AnimeFan13579: True, but sadly like usual, Izuku can't display his entire strength and the S-Ranks will notice it, making them weary of him.

Reader20448: Oh, he will.

Stream187: Sorry, pal. I already had plans for the Ruler's Host. Also, thanks, hope you are also okay in real life.

Whitemare: First, Touya's situation is much more complicated than simply healing him and bringing him back to his family. He had plotted revenge for years against Endeavor and seeing him getting what he deserved through the news will make him uncertain of his life, so he will have to be sidelined while handling his current emotions. His revenge wasn't simply on Endeavor, but on his entire family, his mind completely broke because of Endeavor's obsession that he didn't even care if his family wasn't at fault. So, your suggestion is complicated. Second, that's a good idea, and add the fact that it attracts the attention of the Federal Bureau of Awakeners. Third, yes I heard it, I watch the anime and play the game. Fourth, oh, the canon successor will make their appearances, especially during my future saga, Monarch's Domain Invasion, also for the shipping idea….I'll think about it….Sixth, don't worry about it. The Trinity will involved in every incident regarding hunters,

Doodle: Yes, I admit Goto's attitude is far worse than the manhwa counterpart. This Goto is not affiliated with the Japanese Government, has been obsessed with strength since he was a kid given Edgeshot's explanation in the previous chapter, and has a hard time accepting someone stronger than him like his canon counterpart, but since Izuku's a child and get to grow stronger way faster than him despite both are S-Ranks, it's insulting to him.

With Tokoyami and Melissa

"Holy shit!" Karasu yelps as he uses his extended limbs to catch both Melissa and Tokoyami from falling, even holding Melissa's laptop as well.

"What has Midoriya been eating!?" Melissa voiced her disbelief. "That punch created a tremor equivalent to a magnitude 4 earthquake on this building!"

"Oh, he's just built different." Dark Shadow says.

"Didn't Midoriya have explained it to you, Shield-senpai?" Tokoyami grunts as he regains his footing.

"Yes….still processing the entire information…" Melissa grumbles. "It's not every day you heard someone gaining power from a cosmic godlike being…."

"….I beg your pardon?" Tokoyami looks at her like she has grown a second head.

"….He didn't tell you?" Melissa asks with a raised eyebrow as Tokoyami shakes his head. "… Well, this is awkward."

"What do you mean by gaining power from a cosmic godlike being!?" Karasu whispers harshly at Melissa, looking at her incredulously.

Back with Izuku and Goto

"…." Ryuji looks at the crater, unable to believe what he has just witnessed. How is it possible for a boy like him to possess such powers? Nothing makes any sense! It can't be just a simple luck of a draw-!

Goto barely dodges another punch from Izuku before he follows up with a roundhouse kick. Goto was only fast enough to raise both hands to block the attack, but upon impact, he felt like a sledgehammer slammed into his hands before he got pushed back. He winces before looking at his hands and widening his eyes as he sees his hands are now bruised.

An attack from a fellow S-Rank deals so much damage. He looks at the boy and sees him staring at him with a cold expression. He takes a deep breath before sighing, giving his cold stare. Mana starts to leak from his hands before he raises both of his hands as it shapes into blades. Izuku raises his eyebrow at this.

Then, Ryuji charges with everything he has, striking his hand down like slashing with a sword. Izuku sidestepped to dodge it, but was taken aback by Ryuji's missed attack cleaved the floor like a hot knife through butter. Ryuji follows up with a strike to his left side, which also misses but the wind generated from the attack cuts some of his clothes. Izuku jumps back as Ryuji winces, clearly affected by the kick he receives.

"…." Then, Izuku uses one hand to imitate Ryuji's mana control, coating his hand with mana and shaping it into a blade. Everyone's eyes widen as Izuku casually imitates Ryuji. Izuku charges and does his downward strike, which Ryuji dodges but the attack cuts the floor like part of it was erased.

