Aizawa stood with the grouping of heroes that were gathered for a major raid. He wasn't exactly sure why he was here to begin with. These were seven heroes, and he was the only underground hero in the bunch. Nedzu his soon to be new boss was leading them for this. Though they weren't too sure of what the mission was quite yet. As it was such a last-minute operation.

Nedzu stepped up onto the table. Officer Sansa who had a cat mutation quirk was directly behind him, "Good afternoon. I must apologize for the last-minute call for such a massive joint operation." Aizawa took in the other heroes again. Outside of himself and Nedzu there was Present Mic and Midnight who were both good friends of his and also joining the UA administration. Along with them was Edgeshot the ninja hero, Mr. Brave the hair hardening hero, and finally Snipe the Western Hero. All heroes that were handpicked by the rat and were people he trusted.

"This is actually a two-pronged operation. The All Might Agency is going to be moving against the main base of operations while we take out a store house of sorts." Nedzu pulled up the warehouse schematics. It was massive and they would definitely have resistance. It still didn't make sense though.

Before he could raise the question Edgeshot spoke out, "Why are we here. Should we not be at the battle in the main structure?" Nedzu gestured over to Sansa who took over the meeting, "We have gotten word that there are children being held captive inside the warehouse."

Aizawa looked over at Hisashi. A shiver entered the room as the thought of what a shadow criminal organization could use them for. Snipe raised his hand as he spoke, "How do we know this? Why would they have them kids anyways?"

"Our source, who goes by Cerberus stated they are used for some sort of experiments." A shiver went down Aizawa's spine. Nedzu spoke once again, "We do not know who this Cerberus is but what we do know is that he reached out to us and asked for help. By the name we assume he is some kind of guard dog or was used as one."

"Why now?" Aizawa asked getting a few nods of agreement, "We do not know. I will ask as soon as we have him though."

Each hero was in charge of an attack group. Midnight and Snipe were leading the frontal assault. Mic was coming in from the back wall. Edgeshot and Mr. Brave were taking the East entrance. Meanwhile Aizawa and Nedzu led the through the West entrance. A tactical team followed closely as they made their way to the target point.

Word came in that All Might was attacking the main base, so they made their move. Aizawa kicked down a door and activated his quirk. Several villains were taken by surprise after losing the ability to use their quirks. The officers opened fired on the ones outside of his line of sight. Grabbing his capture weapon he quickly took out two of the villains.

Unable to get a balance without their quirks he moved to take out the last few. Making quick work of them he took in the environment. Everything seemed to be cheaply made. Almost like base was designed to move at a moment notice. TVs were up in the corner with only static which he found highly unusual.

"Eraserhead we should move forward." Nedzu climbed up onto his shoulder, "Officers go reinforce the main battle group. We will move further into the base."

As they found their way to the entrance to the underground tunnels the two heroes found little resistance. In the schematics they had seen earlier they knew this is where the prisoners were being kept. Nedzu tensed as they made their way down into the corridor, "Eraser. There is a predator of some kind down here."

Before he could ask how Nedzu knew this they came upon two guards. Both were bleeding from bite wounds. Scorch marks were along the walls as they found another villain. This one was much bigger than the others. Looking to have some kind of strength augmentation quirk, "Nedzu. Do you think this is Cerberus?"

"I can only assume. Come on let's keep going." Further in they followed the maze of hallways. Unconscious and wounded villains lined the floors. Some were bleeding severely while others had burn marks on their body. Whoever had done this was powerful.

Finally, they found the cells. All of them were opened with nobody inside. At the end of the hall was a closed door, "That's where whatever did this is." Aizawa nodded as he approached it slowly. He could hear what sounded like someone shushing and than a low growl.

Opening the door he barely had time to react as he was tackled by a wolf. It stood at the height of a full-grown grey wolf. He could only see it through his peripheral. Its snout was right above his face teeth flared. Its growl could be felt in his bones. Smoke was seeping through his canines as it held the hero down with its weight.

Aizawa wasn't sure what to do. He couldn't move without risking its wrath, "You must be Cerberus. May you please release my new staff member." Nedzu walked from outside the room. The wolf looked up at the rat before looking back down and licking his cheek. Getting off him it shifted into a small boy.

