Day 3 of the training camp. It was evening when the action could finally start. The final players have arrived, the pieces were in their place and it was time for action.
Mustard would use his quirk. Dabi or his newly made clones would light the forest on fire as black smoke was seen in the air.
The Vanguard Action Squad was now able to move throughout the forest, and Magne was even able to quickly subdue Pixie-Bob.
As everyone was moving, you had your own agenda. Sure you'll get Bakugo, but first went to follow a certain someone and isolate him from the rest. You stepped behind Moonfish and used your ice quirk in the same manner Shoto Todoroki did and froze Moonfish solid. That way Shoto can get the credit for that and not you for being a backstabber because someone didnt follow Stains ideals.
"Scum, you dont deserve to be among us." you say coldly as you glare at the frozen solid villain as you continue the path he was stalking. Bakugo would be your target now.
I looked up how it worked, Katsuki Bakugo, your quirk allows you to secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from the palms of your hands and ignite it on command, allowing you to create strong explosions. You can be countered simply. If you dont sweat, you're quirkless. You're literally a sweatlord and all I need is to lower your body temperature so you're too cold to produce sweat.
You looked towards the visible blue flames in the distance
"The fact theres a forest fire might be a bit tricky. But its plausible" you spoke to yourself as you planned to turn your battlefield into a mini blizzard to cause Bakugo to shiver.
Before you traveled much further, you heard footsteps. You decided to go instinctively for the stealth approach and you jumped up the trees and sat on a branch. There you saw Tokoyami and Shoji, who were on high alert. Shoji seemed to have a sensory mutant quirk as you saw gross ear and eye appendages. So you silently hid and stealthed it out, to be out of his sight.
"Shoji look!" Tokoyami said as he saw the frozen solid Moonfish.
They approached the frozen villain
That was an unexpected bait. Never thought to use Moonfish that way. No matter, that hunk of flesh might prove useful after all. I can work with this. You thought to yourself as you prepared a strategy and listened in on them
"Was Todoroki here? Wasn't he supposed to be after us?" Shoji asked as he was confused how can there be a frozen villain since no one else in their school group had an ice quirk aside from Todoroki who wasnt here yet.
As they were talking, all you did was wave your index finger to form ice spikes, swords and axes in the air and sent them raining at the two. Your goal was to release a strong flurry of attack that was deadly and they wouldn't be able to defend from. So they could run and retreat as they weren't Bakugo. You watched as they desperately dodged the raining sharp icicles and got separated and hid in the bushes. To your surprise Shoji didnt dodge them all and one of them sliced through his hand or ear appendage which caused it back to change into a hand. Whatever it was it was gross and was an extra limb, so he wouldnt miss anything. If anything that was nice bait for Bakugo
A frozen villain and a severed hand. In case Shoji and Tokoyami lingered, you created ice spikes that protruded from the ground in those bushes and hiding spots. You didnt care if they got stabbed or not. What mattered was that they scattered off and away. Now you would just lie and wait. Why search when you got ambush setup bait? The other villains can waste their energy and search. You're just gonna be chillin.
So, You waited for a while and imagined others had their epic fights. Dabi against Eraser Head? Magne and Spinner against Pussycats? Muscular going ham. Mustard was still going strong with his smoke as you could still see that fog that was close to your range. Hell, Mustard inadvertently helped you out as no one will be able to back away from you now, otherwise they'd fall asleep. Maybe you should thank him later once you catch Bakugo.
After a bit of more waiting, you encountered them and watched them as they neared your area
"Jackpot." you said to yourself as you saw not only Bakugo, but Shoto as well who was carrying a sleeping 1B student, this was perfect. You moved into action
"Dammit!" Bakugo complained as they moved through the forest, holding his mouth so he doesn't breathe in any gas
"There must be some sort of gas filling through here. Im worried about the others who are still in the forest. But I don't see theres much we can do now. Hopefully Ragdoll can take care of everyone else" Todoroki spoke, being the calm and rational of the two
"Dont tell me what to do Icy-" he stopped as he saw you as you jumped in their pathway, blocking them and crossing your arms
"...crap. Who's that?" the two spotted the severed hand on the grass behind you, which did leave them internally panicked and frightened
"Hey which group was infront of us again?" Bakugo asked
"Tokoyami I think. And Shoji" Todoroki replied
"No fighting. Is that the rule?" he asked Todoroki
"Why dont you come quietly and no one gets hurt" you asked, more in a taunting non serious manner, since you heard them speak about not fighting
"What do you want?" Todoroki asks you, cautious of your villainous motives. Naturally being untrusting.
