Chapter 2: Plans for Naruto
It's been a month since Naruto started staying with Kara in Smallville and he's been grateful to have a friend like her and people like John and Martha. He's been helping out on the farm which helped take his mind off things along with Kara having spent the week with me even if he tried to tell her that other people needed her, but she would tell me that he was more important than anyone else right now. She wasn't going anywhere and he was glad she was there for him. When he was asked if he wanted to train, he would turn her down saying that he doesn't want to.
Naruto was now at a diner that was nearby, enjoying some breakfast and he had to say, it was some of the best food he'd ever eaten which was second to Martha's cooking third being to Ayame and Teuchi's ramen. He was eating some pancakes, bacon, sausages, eggs, with a glass of orange juice.
"I'm glad that I decided to step out this morning." Naruto said to himself, loving the food that was made.
"Glad that you like the food. It's one of the few places that actually puts the time and effort into it unlike other places." He heard a familiar voice that made him chuckle.
"Want to join me Kara? I can order something for you if you want." Naruto offered to the female Kryptonian who nodded as she sat down across from him.
"Do you have any plans for today?" Kara asked her friend who shrugged his shoulders.
"I'm not sure. I think it would be about time I got those books published and start getting some money earned." Naruto said.
"That's great news. You never did tell me what they're about." Kara said, getting him to laugh nervously.
"I'll show you one of them later on or you'll just have to wait for it to be published." Naruto chuckled at her pout.
"Alright, fine." Kara relented with a small smile, glad to see him teasing and joking around with her. "You don't have to work on the farm today, so do you plan to do anything or visit anyone?" She asked, but was saddened when he shook his head.
"No, I.. I'm not ready to do that yet. I had planned on just staying around the house and maybe doing some training. I haven't decided yet." Naruto said, getting to nod slowly.
"You should go visit someone. You can't be spending all of your time at the house. Why not go visit any of the original members? They'd like to see you again." Kara expressed her worry, grabbing his hand and caressing it slowly.
"I'm fine at the house though. I have a lot of things to do that will be taking up most of my time. I'm sorry." Naruto apologized, making the blonde Kryptonian sigh at him.
"Are you sure? You spend all of your time cooped up there and it wouldn't hurt to try to get back into things." Kara said as Naruto gave her a questioning look.
"What do you mean? I keep myself busy and in regards to seeing anyone from the league, I'm sure they're too busy with their jobs and lives." Naruto gave her a fake smile, but she wasn't fooled by it.
"I mean maybe trying to get back into being a member of the league like before and I don't think anyone would be too busy to give a simple visit. They care about you after all." Kara said, but Naruto had a nervous look on his face.
"No. I. I can't do it anymore. I've given up that life and I'm tired of fighting Kara. Thanks for the talk, but I'm fine as I am now." Naruto said with finality as he paid for the meal and left, leaving the young hero alone to her thoughts.
"Why does he have to be so difficult? Can't he see how much he's hurting himself by keeping his distance from everyone?" Kara asked herself as she didn't know what to do with her friend, seeing him like this wasn't good for him and he missed the goofy and smiling blonde Shinobi that would make her smile and laugh all the time. This wasn't him and the guy that's here now is someone who's so afraid of even seeing anyone. "Damn you all that did this to him! You've practically destroyed an amazing guy to this unsure and terrified person now who's afraid to let anyone get close anymore due to your betrayal after everything he did for them. This is how he's repaid?!" She said to herself. She didn't know what to do and could only hope that he would get better soon.
"I'm going to need some advice." The Kryptonian said to herself when she walked out of the diner.
Naruto made it back home and into his room and flopped down into the bed with a lot to think about. He wanted to go see the Justice League, but he also didn't want to be a hero having felt like he wouldn't be able to. His nightmares weren't getting any better and that was something that bothered him still. He was worried that they'd all fear him or see him as a monster like they did. It was troubling him, not knowing what to do about this and gave a frustrated sigh.
"Why don't you go do some training like you mentioned, you were able to pick up Madara's memories when you sealed him along with the Juubi into yourself, so you should see what you picked up from him." Kurama suggested, not wanting his partner to think like this anymore.
