The cold wind from the air-conditioning made (Y/n) stir in her sleep. She cracked one eye open. Groggy and barely awake, she searched for her duvet. It was still dark outside, and her sleep-fogged brain wasn't functioning yet.
Still searching for comforting warmth, she registered a heat source beside her—solid and warm—but her half-asleep mind didn't question what it was. Instead, she instinctively got closer, nuzzling against it with a contented sigh before drifting back into sleep.
The heat source, also known as Satoru Gojo, didn't stir. After more than 40 hours awake, exhaustion had finally caught up to him. So, when (Y/n)'s body pressed against his, he didn't react.
And just like that, the two of them unknowingly spent the rest of the night sleeping soundly in each other's arms.
Eventually, Gojo woke up first to find a disheveled (Y/n) snuggled against him, and for once, he didn't feel the need to tease—at least not immediately. The sight brought back memories of other mornings they had shared. To see her face better, he carefully moved her hair to the side.
The light tickle of her hair stirred her awake. Only then did she notice their proximity. Her face turned redder than a sunrise, and she muttered something incoherent as she quickly retreated.
"Morning, cuddle bug," Satoru said with a smug grin. "I almost forgot how clingy you were in your sleep."
Her face flushed even more. "I was half-asleep! You're just... warm, okay?" She grabbed the nearest pillow and launched it at his face.
"Ow!" exclaimed a mockingly indignant Gojo. "This means war!" He brandished the pillow like a weapon.
Smirking, ready to get his revenge, his eyes widened when (Y/n) instantly conjured a pillow with her cursed energy.
"Cheater," Satoru pouted, his bottom lip jutting out dramatically. "That's totally unfair. Who uses their cursed technique in a pillow fight?"
"Who uses Infinity all the time?" she shot back, raising her pillow, ready to attack.
Satoru chuckled, blocking her first swing with ease. "Touché. But two can play at that game."
What followed was a chaotic, laugh-filled exchange of pillow attacks. (Y/n)'s cursed pillow proved a worthy opponent, but Satoru's speed and agility kept him just out of reach—until one particularly strong swing sent them both tumbling onto the bed.
(Y/n) found herself atop Gojo, their faces so close that she could feel his breath on her skin. Her heart pounded, not only from the playful battle but from their sudden closeness.
Satoru's grin softened, his usual cocky demeanor giving way to a rare tenderness as they gazed into each other's eyes. (Y/n) could stare for hours into those endless, sky-blue eyes. Then his gaze briefly flicked to her lips, and without realizing it, she leaned in slightly.
And then, before they even knew what was happening, their lips met in a kiss. It was soft, tentative, and short. When they pulled back, they stared at each other.
"Oh," escaped (Y/n)'s mouth.
"Oh?" Gojo tilted his head in question. "What do you mean by 'oh'?"
(Y/n) blinked, her brain catching up to what had just happened. She scrambled to get off him. "I mean… Oh, as in… I wasn't expecting that."
Satoru smirked, his cocky glint returning. "Not bad for someone who's 'just warm,' huh?" He wiggled his eyebrows playfully.
Her face heated further as she clutched her cursed pillow like a shield. "What about our agreement? I thought we were just friends?"
"Now you're asking that after you kissed me first?" he teased, clearly enjoying her embarrassment.
"I did not!" she shot back.
"Pretty sure you leaned in first, sweetie," he quipped, getting to his feet with exaggerated smugness.
(Y/n) glared, trying to regain some dignity. "Fine, whatever. Let's just drop it, okay?"
"Hmm, don't think so."
"Ugh, you're insufferable," she exclaimed.
"Insufferable, yet kissable," he replied with a cheeky grin.
She sighed, tossing the cursed pillow at him again. "Can we please pretend this didn't happen?"
Gojo caught the pillow mid-air, examining it with mock interest. "Alright, alright, I'll drop it... for now. But just so you know, if you want a round two, I'm here for it."
(Y/n) groaned, stomping off to get ready for the day while Gojo chuckled behind her, clearly enjoying every second of her flustered state.