You also take note of Todoroki since he's now infront of you in person. He is Endeavors son, right. But his eyes those eyes, you wanna place them elsewhere. A topic for another time. But you'll remember that for later.
You just point at Bakugo
"The League wants that bozo. Apparently he's good using his stupid and destructive explosion quirk-" before you finished Bakugo exploded verbally, interrupting you from finishing your sentence and Shigaraki's demands
"OR MAYBE YOU'RE JUST BAD AT USING YOUR QUIRK! DID YOU THINK ABOUT THAT! I'LL KILL YOU WITH THIS QUIRK YOU HELIUM FILLED MORON! WHY CANT YOU JUST GET GOOD AND GET DEAD ALREADY! SHEESH MINETA'S A BETTER BEST GIRL THAN YOU!"
You were just mildly speechless and jawdropped. And then proceeded to talk to Todoroki as if Bakugo didnt speak or exist "And thats why the League wants him. Isnt he villanous and shit?"
"I can see what you mean." he felt a bit of second hand embarassment from that outburst, but tried to justify him "He may be a bit harsh with his words, but Bakugo is far from a villain" Todoroki spoke to you
"Hey! Dont ignore me!" Bakugo spoke to… someone. Either you or Todoroki or both
"Listen, you have one more chance. Bakugo either comes quietly or I'll use force to drag him to the League. I cant slack off forever you know? I'll look bad infront of others" you spoke as you readied yourself, giving them one more chance to avoid being stupid and fighting you
Tho, you suddenly felt a shift as Bakugo suddenly ran to you. No, this wasnt surrender, the fool actually wanted to fight
"I can focus if you got out of my damn head!" Bakugo said to someone as he was running "I can take care of myself!"
You grin and unleash a blizzard in your battlefield, you focus on lowering the environment's temperature. 4 degrees Celsius aka 39 degrees Fahrenheit. Just above the freezing point of water. 4ºC is a winter's day. It's just slightly above the temperature you want in your freezer. That's how low you made the temperature. Of course you can always go lower and be unphased, but no more Bakugo sweat. The boys were cold and Bakugo was in a tshirt, not in winter gear. He was gonna be too cold to sweat for now
"Don't rush into this fight carelessly!" Todoroki makes an ice wall between you and Bakugo "Weren't you listening to Mandalay and her? They're here because they're after you!"
"Telling us not to engage and then changing their minds. I dont know how but I have a feeling this is Deku's fault. I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS!" Bakugo tries to leap into action from behind their icy cover, but because you're the ice master here, you just make ice spikes sprout from Todoroki's ice wall, where Bakugo and Todorki barely dodge it. They were close to being hurt by it.
You then take control of Todoroki's ice wall and cause the ice to change its shape into a big wolf and cause it to leap at them, which they were forced to dodge and play this fight defencively
"Dammit. She's using my ice against us!" Todoroki spoke as he avoided the attack
"This girl looks like a scrawny little sidekick to me! COME ON YOU BASTARD!"
You make a sword of ice and charge at them, literally come in swinging where they have to deal with 2 threats, your bladed swings or the ice wolf that would bite and tear them. They were forced on the defencive too much. Tho Todoroki was at a disadvantage as he was carrying a person. Todoroki was observant though, as he noticed your slices for him were going in non lethal areas. You had no reason to pull your punches, but you did. Especially when he was holding a student on his back and had lower mobility. He then also noticed the frozen villain and connected the two and two that you must have frozen him. But he had no idea why. Was it competition on who would get Bakugo? Like a villain bounty? What was going on on your end of things.
But now as you were now close range to them, you can feel your power growing as you copy Bakugo's stupid quirk, but the more interesting quirk reaction is the Half Hot Half Cold. You felt a change to both your ice and fire quirks. Definitely another topic for later to explore.
"Interesting" you couldn't help but comment to yourself
"This clearly isnt her first battle!" Todoroki spoke as he avoided your attacks, albeit barely and tried to communicate with Bakugo. Todoroki still had that mental note about you. Getting the feeling you just wanna hurt him or scare him off. Your wounds would definitelly hurt or disable him from fighting and assisting Bakugo. But lethal or not, he couldnt allow any attack to land.