'That's a good idea. I have his memories, right, so I should be able to sort them out.' Naruto said as he changed into some light training gear. He decided to go a few miles out away from the farm and where no one would stumble across him by accident. "Alright, let's do this." He sat down in a lotus position as he started going through the memories of the Uchiha to see what he has and what he will be working on with the Sharingan and the Rinnegan.
"I have some knowledge on the Rinnegan, so I'll be helping you with that as best I can partner." He told his friend/partner. 'This'll also help take his mind off things for a while.' He said in an afterthought.
"Alright, let's take a look at the Sharingan first before we go into the Rinnegan. We can work on that one later." Naruto said as he would spend the next three hours meditating on what he gained from Madara which included his Ninjutsu in the fire affinity, his skills in Fuinjutsu, the Uchiha Taijutsu (Interceptor Fist), and his skills in weapons which he would have to practice since having the memories wouldn't be enough and wanted to master them.
While Naruto was training, he had clones writing down all jutsu that he had gained from absorbing Madara and the Juubi into himself, so he could go through all the notes at a later date. What he wasn't aware of was that he was being watched by John and Martha, with worrying expressions on their faces.
"He's been struggling adjusting here and not only that, but I've been hearing his nightmares at night. I'm worried about him, John and I don't know how to help him." Martha said with clear worry in her eyes seeing a young man she'd enjoying having around.
"It's only been a month, so it's only natural that these things take time, but you're right that he hasn't improved at all since he's been so distant from everyone except for Kara, but even then it's not much of a difference." John sighed sadly as he watched him train.
"All we can do is be there for him and help him get back out there. He needs support from Clark, and Kara. Hopefully he can learn that they do care and worry about him." Martha got a hug from her husband in response as they smiled at the boy who had been important to their family since they met him.
"Naruto! It's time to come inside for some lunch, you must be hungry from working hard out here. Why don't you come inside and take a break?" Martha asked her grandson who nodded with a smile and went inside which made them smile when they saw him smile at them.

Kara had arrived at the Justice League's tower after she was beamed back up after contacting J'onn to pick her up. She had been thinking about what to do about Naruto since nothing had changed since he first arrived at her parents house as he spent most of his time working on a book that he never told her what it was and that she'd have to wait until it was ready to publish and work with John on the farm. Other than those two things, he never did anything else, rarely leaving the house as this morning was a surprise, but it wasn't enough considering it was the first time he'd gone anywhere.
"Hey Kara, we weren't expecting you today." He heard Superman say from behind.
She turned to see him along with Wonder Woman and Batman who had their hero outfits on.
"Yeah I'm sorry about that, but I came to get some advice about something." Kara rubbed the back of her neck, getting questioning looks from them.
"And that would be what exactly?" Superman asked.
"Naruto." Kara sighed as they looked at her with more worry in their expressions even if it was slightly for Batman.
"How's he been doing this past month? I know we haven't visited him with how busy we've been after everything with Luthor happened has taken most of our time." Diana said, but the Kryptonian young woman just shook her head.
"It has nothing to do with that really and with how he's doing, I don't know, he spends all of his time either helping Pa with the farm or getting those books translated." Kara explained to them.
"He's keeping himself busy, I don't see how this should worry you if he's trying to get himself a home. I feel like there's more to it than that, isn't there?" Batman asked, more of a statement than a question.
Kara nodded her head and went on to explain how he's been having nightmares nearly every night about not just the war, but what happened afterwards with everyone's betrayal. Their conversation at the diner and how he didn't want to see them, claiming that they'd be too busy to see someone like him which made them frown and Diana grew more concerned for him. By the end she was done speaking, everyone was extremely worried about the blonde and how he had been greatly affected by everything that happened.
"Is there anything that we can do to help him?" Diana asked immediately.
"I'm not sure, he says that he's getting better, but I don't believe him and he's making it difficult. I'm not the only one who's worried about him as are Ma and Pa. They told me that he's working himself too much on the farm and his books." Kara sighed after she finished speaking.
"He doesn't do anything else? Nothing else?" Superman asked.
"That's it. Those two things is all he does. He doesn't train much anymore, but if he does it's not much. I don't know what to do and I'm getting more worried about him.