'H-he imitate me…all from just watching me!?' Ryuji looks at the damage Izuku caused before looking at Izuku, noticing a twitch on his lips. Ryuji's eyes widen as Izuku follows up with a similar strike that Ryuji used when he attempted to cause an accident. Ryuji barely ducked, but some of his hair strands were cut from the attack. It was at this moment that Ryuji started seeing red.

"You cheeky brat…" Ryuji growls as a burst of mana explodes from the swordsman before pushing Izuku away with a double palm strike, sending him back a few feet. Izuku was taken aback by the attack as Ryuji charged in and sent a flying slash with a mana construct of a dragon following suit. Izuku's eyes glow blue before he opens his palm and freezes the attack, shocking everyone.

"W-wait, he's a mage!?" Kei exclaims in disbelief.

"Well, his ID did say he's a mage/fighter. But….." Akari mutters in shock. "For him to freeze the attack so casually. He might be a better ice mage than you, Kei."

"… That hurts, senpai," Kei mutters sadly.

"Does anyone gonna question how in the world he froze the flying slash!? He freezes something that is supposed to be impossible to freeze!" Kenzo exclaims in disbelief.

"He freezes the mana," Kei explains, getting everyone's attention. "I got better mana senses than anyone and my ice could affect other's mana. I know a frozen mana when I see one."

"The question is, how do you or even him freeze mana in the first place?" Tawata asked, didn't bother to hide her disbelief.

"… The simple way to explain it is that we treat mana like energy flowing in water. In our body, it's like water vapor. When you release it, some energy is wasted more than it intended, which makes your attack less potent. As you know, loss of energy in water vapor leads to lower temperature and turns into water. What we did is amplify the loss of energy to freeze it, but he did it far more efficiently." Kei explains as everyone looks at him.

"… What part of it is even simple!?" Kenzo exclaims in disbelief.

"Wait, if that's true, then doesn't it contradict itself? I mean, ice magic requires to waste more mana!" Tawata points out.

"Well, there's a reason why freezing mana requires skills. The theory behind it is that the mana that you unleashed made contact with any magic, and immediately absorbed the energy radiating from an attack, used it to create an ice construct of said magic attack before the energy dispersed, leaving the ice intact." Kei says. "Or…at least that's what our lead magic research expert told us."

'But, there's another thing….' Kei thought. 'Such technique requires time before it completely freezes anything, yet Midoriya freezes it in an instant….following the theory, it requires a lot of time since Ryuji-sama uses 1/10 of his mana capacity in that attack and S-Ranks are known for their absurd amount of mana….'

Kei then notices that during the entire fight, Izuku has yet to attack Ryuji with all of his might. His sense of smell then notices something is wrong. Then, his eyes widen as he finally manages to detect multiple signatures that are not him, his guilds, or even UEIS, each of them was erratic to rip the Guildmaster's head happily, and somehow, Izuku exerts his mana to keep those presences at bay. What are these presences that Izuku uses everything to keep them from Guildmaster, and how did he even fight normally without showing any strains!?

"…" Ryuji watches in disbelief as Izuku grabs the frozen mana construct before shattering it. Then, the shards start to float, coated in green mana.

'Telekinesis as well!?' Kei thought in shock as Izuku shaped the shards into a buzzsaw and spun them before sending them flying toward Ryuji. Ryuji retaliates by striking it with his hands, shattering it. Izuku's eyes glow green before he clenches his fist, sending the shattered ice into Ryuji. Ryuji acts quickly as he spins and destroys every piece of ice before he notices that some of the shards hit him and starts freezing his hands.

Gritting his teeth, he flexes his hands to shatter the frost before looking back at Izuku but is met with a fireball almost hitting his face. Ryuji cut it open with his hands as Izuku got closer and hit it with a palm strike, then Ryuji felt an unbearable pain as electricity came out of his palm, causing him to shout in pain.

Ryuji manages to push through the pain to get away from the electricity, breathing shakily as he looks at Izuku. Izuku looks at him with a disappointed expression and a hint of pity.

"I don't get you," Izuku says as he gains Ryuji's attention. "This obsession for power and remaining on the top you've been feeling since I saw you in the guild….what's the reason? You treat it like it's your life or something….even to the point you attempt to kill me…..why?"