You gain a bit of distance now to see them meander. Bakugo desperately trying to create an explosion but only gets a few sparks and barely that as the temperature was dropping now to 3 degrees or 37 in other measures
"We cant start fires because flames will spread! Everyone could die if we're not careful. And we cant use ice because she'll take it and use it against us! Do you understand me?!" Todoroki spoke to Bakugo as he kept his eyes on you and your icy creation
"YEAH I GET IT IM NOT STUPID!" he angrily replied as he desperately tried to make an explosion but couldnt, he hid his worries behind a bravado of anger. The only thing keeping him from shivering was the adrenaline
"We cant fight her and we cant retreat because theres poison gas everywhere" Todoroki realized your trap. If he uses ice, you control it. If he uses fire he can burn down the forest, which he's too considerate to do. And the temperature is so cold that Bakugo cant sweat and produce his explosions. And they cant retreat because of the gas that can knock them out. His eyes widened from the shock when he realized that they were trapped with their quirks neutralized.
"Do you get it now? You cant leave. Bakugo is ours" you said as you change your tune from carefree, nonchalant and jovial to something more cold and serious. Although you knew that you shouldnt draw it out. You need to get rid of Todoroki and get Bakugo. And you need to be quick, the longer you draw this out, the bigger the chance that things go south
"Anywho, Im bored now. So time to finish this!"
You use your quirk and Todorki notices ice forming on his feet. You were freezing him. You wanted to freeze him and the 1B student solid, so Bakugo is alone and grabable. He used a bit of his fiery side to prevent that, but he was still worried about harming the student he still carried or causing an even more wild wildfire. The stuff from Dabi was enough. Any more fire quirks and this place would be cinders
"WOULD YOU JUST USE YOUR FIRE ALREADY YOU DAMN NERD! AND HEAT ME UP SO I CAN BLAST THIS STUPID POPSICLE!" Bakugo yelled at Todoroki so he can get his wakeup call
"I cant!"
"IF THE TREES BURN JUST COVER THEM WITH ICE, STUPID!"
"A big explosion will impair my vision tho! I may not be able to see the fire! And how do you plan to get close to her anyway? She'll just use her quirk to freeze you"
As you went to move for the grab, you suddenly stumbled as the ground shook. All three of you looked to the left to see trees toppled
"There! I see ice! They're fighting!" a new voice spoke
You squinted your eyes to see who was in the distance and then, you were shocked at what you saw
"What in tarnation!?" You exclaimed when you saw it. It was Shoji holding a Deku, running for their lives from Dark Shadow
"Bakugo! Todoroki! One of you! Give us some light!" Shoji yelled frantically as he ran towards you all.
Dark Shadow quickly stomped on the frozen Moonfish with its fist and freed him from the ice. Shoji narrowly dodged the ice shards and debris from that blast
"Kacchan!" Deku called out to his friend
"Its Shoji and Midorya" Todoroki was being captain obvious "and is that… Tokoyami?"
"WE NEED SOME LIGHT NOW! HE'S OUT OF CONTROL!" Shoji yelled with his extra appendage mouth
You stopped making a blizzard and allowed the arena to normalize and you quickly used your quirk and turned the smaller ice wolf into diamond dust, just sparkles and remnants of ice as you focused on making something bigger. Luckily Moonfish made himself useful once again
"Flleeesssh. Meat. No good… Im the one who gets to slice them open. DONT STEAL FROM ME!" Moonfish was ready to attack everyone, that included you as you saw the blade teeth approaching you to skewer you.
But then Dark Shadow made itself useful as well, ironic "YOU DONT MATTER! INSIGNIFICANT BUG!" the rampant quirk spoke as it grabbed Moonfish and shattered his quirked bladed teeth and just yeeted the villain full force which caused him to slam into a tree and fall unconscious.
It bought you enough time to create a bigger version of yourself made of ice. The same size as the huge Dark Shadow as the construct grabbed Dark Shadows hands and was locked in combat. The two quirks trying to overpower one another. Tho you needed to focus a lot on maintaining control and power over your icy construct, so you couldnt divide and conquer to catch Bakugo,
You merely glanced at them as they made a run for it. You couldnt catch what they said. But if you had to hazard a guess, it was probably shock that you were able to push back against Dark Shadows' powerful attacking force. Or something about how itd be a stupid move to weaken dark shadow with you here. Or commenting about how there was no more gas, which now that you think about it. It was gone
Shit, was Mustard beat? Did anyone else fall?
Granted you didnt know that Muscular was also down for the count. In any case, now it was just you versus a rampaging Tokoyami and Dark Shadow. Luckily you knew how to neutralize him. Courtesy of Bakugo during the Sports Festival. Light was Dark Shadows' weakness. And besides, if you didnt see that, Shoji just yelled it out moments ago.