"He doesn't train? That's hard to imagine, since he would train whenever he could, so yeah this isn't good." Superman agreed with his cousin.
"We'll figure something out, has he said anything about coming back to hero work?" Diana asked.
"He… He said he can't come back to the League or the life of a hero and he's tired of fighting. It's like he's lost himself completely and is just going through the motions in his days." Kara told the three.
"That's not good. He's changed. I see what you're concerned about." Batman said, getting nods from them in agreement.
"Why don't we all go out, all of us, since it'll be the first time after so long. It could be good for him." Diana suggested.
Batman immediately turned down the offer, not one for get togethers like that, but it was expected by them even if he did think it would be good idea for him.
"That's not a bad idea. I'll talk to John, Shayera, J'onn, and Flash about it and see what they think. This could be like old times." Kara agreed wholeheartedly. This would be good for him if she could get him to agree to it.
"But the hard part is getting him to go out. I have a feeling it's more than us being busy. He is family, so what's he worried about?" Diana asked them as they continued talking about their plans with the whiskered blonde when people who overheard the conversation were curious about the mysterious blonde that showed up a month ago out of nowhere, but had also had a familiar connection to not just the league, but to the original members if their reactions to seeing him was any indication.
Back with Naruto he had been working on the Sharingan after he had lunch, he delved back into training, learning all he could about what it was capable of without the MS abilities. He had thought about starting on the Rinnegan, but he didn't want to do too much at once. Besides he also was going to start working on other elements and even bloodline's that he gained from Kurama becoming the Juubi.
He had just finished going over some elemental manipulation exercises and was now finishing up for the day.
"What to do now?" He asked himself as he took a drink from a bottle of water. It was getting late, so maybe he should get some sleep for the night. He pulled his phone out to check the time and it was only 8:15 which meant it was still early in the night.
Naruto heard the door to his room being knocked on, snapping him out of his thoughts. He got up to answer it and saw it was Ma who had a worried look on her.
"Is something wrong Ma?" Naruto asked her worried for her, but she shook her head confusing him.
"Nothing at all Naruto. Just wanted to check on you. You've been busy today, training which is good to see you staying fit, but you've been pushing yourself so much and we're worried about you." Ma told him, his head hanging sighing to himself.
"I'm alright Ma, just decided to do something different and isn't it a good thing I'm keeping myself busy?" He joked a little, but it didn't do much to ease her worries.
"Yes, but you've been doing too much, even though you aren't giving yourself time to yourself. And I don't mean that book of yours. Why not go into town and enjoy yourself? I'm sure you can make some friends or even spend some time with Kara and some of her friends?" Ma suggested.
Naruto thought for a moment before he shook his head and sat down on his bed.
"I know you mean well Ma and I really appreciate everything you've done for me, but all of her friends are women, which isn't a bad thing, but I'm sure Kara and her friends are all very busy with the league and their own lives." He argued, but he saw her stern look which wasn't anything good knowing how she can be.
"No. You've been cooped up here for a whole month basically and the only time you went out was at the diner for breakfast. Other than that, you've been here or helping Pa with the farm. Why would you say something like that about Kara when she's your friend?" She asked, at the end with a concerned look when she sat down next to him as he looked at the ground for a moment not knowing what to say.
"I… I don't know." He said, knowing why exactly, despite knowing that she wasn't like the others and the league would stand by him.
"Well, me and Pa are here if you need to talk to us. We care about you and want you to at least try to get out more." Ma pleaded, which he sighed and nodded knowing it might not be a bad idea.
"I'll think about it." He answered her, which got her to smile at him warmly.
"That's all I ask." She said, getting up to leave as she smiled at him one more time before she left the blonde to himself.
Naruto decided to get a shower and a clean change of clothes as he decided what to do. Once done, he was wearing a simple white shirt and black pajama bottoms.
"I know she worries for me, but is it really that easy to just get out there and meet new people or even with old friends?" He asked himself as he went into bed, thinking about this before sleep took over.

It's been a few weeks since Naruto had that conversation with Ma and he'd been thinking about it a lot. He'd been going back and forth in his mind about it and would get advice from Kurama on the subject. Kurama could understand his concerns, but he did want his friend to get out more and meet up with the League members. It would be good for him and a step towards recovery.