"I….have nothing to tell a brat like you…" Goto grits his teeth before attempting to attack Izuku again, but he casually grabs it, reinforces his hand with mana, and keeps the Guildmaster from pulling his hand back. Ryuji struggles to get off of Izuku's, especially with all the injuries and the fatigue he starts to feel.

'F-fatigue…..I feel fatigued facing the brat….' Goto thought, his pupils shrinking as he started to breathe heavily. 'T-this can't be true…..I work hard….very hard to get to the top….s-so close to being….at the same tier as them….'

His memories flash in his eyes as he remembers the day when he visited China and once encountered Liu Zhigang. He witnessed it himself, the skill, the strength, the swordsmanship displayed by the National Level Awakener himself. He even challenged him, believing he had a chance against someone, and believed he might put up a fight.

He didn't put up a fight, he slaughtered him, badly.

He didn't get to draw his blade at all, he didn't get to use his mana, and he didn't even get the chance to react. In a sheer second, his opponent disappears and his entire body turns numb before he collapses. He faces an utter defeat, against a who he believed was a nobody back then. He was humiliated, terribly.

'If you plan to face me again, try to achieve the National Rank…' It was the last words he heard from the man before he fell unconscious.

The shame that he felt was unbearable, unable to accept his loss to Liu Zhigang or Liu's strength, Ryuji did everything to gain more strength, in an attempt to humiliate him as he did to him. But, being a natural-awakened S-Rank, it's a struggle to be more powerful as they have a low growth rate.

The boy in front of him looked at him with the same pitiful look Liu had given back then. The boy who got the answers he needed, the secret that allows him to grow faster. He didn't know how, but the boy definitely possessed it, it's the only explanation!

"Fine…" Before he could do anything, Izuku pummelled his fist into Ryuji's face, breaking his nose as he knocked back. All Ryuji sees is Izuku's glowing green eyes that would haunt him for the rest of his life, as Liu's glowing golden eyes bore through his skull.

'S-screw everyone….' Ryuji thought before he fell unconscious. Everyone is silent as they watch a mere 15-year-old boy, who somehow looks like a young adult, beat the Guildmaster who's known for being a blade master that can turn anything into a bladed weapon, including his hands as displayed earlier. Izuku looks at the man before grabbing him and giving his unconscious body to Akari.

"Take care of your Guildmaster…" Izuku says before walking away, not waiting for the member's response.

"The winner of this round's sparring match is Izuku Midoriya," Edgeshot says before looking at unconscious Ryuji and sighing. He wonders what happened to his dojo sparring partner. After leaving the dojo, Edgeshot went to achieve his dream as a hero and Ryuji left with no traces. Then, when he finally reaches the Pro Hero's top 10 leaderboards, he encounters Ryuji once more and it is when he sees how obsessed he becomes in gaining strength.

Whenever he attempts to ask him, Ryuji brushes him off like he doesn't matter and even snaps at him when he tries to push it. He wasn't close to Ryuji back when they were still training in the dojo, but Ryuji was never that hostile. Since then, a clear rift starts to form between the two rivals. He hopes that the fight could've snapped him out of it, but he has a feeling it won't happen.

"You're okay, Izu?" Ochako rushes towards Izuku who merely nods.

"Yeah, just…..unnerved by his obsession…" Izuku mutters while scratching his cheeks. "… To be honest, I can't help but imagine myself becoming obsessed with power like him…."

"Nah, I doubt you'll ever become like him," Eijirou approaches and pats Izuku's shoulder.

"I dunno, Ei. It could've happened. I'm not exactly incorruptible, you saw it back then," Izuku says as Eijirou looks at Izuku before nodding hesitantly.

"Yeah, but you've learned to be better, bro. So, don't think too much about it," Eijirou says as he pats Izuku's back. If Izuku had no endurance, Eijirou might've broken Izuku's back with his strength.