As Dark Shadow and your huge icy double struggled on who would crush and overpower one another, you quickly thought. The stupid option would be to just use fire yourself to light him up. But then Tokoyami would reveal that you have Fire and Ice like Todoroki, unless you kill him. Honestly, you dont want to murder a child. So an alternative was in order. You quickly ruffled your pouch for supplies
Lockpick, first aid bandage, binoculars, cellphone, 6 small vials of a clear coloured but cloudy liquid of foreshadow, unused sticky notes, a used pencil, an e- Wait wait wait. Rewind there. Sussy liquid? No, further rewind. Cellphone. As in smartphone. As in Flashlight app. Yeah! You dont need a quirk!
Ok, you had a plan how to neutralize Tokoyami.
You didnt waste time as you grabbed your personal phone and gripped it tight. You ran straight at Tokoyami. Between your giant ice statues legs as it was still deadlocked with Dark Shadow which headbutted the huge ice statue of you and knocked it back a bit.
You were quick on your feet though and kept Dark Shadow distracted just long enough to grab Tokoyami in a headlock. The bird headed student looked like he was suffering and trying to regain control. You saw the look of despair in his eyes as he looked at you. Most likely in fear that you'd kill him. After all, you were a villain to him. But you didnt want to kill him and you genuinely felt bad for him suffering like this. If anything, you felt compassion for him. And you wanted to end his struggles with his rampaging quirk. But now your physical vincinity caused you to copy his quirk. You had no time to think whether to hold onto it or get rid of it.
When you got him in a headlock, you fumbled around and tried to unlock your phone. But it was hard as he struggled against you
"LISTEN! LISTEN TO ME! DO YOU WANT TO KEEP RAMPAGING AND HURTING YOUR CLASSMATES!?" you yelled at him as he tried to get rid of you. Dark Shadow noticing you by Tokoyami. Your time was short. And you started to panic
"IF DARK SHADOW GETS ME, YOU WONT GET CONTROL AND YOU'LL HURT PEOPLE! INNOCENT PEOPLE, NOT JUST VILLAINS! AND IF YOU DONT WANT THAT THEN JUST OPEN THE FLASHLIGHT APP AND LET ME SHINE A LIGHT!" you only managed to unlock your phone, but you didnt get to press the button, because Tokoyami struggled against your headlock. But when he heard your words, he understood what needed to be done. He stopped struggling against you and helped you turn on the flashlight app because you couldnt reach the button and keep him held in a headlock
But once the light was on and you shone it on him, Dark Shadow instantly started to retreat, shrink and calm down. You also deactivate your quirk, but you notice that Dark Shadow did a number on it. The upper half of the body was gone, shredded and shattered. That couldve been you if you were a second slower.
You let go of Tokoyami and cursed at yourself for letting Bakugo escape. You had him. You. Had. Him. You then looked at Tokoyami who was now on his knees, exhausted and out of breath.
What to do with him?
Tho suddenly as you blinked, Tokoyami was gone and in his stead it was
"Compress?" you were surprised to see him, but glad nonetheless.
"Apologies for being late. I would have arrived sooner, but you created quite the snowstorm which disabled me from quietly approaching them" Mr. Compress spoke as he held the small blue or turquoise coloured orb
"Bakugo got away" you felt defeated and upset for letting him escape when he was in the palm of your proverbial hand
"Fret not, we can still get him. Come on" he said and went on ahead, being rather encouraging to you.
"I'll provide the backup" you said as you followed him
As you two swiftly travelled through the forest, you felt your quirk work as you gained the knowledge and the power to use his quirk. It allows him to 'compress' anything in a spherical area around his arm into a small, marble-like object without damaging it. He can only compress his target if he is touching it.
Suddenly, realizing you two caught up to Bakugo who was in the back and running with those students, Compress used the shush hand gesture for you to keep quiet as you watched him in action as he touched Bakugo's back and turned him into that pill sized orb.
Nice! Mission success, now what? Well for now you followed Mr. Compress's lead. Tho when he signalled you to stay in the back where you won't be seen right away, you nodded and complied. Letting him take the lead when it came to dealing with the students.