Right now we find the blonde in Metropolis, with a publisher after finally finishing translating the books, he could get them published, oh Jiraiya would be so proud that he's sharing his books with the world.
"Hmm, after reading the first book of the ones you gave me, I think we can come to an agreement." The publisher said, liking what she's read so far. It certainly is different from other books she's read and published.
"Good. I was hoping you'd say that, but when it gets published, don't do it under my name even if I'm the owner for them. Also can we just get the first book out and slowly integrate the others into them? I don't want to send too many out at once." Naruto said, getting a nod from her in understanding.
"That works for me, it will keep the people coming back for more. I look forward to working with you from now on Mr. Namikaze." She shook his hand as they continued talking.

Kara was in the Watch Tower on monitor duty which was extremely boring, but important and luckily she wasn't alone. She was with four others, two of them were Diana and Shayera with the third being Green Arrow, and the fourth person being woman landed on the roof, she's an African American and has short black hair and wore a full body orange jumpsuit with no sleeves which exposed her low D-cups, was tight showing off her athletic body, and had a round plump ass. This was Mari/Vixen.
"I hate monitor duty, it's so boring." Kara complained, wanting to do something more fun.
"It may not be the most exciting thing to do, but it's important, so we can be notified if anything were to come to our attention." Diana playfully lectured as Kara stuck her tongue at the Amazon with Green Arrow and Vixen chuckling.
"I do have to admit though, she's got a point, as much as I don't like this part of the job, it does have its importance. I've been meaning to ask lately, but any news on the blonde that showed up awhile ago? How's he doing?" Green Arrow asked the two who were closer to him than others.
"Who?" Vixen asked, wondering who he was referring too.
"Work in progress, last I saw him, he seemed okay, on the outside that is. And you remember how a portal opened up about two months ago?" Kara asked, getting a nod from the model. "Well he's the same person that we're talking about and let's just say that he's going through a very rough time trying to cope with things and getting back on his feet." She said, now confusing her even more and becoming curious.
"I heard about that and how he was in very rough shape. What happened to him anyway and how do you guys all know him?" Vixen asked with Oliver already knowing this having spent time with him when he was on the Watch Tower.
Diana and Kara looked at each other for a brief moment, wondering what they should say since it's personal.
"We can't go into detail since it's personal, but he's dealing with a betrayal at the highest order by who he thought were his friends and allies." Diana vaguely answered, but Vixen got the message, but was wondering who he was.
"How do you guys know him? He didn't seem surprised to see you guys and to know you for that matter." Vixen said, wanting to know more about their mysterious guest.
"He was a founding member of the league for a time until he left to go finish something at his home." Diana answered, surprising the two since they knew that only eight of them had been present with the last one being away for a while.
"Kyuubi, huh? That does seem to explain his familiarity with you." Oliver said in slight surprise.
"That's good he's back. I never did get a chance to thank him for helping me out in Africa finding the missing villagers at the time." Vixen smiled, having wanted to express her gratitude for everything he did back then.
"I remember hearing about that, it was when half of the village had gone missing and Naruto went to go investigate it. He did a good job and not only returned the villagers, but had also gotten information about dirty official authorities, so once those were taken away, much of the crime had gone down." Oliver said impressed with the man's work and how much he seemed to care.
"He always did his best to help people. Even when I was new and felt alone on Earth, he always took time to check on me and made me feel welcome and belonged." Shayera smiled at the memories of them just hanging out and whenever he'd check on her well-being. He even helped her and John get together and laughed at how he did it.
"We still haven't seen him since we last talked and Kara had a great idea too. Did we ever find a day where we were all off duty?" Diana asked them who nodded.
"Yeah, after we talked, Superman and I looked at the schedule to see when most of us would be off duty for the day. We have a week when that happens where we can spend the day with him." Kara said, then turned to Oliver and Vixen. "You two could come as well, I'm sure he'd like to see you both again since it's been awhile after all." She told the two.
"Maybe. If I don't have anything going on in my other life then I don't see why not and could even bring Dinah since she'd like to see him again." Oliver said as he would need to make sure he had nothing going on that day.
"I'd like that. I don't have any modeling to do for a few weeks, so that clears up most of my schedule." Vixen said, looking forward to seeing him again.