Aizawa looked to see the bright green eyes with tears streaming down his face. Freckles decorated his cheeks shining off of his pale skin. His short curly green hair was kept tight. He wore a full-bodied suit that must be fixed to his DNA as it shifts with him. Behind him huddled in the corner was nearly twenty kids. All having a multitude of different quirks and all different ages. youngest being around four and the oldest being thirteen. One that caught his attention had violet hair.

"S-sorry. I th-thought h-he s-sent m-m-more."Nedzu approached the green boy slowly before reaching up and putting his paw on his cheek. Aizawa saw the hesitation as the boy finally leaned into the touch, "You saved all these kids. Do you know that?"

Tears fell even more as he began sobbing, "I-I'm g-g-good wolf." Aizawa felt his heart breaking watching the kid. Whatever he'd been through made him terrified. Kneeling down he saw the boy sniff the air, "You are such a good wolf."

As the fighting ended upstairs, they gathered the kids and got them to a hospital across town. Nobody had heard from All Might on the fight he'd been in. Only that people were sent to clean the aftermath of a massive battle. Aizawa stood with Nemuri while Mic finished up talking to the press for the rest of the heroes. They stood looking into a hospital room to see the green headed boy get off his bed and shift to a wolf before laying in the corner.

"So that young boy is our source?" Edgeshot appeared next to them. They were all curious of the boy who risked everything to help these kids, "What a brave child. Any injuries?"

"No." Aizawa looked at the boy in awe, "He has increased healing. Any injuries he received was healed before we found him. Though he has severe PTSD. His body had scars that he couldn't heal completely. Almost like his skin was disintegrated over and over again."

"Eraserhead." All three heroes turned around to see Tsukauchi walk up with officer Sansa, "How is he?"

Nemuri answered for him, "He's okay. Scared I don't think he feels safe here." The officer nodded before looking in to see the trembling wolf, "We are going to debrief after I get the chance to talk to him."

"Good luck." He looked at Midnight, "He has only really talked to Shouta and Nedzu. I doubt he'll talk without them."

"That's fine. Eraser can you help me get a statement from the boy?" The erasure hero nodded, "Yes, but if he doesn't want to or feel comfortable than I'll make you wait." Everyone noted the protectiveness he already was demonstrating for the boy, "That's fine."

Walking in the wolf cowered more into itself. The power and confidence he had had in the warehouse seemingly gone, "Hey little wolf you're okay. I promise you're not in trouble." Looking at Tsukauchi he flared his teeth slightly, "He is an officer that works with All Might. He's a friend and won't hurt you."

His ears twitched at All Might's name, "He just needs to ask some questions for you than we will let you sleep kay?" Standing up he shook himself as he shifted back to a boy. Not having his suit on he reached for a blanket to cover himself before nodding.

"My quirk is called Lie Detector. I can tell if someone is lying after I've asked a question. Are you okay with this?" Cerberus sat on the bed and nodded, "Y-yes." He smiled at the boy as he pulled out his notebook, "Now you go by Cerberus. What's your real name?"

The boy's eyebrows furrowed, "D-don't remember." He spoke softly. Tsukauchi moved on, "Why were you in the warehouse?"

"I-I was t-t-the g-guard dog. Masters Guard dog." Tsukauchi wrote something down, "True, your quirk seems to be some kind of wolf transformation. What is your quirk?"

"I w-was made w-with many. Um they combined is w-what the d-doctor says." Tsukauchi continued with this line of questioning for some time before pulling out a file, "We did recover much from their computer. Including your real name among other things."

Both men watched as the boy looked at him with curiosity and hope, "Your real name is Izuku Midoriya. You were born from Hizashi and Inko Midoriya. You were born Musutafu " They left the boy after they let him cry. His tears of joy made Aizawa's own eyes water.

Tsukauchi looked down at his phone, "Nedzu wants us to meet with Sir Nighteye." Aizawa followed the officer until they were in a conference room. There were only the four of them and nobody else which Aizawa found confusing.

Nedzu pulled open a file on his laptop, "Thank you for bringing Aizawa."Nighteye looked him over, "Why is he here? This meeting contains to much sensitive information for such a new hero."

Aizawa had to bite back a comment before Nedzu spoke up, "Because this has to do with Midoriya. Something I have a feeling our young underground hero will want to know." Right now, Aizawa couldn't help but love his new boss.

"So be it." Nedzu took that as his confirmation to continue, "Now Eraserhead. What is brought up in this meeting must not be repeated."