You couldnt help but to admire the villain, you dig his style. Both his ways of villainy of what he does and just his physical style. He wears a dark orange shirt with the collar left upturned, a green striped bolo necktie with an oval-shaped azure brooch hanging around his neck, a black waistcoat, and black dress pants. He wears knee-high white boots with wedged heels and black toe-caps, plain dark red gloves, a tall brown top hat, a red ribbon tied around it, and a pale feather sticking out on the left.
Over his head, he wears a black balaclava, over which he wears a white mask with a black geometrical design. And to top the entire look off, he also wears a dark yellow, double-breasted overcoat with buttoned shoulder tabs and a high collar, which reaches below his knees, and he additionally carries a silver walking stick with a gold handle.
You totally dig his style, making you wonder whats he like under that mask. Tho before you could think, you see he motioned you to stay hidden as he went to mess with the heroes you guys caught up too. And told you that he would give you a cue when to appear.
So you nodded and hid nearby on the treetops as he would taunt the UA students, namely Midorya, Todoroki, Shoji, Ochako and Tsuyu.
"Nice trick, eh? I took the lad you were talking about with my magic. A talent like his would be squandered were he cast as a hero. We'll provide him with a grander stage where he can truly shine" Compress spoke to the students
You watch as Deku angrily yelled "Give him back!"
"Give him back? What an odd thing to say. Bakugo doesnt belong to anyone. He's his own person. Dont be so arrogant" Compress replied and you just kinda nodded to yourself, he had a point there. But still you watched intently for your cue
"WE'LL STOP YOU!" Deku yelled who was pretty helpless from being carried by Shoji, but still had that protagonist main character energy in him
"Right now!" Todoroki said as if completing Deku's sentence and immediately followed with his ice attack from his foot, sending huge icicles to blast away Compress or freeze him
This was now your cue as you suddenly sprung into action and jumped infront of Compress and manipulated Todoroki's ice attack so it goes around you two and used some of his ice to provide transportation for you two. Giving yourself and Compress 2 flying circular platforms which you were able to fly and control
"Why the aggression? We merely wish to show him there are options besides the fanatical world of heroism he's drowning in. Its important to choose a path that aligns with your core values after all" Compress said, being as elegant as ever. Showing the students that not only was he unharmed, but also that he wasnt alone
Shoji notices theres no Tokoyami, since you were here "Its not just Bakugo! Tokoyami's gone!"
"If you're monologuing because you think youre beating us, you're mistaken" Todoroki spoke to him
"A bad habit of mine. I was once an entertainer, you know? Taking Tokoyami was a bit of improv on my part. Moonfish, our dear blade tooth. He may not look it, but he's a dastardly death row devil whose last appeal was denied. When I saw the avian take him down so easily and violently, I decided he should join our troupe. Although, credit where credit is due. I couldnt have done it without my lovely assistant here" he says and motions his hand towards you ti give you a piece of credit as well
"Thank you. Thank you" you say and playfully bow, totally playing along with his magician and entertainer with an assistant shtick. Maybe you were enjoying it and into playing along
"YOU BASTARDS! YOU CANT TAKE THEM!" Deku was clearly angered by the blatant kidnapping and you two downplaying that
"Midorya, calm down" Shoji quietly spoke to the friend he was carrying so he wouldnt get hurt more. After all, Midorya was beat up from fighting Muscular and using his quirk
"Here take this guy for me" Todoroki spoke as he handed a student he was holding to Ochako and quickly did another icy attack, which you easily redirect with your own quirk. And then you start controlling the floating ice platforms to move, so you and Compress could meet up with Dabi and the others
"Apologies! But sleight of hand and escapology are my specialities, not combat. Im not foolish to fight hero candidates from UA!" he then reached to his ear to use his communicator "Vanguard Action Squad, we've acquired our target. Our little show has officially come to a close. Meet us at the retrieval point in the next 5 minutes for the final bow"
As you were floating above the trees in the forest, going with Compress to the retrieval point, you noticed the students start to run after you. Compress notices where you look to see the students still keeping up with the two of you there, running after.
"My word, it seems they want an encore. Why dont you take the center stage for this next act"
You nodded as you cracked your knuckles, knowing that you had a bit more combat experience than Compress. Granted you too preferred stealth, escapology and sleight of hand. But you had to do what you had to do
"Very well" you then look down at the students
"Well then UA students. The curtain rises once more! Second Act: The End of the Ugly Desire. It's showtime!"