"Then it's agreed. I know John and J'onn aren't much for get togethers like this, but I think they'll make an exception this one time." Diana said, already knowing that Wally would be there for his friend.
"Great. I'll let Naruto know what's going on." Kara said as they continued to talk.

Shayera and Flash were in one of the rooms in the league's tower as she was going over her thoughts on monitor duty with Flash not really paying attention as he was thinking about the get together with his longtime friend Naruto. Across the room were two women who were speaking to Superman about Luthor's prison escape.
The first had white hair, blue eyes, long legs that accentuated her hips, and her mid D-cup breasts. Her outfit consisted of a blue and white suit that hugged her curves and her firm butt with white sleeves, and white snow boots to finish her look.
The other woman had green hair that went to her lower back and green eyes with black lipstick. She wore a dark green top that showed off some cleavage of her low DD-cup breasts, and the same shade of green for gloves on her wrists and leggings, that showed off her wider hips and round butt.
These were Ice and Fire, two heroes that were known in Brazil for their work in the government in the past and their abilities to use Cryokinesis or Ice, and Pyrokinesis or Fire, green fire in her case.
They were talking about what to do about Luthor and what they could do to help track the man down when Hawkgirl and Flash saw Agent Faraday appear on the screen.
"Got something for you." Faraday stated when he pushed a button on his phone which they assumed was a speaker. "Tell Hawkgirl your story, Mr. Seriani." He said to the man on the line.
"We met a while back, ma'am. Longer for me than you though, when you traveled in time to World War II. You fought alongside my squadron." Mr. Seriani said, to help her remember.
Shayera's mind clicked instantly and gave a nostalgic smile. "You're one of the Blackhawks." She said.
"Only one still kicking I'm sorry to say." He replied somberly.
"What's the problem?" Flash asked, wanting to find out what he needed to tell them.
"During the war and for decades after we captured a lot of weapons, real sci-fi stuff. We hid the worst of it on Blackhawk Island. We decommissioned the place over 30 years ago, but this morning the old security alarm went off. Might be nothing." Mr. Seriani hoped that was the case.
"Or it might be someone raiding your armory, we'll take a look Shayera out." She said, ending the call and looked at the speedster. "Pick a third for the team." She told him who nodded and looked at the two behind them and was about to call out to one of them when the doors opened to reveal the blonde former Shinobi in his civilian clothes.
Not expecting a visit from him, Flash greeted him with a smirk on his face, appearing next to him with a side hug. "Look at you man, I wasn't expecting you to come here." He said, glad, but surprised in his evident tone.
"He's not the only one. We weren't expecting you to stop by, but it's certainly a welcome one." Shayera made it to them and gave Naruto a quick hug and a small noogie, though it was hard for her since he was taller than her.
"Just thought I'd come check out the place, heard the League grew and wanted to know what else had changed. Seems like I came at a bad time though?" Naruto asked, seeing as though they appeared to have been getting ready for a mission.
"We just got a mission and need to check it out. Nothing too big though, so it shouldn't be a problem for us. We were just about to get our third member before heading out." Flash said.
Naruto nodded and gave an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that. You go ahead and take care of this." He apologized with a sad look with Flash waving his apology off, telling him that it was fine and went to go talk to their third team member.
"So I've heard you've been having nightmares." Shayera stated bluntly, he winced at the comment as he gave her a questioning look which the Thanagarian saw. "Kara told us and frankly she's worried about you as we are too." She said concerned for him.
"I really wish she wouldn't make it sound so bad, but it's just some nightmares, that's all. I'm alright Shayera." Naruto said, hoping to ease her worry and she gave him a look as if studying him before she relented…..for now anyway when Naruto decided to ask her something. "What's with the new look? No helmet anymore and new clothes, what's going on auntie?" He asked, as he gave a once over at her new look
"It's a long story, but what's wrong with my clothes?" Shayera said with a look that he should explain and that it better be good.
"Nothing at all. Just looks great, but why do you need to expose your stomach? I don't exactly like it." He grumbled as she chuckled and gave him an amused smile.
"Are you worried , I might attract someone other than John?" She asked, seeing him narrow his eyes as she couldn't help, but laugh anymore.
