces of them ever being present. The idea of someone tracking them wasn't at all frightening to them. Naruto had pure confidence that if anyone wanted to trail them and engage, the battle would end in their favor ten out of ten times. So it was only out of habit and training they cleaned the cave of all fluids and belongings.

Now they raced across the desert, sprinting to the next destination. They were fast, beyond what a shinobi is capable of, even if that shinobi could use chakra to speed up. They had been sprinting for a total of four hours and still casually talked and exchanged jokes along the way. Ajisai and Maki were extremely surprised at their new speed and stamina. They may have been breathing harder than the others, Ajisai more than Maki. It was still a very intense speed that even ANBU didn't move at.

"We'll stop in a minute, the border to Rain is coming." Naruto said and his voice carried easily over the wind rushing past their ears.

"Already? It's at least Two and a half days to Rain from the village." Maki couldn't believe how fast they had been running. She didn't even know they had covered so much ground in such a small amount of time.

Ajisai was also shocked. She didn't even get this far when she was rushing toward Wind Country. It left her puzzled that she had been so weak before this transformation.

They finally were out of the sand and back onto grass. The group didn't go too far into the forest and stayed close to the border. Now it was time to set up a new temporary camp while they wait.

"Naruto, where's the girl you're meeting?" The redhead Karin asked while fanning herself. She was glad to be out of the sun and sand.

"Well, if I'm right, she'll be here in three, two one…"

"Naruto you asshole!"

They all looked up as the forest rumbled from the shout. Rushing from the tree line was a pissed off young woman with short black hair and onyx eyes like Kiyomi. She thrust a red pole at him, said pole then quickly extended.

The speed at which it could extend caught them all off guard and Naruto managed to catch it just in time as it was aimed at his chest. He was still being pushed back in the dirt slightly. Smirking at her, Naruto saw Kurotsuchi growl in frustration.

"You are an ass!"

"And you have a nice one."

The fight resumed and Kurotsuchi closed the distance, being nimble and fast, trying to constantly strike Naruto with her staff. Naruto managed to get in close and strike Kurotsuchi in and grappled the bo staff from her before tossing it to the ground, making the earthen construct shatter on impact.

It was a battle of taijutsu now and Kurotsuchi found herself on the end of a beating and taking constant abuse. Naruto jumped back going through hand signs. "Wind Style: Great Wind Bullet!" The large house sized volley of bullets flew toward Kurotsuchi.

"Earth Style: Earth Wall!" The ground in front of Kurotsuchi changed and rising with perfect timing was a wall of stone blocking Naruto's wind jutsu. She was surprised as the wind tore apart the Earth Wall and would have been destroyed if she didn't use more chakra to reinforce the wall more. Kurotsuchi then jumped in the air and pointed a finger at Naruto. "Stone Finger!" The wall shot out a thick finger that was headed straight toward the fox yokai.

That finger surprisingly scratched him. He didn't think it'd do anything, but he looked down to see a little trail of blood escaping his skin. It healed up afterwards and made it look like he was never harmed to begin with.

He walked back and saw Kurotsuchi looking smug. That was until she noticed the lack of damage and became shocked. "H-How? You're not damaged at all."

"You did manage to cut me." Now he was smug, feeding off her building anger. "Oh, you are just so cute when you get angry."

"Bastard, fine. I'm done." She crossed her arms and pouted, now seeing Naruto outclassed her. It would be pointless to keep fighting him when one of her strongest jutsu only left a cut on his perfectly sculpted body.

Naruto chuckled as he came back. He ruffled her hair feeling the soft strands of hair on his palm. "Say, your hair's pretty soft." He used his other hand now and was holding her head in both his hands.

"Shampoo and Conditioner." She had to look up at the man messing up her hair. "Get your damn hands out my hair!"

"Hold on." He pressed the girl's face into his chest and was caressing her dome.

She had enough and pushed off. "You touch too much!" She used her hands and patted the wild strands down. "Now, I have some things to tell you if you're done. But first, who are all these girls?"

She raised an eyebrow. "The hell does that mean?"

"Okay blondie, tell me what this whole business about avenging my uncles is about." Kurotsuchi starts as she sits and lays her legs on Naruto's lap, giving a pointed look at the blonde.

Kurotsuchi's onyx eyes look at the small, round ball in Naruto's hand with a confused expression. "What's so special about it? It just looks like a normal food pill to me."

"Eat it and find out."