Since they had a late breakfast, it was already late in the morning when they left the hotel. After repeatedly asking what he had planned for the day, Gojo eventually revealed they would take a ship on the lake and even have lunch there.
The trip was pleasant. The fresh breeze was a welcome relief in the warm weather, and the food was excellent. However, (Y/n) couldn't shake the feeling that Satoru was more excited about his afternoon plans.
As they stood in front of a large building just outside the city, (Y/n) read the golden letters: *Lindt Home of Chocolate*.
"Hihihi, isn't this wonderful?" Gojo was practically trembling with anticipation.
"What is this? A chocolate museum?"
"No, it's much better. It's a chocolate factory. We can eat samples! And can you imagine? A nine-meter-tall chocolate fountain!"
"Wow, no wonder you're so excited. Let's go, then!"
Inside the factory, the scent of rich cocoa enveloped them, and (Y/n) couldn't help but feel a little excited too. The fountain was simply fascinating.
When they reached the tasting room, Satoru's eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store—literally.
"Unlimited samples?" he whispered dramatically. "This is heaven."
(Y/n) laughed, watching as he darted from station to station, piling his plate high with truffles and pralines.
"Are you planning to leave anything for the rest of us?" she teased.
Satoru grinned, holding out a chocolate for her. "Here. It's only fair I share, right?"
She accepted it, their fingers brushing briefly. For a moment, the playfulness between them gave way to something softer.
The day ended with them sitting on a bench by the lake, watching the sunset over the water. Satoru handed her a small box of chocolates he'd bought earlier.
"For you," he said, his voice unusually quiet.
(Y/n) raised an eyebrow. "You're giving me chocolate? Who are you, and what have you done with Satoru Gojo?"
He chuckled, leaning back against the bench. "Just thought you deserved something sweet… you know, other than me."
She rolled her eyes, but her smile gave her away.
As the sun dipped lower over Lake Zurich, the two of them sat in companionable silence, watching the light play across the water. The cheerful banter and laughter from earlier had given way to quiet introspection.
(Y/n) toyed with the ribbon on the small box of chocolates Satoru had given her, her thoughts heavy. She knew she couldn't keep avoiding the elephant in the room.
"Satoru," she began hesitantly, not looking at him. "There's something I need to say."
He turned to her, his usual grin replaced by a curious, slightly wary expression.
"About that kiss earlier…"
She paused, searching for the right words. Of course, Gojo couldn't resist teasing her.
"Oh, you want round two now?"
Annoyed but embarrassed, she slapped his shoulder.
"What? No! Well, I mean... it wasn't intentional, the kiss. I don't know why I did it anyway. You were so nice to me that I—I just felt like—"
As she stumbled over her words, Gojo cut in.
"Do you regret it?"
Hearing his question, she turned to him, searching his gaze. To show he had nothing to hide, he removed his blindfold, letting her see his eyes.
"No, not really. You?"
"Nope."
"Um. So what now?"
"I don't know. It looks like we can't just be friends," he said with a chuckle.
"After all the hurtful things we did to each other, can we even become something more than friends?"
Satoru's heart pounded furiously as he admitted his feelings. "We really did hurt each other, didn't we? But somehow, I still care about you."
The tension in (Y/n)'s face eased, though the butterflies in her stomach were restless. "After what happened during our pillow fight, I must admit to myself that I still care for you too."
For a moment, they just sat there, the tension between them dissipating. (Y/n) reached for his hand, lacing her fingers with his. "Do we try this again?"
Satoru squeezed her hand gently. "If you want, but this time, just without lies, okay?"
"Yes, I promise," she said, a small smile playing on her lips.
As they sat there, watching the last rays of sunlight disappear over the horizon, it felt like the first true step toward something new, something real.

Yes this feels so good to update this soon again although I have something to confess.
I have been cheating. I have been using chatGPT to brainstorm and help me jumpstart my writing because otherwise it would probably take way longer.