"Oh hardy har har. You're so funny." He grumbled as she continued to giggle when Flash and Fire walked next to them with Flash chuckling and Fire was looking at Naruto curiously.
"We have our third member and Naruto meet Fire, Fire this is Naruto Namikaze, one of the fou-." Flash was cut off when Naruto nudged the red clad speedster in the side and gave him a look to stop from finishing that sentence.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Fire." He gave a warm smile, one she returned as she shook his hand.
"It's nice to meet you. How do you know Hawkgirl if I may ask?" The Brazilian asked who saw how close they were, but it wasn't that of lovers, but like family.
"I'm a family friend you could say." Naruto said with a smile as she smiled back at him, making his heart beat faster for some reason, blushing a little for some reason. Shayera and Flash saw this and inwardly snickered with Shayera seeing him have something of a crush on her as well as Kara.
"Aren't you the one that appeared in the Watch Tower two months ago? I'm glad to see that you're feeling much better." Fire said glad that he was healed.
"Thank you, Fire." He nodded to her.
"I'm sorry to cut this short Naruto, but we gotta get going. We can always catch up when we get back, I mean you're still meeting up with us later, right?" Shayera gave him a look that said, he better be there or else and he nodded knowing she would drag him out of the house if he didn't show up.
Naruto saw the three leave for their mission and saw the one with white hair give him a friendly wave as he waved back and gave a nod to her as she looked back at the screen to start looking for Lex. He didn't want to get in her way, so he left for her to work without someone bothering her. She gave him one more glance finding him to be intriguing and handsome which she was sure her friend thought so too.
Naruto walked out of the room to head home since he'd gotten to see the rest of the building which impressed him with how organized they were, glad that they got others to join the league and could better help the world. He now knew more than ever that he wasn't needed anymore and could trust them to handle everything. He just walked out of the Hall of Justice when he saw Vixen, whom he hadn't seen in over two years when he helped her out in Africa against the human trafficking ring.
She noticed him first and gave him a charming smile as her smile grew when he smiled back and walked over to her with his own smile.
"Vixen, it's good to see you." Naruto said.
"Likewise, Kyuubi. I wasn't expecting you to be here since it's usually only League members who can get in?" Vixen asked, getting a shrug as he looked at her in surprise at knowing his old hero name.
"Please call me, Naruto. I'm not using the Kyuubi name anymore and am a civilian now." He said, surprising her. Yes, she heard from Kara that he wasn't the same, but hearing that he wasn't wasn't wanting to be a hero anymore in person was different. "I heard about this place and wanted to check it out. I hope that's not a problem ma'am." Naruto said, ignoring his old hero name as she gave him a mild glare at calling her ma'am.
"Don't call me ma'am, I'm not that old and it's not one at all. It's good that you're here actually as I wanted to thank you for everything you did in Africa when you helped me stop that human trafficking ring two years ago." She said, as he blushed a little at the praise, not used to it, but she smiled at him, finding it amusing and cute to see him acting bashful.
"It was no problem. It's wrong to do something like that, taking children from their families is just horrible." Naruto gave a growl at the mention of it, reminding him of Danzo and Orochimaru.
Vixen was surprised to see the utter hate for it, but it made her smile grow seeing the passion he had for helping. It showed how much he cared as a hero, but now he seemed to not exude the same want to be a hero anymore which concerned and made her wonder what had happened.
"Come on, why don't you walk with me to the Hall of Justice. I'd like to learn more about you as you're quite intriguing." Vixen said, hooking one of her arms through his before he could say anything, she was already leading him away which he shook his head and chuckled as they would continue talking, finding her to be quite the hero and model after learning she did that for work as a civilian. He joked about seeing one of her shows and she giggled at it, but played along and told him that she wouldn't mind him seeing him at one of her shows which he blushed again, but fought it down and gave her a fake glare before they laughed.
"Thank you for the walk. It was fun talking with you again after so long. You're quite fun to talk to, I hope to see you again." The model said, as she walked away with a light sway to her hips, knowing he'd be glancing if not be looking. He just stood there at the entrance, not sure what to make of what just happened as he wasn't sure how to feel about it.