With a smile he hands the pill to her, making her once again inspect and even smell it. "Naruto, I swear to the sage if this is another one of your pranks, I'm shoving my bo staff up your ass." Giving him one last warning look, she pops the small sphere into her mouth and swallows.

Seeing this, Naruto puts on a teasing smirk. "Oh, and I forgot to mention. It'll hurt."

"Huh? Say that beforehand you bastaaa-FUCK!"

Before she could even curse him out fully, Kurotsuchi suddenly felt pain in every single fiber of her being, causing her to suddenly jerk her legs out of Naruto's hands as she almost spilled over out of her seat.

While this happens, a dark brown monkey tail suddenly sprouts from the base of her spine along with brown fur growing across her forearm, and right after, from the split open ground, molten gold suddenly rises up before coming apart in three different sections. The first two fly toward her tail and form two rings, while the last moves toward her head, turning into a headdress that wraps around her forehead. (3)

"What the hell was that?" Kurotsuchi asks, her open mouth now showing long, monkey-like canines in her mouth as she looks at herself in wonder. After taking that mysterious pill, she felt even more connected to her chakra than ever, and even felt that she had suddenly comprehended some of the jutsu she had been practicing lately.

It was almost as if she had reached a type of enlightenment and now, she felt even more powerful than ever before.

Naruto smiles as he gazes over her changes as well. "A Sarugami huh? I guess it's the influence of your uncle and the tailed beast he held." Also attracted by the noise, the ones who went hunting came back, only to see Kurotsuchi had undergone changes. "Anyway, you're a yokai now, like the rest of us."

As he says this, he and the others take his words as a signal to transform as well, making Kurotsuchi's eyes go wide as she looks at the different features everyone has. "So that's why I could barely put a scratch on you.."

"Yup. How are you feeling?"

"Good..Great, even. I feel so much energy coursing in me.. I need to meditate on it."

"Yeah, it'll do that," Naruto says with a chuckle before turning to the other girls. "In the meantime, how about we get what you guys caught cooking on the fire."

While everyone disperses to start doing as Naruto said, Kurotsuchi sits down with her legs crossed, but instead of closing her eyes, she reaches into her ninja pouch and pulls out an old scroll she managed to 'borrow' from her gramps' place before she left the village.

The scroll actually contained instructions on how to perform the Kekkei Tota, Particle Style, created by the first Tsuchikage, Mu. She had tried to study it before, but for some reason she could never really get it down and seeing as she was leaving the village, Kurotsuchi decided it was best to take the scroll with her for her to practice with.

She's sure the old man wouldn't mind too much.

Unfurling it, her eyes scan across the texts and as expected, the techniques and concepts that were once hard for her to understand suddenly all made sense. "Hehe, I can even understand the stuff gramps couldn't…this is gonna be so badass."

The smirk on her face was so wide it attracted the attention of the others at the camp.

"Oi, what is she smiling so creepily for?"

"You really shouldn't be talking Tayuya, since that's what you look like anytime you thought of a new genjutsu to use with your flute."

"Bite me, Ryuzetsu."

While the two were talking, Kurotsuchi looks up from her scroll and puts on a mocking smirk. "Oh? Are the concubines being noisy? You know I'll end up being the head wife soon so you shouldn't talk bad about me or else I'll punish you in the future~"

Her words immediately set off Tayuya. "Huh?! Who tha hell are ya callin a concubine?!"

Ryuzetsu, on the other hand, began giggling. She honestly didn't mind being referred to as such since she had no want to be 'at the head' of the harem, and she knew Tayuya didn't care either, but since Kurotsuchi said her words so bluntly, it just sent the pinkette off.

Of course, Maki and Ajisai had nothing to say in contradiction to Kurotsuchi's words either. They both just joined yesterday after all.

"You're not gonna argue about being a 'concubine'? You've known Naruto the longest out of all of us after all." Karin asks Kiyomi, who just watched Tayuya and Kurotsuchi from off to the side.

The Uchiha shrugs and smirks. "Well one, I know for a fact Naruto isn't the type to put us in categories like that or favor one person over the other, so I'm not even worried. And two, if he did, it would either be me or Hinata as head wife anyway, so there's no use in arguing."

Hearing her explanation, the redhead couldn't help but nod. As for her, she and Naruto already marked each other so there was no real concern over her own position.

"Alright, alright, no fighting and let's eat." Deciding, it would be best to interrupt the argument before it could get too heated, Naruto gestures toward the food that was done cooking over the fire. "After we're done, we'll go to Rain and end the Akatsuki."