"That's fine. Let's just get on with this." Nedzu hit a button and a picture of Izuku's missing persons poster from when he was four appeared on the screen, "Izuku Midoriya and his parents Hizashi and Inko Midoriya went missing not long after his fourth birthday. He is now eight years old."

"After much searching we had eventually found the body of Inko Midoriya in Musutafu. We never found her husband or son and so they were assumed dead by officials." Aizawa felt his chest ache more, "What about his quirk? Was that why he was taken?"

Nedzu though shook his head, "I'm afraid not. Young Midoriya was born quirkless." Holding up his paw he continued, "The villain All Might went to fight was a powerful villain known as All For One. His quirk allows him to bestow quirks onto others or take them away."

"So, you're saying he gave Midoriya a quirk?" Nedzu rubbed the top of his head, "Actually he gave him many quirks. From the file we recovered from this so-called Doctor and the statement you and Tsukauchi gathered they gave him for a few different quirks. First was the wolf quirk. Known as Wolf Shift allowing him to turn into a wolf. Fire breath which is self-explanatory. Move small objects which is a quirk from his mother, and finally healing regeneration."

"I don't get it though. They work in tandem though. Not separately." Nighteye picked up the conversation, "His body combined them into one quirk. How?"

"Their theory was because his mother had a psychic quirk his mind was different. Allowing him to activate a dormant and empty quirk factor. This allowed his body to combine them into something new. They also couldn't take it back from him anymore, so they turned him into a weapon."

This was horrible. He had everything taken from him before he could truly live. This was just a boy; he was given quirks that he never asked for. What was wrong with this world to allow such a horrible thing to one so young. Aizawa finally moved on from his thoughts, "What are we doing with the boy?"

"That is what I wanted to discuss with you actually." Nedzu was rather cheery now, "I know you are young and that you are still single for the time being. However, he has gotten attached to you and I think that it would be healthy for him to stay with you for the time being."

Aizawa felt some relief fill his chest. He hadn't ever thought of being a father. He'd definitely need to discuss this with Hizashi. They had only just started their relationship. There was something about the kid though. He saw the pain in his eyes but even then, he fought to save the other children, "I'm fine with that."

"We also confirmed what we had found about him as well. He was taught and trained by the villains." Tsukauchi said, "In our interviews with him, he said he bypassed their security and reached out to Nedzu to get help. As soon as he saw there were other kids there."

Nighteye shook his head almost fondly, "To think a mere child would risk his very life for kids he didn't even know."

"It would seem he has the heart of a hero." Nedzu said before continuing their meeting.

After being dismissed Aizawa went over to the boy's room. Some work from Nedzu told him that Izuku would be released to his care as soon as he went to get him. Walking in he saw that he was curled up in his wolf form on the bed. Chuckling he walked up and gently petting the boy.

With weary eyes Izuku looked up at Aizawa. His tail began wagging at the sight of the hero, "Hey kid. Nedzu pulled some strings. How would you like to come home with me?" Izuku placed his snout on Aizawa's leg and huffed while his tail began wagging a million miles an hour.

"Good come on then. I have a car downstairs. If you want, you can stay as a wolf and ride in the back seat." Getting up Izuku jumped off of the bed and stretched. Aizawa opened the door and followed the green wolf out into the hallway. It wasn't long before they were sitting in the car. Rolling down the back window Izuku had his head hanging out of the window with his tongue hanging out.

Arriving to his apartment the duo walked into his two cats. Izuku's tail began wagging at the sight of the cats, "Come on I'll show you your room kiddo." Izuku followed him through the house both Bastard and Cuddles not far behind, "Tomorrow we will have to get you some clothes and things but for now I have that body suit for you."

Seeing his own room Izuku shifted back to his human form. An actual smile gracing his lips. Aizawa was shocked at how laze-fare he was about not having any clothes on, "Here's your body suit. Feel free to look around and make yourself at home okay."

Grabbing his suit, he glanced at it in slight disgust before smiling up at Aizawa, "Thank you for saving us Eraser sir!" Aizawa couldn't help but laugh before kneeling down and running his hand through his hair, "Just call me Aizawa for now. Besides you're the real hero kid."

Lying in bed Aizawa was about to fall asleep when he heard his door open. Through the light of the hallway, he saw a wolf jump onto the end of his bed before curling up by his feet. He was sure that Izuku was still scared. At least he was comfortable with him.