Naruto was walking down the street, having decided to take a look around and see about getting his own place once he gets enough money from the books sold. He had also been thinking a lot since his talk with Kara when she told him about getting together with some of the league members, if not all the founding members. He knew she meant well, but he wasn't sure about it still, but was internally glad that she was making such a huge effort to help him mean everything to him. As long as they don't try talking to him about coming back then he'd be fine. He was tired from fighting and being a hero is something he wanted to be done with.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard an explosion that was nearby. He instantly was on the scene and saw there were two people at the bank, robbing it. The first one was Metallo who had a metal body with a human mind and the other being Grundy, the undead zombie having enormous strength. It wasn't long before he saw Kara on the scene as Supergirl take them on. He turned around to leave as to not get involved, confident in his friend that he could handle them when a green energy blast sailed past him with a red blur doing so as well.
A couple minutes ago
Kara had been enjoying her day off from the league, not having monitor duty or anything of the sort and could relax. She had just finished eating lunch at a restaurant while thinking about Naruto and how she was looking forward to spending time with him and the others. It was rare for everyone to have time for something like this and it was going to be fun, especially if it could help Naruto even a little. She along with Diana and Flash managed to get John and even J'onn to agree to it, but not Batman which surprised nobody considering all things.
She was now just walking through the town when she could hear sirens going off thanks to her super hearing. She sighed knowing that she wouldn't be able to enjoy her day anymore, so she snuck into an alleyway and quickly changed into her hero costume.
When she appeared where the commotion was, it was at a bank that was being robbed by her cousin's enemy Metallo who she was wary of because of the Kryptonite piece he carried in his chest. And it wasn't just him either, Grundy was also there to act as extra muscle.
"It's Supergirl!" One of the police said.
"The one and only!" Kara said as she appeared, much to the cops enthusiasm, having her here.
"I'll fix that!" Metallo screamed as he tried to use his eye beam to weaken her, she saw in time to dodge having heard of his abilities from her cousin.
John Henry Irons AKA Steel appeared and blocked the blast with his hammer and began to engage with the metal man..
"GRR, GRUNDY GROW TIRED OF SUPERGIRL!" The creature yelled after taking another punch to the face.
"You're tired, I have to deal with the smell." She replied as her eyes glowed red and fired her heat vision at him, burrowing deep within.
"ARRG! GRUNDY NO LIKE HEAT!" Grundy screamed at the pain.
Unfortunately Grundy bore with the pain enough to give a backhand to the Kryptonian hero that launched her into a car with a groan..
"Got you!" Metallo said as he unleashes a full blast from his eyes after managing to knock the steeled hero away briefly.
"Aaah!" Kara cried out as in pain from the blast that was not only hurting her, but weakening her too before she was sent flying away that went past a familiar whiskered blonde.
"Supergirl!" Steel yelled as he tried to tackle the machine.
"GRUNDY NO THINKS SO." The walking dead man says he grabs the armored man and punches him directly into the path of the beams.
"Yaargh!" Steel cried out
"GRUNDY DEAL WITH YOU LATER!." Grundy said while smiling at the hero's misfortune.
"Don't just stand there gawking, they need help, open fire!" one of the higher ranking ones says as all police take out their weapons and fire at the villain duo.
Sadly their standard issue weapons have no effect worse yet the other henchmen return fire, wounding and killing some of the police, things seem bleak until…
"SHRROOOM!" the roar of someone passing them and Grundy was suddenly sent flying back with a loud grunt
"What now!" Metallo said in frustration.
"Me." They heard a voice say, turning to see who it was that stepped in.
There stood Naruto, but he had a hood that covered his hair that was black in case it was pulled back, the bottom half of his face was covered up with his eyes being emerald green instead of blue showing he had used the transformation jutsu. He was wearing a black armored vest over his white sleeved shirt, black Anbu pants and boots. He didn't have any of his Shinobi weapons out to not have anyone recognize him at all, so he would stick to Taijutsu for the most part and maybe even use the Rinnegan so he can use the rods.
"Who the hell are you?!" Metallo demanded as he sent a blast at him who jumped to the side to avoid it and appeared in front of him and slugged him in the face which sent him back into Grundy who just got back.