Meanwhile, Akari can be seen healing her Guildmaster while sighing. She had never seen anyone manage to injure her guild master like this. Goto Ryuji is not just a normal S-Rank Awakener, he's supposed to be the strongest after Gang Orca and Godzillo, yet the boy she mistaken as a lost child had kicked his ass like bullying a kid, which is something she would never admit out loud.

"Geez, that kid's a true monster." Kenzo grimaces. "We never seen boss ever injured due to his insane speed, but the kid not only injured him but he did it so easily…."

"Don't say it out loud, idiot." Tawata scolded. "Boss may be unconscious, but he can still hear you! Or did you forget your attempt to sneak on him when he's resting from overwork?"

"….Don't remind me about it," Kenzo grumbles. He still remembers it very clearly, getting his ass handed in a silver platter by a man who was burned out from exhaustion and unconscious is humiliating. He looks away before noticing Kei seemingly lost in thoughts.

"Hey, Kei. Something wrong?" Kenzo asks as Kei looks at his senior.

"….It's about Midoriya. He didn't go all out during the sparring match…" Kei says as everyone looks at him.

"Um, elaborate?" Akari asks.

"….there are multiple presences hiding in this room," This made everyone tense up, looking worried. "I….have no idea what's going on, but…..all of the presences want to go after Ryuji-sama's head. Midoriya…..he uses the majority of his mana to suppress those presences and keep them at bay….while fighting Ryuji-sama."

"…..what?" Tawata looks shocked by this before she expands her senses, but she can't sense anything except the subtle flow of mana from Izuku continuing to leak.

"You're telling us that there's someone attempted to assassinate our guild master!?" Akari looks shocked and confused, wondering who's bold enough to attempt an assassination on their boss.

"Yes, but I have no idea who…." Kei mutters. "Sorry, I can't track their presence and Midoriya's attempt to keep them at bay made it more difficult."

"Don't blame yourself too much. I can't even sense their presence, only Midoriya's mana…." Tawata says as she looks at Izuku talking with his friends and walking out of the door. She then looked up and saw the two other kids that joined Midoriya and his friends following them.

"… You know, I just realized one thing," Everyone looks at Kenzo. "….remember the kid saying if he should get rid of our Guildmaster? It doesn't seem like he's joking anymore…."

"…." Everyone is silent before looking at each other in concern before they agree to not get into the boy's bad sides.

With Izuku

"You guys almost get us in big trouble."

Izuku looks at Igris, Kuro, Makoa, Taiyo, Mamoru, and Tank look away sheepishly, lowering their head slightly. Ever since the fight started, the shadows have grown restless and attempt to step out of Izuku's shadows in an attempt to take off Ryuji's head. Izuku had expected this from Igris, Makoa, Mamoru, and Tank given that they're blood-knights, but Kuro and Taiyo!? These shadows have corrupted their innocence!

"Apologies, my lord….seeing that repulsive human giving you such an unpleasant look had rubbed me the wrong way…" Igris says while bowing.

"Hate…the swordsman…" Makoa grumbles.

"He gives me the same bad vibe as the doctor….sorry, I almost snapped…" Taiyo mutters, looking ashamed.

"…..look, guys. We need to make this clear. I don't want a senseless killing." Izuku says. "I understand Ryuji's terrible nature, but killing him while we're about to face a possible dangerous dungeon is not a good idea. Our side loses manpower as the guild will refuse to cooperate and humanity will be doomed…."

"We're sorry…" They all said in unison.

"I don't like that man….he tried to kill you…" Mamoru grumbles as Izuku sighs.

"You don't have to like him….just leave him be…" Izuku says.

"Are you sure?" Igris asks.

"… Okay, wrong choice of words. Keep an eye on him, and if he tries to do the same stunt, cut off his limbs," Izuku says before they all cheered, causing Izuku to deadpan at them. "You guys are way too excited…"

With Tokoyami and others

Trinity's Private Room

"…..how long will it take for you guys to reveal the information to me?"

Ochako and Eijirou look away while rubbing the back of their head sheepishly, Melissa can be seen standing on the side looking awkward. Tokoyami had just learned that cosmic godly beings existed and attempted to rule the Earth while the Trinity attempted to grow stronger so they could fight them off.