"What is she talking about?" Midorya was confused about your gaming references. And because you were drawing so much attention with your own dramatic flair to match press, they failed to notice that you froze the ground into slippery ice, which caused the students to lose control and start to slip and slide out of control on the ice, where you conveniently just made a pole/pillar/column of ice. So they can nicely crash there, but Todoroki used his flames to melt the ice ahead so they can regain their footing properly and not slam into your construct. It was a dirty trick. Although it did cause them to stumble and lose some distance
Compress gave you a small applause in which you couldnt help but give him a bow
"Thank you. You're too kind"
"Never knew the League had a fellow performer~"
"More of an amatuer enthusiast" you reply, though you still glance behind toward the students who are running after you two. But you are losing sight of them, which was good and bad. It meant you are getting nice distance between you guys. But it also meant you couldnt see if they had a crafty trick up their sleeve.
Compress noticed your expression and tried to calm you "Fret not. There is nothing they could do now. And we are almost at our retrieval point"
All you could do is nod in agreement and let the students be and focus on whats ahead
But then, suddenly, before you knew what was happening. Something. Some force slammed into you, which caused you to slam into Compress, which caused all of you to slam hard on the ground. Luckily it was the retrieval point. Unluckily it was infront of Dabi, Toga and Twice. While being crushed by Deku, Shoji and Shoto. Being sandwiched between them and Compress.
"Whoa whoa, whats this! Oh hey wait, I know these kids/ Who are they?" Twice spoke
You didnt even register what was going on as things were moving too fast
"Out of the way you two" Dabi said as he was on his way to scorch everything in front of him flamethrower style
"Got it" Compress said and held onto you as he turned both you and himself in the small compressed marble
If things were moving too fast before, things got even murkier when compressed there with press. Where were you? Were you on top of Compress or was he on top of you. What position were you two in when curled up in a small orb. Did time pass here? What was going on out there? What if a marble is crushed while someones inside?
Suddenly you're back in the real world. You felt like you were on 2HP, since you werent strong defensively once receiving a good physical hit. And that slam did a number on you. If this was an anime, you'd have swirls for eyes as you were feeling disoriented. It took you to realize that you were in Compresses arms. Holding and embracing eachother. You felt a blush creeping on you, but you quickly distracted yourself by reacquiasing yourself with your surroundings
Shoji's extra arms were injured by fire, Midorya was dropped. So Dabi managed to hit them with his flames. Shoto dodged the ability since he was unharmed. Midorya was fending off Toga. And Shoto had a skirmish with Twice. Ok, now you had your bearings
You realized Compress let you go and you did the same as the two of you got on your feet
"I cant believe you wrecked my exit. Unrehersed amatuers" Compress spoke, annoyed how the students just interrupted how you two left
"You got Bakugo?" Dabi asked him
"Of course" Compressed replied as he ruffled through his pocket to realize nothing was there. You looked at the students
"Midorya! Todoroki! We're done" Shoji said and then turned to the villain "He gave away his best trick. I'm not sure what your quirk is, but it has to do with those little marbles, right? The ones you've stashed in your pocket. So Im guessing these are Tokoyami and Bakugo" he held up two marbles
"You rescued them" Midorya felt relieved
"Ohoho, well colour me impressed, just what Id expect from someone with so many hands. How splendid" Compress spoke as he complimented them
"Nice job Shoji" Shoto said as he formed an ice wall between the students and the villains so they could run and escape
"Moron" Dabi said

Compress who was walking into his portal stopped and spoke to Dabi
"Dont worry. They were so proud of themselves for going through my pocket that I thought I would let them gloat." he then turned to face his audience "But allow me to explain the basic tenet of magic. If I'm flaunting something shiny." he then reveals under his mask that he had the orbs in his mouth "Its because there's something else I dont want you to see" he then snapped his fingers and the marbles that Shoji held were revealed to be ice shards
"Is that my ice?!" Shoto was surprised to see that they got fakes
"That's right, during the freezing attack I prepared dummies and slipped them into my right pocket. A little bit of misdirection. Forgive me. I do so adore a twist ending. One last bow and the curtain f-"
Suddenly Compress was blasted in the face with a sparkling blue laser and lost his marbles. You shockingly saw Aoyama in the corner of your eye

"That laser ruined my finale" Compress snapped his fingers and suddenly Tokoyami was released and shown that he was the one who Shoji got
Bakugo tho appeared with the villains, with Dabi holding his neck
"Checkmate" he said and thus you all manage to get away with Bakugo

Well a lot of things happened this chapter.
You had a whole fight with Shoto and Bakugo. You stopped a rampaging Tokoyami. And you teamed up nicely with Compress. Vanguard Action Squad got Bakugo.