"GRUNDY WILL CRUSH YOU!" He roared getting back up and started attacking him, but Naruto was dodging them with ease having gone against much faster opponents in the past.
Naruto dropped his body to the ground and rolled forward, the spot he was in had small cracks. He was on him in moments and kicked the back of the knee which dropped him to a knee, but Grundy managed to grab him and threw him off towards where Kara was who was getting up from the Kryptonite attack.
"I need to end this now." He said in a calm tone in contradiction to his earlier statement and activated his Rinnegan and held his hand out.
"Almighty Push!" He said sending a invisible force towards the zombie at full force where he crashed into a wall as Naruto appeared behind him, summoned a rod and hit him in the back of the head, knocking him out as he stayed down and was forced dodge another blast from the metal man who was sneering at him, but was caught by a second blast..
Naruto got back up and stared at his opponent, trying to figure out how to go about this. He was on the man in split second and gave him a ten combo to his body, ending with a kick to his face, with the man getting more and more upset.
"That will be enough of that!" Metallo suddenly yelled as he rushes the Spartan.
Metallo tried shooting more blasts at him, but Naruto was moving too fast for him and in a matter of seconds the distance was closed and he felt a punch in the face yet again and swung his arms at him and the former Shinobi jumped back and held a hand sign with the criminal not seeing the seal array on his stomach which stopped his movements.
"W-what!? Why can't I move?!" Metallo asked, mad at this nobody stopping him and Grundy with ease.
Naruto walks up and pries open his chest and pulls out the rock making the light in his eyes fade, he then places it in his sack where it is kept in flat space thus shielding the radiation, with that done he walks towards the heroes.
Kara struggles to get up as she is still weak, the sun is healing her and Steel is doing better having secured Grundy already, but long exposure takes its toll on them, that's when she is suddenly picked up by her friend bridal style, much to the surprise of everyone, and her slightly as evidenced by the redness in her cheeks.
"Are you all right?" Naruto asked her.
"Um, Y-yeah, I'm getting there." She said, not seeing his face because of the hood keeping him hidden, still he nodded and took her to a bench that survived the altercation.
As he places her down and asks the questions on her mind. "Who are you?" Kara asked
"Nobody of importance. Good luck." Naruto said.
"What is that supposed to mean? Are you a new hero?." Kara said a little miffed at the subterfuge.
"No, this was a time thing because of who your opponent was. It's just as I said, nobody. You can take it from here." Naruto said, leaving the two heroes to themselves when Steel walked over towards her.
"Who was he?" The man asked.
"I don't know. He never said his name." She said, her eyes narrowing at the direction he left.
"I see. We should probably report this to the league and see what they'll do about him. Did he say anything else?" He asked, but she shook her head.
"No, just said that he only interfered because of who Metallo had Kryptonite to use against me and that it was a one time thing." Kara said with Steel nodding.
"We'll need to report this to the others and find out more about him." Steel said with Kara agreeing as they help secure Metallo and put in the van.

"So now we have an unknown person who appeared and dealt with the robbery and left as soon as they were taken care of?" Batman asked as the founding members listened to Kara and Steel's report at what they saw.
"Yes. He seemed to have super strength and sent a Grundy flying with an invisible force having taken Grundy down easily and managed to subdue Metallo somehow. We checked his body for anything, but we found nothing." Kara said, getting a grunt from Batman.
"Did he give his name or anything to help identify him?" John asked, hoping there was something.
"No. The only reason he even helped was because of Metallo being a counter against me and it was a one time thing." Kara said, confusing them.
"And because of that he wouldn't have stepped in at all and just let us handle it." Steel said.
"We'll see what we can find out about this guy. In the meantime, keep an eye out for him and we'll let others know to be aware of him, so we can talk to him if he makes an appearance again.." Batman said with the two nodding as they left the founders to discuss about him.
While they talked, Naruto had managed to get home after today's ordeal, he took a quick shower, got something to eat, and then kept studying seals to become a seals master.

First thing is first, I decided to add two others making it a small harem, so I'm sorry if those of you were looking forward to it, but after some long thinking about it and talking to a friend or two about it, they thought it would be a decent idea to add who I had in mind and mix the pairings up a little.