Waking the following morning he saw that Izuku was still curled at the end of the bed facing the door. Getting up he went and grabbed some clothes and showered before going downstairs to see Izuku had sat in front of his couch. He was growling at the TV like it was about to turn on. That's when he remembered that there had been small televisions around the facility.

Gabbing the bottom of the boy's snout he looked at his glowing eyes, "Whatever it is that you're remembering it's not going to appear on the TV." He couldn't help but chuckle when Izuku's head tilted slightly, "I'll make us breakfast than we will go and get you some things for your room."

Shouta made the boy fish and rice. Simple but he really hadn't been prepared to suddenly have a child in the house. Quickly he called up his sort of boyfriend. Hizashi was much better with kids than he was,"Hey Sho! What's up? I'm shocked you called, we didn't have any plans, did we?"

"No. I have a situation." Looking back at the table he saw that Izuku was sitting in the chair at the table eating. He was glad to see he didn't spend all his time in his wolf form, "I have an eight-year-old kid here and we need to get him some things but I'm at a loss on how to help him."

"On my way!" Aizawa didn't have a chance to say anything else as the phone line went dead. Walking up to Izuku he knelt down, "Hey kiddo. I have someone that I'm close to coming over to help us shop today. If you are uncomfortable, we can leave without him, but he is much better with kids and public spaces than me."

Izuku didn't verbally respond but he nodded before going back to eating his breakfast. After about an hour and Izuku's third helping of fish there was a knock on the door. Aizawa hadn't noticed as he was watching the kid in in awe. He wasn't even sure where he was putting it all as he scarfed down the food.

"Sho!" Walking out he froze. Seeing the kid at the table, "Oh my GOD! He's adorable!" Izuku had his chopsticks in his mouth still while he slowly chewed on the fish, "Sit down Hizashi. I need to fill you in on a couple things first."

Aizawa told him how this kid was Cerberus. The same one that had contacted the principal and let them know that kids were being held captive. To his credit, Hizashi was completely quiet. Not saying anything while he told them what he had found. Izuku walked up to Aizawa sniffing the air while he talked.

"So, the little listener is a hero." Yamada looked at the boy who was still sniffing before kneeling down, "I know you don't trust me quite yet." He said as Izuku moved behind Shouta, "Just know that you are such a brave boy."

"Smell like Zawa?" Izuku's head tilted in confusion, "Yeah I um can't really explain that." Hizashi's face was beat red, but he laughed while he gently held his hand out. Izuku looked at his hand before looking up at the man. A small smile gracing his lips as he pressed his head against Hizashi's hand.

After that was settled the three of them drove to the mall. It was early so there were not many people in the building. Stores were just opening for the day. They had asked Izuku to stay in his human form due to the fear people would have of a wolf just walking around in the middle of the store. Starting with furniture they got him a new bed, desk, three shelves, and some bean bag chairs that he got distracted by.

Clothing was tough but together they managed to find enough plain shirts, pants, and shorts that he would be able to have a variety until he gets interested in anything normal. Toys were tough. They walked through the toy store, and he didn't find much that he wanted. Eventually they settled on a stuffed wolf that he liked because it was like him.

On their way out of the mall they stopped when Izuku froze at a pet store. He didn't move forward but Shouta could tell he wanted to. Reaching out he felt a small hand grab his. Making their way inside he walked not too interested in anything until they got to the toys. Seeing bones and squeak toys.

"I think he wants to shift Sho." The man hid his smile behind his capture scarf. Picking out a few of the toys they went back home. Shouta was happy to see the excited boy go back and forth in his room in excitement. Sitting down on his bean bag chair with a squeak toy in his hands. He was squeezing it over and over again with a happy smile on his face.

Hizashi leaned into Shouta, "I don't think this kids going anywhere. He looks at you like you're the greatest person in the world." Aizawa couldn't help but smile, "I know we having been dating long Hizashi. But since we've been friends for such a long time, I am going to tell you now. I think I want to adopt him."

"Really?" Looking at the happiness in the kid he nodded, "Yeah. It may be crazy, and I know I'm young for an eight-year-old but he's a good kid. Even years in that place his first instinct was to save those other kids. I want him to have the best life possible."

"Whatever you need Sho. I'll be there for you and the little wolf no matter what." Aizawa pulled Hizashi in closer. Feeling the love for the man more now than he had ever felt before.