"Well, Izu promised he would tell you about it later, but…." Ochako twiddled her fingers. "One thing leads to another, you know it…."

"Yeah, man. We didn't want to hide things from you, but….it's a very long story that we can't just talk about in the middle of a street." Eijirou says.

"….are you going to plan to tell the class about it?" Tokoyami asks.

"No, what they're dealing with right now is stressful enough," Ochako answers. "Let them settle with everything….then, we reveal everything."

"Okay, then why did you guys make it exceptions for us and Shield-senpai?" Karasu asks.

"Well, given how you're able to keep cool-headed despite everything, the Red Dungeon, the Shadows, the Lycanthropes, and everything, we decided to start with you," Ochako says.

"As for Melissa, she will keep asking questions regarding the magic materials, so we had to tell her before she keeps pestering us," Eijirou says jokingly before he gets shot by a mana blast from the drone. "Hey!"

"Don't make fun of me!" Melissa huffs. "The actual reason is because I end up witnessing the gate forming and Izuku entering the gate. And….given my family got to know most of this stuff, they decided to tell me about it."

"So, yeah. That's why." Ochako says while shrugging.

"……I need a coffee…." Tokoyami mutters as the three of them snort. Then, Izuku enters the room with a tired sigh.

"Hey, guys. Sorry, just talking with the Shadows." Izuku says. "They've been trying to kill Goto Ryuji since the battle started. I had to keep them at bay."

"Speaking of Goto Ryuji, what's his deal anyway?" Melissa asks with a scowl. "He looks like you have murdered his puppy, pissed on its corpse, and smeared the remaining on his wife's grave."

"….." Everyone look at Melissa incredulously, wondering where the fuck did she get that from. Melissa looked flustered before hastily looking away, looking flustered.

"Y-You know what I meant!" Melissa exclaims as the Trinity snorts at her.

"I only know that he's a very….' ambitious' person who desires to be National Rank Awakener," Izuku says before shrugging. "Also, Edgeshot-sensei's words from earlier didn't help at all…."

"What's even a National Rank?" Eijirou asks in confusion.

"It's a special rank for Awakeners who have the power equivalent of a nation's military power. A one man nation," Izuku says as everyone immediately stares at Izuku, causing him to deadpan.

"No, I'm not included," Izuku says as they all look at him in disappointment, which Izuku ignores. "Anyways, Edgeshot-sensei said they both go to the same dojo once."

"For real?" Melissa exclaims before remembering how Edgeshot acts and compares it to Goto. "… Yeah, I can't see it. The discipline from dojo training isn't there."

"Why would he even seek for the title, anyway?" Eijirou asks.

"Not sure." Izuku shrugs. "His desperation doesn't seem from greed, but personal reason. Anyways, let's focus on the current situation." Izuku look at Tokoyami and Melissa. "Tokoyami, Karasu, Melissa, now that everything is over for now, would you like to see how your magic works?"

"I would be honored."/"Oh, hell yeah!" Both Tokoyami and Dark Shadow say in unison.

"Do I even get one? I don't feel it…." Melissa ponders.

"Well, yes," Izuku says. "And that's why we're going to test it now, to see your strength and skill."

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to check…" Melissa shrugs before remembering something. "Hey, does anyone know where that white-haired girl was? She seems to disappear with zero explanations."

"She went back to her home, apparently she's been hiding the fact that she's a hero student from her parents. They believed she was in a boarding school where she could get a full scholarship to university and she had an hour left before her parents called her." Izuku explains and everyone looks at him like he has grown a second head. "Don't look at me, I merely told you guys what she said."

"But, that isn't how getting a scholarship even works…." Melissa mutters. "Is it different in Japan?"

"….I don't know much about the States' laws, but it was meant to be a lie, so it never makes sense to begin with. She admits that her family are gullible." Izuku says as they all facepalmed.

"Why does she even lie to them in the first place?" Ochako ponders.

"Who knows? Maybe they disapprove of her being a hero or something," Karasu commented.

[To Be Continued]
